The facility, service, staff, and cleanliness were all great. The bed and pillows were so comfy following a long day of travel. The breakfast area was relaxing, and the food choices were more than adequate. Unfortunately, the hotel sits in front of a mall area and is surrounded by other businesses, so there is no real area for viewing. But for us it suited an overnight. We walked to JD Shuckers for dinner, which was of sufficient quality and choices.

The breakfast options were very nice and the bed was very comfortable. Everything was clean. The only downside was that iur mini fridge was not working but the staff was more than willing to move us to another room if needed.

I loved the staff friendliness from the front desk to shirley the helper at breakfast time. She is amazing. The clearness of your facilities are above standards. Good job

Great Stay

Needed a get away from home and my husband found Tru by Hilton in Georgetown,De. It was perfect minus the disappointment when said heated pool was an indoor heated area with a cool temperature pool. And after the hard rain and wind the smell of mold in the elevators only. Other than that perfect! We stayed a second night!

I didn't like not having a bath tub in the bathroom

There were a few shady guys hanging by the side of the building at 3 in the afternoon.

Home away from home

The hotel was nice and the person who served the breakfast was amazing. I was in town for a funeral so not a happy time, but the stay was nice. One negative, the heater blower never turned off and was loud all night long (room 425).

Hotel is beginning to show signs of wear. Our room HVAC was unusable as it was very loud when in and rattled.

I like d the location but the road was louder then I expected but it was fine. The room was clean, and the design was unique. The bed was firm and comfortable.

The hotel is newer & was very nice. The staff was extremely friendly. The older blonde woman for morning breakfast was over the top beyond friendly we would come back just for her. She made us feel so welcomed & at home. You never get that especially at chain hotels

Clean rooms, friendly staff, great breakfast

Stay here frequently for one-night beach getaways. Close enough to get to the beach, far enough away to avoid crowds and higher prices. Clean rooms, and the staff is always fantastic. Great breakfast too. Will be back.

Overnight Stay

Our stay was really nice. The king room and bathroom was spacious and very clean (thanks to Lisa!), and the overall atmosphere was great. Definitely recommend!

Very clean room and bathroom. Property was well maintained and safe. There was plenty of dining options in the plaza behind the hotel. The bed and pillows were too hard and too soft but thats a personal preference. We stayed on the 3rd floor so we heard the upstairs room occupant's every step. I can imagine that the people that stayed under us heard our steps too. They should put carpet in the rooms to alleviate the noise.

Great stay at a very nice facility.

Everything as usual was great. It’s about a 30 minute drive to Rehoboth Beach but well worth the drive. The pool is small but always open. There are great stores near it also.

The property was fine. I did not like that the platform base was bigger than the mattress, it caused lots of banged knees for my kids. Also they provide guest laundry but were completely out of laundry detergent. One of my kids got sick while on our trip and I could not wash his clothes.

Over good experience, little pricey..

I loved the water fountain and ice. The pool could use more cleaning. It looked dirty. Room was fine, maybe softener on the towels.

best hotel i have ever stayed at , it was so clean. i always saw staff cleaning and being so attentive, in the morning the breakfast was so good and and the staff was so friendly and i didn’t feel rushed out when i was checking out they even let us stay a little bit more i loved it 10/10 oh and the area was great

No coffee maker, no storage in the room - there was a sign on the wall that said “need more storage try under the bed or hooks” and we didn’t have a real blanket - it was some kind of bed skirt. We used it because we were ready for bed and didn’t want to get dressed and go downstairs to get a blanket. Strange place.

The room was clean as was the bathroom. The hallway was noisy late into the early morning which disturbed my sleep. The road noise was a bit loud as well.

I like it is affordable and a close enough drive to the beaches.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights on June 10-12,2024. My room was on the third floor room no.317, each night around 2 am, the air condition will start making a very loud noise until we can’t sleep. I had to get up turn it off and wait to turn it on again. Next morning I told the receptionist about this issue, she said she knew it because she stayed in the hotel. She want to sent the technician to come into the room to fix it but I don’t think it’s appropriate and I’ll stay only for another night and I hoped that the hotel will do something without getting in to my room. However the next night the A/C stared making loud noise again at the same time 2 am. Is your hotel and specific room 317 haunted? Please solve this problem.

Clean, modern, convenient, comfy bed, amenities

Property was well kept. Can walk to Walgreens, Walmart, pizza, chinese etc. I only stayed for one night but it was perfect for what we needed

Clean hotel

Everything was clean. Near to food places. We like this type of hotels.

Tiny rooms. We had room with King bed and there was not any more room for us! No dresser to unpack clothes of course as there is no room for it. It was a horrible experience. When one of us sat at the desk, the other person couldn’t move around at all. Go to the Quality Inn next door We thought Tru by Hilton, how bad can something by Hilton be. It was bad.

The staff was awesome, always keeping up on cleanliness. I like that there was a filtered water bottle filler near the elevator in the lobby.

Rooms were clean and complimentary breakfast was great!

The room was spotless and quite attractive. The tv was big enough and had a fine picture. Bathroom was easy to use and also attractive, and it had a continuous exhaust fan. Previous guests spoke highly of the breakfast, and it was an excellent presentation. I particularly like the large labels on the different stations. Both entering and leaving, the folks at the desk were cheerful and helpful.

There was lots of noise above my room which made it hard to fall asleep and was woken up early because of it.

The the whole experience was quite good. Actually., excellent I loved the front desk experience.. could not be better. Very kind and sociable. Very quiet in my room.. I find in other motels hearing the doors slamming shut is especially aggravating. When the door is closed, they were very quiet no slamming like in some motels. I hope you find this review helpful, definitely five stars.

Tried to get a room. Awful front service and unhelpful. Told me there were no rooms. Had another person call as I felt this person wasn't really looking, and he told her that they did have rooms. Absolutely uncaring service. I went right next door to another hotel and found a room.

The hotel is beautiful. Clean, modern and new. Staff was great. The problem is the hotel sits right on a highway, which is convenient, but we were on the highway side of the building and we could hear every car and truck go by and a loud train whistle at 2:30AM!

The pancake machine was super fun! Good pool (a bit dirty), great room-nothing fancy just the basics that included a fridge but not a coffee maker (coffe & tea were available 24/7 in the lobby) and friendly staff.

Skip this hotel due to noise and ESA rule

This hotel is not relaxing due to the amount of noise coming from route 13 and if you have people staying above you, you hear every step and if they drop something- like a gun shot. I had an ESA and it was a struggle to check in and was charged the $50 pet fee. I am on disability and this animal is prescribed to me for function in daily living. The last Tru I staid at did not charge. Overall, very clean and staff is average. Good breakfast. Very loud with highway and people living around you. Will not stay there again.

Very clean and i like wood floors

Stayed here several times in the past. I definitely like the Tru line of hotels. Clean, updated rooms, nice shower/ bathroom area No carpet. And the fan will run all night.😁 and I know it’s a little thing but I love how it says “welcome” and my name on the TV screen. I came down 113 often, so this is very easy on/off for me.

Disappointing for the price and the alleged Hilton reputation. Property almost impossible to find at night. GPS won't help as hotel located in parking lot of a larger strip mall with no direct access to main road. Parking limited given shared location. No bathtub. For $200 I would expect a decent bathtub. Staff is very nice and rooms and linens are clean. About what you'd see around Raleigh, NC airport at half the price.

Although this hotel is nice, new and clean, it was a terrible decision to put hardwood floors in the rooms. Stayed on the third floor only to be awakened by the tramping and pulling noises from the room above. Staff was nice enough to allow me to switch to a room above, but if one was not available, we would've been screwed!

My 1st time staying in Delaware, THOROUGHLY enjoyed my stay. Would definitely recommend.

Overnight stay. Everything was grood. The only thing I would criticize is the entrance from the highway. It was a bit tricky for us to figure out how to get to the hotel. The entrance is behind the hotel from the grocery store.

Good environment

Hotel was great for a night stopping over on a long drive for the night. The pool was a good activity for the kids, though not super clean. Rooms were clean and staff friendly. Breakfast was perfect and workout room was equipped for a morning fitness activity.

Staff were friendly and always able to help. The rooms were decently clean and in great condition. Location was right behind the outlets and easy to find. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again if we are in the area!

Love this place, highly recommend

Love this spot - it caters to the Sports at the Beach baseball tournaments which was the reason for my stay. The hotel room was perfect with all the right items and quirky amenities too. The lobby has a great breakfast buffet with eggs, waffles, pancakes, sausage, oatmeal and grab and go items too. It’s near a Walmart and many food places and about 3 miles from the tournament site. It was perfect

Very nice hotel. New and comfortable. Staff were great and facilities were clean. Area is a bit limited but only 30 mins from the beach all other restaurants.

Great Clean Hotel

Everything so clean, staff excellent. Room great but Bed uncomfortable. We were in Accessible Room King roll in shower, room and bath very roomy. We brought dog, nice Pet Friendly. Not staff fault but people threw trash in the doggie poop bag area also people didnt clesn up after pets. Breakfast great. Room needed more USB outlets near beds.

Very nice and updated facilities. I was disappointed with the in room ac/heat unit. It was incredibly noisy, for such a nice room to have a model T for a unit was terrible

I would stay again

We were down for a travel baseball tournament and the location was perfect for us. They had a good selection for breakfast for the team of 10 year olds . Starbucks and Dunkin’ Donuts are either side of the property, with a super Walmart and grocery store behind the hotel.
