Staking
Token holders elect delegates to represent the entire IoTeX network. Their tasks include maintaining consensus, spreading project awareness, and organizing community-wide initiatives. In return for their services, delegates are rewarded with IOTX. The average annual staking rewards are roughly 8%.

Governance
IoTeX is a digital democracy. Decisions are made by those in the community, through the use of IOTX. Anyone can submit any proposal on-chain, and it is the community who reviews and supports it. If enough stakeholders vote and the majority of votes are in favor, the proposal will be confirmed and actioned by the IoTeX Foundation.
