It was comfortable, clean and near restaurants. It was convenient to have breakfast at the hotel.

Great location but comes up a little short

Location of this place to sleep is fantastic. Trastevere is a wonderful place to explore for dining throughout the day. I booked a “deluxe triple room” for my two 20-something sons, and got a room with a queen sized bed and a sofa/day bed w arm rests that limited the length to about 6 ft, which made it tough to comfortably fit my 6’3” body. The “triple” assumes two in the party sleep together and the third person is shorter than probably 5’10”. The AC worked nicely given the weather was unseasonably warm. Breakfast was less than satisfying for us but was typical of a European continental set up. Some sliced ham, salami, and cheese, a selection of yogurts, cakes, bread, and pastries, and, of course, caffe and some delicious juices. The place is secure, and reports of a noisy setting due to the adjacent Piazza Trilussa late-night activities were over exaggerated. We liked the vibe of the area. The rooms were clean and bed/towel service was provided each day. All in all, a good experience.

This property was excellent, especially for larger groups. Very well laid out and stocked with wonderful amenities. The location was perfect for getting to all attractions around Rome and the views were amazing!!! Though not needed the host staff was easily available and checked on us throughout our stay.

Not great for solo travellers

The room was nicely decorated and very clean however if you would like to sleep at night, this maybe isn't the place for you. The walls are like paper and I could hear every word exchanged between the couple in the room next door. As a solo traveller I also felt uneasy about the lack of reception on arrival/overnight and the keys to my room were simply left in the door for me, and anyone else, to obtain. The hotel is in what appears to be an old apartment building and had no clear signage outside and wasn't that easy to find in the dark. The place was nice, but felt like staying in an upmarket hostel rather than a hotel. Your stay will very much be dictated by who is in the room next door.

Apartment living area did not have comfortable seating for 4 Need to update large sofa loveseat.

Had an amazing stay at the apartment in the Trastevere area. Excellent communication and the check process was super easy. Trastevere is such a nice area, has a cool vibe and everything is within walkable distance.

This hotel was amazing. We were only there for two days but will be back. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Had all the amenities we could ask for kitchen area and even a washing machine. Located near amazing restaurant s and local venues.

Great place and great location. Would recommend.

The property is located close to a lot of dining but be aware it is also right next to where a lot of younger adults hang out at night and drink. This was perfectly ok with us but might not be for some. This also did make for a lot of noise late into the night (3 am ). The property provides earplugs but I always have mine when traveling so again not a big issue for me. The one main issue I had with the property is the picture shows a very nice patio area that we wanted to use to have a glass of wine before dinner or after dinner. This area is only open early in the day as they use it for breakfast and you do not have access to it freely during your stay.

Great for a budget.

Delicious breakfast! My room directly overlooked the major street that runs along the river, which was lovely but loud. Unfortunately because I was on the first floor and the window had no screens, I had to leave the windows closed most of the time otherwise someone could have easily climbed through from the busy sidewalk. The room was very cute and clean, though the bed quite stiff. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and the terrace was lovely, but note that there is no lobby or communal seating area inside the hotel.

A Gem of a Hotel with a Great Location

The staff could not have been more helpful and polite and patient. The noise level is high. You can hear everyting from surrounding rooms - not sure they can do anythign about that but people should just know that. Also our room overlooked the plaza with music and loud crowds. Fortunately all that stopped at 11 pm - not sure if its the same on the weekends. Again nothing the staff can do but people should be made aware when they book. Also there was no way to use the shower head without getting water all over the floor. We didnt mention it since we were only there one night and took one shower.

Great Little Hotel

Great location right next to Piazza Trilussia and the Ponte Sisto for crossing the river in to the centre of Rome. Lots of cafes, bars and restaurants close by in Trastevere, and about 15-20 mins from the Vatican; Our room was adequately sized for two, simply decorated with a rainfall shower. Breakfast was a continental affair with a couple of hot items (mainly eggs), but plenty enough to keep you going for a morning of sight seeing. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We'd stay there again.

Best location in Rome

This is the best value location in Rome. It is not a extravagant 5-star experience, but the rooms are surprisingly large and comfortable, and it is actually ON Piazza Trilussa, which is the heart of Trastevere. Right across from the hotel is the pedestrian bridge which takes you to Campo de Fiori, Piazza Navona, etc. Taxi rank is right out front, so getting anywhere is really easy.

A fantastic hotel. Perfect, lively and authentic location. Staff very attentive and looked after us well. Priced well. Rooms spacious and beds very comfortable. 5* will stay again

Perfect for a romantic city break!

My wife & I spent 3 nights in Rome as our 'mini moon' as we are not honeymooning until later in the year. The hotel was the perfect location for a base to explore the city and the neighbourhood of Trastevere was perfect for a romantic stroll from bar to bar of an evening! Definitely recommended as a hidden gem of Rome!

It was a good stay, the hotel was ideally located right next to the Taxi stand , right next to Pointe Sisto in Trastevere.

Wonderful B&B in the heart of Trastevere

Our excursion to Rome was made complete by our stay at Tree Charme. Everything came as advertised. The room was exceptionally clean, well decorated and provided all the amenities we needed. The staff members were extremely helpful and did everything possible to insure our needs were met. The breakfast buffet was a treat. The location is exceptional. A taxi stand is located next door and the Ponte Sisto bridge is directly across the street leading into the heart of Rome. We utilized the taxis to get ourselves to and from the Roma Termini train station for the day trips we made to Florence and Naples/Pompeii. Using the Ponte Sisto bridge, sites such as the Pantheon, the Colosseum, Palatine Hill and Piazza Navona were easily accessible on foot. Vatican City is an easy (and scenic) ten-minute walk to the north along the Tiber River. We were also overwhelmed by the number of excellent restaurants available within easy walking distance of Tree Charme and the Piazza Trilussa. The Anteca Pesa is a five-minute walk to Via Garibaldi and is a dining must. Overall, we can't say enough about this outstanding bed and breakfast facility. Presuming we are fortunate enough to again make our way to Rome, we would almost certainly return to Tree Charme as our first choice for lodging.

Wonderful

A very chic and young hotel, in the Trastevere area. There are really not enough words to compliment the staff, which were extremly hospitable as well as informative. One complaint about the shower head and the next day it was fixed! Breakfast outside was excellent. Note: can be a bit noisy but overall a wonderful stay. Will come back for sure!

Small and friendly

Ideally located in Trastevere area of Rome, just off Ponte Sisto bridge. An adequate continental breakfast can be taken in your room or outside on the decking area. The rooms are small but very clean and have all you need for a pleasant stay. Reception is not manned 24hours so ensure you read the email providing access instructions.

Lovely stay in Trastevere!

We had a lovely stay in Tree Charme and we couldn't recommend it enough! It is very well located with fabulous views to the river, right in the cute neighbourhood of Trastevere, and just a few minutes walking to the city centre (we literally walked everywhere from there). Room is very comfortable with very high ceilings that I loved, but we could hear some noises in the morning coming from the other rooms when people showered or from the hair drier. But I guess if you're planning to wake up early, it doesn't really matter (it didn't to us). Breakfast was delicious, and best was to have it served in our room :) Staff was really nice and very helpful always, even when we had to leave our bags in the last day before returning home, they were very accomodating! Would definetely come back!

Appartement magnifique, emplacement au top Vraiment génial Seulement un petit soucis: l'eau chaude. Nous étions 5, et après 2 douches, il nous a fallut attendre 2h de temps pour avoir de l'eau chaude nouveau.

Muito bem localizado, ótimo café da manhã. Excelente atendimento. Como sugestão, uma chaleira para esquentar água no quarto seria muito legal....para um cházinho a noite...

Appartement très bien situé par contre très mal isolé Bonnes literies, les salles de bain sont minuscules et peu pratiques mais pour le temps qu’on reste à l’intérieur c’est tout à fait correct . Il faudrait penser à changer le canapé il est tout taché c’est pas très accueillant

Parfaitement situé au carrefour de la vieille ville et du quartier de Trastevere . Le petit-déjeuner est parfait.

Quarto aconchegante bem decorado e muito limpo! Banheiro pequeno, com bom chuveiro! Localização boa perto de vários restaurantes e bares ! Por ser numa região de vida noturna ativa e na avenida um pouco barulhento, mas nada que impeça uma boa noite de sono ! Café da manhã bom! Funcionários gentis e sempre dispostos a ajudar! O que poderia ser melhor, janelas a prova de ruído! E o local do café da manhã com fechamento em janelas de vidro! Ficaria mais quentinho no inverno, podendo deixar aberto no verão!

Sehr gute Lage und sehr charmant

Die Lage an der Ponte Sisto ist perfekt. Das ist ein sehr charmantes Haus mit charmanten Zimmern und zuvorkommendeM Service. Das Frühstück ist für Rom sehr gut. Man darf kein ruhiges Hitel erwarten, wenn man in dieser Lage bucht. Es ist eben eine sehr belebte Nachbarschaft. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Kleines Hotel in perfekter Ausgangslage

Das Hotel liegt direkt am Tiber und dem Ponte il Sisto. Die Buslinie 280 hält direkt am Hotel. Ein Taxistand befindet sich davor. Es handelt sich um ein normales Wohnhaus in dem sich im ersten Stockwerk die Hotelzimmer befinden. Geht man über den Ponte il Sisto kommt man in direkt in die touristischen Bereiche Roms. Alles ist in ca. 30 Minuten Fußweg erreichbar (Colloseum, Trevibrunnen, Spanische Treppe, Piazza del Popolo, Vatikan). Nach einem langen Stadttag kann man sich duschen und dann direkt neben dem Hotel in das Trestevere-Viertel eintauchen. Dort brandet das kulinarische Leben Roms. Die Lage des Hotels an der Straße ist sehr laut, aber die Fenster dichten komplett ab und es gibt eine Klimaanlage. Somit steht einem guten Schlaf nichts entgegen. Im Garten gibt es ein Frühstück, was eigentlich nichts zu wünschen übrig lässt. Nur das es dieses erst ab 8 Uhr gibt ist für Rom fast etwas spät, weil man zu vielen Führungen schon früher aufbrechen muss. Der Service war sehr nett und hilfsbereich. Wir würden wieder buchen.

Sentralt og bra hotell

Hotellet ligger veldig sentralt til for de som velger å bo i Traste Evere. Mye liv rett utenfor døren men rommet var helt lydisolert og med installert aircondition. Enkel frokost. Vi vil benytte dette hotellet neste gang vi reiser til Roma.

Bastante bien en general las encargadas del hotel están pendientes del huésped y te ayudan en todo lo que necesites, lo único en donde tienen que mejorar es en aislar las habitaciones se escucha todo de la habitación de al lado

Great service, clean room, perfect location, but a lot of noise from the street. We had a room next to the reception and woke up 8 AM every morning because of people talking just outside the room. Breakfast was OK. I would stay here again, but ask for a room on 1st floor.

Perfect location and great service

Vi hadde et veldig fint opphold. Service, beliggenhet og standard på rommet er veldig bra i forhold til prisen. Det eneste vi har å utsette er at det var endel støy fra gaten og at rommet lå ved siden av resepsjonen så vi våknet lett tidlig på morgenen. Jeg ville spurt om det rom mot bakgaten bort fra resepsjonen neste gang. Kommer gjerne tilbake om dette ønske oppfylles.

Heel knus en klein hotel. Je loopt zo het oude centrum in en je staat meteen in trastevere waar je perfect kunt eten en drinken. Kortom super hotel op een perfecte plaats.

Schönes Hotel mit sehr guter Lage

Das Hotel liegt direkt am Tiber im schönsten Viertel Roms. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Muy bien ubicado en plena entrada a zona de Trastévere. Impecable habitación algo pequeña pero bellamente decorada, y totalmente remodelada. Aire acondicionado. Caja fuerte, minibar. Buen desayuno. Personal atento. Aunque hotel tiene lobby no hay personal las 24 horas, te dejan llaves del edificio, de habitación y un código de intercomunicador para acceder independientemente a tu habitación. No recomendado para quien lleve equipaje pesado, pues hay que subir escaleras para tomar ascensor reducido y antiguo. por lo demás, excelente.

God oplevelse. Vil tage derned igen. Årstiden (december) var god, men vi var meget heldige med vejret. Hotellet lige tilpas i kvalitet.

God service og placering!

Hoellet ligger rigtigt godt placeret i forhold centrum og madoplevelser. Det er i gåafstand til alt og der findes et hav af gode restauranter i området ved hotellet. Så placeringen af hotellet 5-stjerne, men selve hotellet vil jeg give 3-4 stjerne. 4-stjerne for deres service og venlighed, men 3-stjerne da det er meget lydt - der er 5 værelser på hotellet og ligger på samme etage. Receptionen og morgenmaden ligger lige uden for døren, så der er en del støj fra morgenstunden af. Så medbring ørepropper! Men kan man sove den slags rumsteringer, så er placering af hotellet helt fantastisk.

Ideale per godersi l'atmosfera di Trastevere

L'hotel è praticamente in piazza trilussa, ideale per godersi Trastevere. Nonostante la piazza sia animata, la camera era silenziosa, arredata con gusto e pulitissima. Comode anche le modalità di accesso/rientri fuori orario reception.

B and B bien situé mais bruyant.

Ce B and B est bien placé pour se déplacer dans Rome mais malheureusement la chambre N° 1 est située juste au dessus d'une station de taxi avec des chauffeurs qui discutent bruyamment tout le temps, et la nuit c'est très désagréable. Ne surtout pas espérer dormir avec la fenêtre entrouverte. A part ça le personnel (présent à temps partiel) essaie de vous rendre service selon vos demandes

4 jours Hotel super... Equipe charmante et dans un quartier très très sympa!!!! et qui bouge....... D' ou le côté un peu bruyant.... Proche de tout et â 5 minutes du centre de Rome

Perfekt beläget litet b&b i Trastevere. Allt du kan önska dig. Charmigt och väldigt vänlig atmosfär. Fick låna cyklar av ägare en morgon och cyklade längs Tibern, underbart sätt att starta dagen på.

Et godt valg!

Supert hotell. Beliggenheten er perfekt - gåavstand til alt. Hotellet har bare fem rom og alle ligger i høy første etasje. Resepsjonen er bare betjent fra morgenen til ca kl to på ettermiddagen, men man får nøkkel til både hotellet og rommet så det er bare å komme og gå når man vil. Nesten som en egen leilighet. Rommene er romslige, men merk at det kan være litt støy fra gaten om natten. Sover man litt urolig og våkner lett er det lurt å velge et annet hotell. Det er safe og kjøleskap på rommene. De ansatte er veldig hjelpsomme og trivelige. Frokosten serveres mellom 8-10 på terrassen utenfor. Superhyggelig! Ikke det store utvalget, men en trivelig mann som lager egg på bestillling og kaffe. God start på dagen! Vil anbefale hotellet, og har selv lyst til å bo der neste gang jeg er i Roma.

Trevligt litet hotell

Jag var där tillsammans med min mamma och min ettåriga son. Personalen var väldigt trevlig och hjälpsam och det var ett riktigt bra hotell för det priset. Rummet var fint men ganska litet och det var väldigt lyhört men i övrigt ett väldigt mysigt hotell i Roms trevligaste restaurangområde.
