Nice place to stay but single beds did seem smaller than normal, also food menu is a bit limited. Overall good value for money
Good Stay
We had a great stay at the Nui Loom - staff were friendly and the hotel was clean and tidy. Only criticism is that the shower door leaked and our room was cleaned once during our 3 night stay. Close to transport links into city centre and parking availability is certainly a positive too
Great stay, perfect for sightseeing in Manchester
We've had a great stay at Nui Loom, it's clean, tidy and staff are very friendly. It's only a short metro ride away from the city centre, making it the perfect cost friendly hotel with car parking for sightseeing in the city! Only criticism is our room didn't get cleaned in the 3 nights we stopped here, the shower door leaked into the bathroom and also the £15 breakfast fee each is quite expensive for what it is. Apart from these points we would happily stop here again.
The hotel decor was modern and it was clean. Breakfast was good with lots of fruit. I would prefer fresh eggs though.
Easy to get to and parking very good
A lovely quirky hotel, but sadly let down by a few things. To start with when I got to my room it felt like a furnace and the heating/aircon control was locked. I had to get someone from reception to unlock it so I could cool the room, only for it to lock again, meaning that by the morning it was freezing. The shower seemed to have two settings: off, or so unbelievably scolding hot it could hard boil an egg in three minutes. Ended up washing over the sink as I had a wet room. The hotel also has this strange policy of only using single duvets, even with double beds, so there's no hogging the duvet. As a larger built person I was glad I noticed this in an email as I bought my own double duvet from home. All in all I really wanted to love this hotel as all the other facilities were great, but I can't say I did for the reasons above, and probably wouldn't stay there again.
Pleasant stay let down a little bit by quality of breakfast
Excellent
Welcoming reception staff. Hotel newly built with plenty of parking spaces at a reduced price for hotel guests.
We booked this hotel as the reviews were good however there were numerous issues upon arriving at our room. The towels in the bathroom were folded up and as I had a shower I unfolded them. What dropped out of one was a Viagra jelly packet. Clearly the cleaners hadn’t looked or changed the towels. The shower temperature was great to start however it started to heat up to scolding every 30 seconds. We told reception and received a free drink for Viagra-gate and was told an engineer would check the shower. Upon return, after a concert at midnight when we checked, the lad on reception could not confirm if the shower had been looked at. He suggested we move however at gone 12am this was not an option as we wanted to go to bed. I don’t think this hotel is worth the money as it’s not cheap per night, although the staff tried their best.
Amazing value hotel! Staff were very kind and did so much for us on our special day to make it memorable for us.

Great little find in Manchester!
We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel given it's a 3 star hotel.... Yes the rooms are slightly on the small side, but the rooms and bathroom are very clean, we heard nothing from the rooms either side and the TV is a great size! We can't comment on the breakfast as we didn't opt for that but the coffee and tea is complimentary so took a lovely fresh brew for the ride home. Uber was cheap enough to get to the city centre and the journey was only about 10mins. Overall it is a great little find with plenty of parking which is cheap enough at £10 for 24 hours... Would definitely recommend for short stays
Great location, 5 minute walk to a tram station and only one stop away from the city centre, helpful staff and clean nice rooms
So clean and comfortable. Great location for tram
YOU GET NOTHING!!
£152 AND NOTHING! Not even a glass in the room. No kettle. No teabags. No coffee. No snacks at all. NOTHING! NADA! I asked why and they said some customers prefer having to leave their room and come downstairs and get a complementary tea or coffee from reception!! I imagine some customers also like cold showers. Perhaps they will dispense with the hot water too! And the room was cold and the heating control was broken. No heat. Room was very clean with decent TV and beds.
The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Nice room. Comfy bed. Easy to get the Etihad. Would recommend.
Very nice.
Not what i expected when i got there The images do not match up with what you get Customer service needs to do better.
Good value
Good hotel with good staff. Reasonably priced too.
.
Enjoyable stay. Only thing that appeared to be missing was a bath mat/towel
Pleasing
Lovely
I enjoyed my stay. I booked 2 nights and I was greeted by a very friendly staff member who was very helpful and managed to get me sorted for my complimentary parking because I am an IHG memeber. The room was smaller than I expected but a lovely clean room. There was no space for my suitcase so I put it in the corner which was still ok. There is no kettle for tea and coffee in the room but there's a coffee machine downstairs where guest can have complimentary hot drinks at any time. I would have love to have complimentary bottles of water in the room at least. The room was clean and the bathroom so luxurious. I love that there Internet was easy to connect to and free. The bed was comfortable and there were 2 single duvets on the bed. I would have preferred a double duvet.
Had an amazing stay, from being greeted by the staff all the way until checkout. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. The complimentary hot drinks station was a lovely touch, which is available all day. The bar is great and very reasonably priced with all kinds of drinks and snacks. The location of this hotel is excellent, only a 10 minute drive into the city centre. There’s not a bad word I could say about our stay, we would definitely return. P.S please could you tell me what kind of mattress is on the beds? (On the hunt for a new one and it was super comfy).
Very nice hotel, lovely breakfast
A short walk to the nearest metro station, very convenient location. Clean and lovely room. Staff on reception were friendly and helpful.
Very enjoyable stay, staff amazing, hotel lovely
Good night sleep in clean room.
Great staff
Charge £10 for parking every 24 hour
Convenient for travel into city, staff exceptional- always friendly and polite.
Friendly place
Hotel was great for our short stay in Manchester. The front desk was friendly and very helpful when asked questions. Easy checkin and check out. Breakfast is very simple so it worked for our quick visit.
So happy
Stayed at this property over the weekend and it was lovely. The staff was great, the food was nice and it wasnt far from the things we wanted to do. We would definetly recommend and we would visit again.
Fabulous hotel and stay. Great distance from tram to centre. Will def stay again. Staff were really friendly and helpful too!
Great place to stay
I thought the receptionist initially was very friendly and extremely helpful recognition should be made as him alone would make me consider staying here again
We had a very comfortable stay for two nights. We were made very welcome and the parking was excellent. The free tea and coffee in the reception area was fine. All the facilities in the room were fresh and attractive. The bed was comfortable and the two single duvets a welcome feature. The hotel is near a large retail park, rather than in the city centre, but it seemed easy enough to get there by public transport. Even though our room was beside a reasonably busy road we didn’t notice the traffic noise at night and slept well.
Friendly staff, comfortable rooms and great breakfast.
Hotel is really nice
Good value, clean & comfortable room, good breakfast, big car park & really handy for the tram.
Easy access to city centre
Very good stay, excellent access to city centre vis tram. Short walk to tram stop and one stop from victoria. Clean hotel with firendly staff. Breakfast was good with a good choice
Good hotel
Hotel was fine, clean, good staff. Just stayed one night to go to see Peter Kay. The only things I can pick them up on was had double bed with two single duvets? Also no tea and coffee making facilities in room.
staff was very helpful and polite and the breakfast was 1st class.
We arrived too early to check in so left luggage and checked in very late evening. The room had a plug in radiator left on and was like a sauna. We turned on the air con but this did not lower the temperature. We opened the window but this made little difference and resulted in loud road noise. This was a shame as the hotel, staff and location are all very good.
The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. The property had great security and the vibe of the hotel was amazing. A fun welcoming atmosphere that was an amazing addition to the trip!
Great stay - will be back I'm sure
Very nice hotel 10 mins drive from the Co Op live . Parking on site for £10 and a dining and bar area open till 1am . Rooms were nice everything you need close to the city . Staff were all very lovely too .
Absolutely loved this hotel it was lovely and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful- thank u for a lovely stay I will be back
Absolute lovely staff super helpful, cheerful and sweet. Breakfast was lovely, room was clean and comfy loved the ability to chromecast to the TV overal absolutely lovely stay will be coming back for future concerts at the Co-op live
Great convenient spot, only a few minutes drive away from city center. Clean room with a comfortable bed and brilliant helpful staff.
Great place to stay, super convenient to the city. Common bar/eating atea had a good vibe
Double paid
Took 2 payments and then the reception manager was rude when trying to.sort it out
Great stay
Great stay. Very friendly staff and check in was fast and easy. Breakfast was amazing, so much choice
Staff very friendly and helpful
convenient for what i needed
Decent hotel
Nice hotel, single beds are really narrow
Staff exceptional customer service, dining options and very responsive to any needs you have
Brilliant
Another great stay at this hotel. Our go to hotel when visiting either Co-op Live or AO arena. Friendly staff. Can’t do enough to help and the lovely receptionist even remembers us now !! Breakfast was great with plenty of choice. Thank you again till next time.
It was very god and I left a suitcase behind but your staff were very kind and fixed a label to it so fedex could collect 👍👍👍
Excellent customer service
The cleanliness of the hotel and the staff in the hotel were so helpful, please pass onto your management the fact that Duncan who greeted us on reception was exceptional and went above and beyond helpful , It was the night of Keane Concert at coop and he was unflustered, so helpful and gave everyone so much info on how to get there and get back , nothing was too much trouble at all, a credit to the company
Niu loom, good room
Room decent sized and clean. Breakfast was great and the staff were helpful. All in all a nice stay.
Excellent customer service
Decent hotel, very clean, friendly staff but room was on the small size! I stayed a Saturday night and was woken a few times as noisy guests retuned to their rooms.
Not the best
It was very poor the tv channels don’t work I booked a room with double bed wen I got there they could only give me a room with a single bed no brewing equipment for nearly £200 it was definitely not worth it
Recommend
The only downside was the duvet. 2 single duvets on a double bed. Service, location and price were spot on. Just a tram away from the centre.
Great stay. Lovely service at breakfast and able to get room on ground floor. Good location and accessible for us to get to Arena and night life via Uber. Room was nicely decorated but beds moved and lighting was dim which made getting ready a bit tricky in the evening.Would have been even better if parking was free. We would stay again. Thank you
Reported that someone had spilt coffee in the lift-it was cleaned immediately. Room was spotless. All staff friendly and polite would recommend to everyone. Will return if staying in Manchester.
Very good budget hotel.
The hotel is a basic, modern, budget hotel, but from my experience it is clean, and has all the basic necessities on site and in rooms required for a short stay. If that is understood when booking, customers should not be disappointed with this hotel. My room was functional, but it was clean, comfortable and had a reasonable amount of space for me, although guests staying longer, or those with luggage may consider rooms to be on the small side. The bathroom was also clean. Although small, it was designed well to make best use of the space and the shower was good. Although the exterior is plain, and the surrounding area a bit drab, the location is very convenient for reaching the city centre by tram (station is less than 5 minutes walk away) or by car. During my stay the service was excellent from checking in to departure, staff were all very friendly and professional. I didn’t use the restaurant, which did look a little small as some other guests have mentioned, so I can’t comment on food quality, but the bar area is decent, and drinks are reasonably priced. No tea and coffee making facilities in rooms has also been commented on by others, and this may be a problem for some people as it is inconvenient, particularly in the mornings, but during my stay this was the only real negative for me. Overall I thought the hotel was good value and enjoyed my stay. I would happily stay again.
Steps from the Queen Street Metrolink station. One stop to Victoria Station. Great breakfast.
Was clean nice & cofortable.
I booked this for family for an event. They enjoyed their stay. But would have preferred their kettle and hot water in the room.
Nice clean hotel with lovely staff
Great hotel, close to Bury tramline. 20 mins from city centre one way and 30 mins to Bury which has a great free art gallery and open air market. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.
First time in Manchester so was abit nervous but the hotel was great and I will definitely be going again next time.
Nice clean hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Food for breakfast selection was plenty and to a good standard.
Amazing
Lovely Hotel
Nice, restful stay. Generally clean, good service. Parking could be free, though.
Hotel clean and friendly. However the shower was cold, and the beds are too hard.
avoid
Not a very nice place to stay
Great experience
The staff were very welcoming and helpful, the room was very clean and I would very much come back for another stay in the future
One issue when we checked in which was quickly fixed, staff were amazing & couldn’t do enough for us.
Very good value for money and the staff were so nice, helpful and friendly. Very close to the team so makes it really easy to get in to the city Would definitely stay there again
It was a short stay but I have nothing bad to say!
Nice warm welcome on arrival. Great room, clean / very well presented. Nice breakfast. Disappointed the car parking was an extra £10. I feel this is part of the facilities offered by the hotel and shouldn't be charged. It feels like it is seen as an easy revenue stream. Overall very happy otherwise.
don’t stay here very poor
No double rooms on check in no apologies very poor rude staff don’t stay here
No double bed on checking in only offered a single after i booked a double
Though I’d asked for free parking, when I booked, I was told they charged £10 per night. But, there was a free car park on the other side of their car park. They could have offered fresh fruit for breakfast instead of tinned peaches and a berry mixture. They also offered salad items and bakery food plus different milk and a fried breakfast. Also, different cereals and Greek yogurt. The TV, in my room, felt like it needed to be retuned or a new one put in its place as the TV channels, which I watch, were on different Freeview numbers to my TV at home and some of them weren’t there. It was only a short walk to either Queens Road metro link or Manchester Fort shopping centre. To the city centre, it’s only one stop on the tram or about half an hour’s walk. There is a newsagent nearby, but it doesn’t sell everything. About a five minute drive away is Asda with Lidl being next door to it and a market with a few other shops. If you need to use a sat nav for the hotel, put in the newsagent’s postcode. As I put in the hotel’s postcode, as I’d never been there before, and it took me to an industrial estate.
The hotel was convenient for the purpose of my trip and it has parking. I would recommend it to all
Lovely hotel with a parking facility. This is rare in Manchester. Helpful staff. Clean hotel. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.
Great location for a visit to Manchester city centre. Staff were very welcoming. Nice rooms lovely large powerful shower in bathroom. Bed was a bit hard for me but that's personal preference not a criticism! Didn't have breakfast as we were booked to be out but it looked nice and seemed popular!
Excellent staff, clean room & facilities.
Stayed last month and charged £5 for parking. Told it had gone up to £10 because not a member even though clearly states outside discounted for hotel guests.
Staff and reception were super friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean and contemporary. Facilities in the lobby were very good e.g. snooker table, bar, breakfast items, coffee machine, juices. Hotel is within walking distance to shops. Would recommend staying here again.
Breakfast options have changed from inclusive to paid.
Just a great hotel
Hotel was very clean and staff good however was not allowed dogs in the dining space which was a problem for us. Dog friendly usually caters for dog owners with a specified area for eating and drinking. As it was not table service and very informal I thought dogs would be allowed
I came from Canada to watch the united game. I was worried about the bed lol, but honestly the bed is comfortable clean room friendly staff most definitely if I’m in Manchester will be staying again

Coffee/tea in room would have been nice, but was provided down stairs
