Wonderful property with execellent dining.
The Adolphus is a beautiful property, great location, and has friendly service. The only reason I gave a 4 star instead of excellent was the bed and pillows didn’t seem as comfortable compared to other properties.
We enjoyed our stay and the staff was fantastic!
10/10 only thing I didn’t like was the TV was too small in the rooms! Need bigger tv! Besides that perfect hotel just amazing
A Gem
The Adophus may be my favorite hotel ever. This is an old-world-made-current, one of a kind, gem of place. Five stars through and nearly through. My only caveat is that the hotel spa is not particularly impressive; not up to the grand experience of the rest of the hotel. A stay at the Afolphus is very expensive and worth it. I can't imagine staying at any other place in Dallas.
The Marriott Autograph collection of hotels NEVER fails!! All of the properties we’ve stayed at have been first class!! Clean. Well appointed. Beautiful decor. Friendly staff. 5* all day long!!!
We are given a room with a walk in shower, with a short shower curtain,so the water gets in the the tiled floor when you shower that does not dry up easily even if you put a towel around it.It is a big fall hazard.Otherwise, the staff were great and the service excellent!
Rooms were nice and clean. Breakfast was tasty. Staff was nice. Hotel is centrally located near all of the main attractions in downtown Dallas.
Beautiful place to stay
Dallas trip
Incredible historic hotel! Staff was amazing and the room was perfect.
Great location
We visited during a busy time of the year. The hvac didn’t work.
This hotel proved to be an excellent choice. Adorned with festive holiday decorations and a stunning Christmas tree, created a joyful ambiance. The room, with its double beds, was comfortable and cozy. Although the bathroom was nice, the sink faucet water pressure was very low and weak. We had a nice view from our room, which looked directly out onto the AT&T Discovery District. The staff's outstanding service and attentiveness ensured a pleasant stay. Guests had access to multiple dining options. The coffee shop's cleanliness and charm were pleasing. The bartenders demonstrated expertise in crafting cocktails. The only drawback was the expensive valet parking, which totaled almost $70 per day. Nevertheless, I would strongly recommend this hotel. This property is Top Tier!
A really grand hotel
Our go to property when in Dallas. Perfect rooms for our family.
The lobby was great; very welcoming. The rooms, however, were subpar. The suite was not a suite - it was a small room. The valet took over 20 minutes.
We love the Adolphus! We’re repeat customers and our stays have all been excellent. The lobby bar has great service and the high tea is a great experience. They go over and above decorating for Christmas.
Fantastic place, excellent food and gorgeous accommodations. Loved the giant Christmas tree and fire. Perfect romantic getaway.
Amazing
Amazing! Love the adolphus. Beautiful lobby, bars, and decorations. We stay every time we come to Dallas.
Many shortcomings in a beautiful building. Check-in staff super cheerful, but our person was very difficult to understand and not especially competent in finding the kind of room we booked. She and others said the room I booked does not necessarily look like the pictures of it online, as if I should have known that. Exec King suite was supposed to have a couch, but they didn't give one. Breakfast restaurant host was gabbing on phone and rude. They advertise local car service, but after making us wait ten minutes told me their single car for that purpose had warning lights and was unusable. Housekeeping didn't come, so no coffee this morning. No tea in the room ever. Never any compensation offered for their deficiencies. It is a beautiful hotel, especially at Xmas.
Been there done that.
Bed was hard. Had a back ache after first morning. $65-$75 was added each night for fees and taxes of all kinds. Room service was VERY expensive. Parking was exorbitant as well.
Body wash and shampoo could use a upgrade
Loved this hotel! So much to do within the hotel itself and very centered.
Beautiful Christmas decorations throughout the hotel lobby. I was disappointed my reservation to have a Chalet on the rooftop was not honored. The cabana we were given instead was super cold. I changed my reservation from 4 to 6:45 because thats the time I was given for a Chalet. I would have kept the 4pm time while the sun was out had I known I would be in the cold air. Crystal was the manager who switched up when I visited the roof on Friday. Shatara, the server assigned to our cabana was wonderful and provided superior service, but she couldn't make up for the cold.
It’s a very nice hotel but we waited for valet 25 minutes and we ended up calling a uber
Towels were scratchy, bed comfortable, a/c worked well.
They were amazing! Considering that hotel has been open since 1912 it looks fantastic! Christmas tree was beautiful. Staff was wonderful! Great visit!
Very attentive staff and extremely welcoming. Room was quiet and clean. Beds very comfortable.
Very enjoyable experience. Will definitely stay there again!
It was a beautiful hotel but service wasn’t good.
Great
Absolutely Mind Blowing
This stay goes down in my list of top 5 favorite hotel stays of all time! The service from the time we valeted our car through the time we checked-out was absolutely unmatched. The holiday decor was mind blowingly magical as well. I plan to make this a yearly holiday staycation now.
The Aldolphus Hotel in Dallas offers a prime location, making it ideal for both leisure and business travelers. The area is vibrant, with plenty of attractions and dining options nearby. The hotel is impressively clean and features elegant decor. Dining options are diverse and delicious. Overall, the Aldolphus is a great choice for a stylish stay in a fantastic area, despite the occasional lack of warmth from the staff.
Good time
It was good
Historical property well apportioned is unique. Location not great many homeless doesn't provide a secure feeling. Valet non-existant as the parking is seperate from the hotel so nobody to take and remove baggage from the room. That is annoying.
I appreciated the variety of food and bar choices, everything from an upscale French restaurant to The Rodeo Bar with live music. It is a BEAUTIFUL building inside and out. The service was spectacular. The computers were down at check out and Jenna and Ryan were a great help.
Very nice stay
Great property
Parking situation was very disorganized.
Really noisy area
10/10 amazing stay.
Enjoyed our stay close to lots of things to do. Very easy to get around and food choices are great.
It was fantastic
This is a wonderful hotel with great public areas.
Adolphus for the win!
Great stay, hotel has everything you need inside but is also close to other dining and shopping. Valet is on point, easy to park and get in and out of. Good gluten free options.
An amazing experience overall!
We love staying here when we go to Dallas as it has a more boutique and unique feel to it. Some updating could be done in some rooms especially; however its charm, service and food outweighs any negative.
Beautiful, caring staff, fabulous food, history
Don’t expect bellman service.
We called the valet 3 times. After over half a hour, Could not get help with all our stuff after a wedding weekend. My crippled husband and I had to slug all our stuff downstairs and then down an escalator. No apologies, no help from front desk when they saw me making Multiple trips down escalator. I have never get so dissatisfied at a hotel of that caliber. We were missing wedding brunch and no one gave a darn.
Beautiful hotel. Staff were pleasant and helpful.
Numerous dining options, library and multiple lounge areas,
Gorgeous property
Staff, services, bars, rooftop pool, Restraunts, and the Historic Aesthetics of the hotel was top notch.. Will refer the Adolphus to anyone staying in the Downtown Dallas area!!
It was amazing! Beautiful hotel with walkingg distance of JFK history, the Big Eye, and many bars and resturants! Room was larger than normal chain hotel room...and pool on rooftop was a nice bonus.
The bathroom could have been updated and surrounding area is downtown and dirty
Very elegant and well staffed with friendly and professional employees. Location is prime.
Very nice room. Close to a lot of things that you can walk too.
Perfect get away
Such a beautiful hotel. Clean, elegant room. Friendly service, loved all the bar options and opportunities to engage with the history of the hotel. Courtesy car was so helpful and ready quickly. Hope we get to stay here again!
Would book again
The rooms are spacious and close to a lot of great places. The inside of the hotel is absolutely beautiful!!
The hotel itself was awesome, unfortunately the area around the hotel is quite dirty with a lot of homeless people walking around. We didn't feel safe walking around as it was getting dark.
The property was great along with everything inside. The surrounding area was filled with homeless people. While they were monitored by security, we still were haggled by them as we walked out and about.
Excellent service. This is a historic hotel but well maintained with all the modern amenities.
Everyone was super nice and accommodating.
Great place to stay! Plenty to do around the area and the staff was amazing.
Absolutely amazing service, tops tier linens, beautiful rooftop bar.
Everything was awesome. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Great 2 nights stay with a delicious breakfast at City Hall Cafe. Room is spacious and the bed is comfortable.
First class stay
First class hotel. Excellent service from all staff. Rooms clean and bed was very comfortable. Definitely recommend!
This hotel is truly a 5 star without a doubt in every way of grading it. Most of all, I need to give all the credit to the kindest and well trained staff. From the moment of arriaval to the last second of departure they are anticipating your every need. Thanh, Jenna and Nigel were all most kind and professinal at what they do. After arival I noticed a small discrepancy in my invoice and called the hotel directly. I spoke to Taryn after second ring and in no time she responded to my concern and handled it with an email reply to me. I can't say enough about her professinal conduct. For the rest, oh my, this historic building alone is worth the visit. Lighting inside and decore is exquisite. We enjoyed BFs in their restaurant and the high tea was another pleasant experience. Our room was clean and the king size bed couldn't be more comfortable. I highly recommend to stay in this hotel for one of a kind pleasant experience which is rare these days. We can't wait to go back for another visit.
Staff was super friendly and helpful
Convenient location
Very Demure, Very Cutesy Stay :)
OBSESSED with this hotel. This trip was for business and I didn't get to explore and enjoy as much as I would have liked, bc of our schedule, but I would definitely return to explore more of this property. We ate dinner at Rodeo Bar, had coffee every morning at Otto's and I purchased some items from the gift shop. Would love to return and explore the new Omakase and the French Room.
This hotel had the greatest reviews and was central to some things we wanted to do. We got checked in and went to our room, there was food or something on the drapes, the windows, you could hardly see out for the dirt. The sofa, was torn and had stains all over it. This was an anniversary trip and we had told them in advance, but nothing was prepared when we arrived, had to make a complaint for this and only then was something done. I wasn’t expecting more, I was just expecting something grand and not dirty and worn in my room especially for what I paid. The positive was the staff, you could not ask for better treatment from the staff. That’s the only reason for a four star review.
Great place to stay
It was a enjoyable stay with very friendly and helpful staff.
The Adolphus is a nice old hotel that has a European feel to it. Our room had been refurbished and was nicely appointed. There were two things that were of concern. One was insects, specifically cockroaches and the other the bathroom sink was not as clean as it could be. The overhang between the countertop and the sink had buildup of redish grime. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
The hotel itself is beautiful. The room we stayed in was average, nothing notable. We got room service the first night and it was some of the worst food we’ve ever had plus with the automatic tip and extra service fees it was insanely overpriced. Maid service the next morning didn’t restock everything. The tv wouldn’t always turn on (would have to unplug and plug it back in). Personally, we would never stay here again. The service/food was extremely disappointing. For the price, it was most certainly not worth it.
Stunning historic property. Rooms nice and worth it. Valet could not be worse. Had to repark 3 times (yes, move my own car into their valet rotation, which I neither knew nor cared to understand) and the pickup was over 45 minutes. So many people waiting it was a sea of people! Clearly don’t know how to run a hotel.
We enjoyed our stay at the Adolphus! They have done a fantastic job of keeping the warmth and history of a historic hotel while adding the comforts and amenities of a modern 5 star hotel. A special shout out to the car service and valet staff for taking great care of us!
I would definitely stay here again. Really great hotel.
I loved the pool at night on the 7th floor. The Lighting around the pool was beautiful. Pool staff very friendly. Also Pedro the bell hop was very nice.
Everything was excellent ....many Kudos to Pedro. He was very kind and helpful. As a senior lady, I very much appreciated his assistance.
Hotel was nice but wouldn't give us our booked and entitled breakfast. Staff was adamant not included but clearly was on our booking. Don't understand why they created such an issue when we clearly had paid for it.
I booked to enjoy a nice quiet staycation. I enjoyed the pool and spa. The pool could use some maintenance. Pool water looked very murky.
Jenna checked me in with ease and early- coming from Houston to flee the hurricane I had no plan. The gentleman Dan gave me a tour of the hotel and was so personable. The mini bar guy was so sweet when coming in my room. This will be my go to hotel everytime I am in Dallas.
Beautiful common areas
Beautiful historic property with good food and a decent rooftop bar. There was black mold outside our room, a leak in the ceiling and the room had a damp smell. But the common areas were lovely and randomly the gift shop was one of the nicest I’ve seen at a hotel.
Nice checking in they are great !
Parking
Everything was amazing the only compliment was parking. $68 a day for parking in there parking is in sane. We parked when we got there and didnt move the car to we checked out. Everything else was awesome. We lovef it
It was great. The rooms were clean and the pool was great. The only comment is that there was a lot of noise from the street.
Great location and car services. Housekeeping under par.
One of the best hotels in DFW! Friendly staff, well accommodated rooms, great restaurants, and valet was fast and efficient! I will be returning!
Beautiful property with an excellent staff!
Beautiful spaces and quiet comfortable rooms.
First time to stay since it was renovated. Very nice! We even got an upgrade because the room we booked was not ready yet. The pool, bar and drinks were fabulous.
When we were unloading from the car, Tim and Roy greeted us with happiness and rushed to get our luggage! They were so attentive and kind! Their welcome made us feel like celebrities! Our entire stay was amazing!
Property was very nice. Only think I can complain about was out room view. You open the curtains and it's just a brick wall. Which is sad because the rest of the hotel has an amazing view. We weren't told that it would be a prison cell view, just given to discover. Otherwise the hotel was like going back in time. We loved. Next time we will make sure we can see freedom
They give you vouchers for breakfast but it’s just not worth it

Gorgeous. Loved our stay!
