The room is spacious and clean. We’re family of 4, all adults and like to stay together in one room which makes it perfect for us. The location is perfect where most of the tourist attraction is within walking distance. The front desk employee was so kind and accommodating. Also give us a good guidance on where to fine authentic Italian restaurants. I highly recommend.
Great. Close to everything
Clean. Comfortable. Good location. Room size could have been larger.
Great location with plenty of shops and dining just a few steps away. Fairly spartan room, but fine for our needs. The water in the room could be hotter for our tastes.
Great location
Amazing location, walking distance to the main sites and lots of restaurants nearby.
This place was great. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Our place was huge with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The only issue is it took forever to get hot water and then it only lasted a few minutes so showers were not great.
Nice little guesthouse in the middle of Rome. Walking distance to everything.
Great area! Shopping & restaurants right outside your door.
Fantastic area. Right outside your door are fantastic restaurants & shops. Once inside your room you don't hear all the noise that is going on outside! Room/bathroom were very clean!
Very good situation. Staff excellent. Clean. Good sized room for four.
Hotel is in a great central location. Clean hotel with friendly staff.
Roma
Great location!
Friendly staff and nice rooms
Passepartout is a simple guesthouse without a lot of in room amenities but it makes up for it with a perfect central location and excellent service. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was very accommodating when i asked for extra pillows and separate duvets. All of central Rome is walkable from this location and there's a small grocery store and breakfast place just in front along with countless bars and restaurants.
This hotel is located on the cutest small Italian street. They offer free breakfast at a place across the street. You really get a local feel of Italy. Rooms are big
The location was great. Lots of cute little shops and cafe’s. Walkable to all the sites, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, and Spanish steps. The room was very cute and spacious. The air condition worked great and bathroom was roomy. Would stay next time I visit Rome.
This place was 10/10. Location fantastic but the best part is the accommodation itself. Large room and great facilities. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Our welcome included an induction from the staff member with a map of the best way to tackle Rome and all the hidden gems. Will only ever stay here when visiting Rome.
We would stay there again. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable. It was clean.
This hotel was perfect for all the big sites in Rome, 20-30 minutes walk to The Vatican
Excellent, recently remodeled private apartment in the center of Rome at a great price (in August).
Great location…
The great parts: the location was just perfect. The staff was great especially Charmaine and Marvin who were very helpful. The not so great parts: the place is a bit dated, but it was okay. The main problem although is not the fault of the host, but there was a lot of construction next to our building that started around 7AM. One night in the apartment above us there was a lot happening at 4:00 AM so getting some sleep was problematic.
Amazing location that you can walk to all sightseeing spots easily. A lot of great restaurants and bars downstairs. The staff are so helpful and friendly! I would recommend this place to everyone
Overall it was lovely, however, it was a small room without a lot of storage space for suitcases, Otherwise, it was clean, tidy and central to most sites.
Perfect location to explore Rome. Fantastic restaurants and shops just outside the door.
Great little street with many shopping dining options.
Very clean which is primary consideration. Great service. Smiling and helpful younger staff; very refreshing to see this and experience their sincere hospitality. Marvin spent time mapping out quick itinerary based on his experience in living there, including marking places on map to focus for day 1 of visit, then day 2 et. Invaluable that he did this for us. I would definitely recommend. FYI - the first impression is bit puzzling as there is no signage. But as we came to understand, this normal for guesthouse in Rome historic area. The positive attributes of the accommodations far outweigh this one observation.
This property was spacious and such a wonderful mix of new and updated in an historic building.
The AC was not working. I thought I was going to die in the room. I had stayed here a week before and I was happy with the junior suite on the 4th floor. But the junior suite on the 3rd floor was horrible. The smell of urine in the room and the non functioning AC during a heat wave was unbearable. I will not stay here again.
The private apartment was wonderful and the location is perfect.
The Perfect Oasis For An August Rome Visit
From the moment we stepped into our room at Passepartout, we were hit with a refreshing wall of cool air. Everything about the room was well designed and perfect for resting from the busy and warm streets of Rome during our August visit. The staff were thoughtful and warm, and we highly recommend staying here when visiting Rome!
Great location. Walkable to Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navoni etc. Supermarket right out the door and many dining options closeby. Perfect apartment for our family of 5 with 3 teenagers!
The area is convenient to look around by walking. There are nice small shops, a great Gelateria and a convenience store next to the hotel. I really liked the interior, the room was clean and enjoyed the small balcony to chill out. The staff are also kind and friendly. We will definitely come back to stay again when we visit Rome.
Perfect!!!
Amazing!!! Great location and room had solid air conditioning and was very big and clean. Near many good tratorria's bars and shops! Also near the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, and Piazza Navona. Daniel who greeted us was the best! Would definitely stay here again!
Great AC. Staff was friendly and accommodating!
Wonderful place to stay in the heart of Rome - just steps to Piazza Navona. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. We had an apartment, which was very spacious with AC in each room. The breakfast is absolutely amazing. It’s right across the street and the quantity and the quality are way more than one could imagine. The place does not look like a hotel from the outside, it is just a regular building and the elevator is very tight. But the apartment was wonderful. I would deffinitely stay there again.
Lovely flat bear Plaza Navina
Lovely flat in Rome, courteously managed and well apportioned.
Loved this place, clean and spacious, not too fancy but just right for a family. walking distance from all major attractions and great eating places on the street that are popular and visited by many tourists. The host Marvin and Charmin both were very welcoming and gave us good inputs on the places to visit, will recommend this place to friends.
The staff were also excellent
Great stay, very friendly and helpful staff
Everything was good with one exception. The floors directly above have no insulation so every footstep is very audible below which can make it very hard to sleep. A solution to this would be white noise machines in the room to somewhat drown out the noise from above. Other than that the stay was wonderful and we will be staying again in the future.
Clean boutique hotel rooms
Very nice location, many restaurants and great atmosphere surrounding the hotel. The hotel itself is is very clandestine. You enter through an old, large, heavy wooden door using a code. There is only a small plaque on the wall indicating the hotel name, very easy to miss, however my teens enjoyed using the “secret entrance”. Management arranged our driver to and from airport for us. Close to the Pantheon, Trevi fountain, Spanish Steps. Room was a little dark but otherwise nice, very clean.
Great location! Room was spacious and clean. Loved the little balcony. Lots of restaurants/cafes/shopping in area. Would stay here again!
Great location for walking to major sightseeing areas, good choice of restaurants and cafes within a few minutes walk. Apartment was very clean, good air conditioning (38 degrees in Rome during our stay) and Marvin on reception was extremely helpful and knowledgeable with recommendations of how to make the best use of our time in Rome. Although we were in a busy area, our apartment on 4th floor was very quiet.
Recently renovated apartment, excellent condition
Great location and staff!
One night stay
Fantastic area with lots of choices of places to eat . Check in and out was quick and easy ! Beds were comfy and the rooms were spacious. Biggest shower we have seen in Italy ! We were able to leave our luggage when we arrived early and able to store it after check out ! The host gave us great suggestions of where to eat and get Gelato. Service was awesome ! Highly recommend!
Great central place to stay. Few minute walk away from most of the attractions in Rome. Staff is very kind and understanding. Thank you for your hospitality!
Had a wonderful stay and would definitely return. 2 rooms for us and our three teenage sons. One had a nice balcony for two. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff (especially Marvin) all kind, friendly and helpful. There are many stairs so would not bring my elderly parents. Ask staff to help book a car from airport as taxi lines are long. Great area. Walkable to all sites. Most of our meals were a few minutes from the hotel. Carrefour express two doors down. Glad we added breakfast to our stay. Some delicious suggestions: Two sized tiramisu Frigidarium Pizzeria da Baffeto Molly’s Garden Cafe Fattoincasa by hosteria la danesina Mastrociccia - Osteria Bistrot Chegelato Gelataria
We stayed for 3 nights while visiting Rome and really loved the place. The location is so central, right by Plaza Navona. Short walk to Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Spanish steps, and nice shopping area. Room is spacious in European standard, clean, and beds are comfortable. The front desk staff Marven is very helpful; he pointed us to a few eating places which are all excellent and inexpensive. We are very pleasantly surprised by how good the breakfast is, which is included in our stay. The breakfast is in Molly Cafe across the street from the hotel; big portion and delicious. It also helps that one of the best Gelato shops (Frigedrium) ) and Tiramisu places ( two sizes) in Rome are within 100 ft from the hotel! We will definitely try to book the same hotel next time when visiting Rome.
Great location! Room was quiet and comfortable, but then you step outside and you find yourself on a charming cobbled street with cafes, shops and some of the best pizza and carbonara. You can also walk everywhere. Close and walkable to all the must-see sites and the Vatican. My only complaint was that I wish the hotel would have warned us that there was going to be national taxi strike. We barely made our train! Otherwise, we would definitely stay here again.
The overall feel was fantastic. My only complaint is the stairs.
Located right in the heart of everything. Staff was friendly and helpful. Quick to respond to messages. Will stay here again next time I'm in Rome
Very clean, central location. Not whole building, just one floor and there were building works in the entrance hall and above the room starting in the morning. Sound proofing not great. Elevator is on half floors.
A lovely apartment in a great location we really enjoyed our break at Passepartout
Great hotel in a busy area with lots of stores and restaurants. Very friendly and helpful staff. We really enjoyed our stay
Location!
Excellent location easy for you to walk to anywhere in Rome! Great service from Marvin, the front desk manager. He was always helpful. Only one complaint was the big noise from upper floor unit that impacted our sleep time.
Good apartment in a good area. Spacious and updated / remodeled. A lot of restaurants and shops are around the apartment. You can walk to Piazza Navona in less than 5 minutes.
We had a wonderful stay. The location could not be better and our room was spacious and comfortable.
Two bedroom and 2 baths, with a kitchenette. My wife and I enjoyed one big bedroom, and our college age kids shared the other. Hotel is right next to several shops and restaurants, and only five minutes from the taxi stand. 10 minute walk to the Pantheon and 10 mins from Piazza Navona. Stayed 3 nights in mid January and loved it! Great value!
Nice little place, perhaps a touch frayed on the edges, but the location is terrific and the front desk staff were very helpful. Room was older but in a classy way — including an out of tune piano. Great neighborhood, lively and busy.
Absolutely perfect for our city break.
Perfect location for all the tourist activity Rome has to offer and restaurants on the street were perfect for breakfast lunch and dinner. Marvin greeted us on arrival, very friendly and very happy to give us some advice on where to go visit, eat etc. Highly recommend this place.
Lovely stay in Centre of Rome
Excellent new hotel central in Rome. Highly recommended and great service by front desk
Great experience! Marvin who checked us in gave us some great tips on the area. Perfect location, lots around it, but inside it’s very quiet and peaceful - we didn’t hear any street noise from the outside. We stayed in the condo and it was a perfect set up for our family, but could also work very well for two couples - both bedrooms have en suite baths. Great stay, would definitely recommend.
Apartment was large modern and clean. Service was excellent
Fab location
We stayed in a family room, with an enormous emperor bed and then a single sofa bed, which would have been a lot more comfortable as an actual bed and then a separate sofa...there was plenty of space in the room. The room was very clean and modern but would have benefitted from some storage, there was a single small cupboard and about 8 coat hangers, simple not enough for 3 people and we ended up living out of our suitcases. The room was serviced every day and kept incredibly clean. The bathroom was spacious and the shower was powerful with plenty of hot water. There was also complimentary shower gel and shampoo. The location is superb with plenty of cafes, restaurants and places to visit within walking distance. There is a shop next door which is convenient but also an inconvenience when noisy deliveries arrive day and night. Communication with Daniel was very good and he provided easy directions on how to access the building after the reception had closed.
Very clean and excellent location
Location of the place is amazing. Close to everything. Restaurants around the area were delicious. Very clean hotel and friendly staff
The property is centrally located and the atmosphere in the evening is exceptional. The hotel manager (Marvin) provided exceptional services. He waited for us as our flight from Rome was delayed. He was very helpful in providing suggestions for sightseeing and where to eat. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone coming to Rome.
Front desk staff extremely helpful and professional.
Couldn’t have Been in a better location if we tried!!
Great location and staff
Our stay at this location was great! The neighborhood was adorable and all the major sites are very walkable. The staff was very friendly and always quick to respond for any questions or assistance needed. The room was spacious and had all the essentials we needed. The only concerns we had were that the WiFi was spotty at best and that since the neighborhood is lively, and we had a room facing the street, it did stay noisy, even overnight. Most nights we were so tired we slept through it, but the ones we were light sleepers it was busy most of the night with people or workers. Despite this I would stay at this location again and would recommend to anyone.
Great location, great service, great experience!
The service was excellent and the room was clean and comfortable! They were able to hold our bags until our room was ready to check in and they also provided us a complimentary bottle of wine and water in our fridge! We loved the balcony views and would definitely stay again!
Kind staff, clean, comfortable bed, new fixtures, great location!
Great Location!!
Perfect location- very centralized to all the sites! Next to the best gelato (literally-line starts early), great food, and good vibe. The room was clean and comfortable for the 4 of us! Martin was a delight upon check-in and continued to answer questions for us, when needed. Would stay here again!!
Very conveniently centrally located on the 64 bus route from Rome Termini. The room was very clean, tastefully decorated in a modern but simple style. The bathroom was a great size and spotlessly clean. I would highly recommend. As with many of these apartment buildings there are many stairs although there is a lift to every other floor. I would happy stay there again and recommend.
