Goodbut loud kids

Perfect hotel for family. Best all inclusive we’ve ever stayed at. Great food, wonderful staff, perfect activities and location!

Kids,kids running everywhere/ when getting food at restaurants- hold your plates tight as parents don’t care. Kids yelling at the beach all day…. Not a place to relax

Let’s start with the good stuff : - the food is excellent, in quality and variety, especially the buffet. - the staff are very nice, friendly and professional. Special thanks to the people working in restaurants and the animation team. Small issue was with the house keeping which do our room a bit late (usually after 3pm), probably short stuffed, not the ones to blame. What I didn’t like about the hotel: - the hotel provides you with a water carafe which you have to fill each time from a common water dispenser and it’s terribly slow so at night times you have to do the line. If you wake up in the middle of the night thirsty then it’s an issue. It’s good to be eco conscious but making money out of that by selling a small reusable « plastic » bottle for 4.90 doesn’t seem so ethical. Walking around the hotel you can see that everyone has it. - we booked a premium room which has nothing premium but a convertible couch which is non confortable at all. -at the check-in we have been told that there is a nice rooftop pool with an amazing view but we found out when we were heading up there that you need to pay extra fees (star prestige or something) to get access to some parts of the hotel including that. Ps: when I pay for an all inclusive, I expect to have 3 meals per day, if the check-in is at 3 and the check-out is at 11 then you can’t have that.

Nice looking property. Great food in most places. Mexica restaurant was confusing, served something but not Mexican food and served so little of it that we followed up with a visit to the buffet The resort has no ambiance or character. Entertainment staff show no personality. Learn from your Mexican, Dominican and Jamaican properties. They are fun. By day two, Starfriends know my kids by name. This place feels like no one really wants to be there: clock in, go through the motions, clock out. I have not even met the star friends here - no idea who they were. People serving food (especially the gentleman grilling meats in the buffet by the beach) should work on keeping their attitudes under control - I don’t need their snarky comments. Overall a good experience but nothing to write home about…

Highly recommend! Loved our stay!

We spent a lovely long weekend at Iberostar Selection Albufera Playa. ROOM: We booked a shared pool room but didn’t get what we paid for (the room was near the shared pool but not in front of it which isn’t the same experience) so we asked to change and the reception team was very quick to offer a better room with a balcony which was great! POOLS: there’s a few pools spread around the resort, all great for different moments of the day. Our 3 year old daughter had a blast on the Kids pools with slides and mini disco at the end of the day. FOOD: The food was really good, the buffets had such a great variety - lots of fruits, salads, vegetables, deserts, and many different main options: paella, meat, any thing you would want. We tried the 3 restaurants: Greek and Mexican were very nice! The Spanish one was recommended to be the best one, but although the setting of siting outside under trees listening to great live music, the food was disappointing. Drinks in general were great, lots of options behind the bars at all times. ENTERTAINMENT: the entertainment was such a great surprise! There’s lots of activities throughout the day for all ages; in the evening there’s also a show/presentation (band playing 80s, a group of dancers performing songs from Adam’s Family, rock band)

We loved everything about this all inclusive resort. The food, the property grounds, the beach, but the main star of this resort is THE STAFF.. THANK YOU!! we had the best of the best here. We should be back. Last but not least, please change the outdated television in the rooms.!! No smart TV is not acceptable these days. See you guys soon

Family Trip

Hotel was nice but the food situation was not great. There were restaurants but we were unable to get reservations as they were full the entire time we were there (4 nights) so we were forced to eat the buffet for every meal which was ok for 1 or 2 meals but not 3 meals a day for 4 days.

Overall fantastic experience. We have stayed in multiple locations such as Dubai, Turkey and USA. In terms of value for money this was by far the best. The food was very tasty and lots of healthy options. The room and 24hr cafe was great too. Very clean and modern. Even the private beach was perfect as not to many people and its not to much of a walk from the hotel. I will be staying here again in future. One slide downside would be gym could be made bigger and the spa is not that great.

Wonderful

Second time at a Iberostar. It is a great place. All workers there are helpful, seem happy and work well together. You must treat them well. Very comfortable. I would come again. So relaxing. Food was good. But here are some comments - room was a little small. No room for 2 suitcases. We had to use the desk. No waste paper basket in main room ( one could fit under the bedside table.) Because of structure of desk we cold not stow things under desk. Perhaps more shelves, or hooks. - we wanted to explore the island but you had little info about it. The one person there could sell us a boat trip but we would have to take city bus to next town! We went walking outside and found a travel agent not related to your hotel. We could get a bus there for tour of caves ( and other places if we wanted) We did this …it made us enjoy our time at Iberostar even more being able to do this. Consider more help in tours - I was on roof with star prestige. Lovely but often all chairs were occupied with towels /possessions being saved. Perhaps a notice not to do this so all could enjoy

Good location friendly staff 😊😊😊😊

The walls are so thin we could hear everything the family next to us was saying. We could even hear their footsteps. (Im sure they could hear us too). Also the tv didnt work.

I love the area the beach in front of the hotel the people that works there the food and the night shows. overall is a great place to stay.

Lovely stay in Mallorca, the location is nice and secluded. Depending on your meal plan, you might not enjoy all restaurants on property, you might also have to pay extra for any snacks. There is plenty of entertainment and the whole staff is really nice.

Friendly staff. Nice beach. At the time unfortunately the indoor pool and jacuzzi was unavailable due to renovation. Entertainment available everyday in the evenings and was enjoyable for everyone.

My son enjoyed the mini club and mini disco. The last night show is not that good

This hotel was utterly fabulous. The rooms are nice and spacious - a clean look with all the necessary amenities and a nice balcony overlooking the resort (sometimes with a sea view if this is what you book). The pool area is large overall, as there are three distinct pools of different depths. Located next to the Iberoatar Albufera Park, you can share their facilities too, which will be attractive to those travelling with children as the Park Resort has a children’s pool too. The food is fabulous. There is a lot of variety for both breakfast and dinner with a selection of cold cuts and salads, hot stations and live cooking areas. There is entertainment each night and the staff are super friendly, greeting you every time you walk past. The best part? Direct beach access to Platja de Muro, which is one of the most stunning beaches I have seen. You will not be disappointed if you stay here.

Great hotel, service, great people!

This is our second family holiday at this resort. Great team and service. Food selection is sufficient, menu theme is different every night. Special thanks to the staff once again!

Excellent experience all way through

We arrived by car and it was easy to find place to park. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious enough for three people. The sofa bed could’ been a bit more comfy. The view from the room - amazing! Dinner and breakfast - we all agreed that we haven’t seen such a variety and tasty food in a hotel for a long time. Even the vegans found plenty of choices. The hotel complex offers a lot of choices. We liked the Musical evening. My daughter loved the virgin cocktail Stella. The beach is lovely. It’s also good for morning jogging as it stretches for miles. I enjoyed the yoga class I joined on the last morning. A small inconvenience is that you have to bring money should you want to use the beach parasol and beds. The are plenty of sport activities, table tennis, gym. The was very convenient location to explore the island by car. Great place in the sun. When we return to Mallorca for a longer holiday we will definitely stay in the same hotel.

It was a lovely hotel all the staff were very friendly

Hotel was excellent in staff friendly ,helpful, food was excellent, The only issue i had was with the room cleaner after unpacking i put my personal belongings etc glasses, phone cables, hair dryers, on top of the bedside drawers which she moved and i had to look for them in room. also moving my suitcases the other side of room so i put a DO NOT DISTURB card on my door as the room did not need cleaning and still the cleaner entered my room and thoroughly cleaned it. I must say the cleaner did a good job cleaning just the moving of my belongings was annoying. The other issue i had was when i checked in to hotel i was asked if i wanted to pay a 10Euro deposit for the safe in my room and 10 Euro returned when i check-out i said yes ok. As i was checking out at early morning the day before i checked out late afternoon i went to reception desk and asked to give key to safe back now save early morning if any issues and pay my room bill. I was returned my deposit of 10 Euro and told everything was ok and just come back early morning and check-out and owe nothing for room. Early morning i checked-out and was in-formed there was a outstanding bill of 24 Euro 3 Euro per day for rent safe which i was never informed about when i checked in or the day before i checked out. Paid 24 Euro for safe but was not happy. In all i had a great holiday at this hotel just checking out spoiled it a little staff and food and facilities were excellent.

Amazing hotel and beach

Hotel is very friendly, stuff is very professional and in positive spirit. Beach and water are amazing, most beautiful beach in Mallorca, clear and green water and sand...food in hotel is very tasty, lot of fish and sea food...animation team is very good, every day is different program such as neon party, Disney musical, Blues band...we will definitely come again!

Good for kids, average for adults

Our kid was happy with the facilities, kids animation is good. The staff is really helpfull. Beautiful beach just in front of the hotel. During our 4 days stay there was a steady smell from sewage. For some reason, you can't switch off a light at your balcony, they do it after 23 for everyone.

Amazing, a perfect get away

We loved this hotel. The rooms are modern, clean and have a nice balcony. We did the all-inclusive and the food was some of the best all inclusive food we’ve ever had at a resort. The beach, is seriously amazing. One of the most beautiful I have ever seen. There are no private beaches, but you can rent an umbrella and chairs right in front of the hotel. Pools are big and nice but we didn’t spend much time by them. There is not much of a night life here, but they had evening shows. We saw a lot of families. Also, there are 2 Iberostars next to each other that connect and share all the same amenities including restaurants. We loved this place and even changed travel plans to stay an extra day.

Nice beach, great facilities, clean/comfortable rooms, incredible breakfast, friendly staff and a large bar selection... what more do you need?!

Nice hotel, but there were marks on the blanket which was a big put off on day one of our arrival. On next day, We went for lunch at the restaurant. As we got in there was no one around to guide us to the table and therefore we just found a table by ourselves. However a few minutes later 4 different staff started enquiring about our room numbers etc. At another point they all started talking to one another in spanish and everyone eyeing and pointing towards us. I am still unsure what the commotion was all about. This made us feel very uncomfortable and on this particular day the staff made us feel really really Unwelcome. Swimming pool was always cold too. Great range of food, very clean restaurant.

Good hotel with good facilities but let down by noisy rooms. We stayed in a Star Prestige double room but would appear to be just same as other doubles which would all suffer the same fault. Noise from other rooms and no way of making room dark at night as hallway light on walk way outside would be on all the evening plus noise from other rooms easily heard plus the inevitable suit cases being lugged around making a lazy wake up impossible unless I guess you are a heavy sleeper. Moved to another room - a double suite - hoping this would solve our issues but no. Could even hearing someone sneezing in adjoining room. Soundproofing clearly an issue which ever room you take. Aside from that you had to pay for the safe in the room of 24 euros I think of which you only get 10 back ! Normally you just pay a deposit and get it all back no ? One more odd thing was the seemingly horrible smell of sewage at various points of the hotel - mainly entering reception from the pool side and out in thew very pleasant surrounding woods where you can have a lovely walk. Food good staff good but feel in peak season it would be quite chaotic. Doubt I will go back or even book a large hotel ever again purely for the potential of noise from other rooms. Sorry if this appears to be a minor gripe but given you go away from peace and a rest noise from maybe 7am does not give me that feeling.

The hotel had friendly staff that were always willing to assist. The food was excellent. The environment was clean and well maintained. The greenery was looked after on a daily basis and the swimming pools were all kept clean.This was my second visit to the hotel and I was not disappointed. There is live entertainment each night to suit all age groups.The beach was Clare blue with clean sand, the beach is walking distance from the hotel and it is surrounded with breathtaking mountains. I strongly recommend this hotel to others,especially families with young children.

A good family hotel with the nice beach close by

Big family hotel. Fun entertaining programs for kids and sports activities for adults during the day and evening. This gives a feeling of liveliness. Very friendly staff. Buffet food was fine. There is another restaurant with a-la-card menus. Our room was in the wing closer to reception. That side of the building smelled of garbage or fertilizer twice a day. Beach was right next to the hotel, easy access. But we had to wake up at 7am in order to find available sun beds. If you go towards 9am no chance to find available sun beds, all either pre-reserved for a week or already taken for the day. All in all- the location, the staff and the efforts people make there is worth going there. We felt that the club members and people coming there for years- are treated like the family. It was interesting to learn that some families visit the Ressort for several generations. And this is a good reference.

Nice hotel child friendly close to the beach

Was there with friends and 3 kids we had a very good time. Lots of activity for adults and children. Nice beach and amazing location very good to visit other beaches around like st Vincent amazing !!!

Perfect stay

Beautiful environment, excellent service, fantastic food, amazing events and activities. We enjoyed yoga, zumba, dance class, pilates and Spanish lesson. Everyday and night they held lots of shows which we perfectly satisfied. The best thing I would like to appreciate is the nice and kind staffs - Laura, Natasha, Jessica and all other staffs, thank you very much and I would like to definitely recommend your hotel because of your kindness and service. The Spanish class and yoga were great for treating myself to get rid of stresses. Thank you and I hope to see you again.

Nice stay if you like huge busy hotels

The hotel is huge and very busy. A lot of staff around the hotel, mostly helpful, rooms and all facilities are clean and nice state; nice animation team - so as far as holiday resort entertainment goes, it's good; provide some opportunities for adults to be active. If you are not demanding over and above that - you'll enjoy your stay. Some concerns are: kids club (actual room) is small and activities are sometimes very basic, kids stay inside a lot; hotel need to be clear that they don't have a beach, it's public beach and guests should still pay for using sunbed and umbrellas and deal with rude beach service; hotel staff constantly offer sweets to kids - it may be in best intention, but i didn't appreciate it; no easy access to water sports; but can book nice boat trips; and it's buffet even for dinner - food is as good as it could be in such a huge place, but it's hard to enjoy dinner, when you have to pick your food in a huge crowd in the dining room. Huge effort from the restaurant team to be helpful though.

Great holiday!!!

Nice hotel, not luxury but good amenities for holidays with kids. Very hard working staff, always there when you needed something. Exceptionally good with kids. Excellent evening entertaining, it was there when you wanted it but equally big enough area to escape for a peace and equate. Hotel is locate right on the beach which is brilliant!!! We had a fantastic time.

Lovely holiday

We had a lovely stay. Would recommend it to a young family. Loads for little ones to do. Food was good. Rood was good and had English channels which was a plus.

Little George's holiday .

This was a holiday with our grand-son who is 3 and a half and was concentrated on pools and beach . He did not want to leave ! The lay out of hotel was just right . But what made the holiday was the exceptional service and friendliness of all the personnel. We shall recommend it .

A wonderful week at this hotel, happy happy happy!

We have just returned from a week staying at the Albufera Playa hotel. We were pleased with every single aspect of our visit. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the rooms were cleaned beautifully each day. The location of the hotel is excellent - right on the beach, in a nice quiet resort, which was perfect for us. We hired a car so were able to easily get to other places on the island. The food was amazing - such a great choice at breakfast and dinner - I had something different every day.

Great hotel

Fantastic hotel near beach and protected woodland. Strong smell of something nasty at night sometimes if you leave the window open. Advised by manager it was the stagnant water from the nature reserve. Besides that great hotel and good kids pool.

A great place for families. My wife and sons (11 & 8) thoroughly enjoyed their week long stay. They were able to opt in and out of the exercise classes offered around the pool during the day.

Great Hotel, Smoking Remains a Problem in Spain

Hotel great all staff very friendly and helpful. Pool very warm, even though not heated by anything other than the sun and loungers available if you get there early enough after breakfast. There is no telling what problem the hotel was encountering with the pool, but it turned two pairs of swimming shorts and one sun top green which will not wash out and will need throwing away. Food a little lacking in decent quality (chicken was thigh meat, steak only once in 10 days). Paella contained fish every day, it would have been nice if there was a non fish paella along side the fish option for those who do not want fish legs and tentacles in their dinner, although there was plenty of food for all tastes. Entertainment was good only problem is that Spain still fails to protect people (staff and customers) from the cancerous effects of passive smoking. Smokers get the best seats, outside where it is cooler, leaving those who do not want to subject themselves to a future with cancer, to sit inside the stiflingly hot bar area, which was also open to smokers if they decided to smoke there too, and they did occasionally. One selfish smoker can affect many tables around them. It would be nice if the hotel dedicated one side to smoking and the other to fresh air. This was also a problem with the side entertainment, where it was difficult to listen to the music without being next to a smoking table, unless you sat on a sun lounger by the pool.

We had a wonderful relaxing stay from the moment we checked in, home from home, the staff where all very helpful. The breakfast was lovely with plenty of variety.

Everything you need for a family holiday. Lovely food, clean, wonderful staff. On the beach - only snag Is you have to pay for beds. Lots for kids 2 playgrounds, kids club. Kids splash pool which is amazing for under 10s and is even advertised. Enjoy

Nice Hotel

We were there for 10 days on an all inclusive basis. Really nice hotel, well maintained and efficiently run by the Iberostar Team. Very friendly staff - nothing too much bother. Entertainment good, though a bit monotonous (similar stuff each night - singing/dancing). There is a quieter area away from the main stage where a fabulous Spanish guitarist played (and another night a Spanish vocalist) - both really lovely. However, Iberostar has chosen to situate them right next to a busy toilet area (!!!) where everyone had to walk in front of them to get to the loo - disheartening for the artist and extremely irritating for the audience. If you don't mind not speaking to another English person for your entire holiday, then you will love this hotel. The majority of guests are German. I understand there was another English couple but we never met them.

Lovely weekend stay with chikdren

Would truly struggle to fault this hotel. It was a little pricey but the facilities were lovely, nice pools, fantastic food. I'm not generally a fan of buffets, but the quality and choice was great. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning.

Great hotel but noisy evenings

We spent our summer vacation in July and must say is very good hotel, modern and clean, food were perfect but was difficult to find the place outside the restaurant - it's better to come 20 min before opening (dinner time). Everything for kids were great! But programme after 21-23h was so so loud that we could not sleep never before the midnight :-( sea view was soooo long away from the beach. Sea was good and beach too but there is not sunbeds if you don't have a reservation for these. We went to Esperanza Hotel playa most of the time because of the more space on the beach. Was windy every afternoon an lots of waves. Anyway - we will stay again here if music would not be so loud.

Nice hotel but mainly caters for Germans

Have just come back from a three day half board stay at this hotel. The hotel on the whole is nice and in a good setting close to the beach. The food was good and there was plenty of choice. The hotel is predominately German, but all the guests seemed pretty relaxed and friendly. If you like to watch tv in English though there is only one Chanel bbc world all the others are in Spanish and German, I have stopped at many international hotels before and this is the one with least choice of tv. We had a ground floor room with pool facing garden view. This room did become a bit noisey in the morning with the noise from above and especially the lift going up and down with other people going to breakfast. The aircon in the room was useless but it was only may so not so hot but would not like to be there in the height of the summer. Lastly if you like to use wifi on a tablet or smart phone the free wifi is only for 30mins every 24 hrs and it does nt refresh the next day it actually knows when you last used it so if you went off line at 10pm you have to wait til 10pm the following day to use it again and the 30mins is 30mins straight you can't keep going in and out. On the whole the hotel was good for what we wanted but I think any longer than 3 days I would have started to get annoyed a bit. The staff are all very friendly and the food was good too with a nice setting and good swimming pools. I would recommend thus hotel but I wanted to share my experience too.

Easter break

Not a good view. Our view was the carpark. But clean hotel and great room. Beds are hard so stiff back. Staff friendly but they mucked up on our beauty salon appointment and only booked me in and not my partner so it didn't go ahead.. Cocktails are made using cheap ingredients but charge a fortune. But overall the hotel had a lot of great things.

Not many british

Wonderful hotel but not many British. Some parents allowed children to handle food in restaurant, otherwise everything else was very good.

It is not a 4 star hotel.

We stayed at the hotel for 7 nights in August,and the experience was disappointing.We booked 2 rooms,and our rooms were next to each other.The rooms were poorly finished,with paint falling off the ceiling and walls water-stained.The worst part was that the rooms were not sound proof at all,so we heard everything happening in the other room.There were also many young children,so it was noisy everywhere,never a moment of quietness.The beach was clean,and water was shallow and warm,which was very good for small children.Hotel beach was right next to the public part,so not much exclusivity,and chairs/unbrellas did not belong to the hotel,would need to pay to use them.We took the all inclusive option,which was a rip off.The buffet lunches and dinners did not offer many dishes,and many were the same day after day.Sea food dishes were of better quality if you went to dinner early,as it happened to us,once their tiger prawns ran out,they replaced them with smaller and less fresh ones.Hot meat options were limited,too.The drink selections were small,both at meals or in the bar,most of the good cocktails were to be charged extra,or completely not included at all.Plus,there was no complimentary bottled water in the room,even as all inclusive guests,we were told to pay extra for it in the rooms!The staff in the bar and restaurant were very nice and friendly,and the service was good.Overall,it was no way a 4 star experience,and the bigger mistake was to take the all inclusive option.

Family Vacation Trip

Hello, we went on our family vacation to Mallorca Spain. We decided to stay at the Iberostar Albufera Playa resort based on other traveler reviews. The hotel met our expectation from a amenities, facility, cleanliness and food. The staff members were very nice and polite. We had a great experience in Mallorca. I would only mention two downsides: paying for the safe in your room, reservations for dinners at the second restaurant near the beach. We enjoyed our experience with the half board and it saves you a bit of money but we also like going out and trying different restaurants at lunch. the beaches were fantastic and water was perfectly clear.

Sad that English teenagers not welcome.

We had been here last year and our two boys had a great time in the teenage club, mixing with lots of different nationalities playing water polo, table tennis tournaments, volley ball etc. They socialised with their friends in he evening and we had a relaxed break. This year if you didn't come from Germany you were not welcome to join in any activities. We were not the only family to be disappointed by the unfriendliness of the teen "animation" team. Such a shame as the hotel is great, most of the staff are fantastic and the food is well above average. We won't be going back.

Great family hotel

Lots of activities for children. Right on the beach. Great breakfast buffet. Room a bit cramped for three. No room bar or tea and coffee facilities....or iron in room.

Take the kids, it's fab!

First of all the team looking after the kids were fantastic! My 9 year old son was the only British child for 1 day and could not speak Spanish German or French. He was still welcomed and looked after despite this and made friends. Football is a language! Carlos and Phillipe were excellent! The food was great but found some food from the grill undercooked for my taste - but that's a personal pref. I like everything well done... Indoor pool could've been warmer and bigger but did not stop us from jumping in. The outdoor pools are too cold at this time of the year. The beach.. Omg.. Beautiful amazing! All in all great food, staff, location...spa treatment highly recommended! Great for kids my son wants to go again!

Great hotel, good location

The hotel was very good our room was ver spacious and clean, the food was great everyday they had a complete different menu. Location is very good for couples and families, Playa d Muro is not a crazy place like Magaluf I just think the hotel could have a bit more adult entertainment as there was a lot of kids shows. We were there during Easter so there were loots of kids, they might have a different schedule for the summer time but I would recommend to my friends.

excellent hotel

Excellent but to be picky given the percentage of British guests having numerous German and a number of French TV channels and only the BBC World Service means if you want to have a break in your room (or more importantly try and get the kids to) there are no real options for English speaking guests.

A Value Stay Hotel

Comfortable room and excellent buffet breakfast. The add-on charges for upgrade etc perhaps annoying and perhaps high for the added upgrade for a 'garden view' room. Grounds and amentities were quite good as was entertainment. Truly a family type resort. Beach was excellent.

Good hotel more suited to families

Overall our experience at this hotel was very good. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the facilities and services provided are very good too. The location is great. We had a couple of small gripes with our room (see below). The food at the hotel was OK, but nothing special. There were a lot of families there when we stayed (Sep 2011) that made meal times especially noisy. We were away from the hotel and beach most days so cannot comment on how the hotel was during the day. The hotel does seem to be more geared towards German visitors (as the north side of the island seems to be more popular with them in general), but all the staff also speak good English. Pros - Hotel was clean and tidy and room always clean. - We had self catering room in the Park side which was a very good size with separate bedroom and lounge. - Hotel facilities were very good. - Great location next to the beach, away from main strip in Playa Muro and close to the natural park. - Staff were excellent, really friendly and helpful. - Adjoining beach was clean and well looked after. Cons - Our room had a stale smell in the lounge (suspect sofa had got wet and gone a bit mouldy) and the shower had a bit of a rotten drain as well. - TV selection was a bit disappointing for a 4* hotel (mostly German and Spanish channels and no satellite or cable channels). - Meal times were very noisy due to the high number of small children around at the time of year we were there. - Meals were disappointingly lacking in Spanish influence. There was paella every day, but not much else. The puddings were diabolical, all artificial pre made rubbish. - Very limited and expensive internet. No wifi in rooms. It was actually cheaper to use my 3G there than to pay for the in hotel internet... - Occasional eggy/ammonia smell in the surrounding area probably due to the industrial plant a few miles further down the coast.

not impressed

This hotel proved a disappontment all round for us as a family of 3 with a young child. 3 nights of our 10 night stay were characterised by broken sleep and an wholly unreasonable level of noise disturbance into the early hours of the morning by corporate guests staying at the hotel for a coference! The hotel management and staff failed to deal with this situation, despite numerous complaints about the disruption by holidaying guests. Existing expedia reviews by UK customers failed to mention that hotel is 99% German occupancy, with a kids club & children's evening entertainment predominantly in German ('token' translatioin into English). Food was mostly average, sometimes good. The room was minimalist & modern in style, at the expense of comfort and practicalities (no table/dressing table, no chairs in the room, no bath, very small wardrobe). Whilst the 'all inclusive' option covered what we needed, the hotel relies heavily on self-service by guests (e.g. drinks by the pool, tea/coffee at breakfast), which we did not expect for the price we paid and the 4 star+ rating. Overall, not impressed. Would not go back or recommend to ohers. Nearby Alcudia town centre very cheap and tacky, full of embarrassing 'Brits abroad' and souvenir shops by the dozen.

The best place to go to!!

I will highly recommande this hotel. For couples with Children, this is the best place to go to. 3 swimming pools and as the sea is shalow, kids can enjoy themselves. We had a really relaxing time. The view from our room was beautifull with the sea on one side and the national park on the other. Such a great place!!

Excelente para famílias

Excelente estadia, hotel acabou de ser renovado e todas as instalações são novas, os quartos são de bom tamanho, as piscinas são ótimas apesar da água fria. Tem muita opção de recreação tanto para crianças quanto adultos, a comida de excelente qualidade. A praia em frente ao hotel para mar do Caribe, recomendo de olhos fechados!

Perfekt

Trevliga personal, perfekt mat, fin hotel, jätte bra för barn familjer, nära till stranden( 150 m) om man äter glutenfri alltid finns gott mat som grill eller stekt fisk, pork, eller kyckling som man kan äta, jag har testat med special apparat och maten var 100 glutenfritt. Jätte bra Hotel bara deras sängar var inte bra och bekväm.

Velký výběr a dobre jidlo, skvěle animační programy. Lokalita mimo centrum, pláže o víkend přeplněné lidmi.

hotel albufera playa fermé on nous a attribué une chambre à l'hôtel d'à coté albufera park ; la première chambre attribuée n'était pas fidèle à la présentation de la réservation chambre à la deco veillotte avec couverture à l'ancienne avec vue sur la piscine alors que nous avions demandé une vue jardin , chambre donnant directement sur l'espace de spectacle une horreur en terme de bruit, une vraie nuisance, impossible d'entendre la télé tellement le son du spectacle était fort après une plainte à la réception on nous a attribué une chambre mieux placée où le volume sonore du spectacle pouvait être acceptable, et une chambre à la déco plus fidèle de celle réservée avec couette et polaire . personnel très à l'écoute, restauration copieuse et très diversifiée , on s'est régalé . Si vous aimez les hôtels de standing calme alors éviter cet hôtel qui privilégie les familles avec animations à gogo , selon moi iberostar albufera est un club vacances plus qu'un hôtel

Das Hotel ist renovierungsbedürftig, zumindest ein Teil. Möbel sind zerkratzt und veraltet.

Krásný, čistý hotel. Jídlo bylo vynikající! Velký výběr na snídani i večeři. Hotel se nám moc líbil a určitě si příště zase vybereme Iberostar!
