He was absolutely the worst experience my son and my husband have had the first room smelled like fish in the second room. The sheets were completely dirty. It was absolutely embarrassing.!! Never will stay here again! definitely not worth $120 a night plus tax

It smelled so bad and things were broken when we got there. It was an ok place to sleep for the night if need be but wouldn’t recommend it for more than that for sure

It was very easy to get in and out on the highway and service was very good. Will rebook the next time I go to Broken Bow.

The breakfast was not very great. Cold food, stale stuff. The smoking rooms cost less than the nonsmoking rooms! It seems like the people who are not destroying the building with the stench and burned furniture, sheets, carpeting, oh and the horrid smell shoukd pay less than those who are destroying the property!! It makes absolutley no sense to charge me more charge the people destroying your property more. Its a ridiculous pricing model! The lobby was clean, and although staff was nice, I still feel like it was not a good value.

I booked a hotel room in Broken Bow at the last minute, which I will never do again. The staff was super friendly, but the room's cleanliness was a concern. When I pulled back the bed to check for bed bugs, I found hair, dust, and crumbs. The mattress had stains suggesting bed bugs had been present at some point, although I didn't see any. We stayed on Third-floor room which is smoking floor. The smell was strong and musky. . At 3:00 AM, I was woken up by loud music and marijuana smoke coming from the room beside us. I immediately reported the issue to the manager on duty, who promptly addressed the situation. While this hotel might be okay for couples, I wouldn't recommend it for families with younger children due to the cleanliness and potential noise issues. Just my opinion, not suitable for young children due to the risk of exposure to rowdy casino patrons.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The elevator was out of service when we arrived and the vent to our bathroom was not putting out air.

WAS A GOOD LOCATION FOR WHERE WE WERE GOING...CHECK IN WAS FAST AND FRIENDLY...WOULD STAY AGAIN.

The friendly staff and the quietness

Not bad hotel. I’m very picky and this place was clean. The coffee was not very good but the breakfast food was average.

This place could use some cleaning. The elevator smelled of weed and chlorine. Pool was okay, just not being skimmed, so a lot of bugs. We paid nearly 200.00 for a suite, which was not worth it. The suite was just an average sized room with a hide a bed. The hide a bed was trashed. Stained up cushions, etc. The suite only had one extra chair in it, so poorly furnished. The parking lot and entrance was dirty compared to other places we have stayed. Just an overall lack of attention to cleaning, but not extremely dirty. I'd rank it at the lower end of places we have stayed.

Nice and clean. Casino is literally across the street. Recommended.

Rooms were large and plenty of space. The overall appearance is dated but ok. Very loud AC unit in room and TV had pixel defects and a vertical line defect in the picture as well. As I mentioned, dated and in need of upgrading. Good location and easily accessible.

Overnight Stay

It was a nice stay, clean, the only thing that was uncomfortable was the A/C did not cool the whole room at times. It was a good place to stay for a few nights.

Clean & Comfy

Always love to stay at the Hi-Way Inn, very clean and comfortable. Staff are always friendly and helpful, the continental breakfast leaves something to be desired but not bad overall. The only place my wife and I are willing to stay at while in Broken Bow

Overpriced given room condition

While the lobby, exterior and hallways appear updated, the double queen room I had was aged and musty. Honestly, my first thought was that it smelled of 20 year old cigarette smoke. There are no USB ports in the room so plan accordingly. WIFI in my room only had 2 bars. This was way over priced for the amenities offered at $126 a night, should have been well below $100. The free breakfast was so-so, some cold breakfast sandwiches that could be microwaved, cold cereal dispenser, packets of oatmeal, and there is a hot pancake machine. Coffee is available 24/7 in the lobby but it is frankly terrible coffee. I should add that I reserved a King but was put into a double Queen. By the time I got to my room I was so tired that I was glad I had a room and crashed for the night. I'll find other options should I need to stay in Broken Bow again.

It was ok, nothing fancy. Staff was nice, breakfast was so so. It seemed pricy for the location.

Very nice property. Rooms are newly renovated and are very nice.

Was told at check in that since they were "dead" that everyone had to be checked in on the first floor. We were right next door to an athletic team of some type that kept us up all night. There was a homeless person hanging out in back of our room window. Was pretty scary. Sheets were so thin that we could see through them. The comforter smelled as if it has not been washed in months. Breakfast doors were closed before breakfast time ended. Ran out of hot water after only one shower. Received calls from front desk BEFORE check out and maids attempted to walk in our door without knocking first - again BEFORE check out time. Luckily I had the top lock on. Will NOT stay here ever again.

Staff were great with our last minute booking. Room and hotel were great overall. My only complaint would be the very busy road it’s on doesn’t have lights or has very limited lighting - it made for some unsafe and/or questionable driving to get to the place at night. (However the hotel itself was well lit and far enough away from the road to be safe/avoid noise.)

Nice clean rooms with helpful staff and a good breakfast. The only thing this is missing is a snack vending machine.

Our Anniversary Kick off

My stay with my Husband was amazing, we started off here to celebrate our Anniversary. The Hotels location in front of the Casino was so convenient and perfect. The Staff was nice at checking in, The Rooms were clean, The Continental Breakfast and coffee were good. Our overall stay was good.

So called breakfast was a donut. Place reeked of curry. Room smelled awful. Hallway smelled like raw sewer. Would not reccomend this place.

They could really amp up their breakfast. Quite disappointing.

Room smelled really bad. Husband and I woke up with headache. Was expecting a better room for the price point.

Loved the staff. The receptionist was great. The lobby was clean, and it was a convenient location for us. Loved the room minus the hide-a-bed being a flimsy dirty unmade mattress (no options for sheets in the room). The sofa was stained and unable to sleep comfortably on it knowing it was uncleaned. When we first arrived to the room, everything was unplugged including the tv dish box, and had to have someone come up and fix that issue. My two main reasons for booking at this location was for pets (a miscommunication from Expedia and the hotel so my information for my service animal was not saved and therefore I had to pay out of pocket to have my service dog, 50$ additional dollars). And the second reason, breakfast included. I was disappointed in the lack of options and the amount of equipment that was out of order (on one of the busiest holidays for traveling...). There was very little options for gluten free (banana or apples, super original and lame). Drink machine out of order both days and last days the ONLY breakfast my kids liked (pancakes) that machine was also out of order with no substates. It was disheartening that I paid 500$ for two nights and I couldn't get some scrambled eggs and oj. My suggestion, plan better and have a backup in place if you are aware your equiptment breaks that often.

I love that the hotel is pet-friendly and the staff are very friendly

Our room wasn't cleaned as good as a normal hotel room. There was big balls of dirt either fron someones boots or something. The bed was super hard The toilet wouldn't flush good which eventually ended up stopped up by morning. For the price we couldve gotten a much betyer suite to stay in,or a cabin.

Plumbing in my room, the sink back-up regularly. The lobby was dirty, the halls were dirty, the room was dark.

Overall, nice place for a one-night business stay. I picked this property because it was pet friendly but there was a $25 pet fee. Expedia needs to figure out a way to disclose this. I've been surprised by it on several different stays and it's frustrating. I can assure anyone that asks, my 10lb dog is much better behaved and makes much less of a mess than most toddlers! The bed was comfortable with the exception of the pillows were small and hard. The room was clean, and the water pressure was good. The in room, coffee supplies were so old that the powdered creamer had turned to a plastic consistency which is disappointing.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay very much. The room was nice, the breakfast was good and the staff was so friendly and provided directions and information when we inquired. Would definitely stay here again.

Convenient to the funeral home.

I made the reservation through Expedia and when I booked it I did put in the fact that I was bringing a pet with me. After check-in, my husband and I were walking in the front door and the front desk clerk immediately said there was a $25.00 fee for a pet. I paid but I thought the rate included the pet fee. She was nice about it, but I think that could be better specified on the rate when a room is booked. The room and bathroom were clean and well-stocked with towels and tissue paper, however the bed was hard as a rock. I had a rough time sleeping.

the juice machine was broke for breakfast and that was disappointing. Otherwise, the stay was comfortable and even though it was on the roadside, it was quiet which was really nice.

Pleasant experience. People were friendly maybe looking a little dated but overall it was an ok stay. Paid for a suite wasnt a suite more maybe a little bigger than normal room. Would stay again if needed a place to stay

The hotel is right off the Hwy, easy to access. Extremely clean and staff very friendly.

Our room 207 had a horrendous smell and there were no other rooms available. The next day they moved us. The free breakfast was all prepared stuff nothing really fresh. Overall, I wouldn't stay again unless there were no other options.

Not the cleanest place, bathtub was dirty, bathroom floor needed swept. The hallway had a not so pleasant smell.

Not impressed with my stay at this hotel, lobby and hallways were very hot, not very clean, A/C in room didn’t work very well, met my father there room was booked for 2 adults wouldn’t let my father check in before me made him sit in lobby for 3 hours waiting on me, room was smoking room, no extra blankets in room, couch had gross stains all over it, no ventilation in bathroom in room was extremely hot. Will not be staying here again in the future and DO NOT recommend to anyone, DO NOT waste your money on the “suite”. Horrible.

Great place to stay

Not Worth the Price

It was a little over-priced for the facility. It was nice enough and had excellent hot water and water pressure. The room was clean, but showing signs of ‘just cleaning it enough to get by,’ even though I don’t want to complain about cleanliness. It will sneak up on them if they are not more thorough and systematic in maintenance. I did have one problem. I put my dirty clothes in a flimsy grocery bag and tied it shut tightly, to be taken home and laundered. The bag was on the floor by the nightstand. The service collected it, and I never saw it again. When I complained at the desk, they were unsympathetic and even said that my claim could not be true (I don’t like being called a liar). I plan to dispute a portion of the charge in order to repurchase replacement items of clothing.

Walking distance to casino. Breakfast was basically juice and bagels. Very pricey for the outdated and amenities.Foed have a small pool. Staff not very friendly! Don't recommend.

The stay at this hotel was okay. The rooms are clean. The only issue we had was the towels were dirty. We asked for some new ones and they gave us new ones, but they were also all stained. Make sure to take your own towels.

Good service at front desk. The top bedcover and blanket looked used and stained. Microwave was not cleaned and a/c didn't get very cool.

The bathroom was not cleaned there was hair everywhere toilet dirty no big towels and the smaller towels looked dirty! It was late when we arrived so cleaned the bathroom myself cause we did not want to move our stuff to another room! I changed the bedding due to looking dirty as well! I paid 144 for a room that I had to clean before I used!! Very disappointed and will not be staying again!

We had been booked into another hotel that was not a pleasant experience the first night. This hotel was clean, friendly and felt safe.

The breakfast was awesome! Really enjoyed our stay! From the looks outside you think initially it’s not gonna be nice but it’s what’s on the inside that counts.

There was a sewage smell around the elevator area and in the elevator. I asked the staff and they said they’re aware of the problem but were unable to get a plumber until Monday, understandable. Otherwise everything was great!

There was hair in the bed and bathroom, our mini fridge door was left open and had a pool of water under the fridge, then to find that the cabinet the fridge was in had mold and the fake trim around the floor was water warped and peeling. The furniture was completely outdated and the pull out couch mattress was hard as a rock. The first floor where the check in desk was smelt as if someone had dedicated themselves throughout the entire floor. The pool was closed off although it was still 95 degrees outside. The breakfast was poor, I overheard the front desk attendant telling another guest about the great breakfast they provided to find out it was mainly microwave breakfast items, like frozen breakfast sandwiches, packets of oatmeal and a self serve pancake machine. The parking lot was filled with cigarette butts and sticky everywhere you walked, outside was very neglected.

Acceptable but dishonest

When I made my room reservation on Hotels.com, I did not notice that the room I selected was King SMOKING room. That lack of attention is my fault. My wife is allergic to cigarette smoke. When we entered our room, it was horrific with smoke smell. I went down to the front desk to ask to change rooms because I thought I had a non smoking room. That is when I learned of my error and having to accept what happens next. I asked if we could change rooms to a non-smoking room. The manager on duty, who is also apparently the Owner, had a smug Cheshire cat grin and so kindly informed me that he was fully booked, however, he did have a King Suite for only $44 more. I seriously doubted that he was fully booked as this was the off season but this was my error so we took the room. Looking at the parking lot a few times during the night and early the next morning, it had the same amount of cars as when we turned in and this hotel was no where near full. One thing I cannot stand is dishonesty. These folks were not truthful. There was no real difference between our original room and the "King Suite" we had to pay additional money for. The air conditioner constantly cycled throughout the night and would not adequately cool the room. The breakfast bar was minimal and not very well stocked for a hotel that was supposedly fully booked. Also, there were no guests eating during the time I was down there. The pool was not open. Very disappointed in the dishonesty.

This is a roadside motel in disguise. Rented a non smoking room and was put into a smoking room. My biggest issue is they did not make it clear when booking that this could happen. I would never have made the reservation if they had. Why in the world would you have smoking rooms in a hotel?

The Hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. We did not have time to use the pool facility but it looked like several others were enjoying it. The room itself was mostly clean. We did have crumbs/food in the fold out sofas in both rooms. The air conditioner worked well and water pressure and hot water were fabulous. Our towels were stained but smelled disinfected with bleach.
