HORRIBLE PLACE!

I arrived to check in and the door was closed no one was there I had to spend my first night in Barcelona looking for other hostels to stay! BAD BAD BAD EXPERIENCE

Unsafe and false advertising

We had quite a few issues here. We booked a double room but got 2 single beds, something we're willing to brush off but just annoying. The room had no curtains despite advertising there were black out drapes. The window also opened into someone else's room and we couldn't even lock them. It was really unsafe. There was no free bottled water as advertised either. The room was unbearably hot as there were no windows for an outside breeze. There was a small fan which did nothing to cool us down. Our room was not in the hostel but in an apartment across the road, and other guests made us feel very unsafe. The cleaners would come and leave sliding doors leading outside wide open even after they left. We never felt safe there.

One of the 2 common shared bathroom had problem with water heater. My daughter was forced to take cold water as we didn't notice it was not working. You know it is winter there now... And the hostel owner was not always at the premises. We had to wait other guests come back to enter the place. We were waiting at the entrance more than 20min. but luckily other guests came back and they opened the main door for us to go in.

I asked for a refund of the reservation for covid 19, but I didn't get anything

mi dispiace dover recensire molto negativamente questa struttura, ma purtroppo lo farò. quando si viaggia con un budget molto basso chiunque è consapevole di non poter ottenere grandi strutture lussuose ed è stato così quando abbiamo prenotato e, in seguito, visto la struttura. il problema è stato che durante il soggiorno non è stato rispettato l'unico diritto che non dovrebbe mai essere negato neanche al più povero dei viaggiatori: la privacy. la nostra camera affacciava su un atrio il quale era la nostra unica fonte di aria, purtroppo anche la camera dei nostri vicini affacciava su questo atrio il quale si è successivamente trasformato in una loro area di ritrovo mentre si affacciavano tranquillamente nella nostra camera senza alcun rispetto della nostra presenza. il proprietario è stato abbastanza gentile nel risolvere la situazione, tuttavia il problema resta perchè abbiamo passato tre notti orribili, con l'ansia che qualcuno potesse osservarci o ad ogni modo entrare nella nostra stanza in nostra assenza.
