My go to for a stay in manhattan
The Blair Storm Adventure
My children and I got stuck in the Winter Storm Blair at the beginning of January 2025. Thankfully we chose this hotel, as we ended up stranded in Manhattan, KS, on our way home to Colorado, because I-70 was closed! This hotel staff went above and beyond to make sure all of their guests were well taken care of, actually served food until the kitchen ran out of food! The front desk staff were all so helpful with our out of state questions! One of the staff shoveled my car out of its parking spot so I could finally leave once I-70 was back open. This hotel and its staff were our life savers! Thank you so much for everything you did for me and my children! Alec, Mary, and everyone at the front desk were very comforting in a very discomforting situation!
Our one night stay
It was nice other than the tv didn’t work and we had to call for assistance which they sent! He was good. Then we found out the refrigerator wasn’t working. The faucet in the bathtub was also falling off. Not sure what they will do about that! Otherwise great place!
Love this hotel!
Staff was amazing and rooms are always nice and clean!
Everything was great, the front desk lady didnt understand about pets very well so I talked to the overall manager and he chatted with her. I had my adult dog and a puppy with me that is learning a kennel. Dont get me wrong when I visit Manhattan this is my GO TOO hotel to stay at. Staff is incredible.
Spacious and nice upgrades throughout
AVOID
I see negative reviews aren't accepted since I posted one last night but here let me post it again. The Doubletree by Hilton is an absolute mistake of a stay. If you have any common sense stay ANYWHERE else. I have tried to just ignore things the numerous times I've stayed and now it's reached a breaking point. Let me list the ways this place should be razed to the ground and the land sold off. There was no peephole cover making the space unsafe, major construction, key cards don't work, staff is rude, staff is unable to complete the most basic of tasks, the new pet policy makes it impossible to actually be pet friendly because if you travel to visit friends you can't leave at all, no toilet paper, no soap, no lights that consistently work, the exterior doors that are supposed to be card key access don't latch so anyone can just come in off the street, they dont enforce the pool policy for children. Drowning kids with drunks cool, pets nooooo not at all. Was the best move for Sheraton to sell off the Four Points. Hilton should cut it's losses and raze it. Nothing can redeem this place and you're best served taking your money elsewhere. ANYWHERE else in town is better.
Very nice!
Although this hotel is in the middle of a renovation, our room was very nice and clean. I am anxious to return when they are done. I would suggest more outside lighting because it was a little hard to find in the middle of the night. Definitely priced well and again, we will be back!
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE
STAYING HERE IS AN ABSOLUTE MISTAKE! I've stayed Numerous times and every time there is something that makes me say yeah this place is awful probably shouldn't stay again. But it's close to my friend so I make the mistake time and time again. NO MORE! It is unsafe, poorly managed, staff doesn't know what they're doing, staff is often rude, the pet policy sequesters you to your room, you can only flush the toilet once an hour because of how slow the tank fills, in various stays here's what has been wrong: no hand soap, no toilet paper, dead light, no shampoo, ac doesn't actually work, no trash bag in the trash can, internet doesn't actually work even when you pay for it, poor cell phone reception, door keys randomly stop working, when the door key stops working the front desk girl tells you you don't know how to use it right, front desk staff frequently tried to gas light me when I brought up issues actually, no one answers the front desk phone and they don't have a voicemail for some reason or another, no PEEP HOLE INSERT SO ANYONE CAN JUST LOOK IN YOUR ROOM! This place is an absolute joke amonth other expletive laden things I could call it. If you have any common sense stay ANYWHERE ELSE. It may have just become a doubletree but Marriott had the right idea to do away with the property. Hilton should cut it's losses and close the whole place down, raze it and sell the land.
Was there for a KState game. Check in was kinda a pain.

Beds were comfy, but when I went to pick up my clothes up off the floor in the bathroom a cockroach ran out of my clothes. I spent the rest of the time shaking out all our clothes and hoping we didn't bring any extra bugs home
