The room itself was fine but the property was dirty and in disrepair.

The breakfast was terrible the juice was very sour and taste almost poisonous.

We received NO housekeeping services during our stay. When we asked for clean bath towels, we were told they would bring some at about 9 PM; they arrived at 11 PM. We used the two packets of in-room coffee the first morning and when we asked for more we were told they only had a couple packets of decaf. (I’m not sure which is worse — if that was true or if that was false.) The lounge coffee, we were told, isn’t set out until 7 AM but we had to leave before that time each morning to get to the location we were there to attend and had to leave prior to that time the day we left to go to the airport. In all three instances (housekeeping, bath towels, and availability of coffee — even to purchase) I have received better service and accommodation at a Motel 6. I have to assume this is common to all Wyndham properties and will avoid them in the future.

Very dirty and outdated . Was woken up by a dog barking at 5:30 am.

The lobby is very nice and very clean, unfortunately when you make it to the part of the building the rooms are in it was dirty and unkept. The first room we were in the bathroom door was falling apart, it almost seemed as if the bathroom had been flooded at one point in time and they just let the door dry rot. The bed sheets looked unwashed. We were switched rooms at midnight do to the cleanliness. The hallways were dirty probably not swept since it was a doubletree. The elevators were scary and I’m putting that nicely. Pop cans and coffee cups all over the place on the floors. Trash cans in the hallways were over flowing. Also it was very scary that it was listed as a Wyndham on Expedia but was previously a doubletree and that’s how it was listed on Google. Very concerning for females traveling alone (as we were). Pot holes riddled the parking lot where there were beer cans and cigarette butts everywhere. The hotel rooms look absolutely look nothing like what the rooms actually look like. I do not recommend at all.

Asked for towels and washcloths twice before checkout and never got them

No towel in room to accommodate your guest. Had to call five times to get towels and wash clothes to room. From 1:50 am - 9:00am before towels arrive had to go to desk at that point.

The room was not cleaned the first day. I had hard time sleeping due to possible dust in the room that caused congestion and sore throat every morning I woke up. The beds were not comfortable also. The closet was not clean. the outlets were not working. The coffee maker was not working.

Pros: Affordable option. Relatively clean. Comfortable bed. Hot water. Cons: Parking is hit or miss. App said check in time was 3pm when responding to email. Arrived and not til 4pm. $100 hold on card for 2 days after.

Cheap and comfy

It is an older property with very cheap prices. It is more than satisfactory for a place to sleep. The staff was accommodating when needed.

I found nothing about this stay good. Dirty bedding, dirty floors and elevators, elevators not working people getting stuck, ice machine only work on 3 floor. rude employees, paid for the worst breakfast ever.

Well our first room the heat didnt work in it. Blew cold air. Then the 2nd room was dirty and the rm was not comfortable at all. The beds hurt my back. The refrigerator didnt work . Plate was gone from the microwave. Just a bad stay for the price. The bar wasnt open most of the stay. The pool was over ran by kids not beint watched . Just couldn't enjoy our stay. Smelling weed from other rooms . Just nasty and loud

Very friendly people! Decent rooms. The pool looked nice but I didn’t get a chance to use it. The breakfast wasn’t impressive.

I had a very late check in, but staff was at the front desk when I arrived, she was cheerful, pleasant and made me feel comfortable choosing this hotel.

Found a dirty pair of socks left in closet. Cleanliness, subpar. I have stayed at several old places and this is not great. Front desk doesnt answer the phones. Other guests had their kids in room across from them, going back and forth. Slamming doors. Its midnight and its still going on. Walked to front desk and asked if they could tell them to quiet down. Still no one has came. So, that's fun. So, yeah, it sucks.

This was the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. The staff was unfriendly and unhelpful in every way. The bathroom in our room was clogged as we arrived and I was told by the maintenance man it was a known issue by the hotel yet we were still given that room. Once we finally decided to lay down in the bed we noticed bed bugs. I took photos and went down to cancel immediately. I was told the manager would give me a call the next day and never did. The staff also refused to give me any contact info for a manager when I requested. Thankfully on my third attempt with Expedia customer service I was able to get a case opened and hopefully will have everything resolved within 72 hours. All in all the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had with a hotel. I would give negative stars if possible.

Staff is super helpful. The rooms are nice and the bed are comfortable.

The staff was very gentile and respectful. I love that. The hotel needs works is outdated thing are fallinf downs, elevator was crazy, the sheets wasn't whites, the heater of my room wasn't working, the curtain at the bath was falling, the blower wasn't wotking, the lamp were broken, not a little notebook to uses it, not a Bible, not a pen in the room. The holds with cigarettes smell. The breakfast was cold,. Only the lobby was appealing to the eye, but the rest was very outdated and don't work properly, poor maintenance.

I didn’t realize they were pet friendly until we walked up to the front door with dog poop in front however that was the only issue. Staff was very nice and accommodating.

A stay didn't happen. They told me I needed a hundred dollar incidental down payment just to get a room. I've never had to pay that at a hotel before. Nothing was said about that when I booked the room.

Extremely clean and spacious rooms with excellent shower, toiletries, and TV channels. Convenient pool and spa area, great bar, and terrific coffee and breakfast. An unbelievable value!

L property was clean. Front counter lady was very polite.

The bed sheet had human feces on it. After an opening seats up to check the bed we discovered it being on the bed sheet and reported it and staff did nothing to make it right

I enjoyed my stay , rooms were clean, public areas clean . Pool , hot tub . Restaurant with lounge . Price was great . I’ve been in some sketchy places for work and this is hands down one of the best ones I’ve had to stay in for work .. I would definitely go back ! The staff was friendly . It’s worth checking out .

The room was really nice. The guy that checked me in was super nice. However, he told me the hours of the buffet and I was understanding it that it was included. But, found out when we went to eat that it was not. So, we opted not to eat at the restaurant. Loved the fact that you guys sold aleve and such to save me a trip from having to navigate through Columbus alone( my husband had eye surgery)

Property was dated (fine) but simple items like functional shower curtain rods to avoid wet floors would be an easy improvement. The front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful. Houskeeping changed linens but did not remove trash from the room during the same visit. There were several examples of glass on the ground in the parking lot from break-ins.

Didn't have enough towels, didn't have a key (maintenance took me to my room). I had to call 3 times to get the WiFi password. The elevator had something on the floor that looked gross. They said they were going through a remodel but the place looked nothing like the pictures.

Great stay

The stay was great the only issue was the ice machines on the floor did not work. Only the ice maching on the 3rd floor was working.

It was a less than smooth operation at an old Doubletree! This weekend trip in mid January was hindered by inconsistent key panel operations, (left out in cold and hallway several times), janitorial services unresponsive to towel request, and I'm sorry but I'd like to believe that a warm cup of coffee might be a simple service for everyone, not just those awake before 7am! Plus, there's a need to charge $20 for a breakfast most include with stay? Too far. This all pales to the biggest insult. With a check out time of 11 am on 1/27, I'm terrified to hear my door open. I raise up, irritatingly ask about check out being 11, no response, door just shuts. This is completely unacceptable. Run and I open the door to find nada and management who said they would look into it. There was very little service of comfort and safety. Hopefully things get better under new ownership.

Manager was rude when i complained about being lied to about why water was shut off. I was told they are testing the system. It will be on in 20 minutes. Several hours later manager said they were working on the problem and didnt know when it would be back on.ended up having cold water only before i went to bed without being able to shower cuz there was no hot water

I didn’t like that they didn’t give a notice that the water was going to be turned off. I worked out and when I returned to my room I could not take a shower and I had to go to work. Good thing I work in a hospital that I was able to wash up.

My room door didn’t lock properly and since the building is being renovated you’d at times hear the sounds of it. Also this has nothing to do with the room but good luck getting food around there past 10pm, you’ll have to go a bit far from the hotel or order but your options are limited either way

It use to be a Double Tree, so it’s a nice hotel! Hopefully they keep it up to date, and in good condition! Staff was very friendly! Room was nice with comfortable beds!

Hotel is in need of an upgrade and was in fact in the middle of a renovation. Limited parking. Front entrances were not all in use. Desk clerk was friendly and helpful, found a room on first floor at my request. Room needs more usb ports. Bed was very comfortable. Did not appreciate the connecting door to another room.

It was a decent hotel. Got what I paid for. However I wish it was advertised that the breakfast wasn’t free. It cost $21 for some measly breakfast buffet and baked goods. Definitely not worth the money.

The room was not cleaned properly, it seems as though all they do is make the bed, no dusting, no cleaning the tub/shower, no cleaning the sink or toilet. I only stayed one night, and would NOT stay again.

Best stay in Columbus

Good experience, the hotel where I stayed doubletree hotel by Hilton on 175 Hutchinson ave Columbus Ohio will be changing to Wilhelm so hopefully they stay as good

Everything was great. The manager is over the top nice and friendly. Only downside of this hotel is breakfast is not included.

Hotel couldn't find our Expedia reservation and Expedia was no help.

They didn’t want to put towels out in the pool area. Staff didn’t clean up some kind of dirty, but it was adequate for what I needed. Enjoyed it.

We had a comfortable one night stay. We loved the hot tub!

The front desk staff was beyond friendly and accommodating!! The property is under renovations but it was quiet. The only complaint would be the breakfast, at $21 a person it was severely lacking to what other hotels that I have stayed at offer for free breakfast.

This property is definitely from a bygone era. A hidden jem. Would highly recommend.

My wife’s car wouldn’t start in the morning and Terry their maintenance guy jump started her car instead of calling a tow truck. The lady at the front desk Aleesha went above and beyond making sure she and my daughters were cared for.

First room we checked into smelled of cigarette smoke terribly. After calling front desk, they did move us. Rooms are not very clean, very dated.

Pool and hot was nice we had a great time

Breakfast is $20/person and the restaurant bar in the lobby is pricey. I would recommend DoorDash or takeout instead.

Dirty, horrible smell

Property is being renovated so it a little out of sorts. Room was nice and a great price. Breakfast was horrible.

No hot water, lamps didn't work, TV didn't work

I can see the potential in the property. We have the opportunity to stay anywhere donut it’s the stall that keeps u coming back

Pros- front desk employees were great. Cons- smelled like wet dogs, loud construction, elevators gave a unsafe feel with the jerking and clanking noises, bathtubs were decorated in black mold, the hair on the drain was gross, the mildew in the tile is nasty, tiny cramped room, broken furniture, plugs don’t work, no hand soap, paper thin walls, curtains have water stains or I hope that was water….Overall the worst Embassy Suites ever.

Staff was supper helpful. Would highly recommend.
