Excellent!! Would definitely stay again, great for the family!!

The property was great, big enough for our family of five, clean and walkable to most places. There were excellent food options on the same street as the apartment which made eating with small children really simple!Would definitely return as a great base for Paris and travel in and out of gard du nord.

Hidden gem in a delightful neighborhood

For a family of 4 with 2 school-aged kids, this was a great find. The apart-hotel had some of the comforts of home while having an ideal location. It was a nice Parisian city experience worth repeating! The good: there *is* someone at the lobby and at check-in during normal business hours, the bldg is minutes away from bakeries, markets, metro stations, and many bistros/cafes. The cons: hard to reach a person by phone. Need to check in 3 days before start of the visit.

Very efficient

This place worked out perfectly for us. We went to Paris for a 5 day vacation with the typical tourists plans to visit the Lourve, Eiffel Tower and the other popular destinations. Two reasons this place worked for us is that the rooms are like apts, ie, comes with a kitchen which was convenient for breakfasts and holding snacks and drinks. Hosts were super friendly, English speakers and helpful with answering all of our questions. The other reason was the location. Yes there are other hotels closer to some of the tourist spots but we enjoy immersing ourselves into the culture of our destination. The area is surrounded by shops, cafes and restaurants (just like much of Paris) but without the noise and crowds and foreigners by being closer to a tourist stop. There is an added experience by living closer with the locals, which is something I suggest to all travelers.

We stayed as a family of five. This was a clean, quiet retreat after sightseeing. It is on an adorable street and everything you would need is right there, including a metro stop at the end of the street. This met all our needs and was very nice. I would return.

Out of all my Paris visits, Cadet Residence has been the best experience in terms of having a flat/apartment like experience. The check in host was hospitable and professional. From calling, it was possible to check in early. Just be considerate to not rush the cleaning staff. The location sits on a quaint bustling street in the morning with local pastries, coffee shops, and eats. It's accessible to walk around my favorite areas of Paris without much need of a metro. Taxis services can run about €62 to/from the airport. The apartment lobby had a laundry mat. The flat was spacious and felt private to not feel so enclosed in a small hotel. Well recommended and hope I can get a spot for my next stay.

We arrived at 630 pm which was beyond the check in time but Phillipe was waiting for us to give us keys and helped us with our luggage as there was no lift. Very kind! We absolutely loved our unit. It was stylish and just what my teen daughter and I needed. Lots of good bed space with a bedroom and two pullout couches. Cute kitchenette! Everything one would need. Safe, quiet. Right on Rue Cadet- lots of bakeries, restaurants! The Vietnamese place next door was absolutely delicious- don’t miss this place! Grocery store near by (frangprix). Close to metro 7 & 9. Definitely recommend this place!

Comfortable stay

We enjoyed our stay, the lady in the reception was very helpful and let us check in early. The only negative is the bad smells coming from the bathroom sink. Otherwise this place is perfect for us. And will be happy to stay again next time we visit Paris.

The rooms are ok except the light sensors everywhere was not pleasant walking in to a dark hallway. The entrence of the hotel is sketchy not appealing. It defiantly needs a good facelift.

Cadet Residence is unpromising to look at -- one enters through a gate on rue Cadet, and through a courtyard surrounded by unprepossessing buildings. But the welcome is professional and friendly, greeted by the irrepressible Philippe who provides lots of good advice for those arriving after the gate closes at 6pm. The unit itself is very large; it even boasts a comfortable "separate" bedroom. The a/c is good and the wi-fi reliable. Very secure, as attested by the need to use one's keycard frequently, and, best of all, in the busy and varied little rue Cadet, a fifteen minute walk from Galeries Lafayette and the Opera, where there are several cafes, wine shops, etc., and a few steps from two nearby fully-equipped grocery stores so we could cook if we wished. A great find -- not cheap, but in keeping with hotels nearby -- and you are in Paris!

Clean aparthotel in GREAT location

The room was clean and spacious with a decently stocked kitchenette and they offer an additional 'welcome' package with some essential food supplies which is handy. Staff were friendly and helpful but the best thing by far is the location. Great part of Paris and lots of excellent food options on your doorstep. Will stay again.

Pretty nice spot right next to Cadet metro. Good value for the space and also has a mini fridge, which is nice for snacks and drinks. No complaints here.

Excellent stay

Only stayed for a night but will stay again next time. Excellent set up with all amenities in the apartment. Clean tidy and convenient. One thing I am always worried about while staying in apartments are the cleaning fees. But in this case, because I was only staying one night, they didnt charge any cleaning fees.

Property is immaculate. Apartment had everything we needed for a week long trip to Paris. Many close restaurants and bakeries to choose from. Close to the train and all other amenities.

A perfect Parisian experience

What an excellent place to stay. The street scape was beautiful. The properly quiet with block out blinds. They do need a laundry as this was a bit of inconvenience. But close to the metro close to super markets close to everything. Worth spending more to stay here and closer to everything ! Loved it and will stay again !

Great Hotel with all you need out the front door.

We had a wonderful time. Two moms four teen girls. We loved the location. Very cute street with everything you need with in a block or two...…….Grocery, pharmacy, metro restaurants, boulangerie patisseries, etc. We could walk many places too and always felt safe. The kitchen was nice to have for left overs and for when we wanted snacks, or happy hour.

Must stay on your Paris trip

What a great hotel. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The location was amazing. I would wake up every morning and walk right outside the hotel to a bakery for my croissants and coffee. The hotel was within walking distance of shops, restaurants and many sights. I’ll be staying here again next time we visit.

Great stay.

Great stay. Clean and quiet. Lots of space for our family. The area has a wide variety of restaurants to choose from and is close to two metro stops. I found check in quite confusing as the access gate was closed when we arrived. Thankfully someone opened it for us. Grateful for the air conditioning and separate toilet.

Location Location Location

We stayed at the Cadet Residence for 5 nights while we traveled through Europe. I have to say that the place exceeded my expectations. The location is unbeatable. Right outside the entrance to the building there are a bunch of restaurants, bars, nightlife, and the Metro is just at the end of the block. The apartment itself fit four adults comfortably. It came equipped with anything we needed in the kitchen, a bathroom with separate shower and toilet, one separate queen bed, and two fold out couches. The only issue I had was during check in. We arrived right before the 4pm check in time and the room wasn’t cleaned until 6pm. It was a bit annoying having to travel all morning and then wait until 6pm for them to get someone to clean our room. With that said though the gentlemen and two ladies that were working the front desk during our stay were very pleasant. They let us not only store our luggage when we arrived early but also on our last day after checking out when we had an afternoon flight. I would definitely stay here again when in Paris.

Great Location

The hotel was very nice and quiet. We were able to park our car right at the hotel. We'll never drive a car through Paris again....ever! That is a Paris problem not a hotel problem. Right outside the hotel is a great walkable neighborhood with tons of shopping and food choices. The metro was only a couple of minutes away. Very easy to catch a ride anywhere in the city. The man who checked us in and then out was wonderful and kind.

Cadet Residence exceeded our expectations. From the moment we booked this hotel the level of service was phenomenal. They took the time to find out about us prior to our arrival so that everything would be perfect. Front desk attendant assisted us with any requests we had from printing tickets, arranging taxis and providing area information. The room was clean, spacious (family of four), updated bathroom. The building was secure and safe. I would highly recommend.

Very comfortable, safe, and quite place to stay, especially if you travel with family and intend to stay more than couple days. I liked clean, spacious, and lovely designed room that was, in fact, studio-type apartment with fully equipped kitchenette. Good location with many restaurants and grocery stores around. Polite i helpful staff. My special thanks to Victoria, who helped me to find a ride in stressful situation: I had a meeting with a client outside Paris just on the day of the taxi drivers' strike. She did her best to make the meeting reality. However, I faced some troubles with poor WiFi. I hope it was a temporary issue.

All 3 days anf no one changed the trash or towels.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was as pictured. There were plenty of restaurants on the street and markets. The train was easily accessible from this location.

I had a very comfortable 10 day stay. The studio was large, kitchen was pretty well equiped and everything was comfortable. There was a problem was water heater leaking through the floors but they fixed it in a few days. Overall, I highly recommend.

We stayed 12 nights in our “apartment in Paris”. For us, it was the perfect blend of home/hotel. Just enough space and great location in a quiet street. Friendly and helpful desk staff. Clean and bright apartment with well equipped kitchen. Would recommend and will definitely stay again. Only negative for us was the bed was too firm -

Spacious apartment in excellent location.

Just what we needed

we have a family of five and this was just what we needed. centrally located. the facility was clean and the room was very well laid out.

The hotel could not help with the construction noise next door so we don’t hold that against anyone. Putting that aside it was a quiet professionally run hotel. Staff was cheerful,helpful and happy to be there. They gave us assistance, information and ideas freely. Separate sleeping areas was great. Separate toilet from shower key to more than two sharing the place. Great restaurants and grocery and laundrymat and metro all one end or the other of our blockn or on the street or next one over. Perfect. It was nice to see the locals having a drink or meal and laughing and sharing in the little cafes on the street. Set the tone for us and we had a great time. One dark spot, had someone reach into one of our purses and pull out a wallet on the metro. Luckily our quick thinking friend knocked it out of the thief’s/girls hand and we got it back. Glad we stayed where we did because we did not feel this kind of threat in the area around the hotel. Excellent pastries right out the door or also half way up the street.

The hotel location, staff and overall experience was as expected. The hotel was located within 10-15 minute drive from the Paris attractions and had many great restaurant options around the area. Would definitely recommend to a friend/family member traveling to Paris!

Not great

Hotel was under renovation during the stay. There were very noisy occupants in the room directly above which meant I was unable to sleep. There was no one in reception overnight to assist with the noise problem. I was so desperate that I checked out one day early. Very disappointed .

Great value for Paris

The place was in works during our stay, coverings on the floors and in the lifts but this did not affect us at all. Bed was comfortable, area great and the apartment very clean and more spacious than a standard Parisian hotel. What would be good though was to have housekeeping included in the price rather than have to pay extra if we wanted it. We would stay there again

Good location, convenient to Metro

The hotel doesn’t look fancy from outside, but the room is big enough for our family 3 adults. We like the kitchenette, everything is very handy. The heater is pretty warm, so is the hot water. There’s backery right outside gate. The room is bigger than regular hotel room. It’s a good choice to stay in Paris.

Disastrous 21st birthday celebrationso.

We never ever complain about hotels but on thus occasion we have too. Location good, clean hotel but the walks are paperthin. We have children but the room above us had a family and they were up at 4.30 to 7.30 am every morning stamping around throwing toys screaming . We informed the hotel who said we had to wait for the manager. When we returned at night we were informed we could have another room downstairs. There were 4 if us as it was my daughters 21st birthday. The room only had one bed made up we were informed that we had to go back to our room and take the bedding from there to make up the other bed. So two of us had to go back to another sleepless night. We were promised by the hotel staff that the family would leave on the third night so we could get some sleep. This was a lie. We had to call the lady on reception up ton listen to the noise . A 21st my daughter will remember for all the wrong reasons.

The location is excellent and close to the metro station

Birthday treat

Stay and accommodation was excellent. Would like to draw particular attention to Youssef who staffed the reception on our arrival. We arrived late having suffered a puncture and had to limp the last 10 miles to the apartments. Youssef stayed late, helped us to remove our roof box, and guided us to the nearest car park (as we had ommitted to select the parking required option) and no more parking spaces were left. Thankfully for Youssef the fear if a stressful arrival was completely negated by his willingness to go the extra mile (and hour) to help us out and to see my family safely ensconced in the room. We cannot praise and thank Youssef and Cosy Cadet enough. Excellent location, superb staff and fantastic accommodation. Would definitely recommend Cosy Cadet and would stay there again willingly.

Room Burgled

Unfortunately any positive notes on this hotel are overshadowed by our experience of finding our room had been entered during the day while we were out, and a mobile phone and our empty suitcase had been stolen. After a sleepless night in a room of compromised security, the following morning we had to wait for the Police to arrive, then had to attend a local Police station to file a report... then wait an hour to be interviewed and go through all the details again. All plans for that day had to be completely rearranged and a museum we had pre-booked, (and pre-paid) we were unable to attend. After such a significant incident I would have expected the hotel management to want to talk to us directly?... but to date the only correspondence we have received from the Hotel is a chirpy email thanking us for our stay and asking us to fill in a satisfaction survey.... seriously?! I would suggest that rather than spending money refurbishing rooms (which appeared to be happening while we were there), the security and safety of the occupants of this hotel should be prioritised. Might I also suggest that getting the cctv system working would be a good start?! A disappointing and unnerving experience.

Nice hotel very handy for Metro station

Very nice hotel, very handy for access to the Metro station to the fabulous sights of Paris. Close by are some excellent restaurants. The reception at the hotel Cadet were wonderful, very pleasant and helpful and spoke excellent English. We would highly recommend it for anyone visiting Paris

Excellent hotel.

Me my wife and our 15 year old daughter have just returned from a 3 day Paris city break and the Cosy Cadet exceeded our expectations. The rooms are set out like apartments with a kitchen fitted out with toaster, kettle, coffee maker and microwave. All possible utensils are supplied also. The room also has a separate WC and bathroom. We could not fault the room. Staff were brilliant and were always on hand for any queries about the hotel and could be relied upon for any tips about Paris, excursions, restaurants etc. For us the best part was the location. The Cosy Cadet is situated just off Rue Lafayette and is so central that most of the main sites of Paris are within walking distance. If walking is not your thing then the Metro is 100 yards from the hotel. Yes the hotel has a couple of rough edges that will need a wee paint or patch and there is the odd bit of noise from the street. But it’s a city centre hotel, if you want to be in the thick of the city then you will hear the flow of city life. I only add these points as I was wracking my brain for some negatives to balance my review. We loved this place and will be returning. Happy holidays.

A convenient place to stay

So close (within walking distance) to station, tour pick-ups, shops, landmarks, bars and restaurants. The staff went out of their way to help us, they truly know what good customer service is about.

Large room with plenty of space, which was perfect for a vacation with a little toddler. The hotel is located in a great little street with patisseries, bars and everything else you need. Metro station is within a walking distance.

We were looking for accommodation in Paris with kitchenette near a metro station and this fit our needs nicely. Our room overlooked a quiet courtyard on a street with many shops, bakeries, produce and butcher stores.

Good Hotel

The hotel was great. Very close to the metro, which made moving around easy. Service was ok. Rooms and bathroom were spacious, and has a good kitchen. I would certainly come back to this hotel. Thank u for everything

Good value, good location

Our apartment was in good condition and seemed clean. The apartment is located close to the metro and Gare du Nord train station, but the Louvre and Notre Dam were within long walking distance. I stayed at a hotel in Paris that was nearly twice the price as Cosy's, and Cosy's was friendlier, had nicer facilities, and is in a better location. What I did not like about Cosy's were some difficulties with the cleaning staff. They did not speak English, though that was to be expected. The other problem is that they seemed uncoordinated and did not care for our privacy. They would knock and enter our room right away without waiting a few seconds for us to get to the door (what if we were naked, ha ha ha). And on one day our room was visited by 3 different cleaners at different times. It seemed as if no one knew that the room had already been cleaned.

Dirty throughout, flaking ceilings, c'est la vie.

There is a lot of potential but the room ceiling was flaking off, the bathroom was filthy, the dishes dirty, white stains on the floor (hopefully soap scum not bodily fluids), and the kitchens do not have either a kettle or toaster. Also, no oven. The room keys are old and demagnetized. With this said, the staff are extremely friendly but the check-in process, housekeeping, and maintenance are fairly poorly organized.

Family stay in Paris

Really good location in Paris wih parking. The apartment was a good size for a family and the children's beds were proper beds in a separate area rather than a sofa bed. It was really good value for money. Our dog was welcome and the staff were very good.

Good location but you'll need hearplugs

Big studio flat but tired condition overall. Kitchen not well equipped: no sharp knives or wine glasses for instance. Main problem is a total lack of sound insulation, so you'll hear the ppl upstairs walking back and forth, kids screaming from next door, wtc. There are also major works right outside starting at 8am.

Large room but need some update

The room is big with 4 single beds. Living is large. The furniture and room need update. Not clean maybe because it is old. Bathroom is large but the tub is hard to use. It has partial glass door and the water flashes outside. I have to clean up the bathroom floor every shower.

needs maintainence

Location is good. very close to metro station and the buses there can get to many places of interest. 1st day arrived. heater not working, have to sleep in a very cold room. Kitchen Sink choked. no maintainence staff at night . 2nd day heater still not working , a portable 1 was brought to the room. 2nd day, basin choked. 4th day induction cooker not working and have to wait more than 2 hours for hot water supply. Other than location and staff is good, not very ideal.

Family average hotel

This is a economical hotel. The hotel updated the room furniture but past guests have ruined tables with water rings on tables etc. There were other complaints of hall & street noise from other guests. I think we were the only guests on the floor so the only noise was the roof dripping into the room vent. Note cosy's, send your maintenance people to your roof, you have a roof leak. The halls are badly stained but carpets are vacuumed. Front counter staff were helpful with directions. we were not given information about the lobby breakfast so we ate elsewhere. There are no amenities. As for the kitchen, there are pots and dishes everything you need to heat something. We had no problems with our fridge turning off when we left for the day. The location was pretty good. No complaints, I got what I paid for and we knew this was a basic hotel. I probably would spend a little more on my hotel next time and book something a little nicer although this hotel was fine

The staff were very courteous, professional and helpful. The neighborhood was great-lots of restaurants, places to have a glass of wine/beer and bakeries. The room was comfortable, clean and met our needs. There was a metro station at the end of the block. The courtyard could have used some attention but there was some construction occurring that may have impacted its appearance.

Great stay at the Cosy Residence. 3 children and 2 adults in the apartment. Lots of space, great kitchen facilities. Comfortable beds, plenty of room for clothes etc. Useful that the toilet was separate to the bathroom.

Great stay for family of 5

There's an extra security gate that gets locked at night which made us feel more comfortable given the current high security state in Paris. The staff was friendly and helped us with transportation. Great boulangerie (bakeries) directly across the street and down the block, as well as other good restaurants within a 5-minute walk. The size of the room was great for a family of 5. The value for what we paid was great.

Generally positive experience, very helpful staff.

Our party of 6 adults stayed in 3 rooms - 3-2-1 persons per room. Three in a room was cramped with little privacy. Many positives: refrigerator with freezer, air conditioning, comfortable beds, WiFi availability, very helpful front desk staff. Shower was very slippery, and staff obtained a bath mat for us - greatly appreciated. Negatives: No English language channel on TV. A lot of noise from other apartments. No washer-dryer. Fairly expensive.

Good location - not the best condition

We liked the location. The Rue Cadet is a great street - groceries, bakeries, a cheese shop, restaurants and bookstores -- along with the Freemasonry museum. The staff were nice. The room is spacious - we are five and fit well without being crowded. There was a fridge and stove and microwave and some dishes. They provided dish soap which was great. The room was cleaned each day - towels if you wanted. The bathroom smelled very odd - probably drains. The room looked very worn - cabinets were ill fitting and had openings between them and at the kick plates, scorch marks on the dining table, crushed food in the seat cushions of the chairs. There really is no insulation between rooms - we thought the kids upstairs were our own. But they were kids so went to bed on the early side. It would have been a problem if they were adults who liked to stay up late and socialize. On the first day, with the smell, we might have switched hotels -- we'd paid in advance. Turning on the air in the room cured the smell. Before our arrival we received a message from the manager asking us various questions and offering things like an electrical converter in the room. We answered and took them up on the offer. Unfortunately nothing came of this - it was perhaps automated and unattended. A shame to set up an unnecessary expectation and then fail to meet it.

Lovely apartment well located in Paris. Great space for Paris but rooms are not soundproofed from floors above. We could hear everything the people above did. Absolutely necessary to have ear plugs. Otherwise no complaints. Kitchen is equipped well. Bed comfortable. Bathroom great.

Good room but beware!

We booked this room because the website said that the cleaning services were included. On arrival there is a sign on the kitchen saying that dish cleaning is customer's responsability. Also if you don't leave the kitchen cleaned on your departure they can charge you 25Euros. The "fully equipped kitchen" basically is a microwave and a kettle. When we tried to talk to the manager regarding this issue she had the receptionist say that iot wasnot her problem, and it was the house rules. Room is spacious and clean. I wouldn't book it again as my idea of having fun on holidays is not cleaning the kitchen and doing the dishes

Excellent location for families and sightseeing

This hotel was well situated near a metro station and shops to go out and buy early morning croissants! Hotel staff were friendly and the area felt safe. We thought the rooms were a bit 'tired' and needing a bit of TLC in places but the beds were comfortable and essentials there. The kitchen area is really only suited to very basic meals, there is no oven, just a microwave/grill and limited work surfaces. We stayed in the larger apartment as a family of 5 and were not aware from the photos how open plan it is, a wardrobe seperates the two main sleeping area to partition them. Noise from the location was very minimal but we could hear people in the next door apartment as is often the case in hotels. Overall the apartment was perfect for our needs for sightseeing and shopping and whilst I have highlighted some room for improvement we thought it was excellent value for money in a capital city.

Hidden gem

Very comfortable stay in largest suite I ever seen in Paris. Location of this hotel was very convenient as It is close to metro station and restaurants.

A delightful experience!

The location of Cosy's Residence Cadet is ideal. It's a very short walk from the cadet metro station and the neighbourhood is safe. It's on the third day that we realised how many small cute things there were to see around the area. The room was really clean and spacious to say the least. We were able to leave our luggage there before checking in and after checking out, which made it easier for us to start exploring quickly. I will definitely be staying here again!

Large room in convenient location.

Hotel is not in a glamorous part of Paris but is all the same very well situated (in between Montmartre and the Opera) with a metro stop only a block away. Large room good for families.

Great location, but that's all

The location is amazing and we walked everywhere. The room was a good size but we can't say much else to sell this hotel. The floor is tiled throughout so it had a cold feel to it. This also meant you can hear every footstep and movement from the floor above. We unfortunately had guests above us who sounded like they were moving furniture in high heels until the early hours. And up again very early which really disturbed our sleep. We were told to dial 9 for reception but as that didn't work and neither did the generic speed dials on the phone, I had to go down to reception in the night to complain about the noise. On our last day a different receptionist told us it was 9999. The hotel website states there are international TV channels, but there wasn't a single one that wasn't in French. A nice lady at reception did apologies for the issues on checkout, and advised the hotel is due a refurbishment very soon. Worth checking on this before booking.

2 nights at Cosy cadet

The room is large but feels very dated. Walls are extremely this so noise is a problem and the room generally feels a bit tatty and unclean. All in all, you would expect a lot more from a 4 star hotel. The pictures on the website must have been taken a long time ago!

Helpful staff and great location.

Close to the metro, St. Lazare train station, Gare du nord train station, Gallery Lafayette. Big and clean spacious studio room with a kitchenette. Excellent customer service. I will go back again and highly recommended this place. The staff are helpful and friendly.

This Residence is better than hotel

Much better than my expectation. Very nicely located on a small street, lined with many restaurants, near the Cadet metro station and Gare du Nord (Eurostar). Very secure at night, when the gate was close from the street. For shopping, the department stores (such as Galeries Lafayette) are only 15 mins walk away. My suite is really large, as described. Although nothing luxurious like in a hotel room, this residence room provided the family a very "comfy" and "homey" feeling. Slept very well every night. Will definitely come back to stay at this place when visiting Paris again.

Family trip

Very convenient location with a metro station close by. It is in a nice street with several cafes/bistros. Staff were vety nice.

Central location, excellent for relaxed tourists

Really enjoyable stay in Paris, easily accessible hotel from the Metro and walkable to the Louvre (20mins) or Opera (10mins) as long as you have working legs.

Good location, but not cozy at all!

Convenient location. Hated that hotel was in between buildings. Hallways and lobby were dark and dingy... And looked like a 1980's disco club.

Great place.

It was a perfect place for us. Very central located and clean. The distribution of the room was perfect for my family of 5. We are happy and we could come back to this place.

Nice sized rooms for Paris, but a little pricey

For mid-priced rooms, the studio and apartment rooms we rented were nice sized with many nice amenities (refrigerator, stove, dining room table) The staff at the front desk was very good and willing to provide assistance and recommendations. The rooms however, were not very clean and the furnishings were old and well used. The bedding was acceptable by European standards, but the pillows and the linens left a lot to be desired. We stayed here because we were told that it was close to Gare St. Lazar, but not really. Easy access to metro system, but not much to see in the area closer to the hotel.

Terrific hotel

Had a fantastic stay at Cosy's. We loved the room and the air conditioning was great. The staff were helpful and friendly and hotel was on a great street with amazing shops. We could not have asked for a better place for our trip to Paris
