What most people don't know about this hotel...

Pool area was a very relaxing area to hang out at. But the best part was the indoor pool with strong jets in the Wellness area ;) It's by the gym. Breakfast buffet was a great deal.

Ils ont décidé d'arrêter l'air conditionné parce que c'était le 1er novembre et que pour eux l'été était fini, peu importe la météo, les 2 dernières journées il faisait très chaud, notre chambre était plein soleil toute la journée et impossible de dormir dans de telles conditions.

Not good 4star hotell

Hotelroom okay however the floor was broken in many places, nice bathroom. The restaurant needs an update, same food every day on the vegeterian side and there were pizzas and french fries but no really healthy food if you do not want to eat sallad every day. To many people in the dining room, we called it the COVID incubator and we were sick most of our holiday, everyone was coughin and sneezing and the tables were to close will not go back to this hotel even if the view from the room and closeness to the beach is perfect.

Warm welcome at 1am checkin very clean hotel

Very helpful night staff as we did not get to hotel till 1.30 am and they made us a pot of tea even though bar was closed.

Breakfast was poor. Food was cheap quality. We were Bed & breakfast.

Only stayed the one night but staff were very friendly, room had a great sea view and was clean and modern. Hotel close to the airport which made the early airport transfer a lot easier. I would stay at this hotel again Peter (Newcastle)

Vi bokade detta hotell eftersom det hade fått så bra recensioner. Hotellet ligger nära flygplatsen, ca 5 min med bil och ca 3 min från stranden. Vi hade hyrbil och vi lyckades få parkering i närheten av hotellet alla dagarna. Vår vistelse skedde i slutet av juni och vi bokade hotellet flera månader i förväg. Vi var tvungna att boka två rum eftersom familjen är 4 personer, så skrev vi i våra önskemål att vi behövde rum i närheten av varandra. Det fick vi inte. Vi blev utplacerade på 5:e respektive 8:e våningen. Som kompensation skulle vi få havsutsikt, men det visade sig att ALLA rum hade havsutsikt. Rummen var ganska små och inte så välstädade. Hår och smuts i hörn och badrum. Sängarna var dock helt okej att sova i. Svårt att ställa in AC och den låter högt, så ta med öronproppar. Vi hade ett kylskåp på ena rummet, men det fungerade inte. På andra rummet fungerade det. Vi hade halvpension. Maten var okej, framförallt första dagen. Därefter var det inte så mycket variation. Näst sista dagen satt det en jättestor kackerlacka i taket i restaurangen. Det låg även en i lampan. En gäst sa till, men personalen gjorde inget. Dem var inte kvar dagen efter, så förhoppningsvis togs dem bort senare. Poolen var helt okej och det var inga problem att få solstolar. Vi beställde lunch två tillfällen vid poolen. Första gången blev vi jättenöjda, men andra gången blev det fel mat och inte lika välsmakande. Området runt hotellet är okej, med restauranger och turistaffärer. Snarare 3 än 4 stars.

This is a decent hotel, large room with big fridge and safe. Air con was not properly working, but this wasn't a major issue, as you could simply open the balcony door. There was a charge for safe key (€18 for a week). Breakfast was great with plenty of choices, dinner was not that great, very repetitive and not mainly vegetarian options. Plenty of restaurants nearby, and several supermarkets within walking distance. Buses to Palma or the airport literally stop in front of the hotel. I would stay again.

Great proximity to the beach, boardwalk, restaurants, bars and shops. Excellent pool and lounge areas, extensive breakfast buffet and optional dinner.

The hotel was conveniently located close to the beach & restaurants, the facilities were clean and well serviced by staff, and the price was very affordable.

Great hotel

Great hotel, very nice for our holiday

Good location if all you care about is getting around the island and seeing the various locations. If you want a hotel that is quiet, has comfy beds, and has a luxury feel I wouldn’t recommend. Beds were like concrete, pillows the same. Cockroach came through our sink and staff were hesitant to remove/do anything about it. Some nights there was a considerable amount of noise coming from outside. Shower room was okay, modern. Breakfast was okay, likely not as many options as you would hope though. Just the basics. Long story short - this 4 star hotel is more like a 3 star hotel but excellent if you just need a cheap place to have as your base camp while you explore!

Very close to the airport and very easy access to bus transportation! Also sooo many restaurants to choose from by the beach. Staff could have been a bit more helpful, but that’s okay!

Excellent accommodation

I was visiting friends on the island and just need a good and comfortable hotel to sleep in. I was very satisfied. It would have been beneficial to have had tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

Hotel was faultless. Comfy beds, clean, nice food quality drinks and service. Excellent location, close to beach, bars, restaurants and bus stops right outside 👌

Ideal for a week

We had a fantastic 8 day stay at this hotel. The location was excellent with easy access to the airport using the local bus service. The room (8th floor) was ideal and big enough for our needs. Breakfast buffet was always good with a wide selection of food. Waiting staff and particularly the bar staff were wonderful. Overall, highly recommend staying here. The highlight for us was the bar staff (Alba, Eva, Sylvia & Carlos) all deserve a pay rise as they were so friendly and welcoming.

I had a wonderful stay here for a week. It was off season so quiet and peaceful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean with a very nice shower and an awesome view of the sea & pool. My only reserve is that the outdoor pool was not heated so very cold and the indoor was also fairly cold. But I braved the cold and enjoyed swims. The buffet is nice and what you would expect. It’s only a 2 min walk to the beach with quite a few lovely spots for lunch. I would not rely on the late checkout they say they offer. Being off season, the hotel was quite clearly half empty but when I asked if I could do late checkout they said no and claimed 30 people were waiting on room. Despite this I had a late flight and stayed by the pool all day looking up and the clearly empty rooms (it’s obvious which rooms are vacant due to curtains being closed etc). I would have been grateful for the option of late check out as advertised by the hotel. Apart from this I did have a lovely stay here and would recommend it.

Lovely hotel. Clean room, great view, friendly staff and just a 2 min walk to the beach. The bus stop right outside is very convenient to get into palma. The food was nice and the head chef is so lovely to everyone. My only reserve is that the pool isn’t heated which meant it was very cold and the indoor pool wasn’t very warm either. But I did have a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again.

Nice people

The hotel was very good. Large restaurant area provided a very good breakfast. The hotel has bus stops right outside making access into Palma and to the airport very easy. Only downsides were (1) there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, (2) the AC was very warm (I couldn't turn it down) and (3) in order to use the in-room safe there was an additional payment of €7 per day. I had never encountered this before. I didn't need to use the safe so it was ok but for those who do it's a hidden charge you could do without. Overall these were not huge issues for me but worth mentioning in this review.

Bardzo sympatyczna obsługa. Hotel dobrze wyposażony, w tym wewnętrzny basen z podgrzewaną wodą i siłownia. Śniadania i kolacje różnorodne. Pokoje z widokiem na morze i bardzo blisko do plaży.

If you want to have a room like a sauna , this is your place . Staff informed that it’s now autumn/winter and no need for air con. Breakfast room was also exceptionally warm

On entering the room: Towels smelled like sweat and were rough with dingy brownish areas. The toilet seat was uncleaned with smudges of God knows what. At 9:30am the cleaner kept knocking down the door to clean the room (checkout is at 11am). I told her I'm not ready, but she came back knocking the door continuously at 10am. The breakfast buffet had lots of food, but very poor quality; and people were coughing and blowing their noses over the food. The problem was how the food was displayed, not the people who needed to cough. Now what was good: Close to the beach, staff are polite and helpful, nice marble finishings, good pool area, easily get a bus in front of the hotel. If you are not too keen on hygiene go for it, if you expect white towels and a clean toilet seat think twice

Amazing value for the price

We arrived at 17h30 in the room. The AC has not been on prior to our arrival and the temperature in the room was 27C and very humid. Turned the AC on, it barely cooled the room to 25C in the morning. For people who cannot sleep at 25 or 26C, avoid this hotel. Other than the temperature issue, all was good, very clean, good beds, Close to the airport and beach.

The BG Java is beautiful . Modern, immaculate and lovely to look at. The staff are attentive, welcoming and helpful. The view of thw sea was juat the icing on the cake. I would recommend to anyone. Fabulous place!

Nice buffet

The sea view was amazing. Very confortable beds. Quiet room. Very nice pool and 5 minutes to the beach. Couldn’t be better. Best of all was the care and kindness of the staff towards my daughter who has disability. We had a great stay.

The rooms were so hot with failing air conditioners. The beds were so hard we couldn’t sleep. There was a loud party outside our room til midnight with a live band. We were exhausted so that didn’t work for us. Clean rooms were nice.

Extremely well located, comfortable bed, and modern facilities. Rooftop pool is a bonus. Only downside is that the bathroom needs repairs : faucets falling apart, water leaking and missing the sliding door for privacy in the bathroom.

It is a nice hotel in general and the position is very good. The area is nice and seems safe. The room is nice but a bit small and the cleaners are perfect (very polite and kind people). Now let's come to the negative points. You say that you have a private parking in the hotel, but 4 parking spaces for 400 rooms I guess is not enough. Indoor swimming pool not very well maintained (hydro massage doesn't work) and also I found the swimming pool a bit dirty. The worst part in my opinion has been the breakfast. Probably the salty choice is fine but for an Italian like me who love the sweet breakfast there was no good choice. I could eat the croissants only on the first day as for the rest of the stay they were so hard (I think they always put the rest of the previous day). There was no jam or hazelnut cream and all selection of no diary milk had a horrible taste. I would never include the breakfast but this is just my opinion!:)

The hotel was in a very convenient area close to transportation and convenient stores. Beautiful beach and boardwalks.

A stone throw away from the beach

Smooth check in/check out process, staff at the reception is very kind and helpful. The hotel is comfortable with spacious areas, the rooms are clean and the view is stunning (from the sea view rooms for sure). Cleaning ladies are super nice, the hotel is spotless! Breakfast offers a lot of options for everyone, the only downside was the coffee (however the bar serves great coffee!). The hotel is in a great location, beach is about 3 mins walk, 15 mins from the airport, bus stops are just across the street. Some members of staff at the pool area could have been a little bit nicer towards guests, but overall we had a great stay, we would definitely return!

Only 4 car park spaces

The main reason I booked this hotel was because it states in their information that they have free parking on site but they have only 4 spaces for a hotel with 249 rooms! What a joke! So we had to find a parking space on the streets which wasn’t an easy task. They charge for you to use the safety box as well and the breakfast is crowded with queues to everything. The room is really tiny not being able to place our suitcases without blocking the way, not practical at all.

Great location

We travelled as a couple and spent 4 nights. The location is perfect. Airport is close by, Bus stop is right outside the main entrance with direct bus taking you to center in 15 minutes, and beach is 2 min walk way. Nice sandy safe beach with lot of options for food and drinks. We found some great bar and food nearby (all walkable). Breakfast spread was good, but then we only ate The rooms are a bit small, but then we only used it for sleeping at night. Missed having a kettle in the room. Everything else was fine.

Super séjour

Nous avons passé un court séjour de quatre nuits dans l’hôtel. Nous sommes arrivées très tard, peu avant minuit, la réception de l’hôtel est ouverte 24h/24 ce qui laisse la possibilité de faire son check-in à tout moment, ce qui est clairement un bon point ! L’hôtel est situé tous près des bus qui permettent de se rendre sur Palma en 20min, les bus sont très réguliers également. A 10 min de l’aéroport de Palma en taxi. Rien a redire sur le séjour, comme promis nous avons eu une chambre avec vue sur plage (et piscine d’ailleurs). La chambre est de taille classique, le nécessaire est à disposition : serviettes, shampoing, gel douche, sèche cheveux, il y a du rangement, le Wi-Fi… La première journée, les boissons dans le frigo sont offertes. Le personnel de ménage passe tous les jours pour changer les serviettes, ce qui est pratique vu qu’il y a la mer. L’hôtel est agréable, d’autant plus avec la présence de piscine intérieure et extérieure, d’un spa et d’une salle de sport. Sans compter la plage qui est a 5min de marche. Le coin est d’ailleurs sympa, avec plusieurs restaurants à 5min, quelques supérettes aussi. J’ai beaucoup apprécié mon séjour chez BG Hôtel Java et je recommande vivement !

We loved our stay at Hotel Java. We were on the 5th floor and had a great view of the ocean. We loved the breakfast and dinner options. Lots to choose from. The bus stop right outside was great. Easy to use. Definitely would stay there again.

Will stay again

Great stay, hotel was tidy and clean. Food was good and location to Palma was close. Parking is very limited (5spots) for the whole hotel. But we managed to have one every day. Staff were very friendly.

Very convenient hotel only a few minutes from the airport. We took full advantage of the city bus (25) express to Palma for dinner. The hotel staff was very helpful and rooms were very clean.

Mycket nöjda. Bott här förut och trivts väldigt bra. Mycket bra frukost och personal. Bäst i utebaren och damen som sköter ägg och bacon och omeletter på frukosten. Helt underbar!! Rena och snygga rum!

Great place to stay and greag location

The best thing about this property is the location. If you want to go to old town, you take directly bus in front the hotel. I found this hotel loud, the isolation of the walls is weak, you can hear next door room and also outside noise…they only provide 5 parking spots on the property otherwise you have to park on the road.. Otherwise the room is clean, walking distance from the beach…

The entire property is great. Lots to offer including a top notch biking facility. Breakfast selection was fantastic! Nearly every option for food was available. Only complaint was that the air conditioning in my room didn't work. Was told by front desk staff that AC get's turned off after the summer season. Bed was comfortable but sleeping tough due to temperature. Regardless, i'd definitely go back.

Unfriendly reception staff. False claims on Expedia about parking - just 4 parking spaces for hundreds of guests, I booked especially for parking. Advertised having a safe in room but no keys.

Good and not so good

Overall, ok..on a positive note..the location ia excellent. Very close to beach and transport links. Airport bus stop is right opposite the hotel. Hotel is very clean. Bar and pool areas are beautiful. Staff are very friendly and helpful..but here's where it goes a bit downhill. The buffet restaurant has an abundance of food choices, but everything is rather bland. It was absolute chaos as they allow too many guests in at a time. Publicity photos show carefully angled photos, but the truth is each bedroom has at least another 100 rooms looking in on you and vice-versa. (See photo). Final issue, check-in is not until 4.00pm.and check-out is 11.00am. This is very bad form and stinks of a Company that doesn't seem prepared to pay for enough cleaning staff.

Excellent location. Only a block away from the beach. Many shops and restaurants on the beachfront within walking distance. Close to the airport. Bus stop in front if you want to take public transportation. There's a little hop-on, hop-off "train" that runs along the beach that leads to more restaurants and shops. Pool was nice. Good breakfast with many options.
