Amazing resort with wonderful staff

I am very picky and do lots of planning before choosing. Ritz surpassed our expectations and we will for sure come back. The staff was incredible and our butlers were top notch. The staff was great with my child’s allergies and made us feel very welcome. The gym was also really nice with lots of great machines and free weights. We will return for sure!

Absolutely phenomenal property and service

Beautiful property and very quiet. Family friendly but not really a great pace to bring a 3 year old.

Fantastic stay

Zadun is a beautiful location with amazing landscaping and views and well trained, kind and professional staff. I and my kids were called by our name in every staff encounter. The beach has huge waves creating a spectacular booming crash on the shore, but that also makes it very dangerous for kids. There are amazing pools kept at a perfect temperature instead. The spa has excellent facilities if you book a treatment and programs for very light yoga and meditation that are mostly complimentary. Food is top notch and top priced. The wine list was not reasonable price for the selection, so I had cocktails top priced as well, but discouraged over drinking (at least for me) and were delicious. The best amenities for me, however, were the ambassadors program for the kids and our tosanari. My kids were spoiled by Zadun and treated as respectfully as I was treated at all times. My kids' special requests were always accommodated. My son got a few bug bites from playing in the sand and when I asked for advice about them, I was surprised to find a medication for him in the room with a handwritten note wishing him a speedy recovery from the bite accompanied by a paint set and activity pad. On this note I would say to adults only travellers who don't like kids, there are rooms with privacy, plunge pools and a responsive room service team where you can relax in peace. Zadun is a great choice for your next luxury vacation that I strongly recommend.

Uniquely beautiful property. Food was very expensive but very good. They made accommodation for my mobility scooter but I wouldn’t say that the resort is set up for/conducive for a disabled person. That area could use some updating.

The rooms are unique and incredible with private luxury. Service is top notch and amazing. Food is delicious but so expensive and way over priced to be honest. The only complaints were that we wish the pools were a tad cooler, felt like swimming in bath water, and that the adults only pool was larger.

Paradise with the highest level of service.

This resort is amazing. The rooms, the facilities and the incredible service. Zadun has a special option for kosher guests and the food and service was amazing. The spa experience was breathtaking . Wonderful experience and hope to return.

Zadun is a tranquil setting, meticulously cared for, and beautifully designed. The team is extremely thoughtful and delivers the highest level of hospitality. The restaurants, pools, and spa are a delight. I would highly recommend it to families or individuals looking for a relaxing getaway.

This is HEAVEN ON EARTH and I mean it - the customer service and attention to detail are out of this world!

The Zadun Ritz Carleton is an extremely elegant and secluded property with top notch service and excellent food. The grounds are amazing and the dining options don't disapoint. If privacy and peace are important to you I can't imagine finding a more ideal hotel. The tradeoff to this is that you are removed from the town and you will need transportation if you want to do anything off property.

Everything was amazing

One of the very best hotels in Cabo. From the grounds to the pools to the food to the service, everything was perfect.

This was our third time back at Zadun and it’s absolutely amazing. The grounds are stunning, the service is above and beyond, and the rooms are the best you will find in Cabo. We are counting down the days until we come back.

Fabulous stay. By far the most beautiful hotel room I’ve had the pleasure of staying in. Food and beverage at all locations was excellent. Staff was attentive. Won’t disappoint!

Service

We had an incredible experience at Zandun! The property is gorgeous, the amenities are top-shelf, and the service is first-class! Not to mention incredible the restaurants and 24-hour room service. They have a great workout facility (and protein bar) if you exercise. We cannot say enough about how wonderful our experience was. We also need to recognize our Tosani (Nicolas) and beach concierge (Amyris). They were there at every turn and anticipated every need we had. Highly recommend Zandun a Ritz Carlton Reserve!

Great place

Level of service is out of this world. Food is good, but it still is Mexico food.

My wife and I take a trip to Cabo on a yearly basis. For the last 15 plus years we have only stayed at another 5 star resort and residences. This is our first time staying at another property, but this time with the kids as well. I can't say enough about this resort. Probably tied with the best resort we have ever stayed at. The property is immaculate, staff and service was incredible, and the food was top notch. Our family excursions for beach day and whale watching, along with all our transportation needs were taken care of down to every detail. Our "Tosoanis" (or personal concierges) were incredible as well. Food was top notch. In my reviews of hotels, I usually will at least mention at least one flaw, and I honestly can't think of one. Also, this is our first time staying farther north near San Jose Del Cabo. It was a pleasure to be so close to the town and be able to go there for a few dinners off property. San Jose is so much nicer and family friendly that going to actual Cabo farther down south. Cannot recommend this property more.

We had a fabulous anniversary stay at Zadun. Edgar and Mara were very responsive and attentive. They surprised us with so many “extras” that made our time there so special. They entire staff on the property was amazing. We will definitely return!

Limited dining options, really missed La Taqueria in 2022 was open more and a highlight of the property. TV didn't work for the room. Tosoani was not as responsive as promised.

My wife and I really appreciated Zadún's collaboration with local artisans to showcase the best of Mexican culture. Zadún's exceptional service, prime location, amenities, and its unique blend of local culture and ambiance, makes it a highly recommended destination for couples seeking relaxation in Los Cabos.

To set the stage, this is my first actual review after being an Expedia member for many years. I felt compelled to say what an top of the line experience this was. Its not often that a property goes beyond expectations but Zadun did that and so much more. If you're travelling to San Jose del Cabo, just trust me, look no further if you want a great experience.

This is a pristine property with high end finishes and service from start to finish. It is very expensive.

Zadun is an experience! We had the best Tosani in Carlos. He made sure each day was perfect. Manuel before we got there emailed and communicated with me for a personalized experience. It was a wonderful way to relax by a beautiful pool. Gym is gorgeous and the food and drinks all around were top notch!

Zadun is an excellent property, right up there with One & Only, Las Ventanas and other five star properties. What makes Zadun stand out is the wonderful staff at all levels.

Appreciated the warm welcome as it sets the tone. Personnel was respectful, attentive and exuded genuine kindness; always having an unwavering smile. Architectural design and landscape is exceptional. Interior design and amenities have the attention to detail Privacy was perfect. My only constructive criticism is the room service that was seamless with committed delivery, faltered with retrieval. Ritz-Carlton never disappoints. Thank you to your staff.

A wonderful experience overall

Overall, we had a wonderful stay at Zadun, and would likely return. The property is beautiful and well-situated, taking advantage of the hillside to afford excellent views. The staff and service are excellent, as one would expect at this price point. The hotel also does little things like host complimentary stargazing sessions and such to entertain guests, which was very nice. A few notes for people as you make plans: The food throughout the resort is solid Cocktails are nothing special and priced upwards of $25. This adds up quickly. The signature restaurant, Humo, did not impress. For two people to eat here (with two cocktails total and no other alcohol) cost $450. The food was good, but not as good as other places we ate at in the town of San Jose Del Cabo itself for half the price. In other words, get off the reservation. The restaurant, Equis, was our favorite on property, though El Barrio is also great as the everyday eatery. I felt somewhat misled by pictures of the beautiful beach, given that the water is unswimmable due to rocks on the shoreline. I’m sure this is written somewhere on the website, but I didn’t see it. Granted, this is the case for most of Cabo, so if you want to swim in the ocean, you probably need to stay at the Montage, which was a very similar experience to Zadun. Ubers are easy to obtain, so take advantage to go into San Jose.

Just Fabulous

The staff and property just amazing. They really go out of their way to make sure every detail is taken care of. Also, the food was authentic. Truly a 5 star resort.

The property is top of the top. Service , food, decor , quality are absolutely incredible. We were served around the clock by our butlers michelle and carlos, our cleaning maid celina was absolutely incredible. We experienced various services within the hotel, transportation, restaurants, spa and they were absolutely perfect. It is an example of elegant architecture offering a unique experience of the mexican culture in an elegant manner.

Service was impeccable. Property was beautiful. The tsoanis and the people at the pool were amazing, spa services were the best I have ever had
