This is a terrible property for any family to stay. DON"T STAY!!! First of all, they do not regard all the bookings if you booked through the third party. Secondly, when my family arrived at this property they really threatened to cancel the booking by disputing the number of allowed guests in the hotel. My extended family stayed there for a night with the right count of guests, but they totally disagreed and overcharged us. There is no way these people need to be in business not honoring the legitimate bookings. The worst of all they will trip the BREAKER IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT. Then claim that there is a power cut when other rooms still have power. These thieves shouldn't be getting away like these. I did speak to the manager or the owner but he failed to resolve the case satisfactorily.
The day after I checked in, I gave Reception a list of shortcomings which were taken care of by the time we returned to our room ( 30th Dec ). Minor things like no hand towels, only one tea cup for the two of us,only one coffee sachet, TV malfunction etc. The most irritating problem was the faucet for cold water in the bathroom would not budge, so I had to manage on 30th Dec with only hot water which meant no possibility of shower and we had to fill up the bucket with cold water initially before turning on the geyser so that water is available at the right temperature. The leaking toilet spray was set right quickly. The cupboard floor had some sticky substance, though the housekeeping guy did try, it was not clean enough. My wife was unwell on 31st Dec night and next morning, at my request, Reception arranged to send a bowl of Upma and coffee to our room which was very much appreciated. Our relatives brought us lunch the next day and we asked for spoons which were quickly sent by Reception. The lighting could be brighter. There is only one tubelight in the centre of the room and a night lamp. Near the cupboard area ( Room 001 ), we could do with some more illumination at night. I have given you feedback to the extent I can recall three days after our return to Mumbai. Cheers Niranjan Bhat 4th Jan 2018
Not a treebo experience
On first day room provided was very small , had smelly bathroom , mattress was squeecky/ hard and hot water tap wasn't working. Staff made some stop gap arrangements to make 1st day bearable. Staff changed the room for 2nd day. It was better. Appreciate courteous staff who listened complaints made stop gap arrangements since other all the other rooms were booked .
Good option for a touristic one night stay
Pro: Polite reception Great location Good wifi Kind of modern style (even if is not brand new) Cons: Breakfast buffet is 90% indian food (but you can have omelette and bread) Price is a bit high for indian standards
Mangalore
small town hotel standard
It is a decent hotel for a short stay. Has all the convenience that are found in a small hotel in a small town.
Fantastic stay at Treebo.
The room was excellent, staff very friendly, Location ideal (could do better with more signboards) Should recommend Restaurant within the premises! Worth the price. Must improve on the Breakfast segment.I would recommend guests to try it out.Wishing Treebo the very best for the future.
Great
It was my first time staying at Treebo Papillon Palace and it was a great experience for the price. The rooms are clean and spacious. There was AC, Wifi, Geyser, elevator etc. The reception desk was helpful in booking cabs to the airport. The breakfast was alright. But the location of the hotel being in the centre of town helped greatly. I would definitely recommend it.
Excellent price & rooms are just perfect..
My stay was very good. I was on a business trip and the hotel was just a 2 min walk from my meet place. It's in the heart of the town. Good options of restaurants nearby to have food which was a plus. Free breakfast and it was really good. the condition of the hotel was very good as compared to the price. I would suggest it to all the travelers as it's the best place in this price. I would rate it 5 star.
Nice and clean no-frills hotel conveniently locate
Nice and clean no-frills hotel. Rooms are good sized. The AC worked fine and wifi was good. Couple of times I measured 10 Mbps download speed. Clean sheets and towels. Breakfast was simple - toast with butter, jam, omelette and coffee. The Indian entrees change daily with typical simple combination: poori-sabji/upma-sambar etc. The location was great for my needs. There is a wonderful local seafood restaurant called "Machali" that I enjoyed a lot. Not really set up for the international guest. A toilet paper roll was provided on request. The toilet supplies were spartan - a bar of soap, a tube of shampoo and moisturizer. Need to turn on a switch to get hot water. No automatic room service if the room was occupied. Every day of my stay, I had to request room service in the evening.
Good Value
The Hotel is very centrally located and easy access to all the Shopping Malls .The very best Mall is the City Centre which is 5min walk or 25 bucks in a Rick. The Staff at the hotel are very nice and the rooms although a little tired are large and adequate. The wifi is excelland we enjoyed our stay. The complimentary breakfast was not that brilliant but the overall experience was positive and we loved Managalore as Indian cities go it is very clean and not too crowded with cars.
Value for money
Great stay, most comfortable and amazing location
Friendly staff and comfortable rooms.
I had a nice stay. The staff was helpful. I only wished the hotel had some non-smoker rooms!
It was a very bad stay and as per hotels.com booking confirmation, we were eligible for breakfast and the reception denied this facility saying that their confirmation does not include breakfast. The front off manager was so rude and there was no use in arguing.
Close to the centre of town with ample parking
The hotel is actually behind an huge building hence its very quite even though it's very close to the centre. The only issue is that the hotel does not have an restaurant so coffee and tea is either thru the in room service or the machine made. Breakfast is not up to the make.
Convenient and value for money Hotel
Excellent. Value for money.
An average no frills hotel.
Rooms are of huge size but there is no need to expect luxury service. Its an average no frills hotel. Room size -- Huge plus., bathroom quite average. Breakfast - I would say average. Not much variety to choose from Locality - Location is great as it is near to main malls and sightseeing areas.
