Confusing check-in process
I found the check-in process stressful. This is a regular apartment building. The guards had never heard of the hotel/room when I arrived. On the day of travel, I received two emails saying I should pay a $126 cleaning fee by credit card and give my credit card information for a $500 hold before they would send me the location to pick up the keys. I was already at the property and hadn’t realized the key location was elsewhere. The request for credit card information made me uncomfortable as I couldn't verify the existence of the room. These two charges were mentioned in the fine print after booking with Expedia, so I strongly suggest reading ALL the fine print so you don't have a similar experience. Due to the late hour (9 pm) no one answered at the property's phone and Expedia's employees noted they could not assist as their computers were undergoing maintenance for an hour and a half. It was eventually resolved by e-mail/ messenger after about 1 hour 20 minutes, but was stressful given the late hour and cold weather.
Make sure you read the fine print
A lot of confusion for checking in. Make sure you read the fine print from Expedia. On the day of check-in you will receive two messages, one for cleaning fee and the other for a $500 safety deposit. The messages will say you have to give credit card info online in order to find out where to pick up the keys (which are not at the address listed). The security guards at the building had never heard of the room and urged me not to give credit card info as it looked like a scam. I called Expedia and the property, but as my plane landed late at night, I couldn't get a hold of the property and Expedia told me they couldn't do anything as their computers were down for the next 1.5 hours. I spent over 1.5 hours (e-mailing, messaging, on hold) trying to figure this out, worrying that I wouldn't have a room that night. It eventually worked out, but was quite stressful. Unfortunately, despite the $117 cleaning fee, the cleaner had not vacuumed large dust bunnies from the corner of the bedroom as well as behind the TV console and beside the fridge. There were some stains on the couch as well. I think they should at minimum provide hand soap in the bathroom. (I bought one and left it there). That said, the location was convenient and the price reasonable.
