Great location in Regensburg. Good breakfast. Clean and new rooms. Perfect for business or single travel

Very good hotel ! Everything was very much worth it ! 10/10 would recommend

If the very few parking spaces are full then you have to pay €18 to park in their car park, as there is nowhere else. The check-in took 30 minutes due to inadequate staffing and not even an apology. The room contained a marked carpet. Stained curtains and the roof terrace had weeds a cigarette butts. There is a buffet breakfast at €17 but i went elsewhere. My experience was the very antithesis of German hospitality and standards. On the plus side, the shower and room temperature were very good.

Minor issues but recommended

Beginners at the reception suggested I haven't paid for the room when booked. I had to show the receipt. Although I booked for 4 ppl the room was clearly prepared for 3. The beds, towels for 3 not 4. Other then these minor issues it was alright and I still recommend this hotel.

Parking is a little pricey

There was no chair or desk in the room. I’m not sure the available bean bag chair is the way to go.

Our room had animal hair everywhere making it a nightmare for us with allergies!!

When I arrived at the hotel my reservation was not there and the person at the reception did not speak English or Spanish and did not understand anything I told him unfortunately I lost my money and it was a super bad experience

The hotel had all the amenities for my trip which was only a one night stay to continue my journey

I had trouble getting an Uber so called the front desk as I was stranded too far of a walk away at night and during a thunderstorm to see if they had a suggestion for cab or transit. They were rude and hung up on me. Had to beg someone I knew to let me sleep in their room.

The beds were very comfortable . The buffet breakfasts were good. Not having a small table and two small chairs and an armchair in the room detracted from our enjoyment and comfort hugely. We both experienced sore backs from having to sit on the bed for 7 days. A fair hike to the town Centre and railway station . Loud music in the breakfast room was annoying. We would not come back nor recommend it to others for more than a one night stay.

When we checked in the male staff member was quite rude, didn't provide any info beyond the room number. Other staff members were friendly and helpful. Room cleanliness was so so, it was obvious some surfaces had not been cleaned properly. First morning the firealarm went off quite early morning. Parking price listed on expedia is 12 per night but upon arrival it was 17 per night. There is free street parking in the neighbourhood available within the next block. We could not find the breakfast price listed anywhere and did not want to interact with the same rude staff member so we went to a local bakery instead.

Quaint hotel close to the city center

Stay was great. Included breakfast was awesome, staff were very kind and helpful, would absolutely stay here again. Only thing to keep in mind is that parking is €17 a night. There’s free street parking across from the hotel if you can find it, but just be prepared to pay if you can’t. That being said we were able to find a spot easily.

The descriptions on Expedia are not accurate. There is no connection to a train station and the buffet breakfast is not free. The rooms are clean but could use a table (there is room for it).

Lovely staff, nice rooms, Good variety offering drinks, snacks and relaxed, modern style.

Liked the room and particularly the bathroom as a lot of German showers are terrible but this was very nice.

A pearl close to the center

Modern and practical hotel 15-20 min walk from the old town. We had 1railway tracks outside our window - absolutely no problem. With the windows clised you hear nothing. And yes, there is an efficient a/c. Practical bathroom with spacious shower, safe, comfortable beds, but unfortunately 50% synthetic bed linen which make you sweat. (The only minus,). Good breakfast. Cheap parking. Very nice staff throughout.

Check in was quick and the staff very friendly. The room was clean and comfy. Great quality for the cost! No complaints here!

Overall a good property, was convenient for us to stay there.

Air conditioning system in the room is a bit noisy, but can be shutoff completely unlike some other hotels. The windows are quite good in terms of isolating noises from the street .

The Niu Sparrow delivers a great value in a clean modern building. There is a convenient bus for reaching the old town, university, and larger city. The breakfast buffet is reasonably priced and runs until late morning on weekends. The rooms I have stayed in were spacious and comfortable.

The hotel is nice and clean, breakfast superb. The staff was very friendly.

Walkable to Christmas markets. Had issues in room (sink stopped up - tried to get fixed - someone came but did not fix problem). Had to find creative ways not to use sink. Front desk fvery crowded most of the time, and most of the staff speak extremely limited English. Very hard to communicate.

No parking left, completely full. Had to use street parking. No do not disturb sign at this hotel. No tissue box. Negative Covid test was required, other hotels didn't need it

Modern property but it has some quirks

Located a bit off-centre (some 15min walk from the train station and 15-20min into the Old town - though reachable by bus with a stop almost right in front). Modern, clean and fairly stylish property. But the modern design has its quirks - there's pretty much zero storage space (just a few hangers, no wardrobes), no table or chair (just a sitting sack). If you only need a bed and bathroom, this is a good option. If you want some other comforts of a room, it can be complicated. The reception seems woefully understaffed - there's a single person also doubling as a cafe server, making coffees inbetween of (slowly) checking in guests. Whenever I passed by the reception, there were people queueing and my check in wait was only about 15mins because there were just 3 people ahead of me.

Except the unfriendly receptionist everything was good. Nice design and breakfast was sufficient. 20 mins walking away from the city center

After a long check in, this modern hotel with fine beds was great. A bag seat was unexpected but I sat well

Brand new hotel, very clean and comfortable. Staff were fine, but not exceptionally friendly. When we arrived at 1pm we were told check-in was at 3pm, but although the room was available we were told it would be €15 to access it early. They did allow us to leave our luggage and come back later. During the pandemic (Sept 2020) breakfast was a boxed meal that included for each person: a store bought sandwich, yoghurt pot, apple, boiled egg, muffin, juice box, and a cereal bar. There was a self-service coffee machine to make lattes and macchiatos.

Leider verfügt das Hotel nur über eine sehr begrenzte Anzahl von Parkplätzen. Das kann für Geschäftsreisende schwierig werden.

駅からも市の中心部から遠い。 駅の反対側のショッピングセンター側から地上に降りるが　10時のオープン時間前でエレベーターが使えず荷物を抱えて苦労した。

Also das positive ist, dass das Hotel Recht gut liegt, direkt am Bahnhof und etwa 15 Gehminuten von der Altstadt entfernt. Allerdings sind die Nebenkosten für Frühstück 17,- Euro und Parken 18,- Euro und Hund, 25,- fast schon exorbitant teuer. Weiter negativ war, dass an ersten Tag der TV-Empfang nicht ging und das der Zimmerservice vergessen hatte das Duschgel in der Dusche aufzufüllen. Positiv ist, dass trotz wirklich lautem Straßen- und Zugverkehr in den Zimmern so gut wie nichts zu hören ist. Ich würde das Hotel trotzdem nicht nur zu 50% empfehlen, eine Notlösung wenn alles andere ausgebucht ist, sonst nicht.

Ich habe King Bett gebucht und habe Doppelt Bett bekommen. Das Zimmer hatte weder Tisch noch Stühle oder Sofa, auf Jeden Fall ich konnte mich nicht hinsetzen und mich zu entspannen, das ist ein no Go😡

Hôtel à quelques minutes du centre. La chambre 607 avec terrasse est petite. Il n'y a pas de chaise ni table. Il y a un pouf qui prend de la place et qui est très inconfortable. Pas de sèche serviette dans la salle d'eau. Douche agréable mais avec l'eau chaude qui n'est pas constante, des variations de normal à très chaud. Le lit double demandé est en fait deux petits lits avec une petite couette chacun. Apparemment les allemands n'aiment pas les câlins. La télé n'a pas la possibilité d'utiliser notre Netflix ou autres. La terrasse est comme certains l'on spécifié pas entretenue, il y a de l'herbe entre les dalles et malheureusement toujours des mégots un peu partout. Avec un cendrier ce serait plus judicieux. La terrasse est louée avec la chambre et devrait être nettoyée également. Nous avions qu'un transat et une petite table. Pourquoi pas deux sièges ? Pas de restauration à part pour les petits-déjeuner. Accueil sympa des personnes à l'accueil. Si les hôtels sont impactés par les locations saisonnières on s'aperçoit qu'ils ne font rien pour rester en vie.

Der Frühstücksraum ist definitiv zu klein für die Anzahl der Gäste. Freie Plätze sind nicht verfügbar, es muss zum Teil in den Empfangsbereich ausgewichen werden.

An sich ein schönes Hotel, alles sehr sauber. Das Personal ist sehr bemüht und auch freundlich, aber die Besetzung ist zu gering, wenn Stoßzeiten sind und dann wird man auch von einem zum anderen geschickt, weil zu wenig (sprachliche) Kompetenz. Das ist kein Drama, wenn man kein Deutsch spricht, aber Englisch sollte schon passen… Die Parkmöglichkeiten sind gerade ausreichend und dafür ziemlich teuer…!

Good value for money, nice location

Schönes modernes Hotel. Die Zimmer sind funktional und sehr sauber. Die Dachterrasse mit Blick auf die Bahn unbedingt das schönste. Das Zentrum nicht in nächster Nähe. Der Wasserdruck der Dusche war auch nicht atemberaubend. Ausserhalb der Hotelgarage gibt es wenig Parkplätze, deshalb sollte man einen Parkplatz mitbuchen. 18 Euro/Nacht sind aber nicht günstig.

Sehr günstiges Hotel in Innenstadtlage.

Leider war die Terrasse, welche wir extra dazugebucht hatten, nicht zu gebrauchen. Es gab keine Sitzgelegenheiten auf unserer Terrasse, da die alle defekt seien. Unsere Nachbarn hatten Glück, da sie noch welche hatten.

Ein zauberhaftes Hotel, das leider durch ein fürchterliches Chaos, Unordnung und Berge von schmutzigem Geschirr im Frühstücksbereich total verliert. Eine Zumutung. Ich habe meinen Tisch selber sauber gemacht und das Geschirr meines Vorgängers weggeräumt. Sehr, sehr schade bei den schönen Zimmern.

Zimmer ok, Frühstück hektisch wenn aber reichhaltig

Ich war beruflich für eine Nacht in Regensburg, das Hotel liegt nahe zum Hauptbahnhof, was sehr praktisch ist. Obwohl die Bahnschienen direkt neben dem Hotel verlaufen, war es angenehm ruhig im Zimmer, nur selten hat man mal eine Hupe gehört. Dem Zimmer fehlt meiner Meinung nach ein kleiner Arbeitsbereich, es gibt keinen Tisch mit Stuhl. Alles in allem war das Zimmer ausreichend für mich für eine Nacht, es war sehr sauber und modern eingerichtet. Preisleistung ist gut.

Tolle Unterkunft in der Nähe des Hbf. Sehr sauber und mit dem ÖPNV gut zu erreichen.

Tolles Terrassezimmer mit Ausblick zum Sonnenuntergang, sehr ruhig trotz Bahngleis, Früchstücksmöglichkeit bis um 11:30 Uhr, gut Lage zur Innenstadt, Parkgebühren im Hotel zu hoch, gerne wieser

Direkt an den Bahngleisen. Daher kann man die Fenster nicht öffnen. Aber auch bei geschlossenen Fenstern kann man den Güterzugverkehr hören.

Günstige Übernachtungsmöglichkeit, gleich in der Nähe des Zentrums von Regensburg.

Betten gut, Badezimmer gut, Design (bis auf hässlichen Vogel-Teppich) gut wie üblich im the niu, allerdings überall Staub im Zimmer, am TV, Kommode, Flecken von Gläsern oder Flaschen, Boden wurde offensichtlich nicht gesaugt, Lebensmittel-Reste o. ä. neben Mülleimer, leere Duschgel-Tube in Duschkabine, Deutschkenntnisse bei verschiedenen Mitarbeiterinnen der Rezeption schwach

Wir haben ein Zimmer aus einer höheren Kategorie gebucht, welches in keinster Weise den dazu angezeigten Fotos entsprach. Ein weiteres Upgrade war nicht möglich, da ein Zimmer mit einem Tisch und einem Stuhl nur 3 mal im Hotel vorhanden ist. Man hätte im Aufenthaltsraum des Hotels am Laptop arbeiten können oder im Bett. Unmögliches Zustand. Unverschämte Preisgestaltung und absolute verarsche von Kunden. Ihr solltet mal eure Fotos der Zimmerkategorien anpassen. Dringend. Laut Rezeption waren wir auch nicht die einzigen, die auf die falschen Fotos reingefallen sind..

Issue with staff

Lack of staff is an issue. Only one person at the reception on my check-in date despite a high number of people arriving around 6;30pm. It took over 30 minutes to get the key. When asked, a staff spoke about many employees on holiday. Obviously, the management is unable to plan accordingly staff in regard to work. Generally, staff at reception was not very responsive and friendly. Lack of interest in their job?

Gut gelegen, nicht weit in die Innenstadt und zum Schloss Thurn & Taxis. Frühtücksauswahl war gut, aber zumindest am Wochenende zu wenig Tische und hektisch. Rezeption war beim CheckIn auf Grund von mehreren wartenden Personen etwas überfordert. Für 1-2 Nächte und Regensburg erkunden ist das Hotel dennoch gut geeignet.

It was close to famous tourist attractions, but public transportation was inconvenient.

Die Zimmer sind funktional ausgestattet und sauber. Die Betten sind super bequem. Das Frühstück ist ausreichend und ok. Das Hotel ist sehr zentral und für Ausflüge optimal. Was aber leider ein absoluter Minuspunkt ist, ist der Parkplatz!!!! Wir haben pro Nacht 18€ Gebühr bezahlt

Check-In verlief schnell und problemlos. Die Mitarbeiter waren insgesamt sehr nett, jedoch wirkten manche auch etwas hilflos in bestimmten Situationen - Hier darf gerne noch etwas mehr geschult werden, was Aufmerksamkeit und Technisches betrifft. Die Lage des Hotels war ideal, gut angebunden und praktisch, um die Stadt zu erkunden. Auch mehrere Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (Edeka, Aldi, Pasing Arcaden) sind hier in Fußweite vorhanden. Das Zimmer selbst hat mir gefallen, modern und komfortabel eingerichtet. Die Aussicht war okay und der Blick auf die Bahngelände irgendwie auch spannend, ein interessantes Highlight, besonders wenn man Bahn-Verkehr und Technik mag. Ich würde daher ein Zimmer mit Blick "nach hinten raus" empfehlen. Die Zimmer/Fenster scheinen gut isoliert zu sein, was bis zum Morgen Ruhe versprach... nur das morgendliche Türenknallen hat die ansonsten ruhige Atmosphäre gestört. Der hohe Preis für das Parken (18€/Nacht) war ein klarer Nachteil, da es den Gesamteindruck von Preis-Leistung gemindert hat und das Problem mit den oft defekten Fahrstühlen ist sicherlich bekannt (Für uns nicht so schlimm, da wir im 2. Stock waren). Das Frühstück haben wir nicht genutzt - sah aber gut aus und war immer ausreichend vorhanden, sofern wir das beurteilen können beim "vorbeigehen". Uns hat der Aufenthalt gut gefallen und wenn es mal wieder nach Regensburg gehen sollte, werden wir eine Buchung sicherlich in Betracht ziehen.

Für den Preis absolut hervorragend!

Das Hotel hat auf einer Seite eine große Straße und auf der anderen Seite die Eisenbahn. Bei geschlossenem Fenster ist das absolut in Ordnung. Das Haus ist noch relativ neu, trotzdem schimmeln schon Fugen im Bad und die Badtüre knarzt sehr laut. Eine zweite Person würde davon in der Nacht sicher wach.

Good for a day in Regensburg

The Hotel itself is modern and with a concept design. The people working in the reception and in the breakfast hall are okay. The cost of breakfast is pricey for what is offered. It would be nice if they vary the hot food served. The downside is the house keeping. They come late and so they just hand you with fresh towels,which is good anyway .But would be good that they do their part to clean. That is why people come to Hotels. Aside from staying they liked that their bed is done after a long day sightseeing outside.

The staff at the reception (during the night and breakfast) couldn’t speak English, so it was very difficult to speak and understand each other.

Classico business hotel con Colazione varia e abbondante. Doccia molto spaziosa. Per arrivare in centro occorrono 15 minuti a piedi. Possibilità di parcheggio gratuito nelle vicinanze

Lage ist nur semi (direkt an den Schienen), ansonsten aber gut fußläufig zur Stadt.. Preis Leistung ist gut... Frühstück ist ok (= Standard)

Fräscht

Bra och fräscht hotell. Vi kom sent på kvällen och åkte tidigt nästa morgon så vi åt inte någon frukost. Rummet var jättefint och fräscht. Jag hade råkat boka bara en vuxen men det gick enkelt att lägga till en vuxen till utan extra kostnad.

Innenstadt gut zu Fuß erreichbar, kostenlose Parkmöglichkeiten in der Nähe, günstiges Frühstück.

Hotel ist eine Empfehlung

Modernes neues Hotel nahe der Innenstadt. Frühstücksraum etwas unruhig und ungemütlich. Parkplatz mit 17 Euro ziemlich teuer.

Fint hotell med bra läge nära gamla delen av staden. Receptionisten kändes vid ankomsten ganska stressad och var inte särskilt serviceminded. Behärskade inte heller engelska.

The soap in the shower was empty when we arrived. The shower was very slippery, the light was flickering and the next morning our passes didn’t work anymore so we couldn’t get into the room (this was before the checkout time). It was a disappointing experience
