The hotel is far from all the happening area, so it’s very inconvenient

Overall very good value for money

Lovely property but so far from everything. No shuttle service we had to walk 23000 steps to get to the first shopping centre. You can use bolt no grab . If you don't have a car it's not worth it .

Very nice place but is a big place lot of walking

Wonderful stay. Upgrade to pool suit. To die for breakfast buffet. Would definitely stay again.

Slow life

If you like big, all inclusive resorts, this is for you. There is no easy way to leave the premise and visit the local shops. Make reservations for dinner , and then go see if anyone actually showed u for their reservations. It has a huge pool and a lot of elaborate Hindi weddings which are a lot of fun.....

Property is safe and secure with pleasant environment for kids.

Property was huge and rooms were clean and comfortable. Love the pool that goes from the rooms all the way to near the beach. The massage at the spa was also pretty good. The property is a little old though and could do with an upgrade, food could also be better. The balcony area that leads to the pool can be better cleaned as there is always bird poop on the lounge chairs, though its understandable that is a little hard to control.

Noisy weddings if you like them your fit right in if you don’t then stay somewhere else

Facility is quite old, bed is not comfortable. All staffs are friendly. Food is moderate.

Great hotel, best service!

Great family trip

This was a great family holiday. The hotel is nice and well maintained. Very good value for the price. I was just surprised to see that teh kids play areas was not well cleaned (Outdoor playground and Video games area were dusty despite cleaning twice a day). Teh service was excellent and I really appreciate the staff at the breakfast buffet even though they were under pressure due to the high number of guests.

It's a little far from the downtown area. Not all stores are within walking distance.

Great place for family and friendly for children!

Kids friendly

We stayed with 3 of us, 1 8-month-old baby. Staffs are nice and provide a fast check-in with complementary beverage. The hotel was renovated in the end of 2020 so the room is quite clean and comfort. Good bedding, the baby slept very well. They provide the kids' equipments such as baby cot (but we didn't request), the bottle cleaner, baby bathtub, and also a high-chair with tray at the restaurant which is convenient for BLW baby. I'd suggest to visit during the workdays to avoid crowed.

great pool, service and breakfast. Kids club was great too. Beach is clean and right next to the rooms.

If you reopen the hotel, hire staff to clean up

the hotel was clearly understaffed and that has a major impact on cleanliness. dust and dirt in room & bathroom, under bed, on furniture. Hair in food, bugs in room. Room service and dirty laundry staying in corridors all day and night until the next day.

Amazing service by the ever smiling staff and we requested for early check in and late check out and they accepted our request very willingly -

Everything was so good, service, food , room .... If the hotel can provide free shuttle bus go to night market will be perfect.

Not up to standard and will not go again

Hotel clearly shows its age. Service attitude of some minority staff was horrible and not acceptable for a hotel of this price / standard. Electricity of our room got cut off even before the check-out time.

Check if they have party before book

Bit disappointed this time, there were two wedding party held during our stay, they had pool party during day time and so noisy, our room was facing the venue, no privacy at all, we couldn’t stay at the hotel for relaxing but went out 2 days with no choice. Huge variety buffet breakfast.

This property far exceeded my expectations. My fiancé and I stayed the weekend at the Sheraton and had an amazing time. The room was large and had everything we needed. The pool was amazing, the food wonderful and the service was on point. We would highly recommend staying at this resort and plan on staying there again someday.

A pitfall in booking with hotels.com

We have stayed at this hotel before and our extremely good experience on the previous trip made us happy to return. However upon arrival we found that a a 500 strong wedding party had taken over nearly all of the hotel, with the wedding lasting three days (and we arrived on day one!). We had not be warned when we booked by hotels.com or the hotel that this wedding would disrupt our planned holiday, and the hotel duty manager failed to advise us of the likely disruption caused by the wedding. We complained about the noise (full volume thumping dance music by the pool in the middle of the day), and the lack of notice we were given. The Duty Manager apologized and said that they had be unable to notify us of the wedding because we booked with a third party agent (ie. Hotels.com), and Zi would have had to look st the Hotels own website to see a notice about the wedding. Seems like we fell down a gap in between the responsibilities of the hotel and the agent - not very satisfactory to say the least!

This is my 2nd time staying at the resort and the experience never disappoints.

Nice if u have a car to get around

The lagoon pool is the best in hua hin, if u dont have a car ur stuck at the property. But its a nice place 4/5 star.

Nice hotel but a lot of noise from events

Very Nice hotel with really friendly and helpfull staff. Great huge pool area and beautiful surroundings. However there were three multi day weddings during our 11 day stay. Resulting in a lot of noise and limited access to the Resort facilities. Not a lot of local restaurants and life as the resort is 15 km from Hua Hin.

Family-friendly resort with 24 hour access to Pool

We had an amazing stay here and especially loved the lagoon pool which has direct access from any of the ground floor rooms overlooking the lagoon. Otherwise, the lagoon can still be easily accessed through a passageway from any of the block of rooms. Best of all, the lagoon/pool can be accessed 24 hours a day (at your own risk, as the lifeguard is off duty at 7pm). Very good selection for breakfast with local fresh produce and provided a variety of food to cater to any taste. Restaurants also had a wide variety of food so we could just eat at the resort. Staff were very accommodating to our needs, especially when we had an 18 month old travelling with us. They also provided a trolley cart to drive us from to/from the lobby/main road. There is also had an indoor and outdoor playground for entertaining the kids. The only downside (if we were being particularly picky), was that there's no lift between the ground and first floor in the room blocks.

Beautiful hotel, should stay again if I visit Hua Hin.

Relaxing weekend away from Bangkok

Clean room. Friendly staff. Had a problem with the toilet hose but the staff was very responsive and came to fix it right away. Loved that our room opened straight out to the amazing pool which was very big but felt private at the same time.

Amazing Stay - Highly recommended

Enjoyed our stay at Sheraton Hua Hin - it was truly a resort - the pool was endless, which allowed guests to scatter all over. About 20 min cab ride to downtown - was close enough to enjoy the downtown during the night / night market. Room was clean and well taken care off. We initially thought the room was far from the main lobby, but soon realized that was an advantage - so thumbs up all around

Nice relaxing hotel

Hotel has access to beach and the swimming pool is fantastic as it is a lagoon style and one could swim all over the resort. There is a shuttle to Hua Hin town centre but there is a charge. Normally, one expects shuttle to be free.

Paid over $200 a night to Sleep & could "NOT"

I had great experiences at this Hotel several times before, but this time there was an Wedding Event that interfered with my stay plus did not impress my companion friend's from the USA at all. There was loud and noisily people both nights that I paid over $200 a night for (2) rooms to sleep, was woke up though the night at 2am, 3am, 3:30am, 4am. Did not get any sleep either night from the celebrations of loud guess of the wedding event, therefore could not enjoy the day time activity we had planned to do ourselves. Then all I get after complaining is a reply of apologies, I kept getting woke by the staff to also apologies again. I was not offered any restitution for my expenses and not being able to enjoy my stay. Only offered to pack up my bags at 4am and move to another room, ridiculous, why don't they move the rowdy group not me. WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN OR TELL MY FRIEND TOO, ANYMORE !!!!!!!!!!!

Lovely hotel

Only stayed for 3 nights as R and R. Enjoyed the quiet and lounging around the fabulous lagoon pool. Liked the beach bar Luna Lanai and had great Italian at Sala. There were alot of mosquitoes and when we sat outside the bar at night they provided mosquito repellant. A bit far from town but there is a shuttle in the evening to go to Hua Hin for the market or just for food and drinks if required. Highly recommend the hotel as long as you're not looking for a beach holiday as there isn't much of one.

Amazing!

We stayed in quite a few hotels in the Hua Hin area and the Shheraton is by far the best. The best food, the best pool, the best service...the best!

Excellent all around resort

We rented a lagoon side room and found that it was well worth the additional cost. Food, facilities and quality of service were excellent...we would definitely go again. The only downside was the beach front...it's not a particularly beautiful or clean beach, but that's simply Hua Hin for you!

Stay 7th - 9th July

Very Nice hotel-with good rooms-very big swimming pool. Good Restaurants and bar. Top staff ( except ) the lady I charge for taxi transport, at Thursday evening 7th July. All other staff was great and nice.

Fantastic Hotel, Great Service and Location

We stayed 3 nights 4 days at this resort and the facilities, staff and overall location were absolutely perfect. I had never been to this area of Thailand and was just looking for a great beach location and clean rooms. This hotel offered so much more. Next year, we're looking forward to bringing our entire family. Its perfect for a couple or a family with kids.

In conclusion, overall of the hotel was great! But depending on timing, you may face the wedding event and many people at the hotel, consequently, less private

Great Stay

My family and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in early June 2016. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return. Pros: -Excellent pool that wraps around the inner hotel grounds -Excellent breakfast buffet with wide variety of western and Asian options -Extremely helpful and friendly staff -Good access to the beach directly in front of the hotel Things to be Aware of: -If you have a stroller or wheelchair I would highly recommend staying on the ground floor as the individual buildings do not have elevators or ramps to get to the second floor. The hotel was very accommodating and moved my family to the first floor with our newborn. -As everywhere in Southeast Asia there were a few bugs in our room. The bugs were small and did not bite so they were a very minor nuisance but something to be aware of. -Not much to do within walking distance of the hotel. This was not a problem for us since we spent our time relaxing at the resort.

Remote and busy

All in all very good. It's remote so it's a hassle to go into town but you can on their shuttle which is 50baht one way. We paid to upgrade for the last two nights to pool access, it's double the cost of a basic room and the room is the same pretty much so only worth it if you love being by the pool. The beach isn't great and as usual there's rubbish everywhere outside the resort but that's Thailand for you. Food in resort is great if a little expensive for Thailand imho esp on the seafront at lana lunai. The Italian in the middle of the lagoon is good too as is in Azia. Quote your spg number for a discount, they most likely won't ask you. The pool is really awesome. Avoid high season and Thai holidays, it can be extremely busy and locals like to cram whole families into one room which makes the public areas and the pool extremely busy.

Nice hotel

We stayed in the 2nd floor of the 8th building, pool view. It is very close to the kid pool and easy to access to the large pool. Staffs are very nice and friendly. It took about 25 minutes to check in due to the long vacation. The outdoor parking lot is a bit far but it is very convenient because the buggy car reached us in a minutes. Highly recommend for family. If you come with small children, I recommend to choose the 2nd floor for safety.

Feels Private

I'm fairly picky about when it comes to resorts, I've even been known to be snobby. The Sheraton Hua Hin Resort and Spa actually lived up to my expectations. First, the location feels very private. A long entrance from the main road helps the privacy factor. There is construction next door, but I barely noticed or heard much. The staff was outstanding. Didn't matter where in the resort you where, I felt welcomed. Grounds were kept quite clean. The beach isn't pristine white sands like some parts of the world, but I found it ok. If you want to lay in the sun on the beach, you'll have to take a towel because all umbrella lounges are on a grass area approximately 10 feet above beach level. There is a breakwall separating beach/resort because the tide comes all the way in at evening time. The bad part is it leaves behind a bit of trash. An overall great experience, especially for the money value I paid, I was quite pleased (to me it was very cheap).

Hotel for Family Trip

Very good hotel for family with big swimming pool and nice breakfast, we enjoy staying there and will be back again.

Service wasn't perfect but mostly are great. Area of improvement could be shuttle to parking which staff seems overloaded. We waited for a while for the bell guy to come pickup our luggage when check out. Pool was the best, my kids loved it. Property is nice but the sign can be updated a little as it seems quite old and outdated.

Great hotel

Great hotel with an enormous pool area. The beach was fine but rarely used by us as there were no sunbeds there but the pool more than makes up for it. Clean and comfortable rooms that however felt a bit dated. A bit off the beaten track which was good since Hua Hin isn't a particularily nice place to hang out in. The only thing that could be improved is the quality of food in the restaurants. Would recommend to stay in a garden view room as the rooms overlooking the pool are not very private.

Very pleasant stat despite a late check-in.

Security and golf

Security overall at a high level, however surprised to see how local girls were allowed into the hotel during the evening - without any security clearance at all - especially when arriving with the shuttle. Main reason to stay at Hua Hin was for golfing. The concierce desk delivered a fantastic service - thank you.

Excellent Beach Resort Hotel

Excellent services, helpful staff and good facilities. It has a big lagoon pool, beautiful landscaping, reasonable kids club with variety of activities. It is beside the beach, has spacious room, overall, it is excellent for family with children. Note: The hotel has connecting rooms, the twin room has 2 double beds, this allows for family with children to stay together, and space to move in the room. However, do take note the hotel does not have a lift, for elderly or those with difficulty climbing staircase, do book the room on the ground floor.

Awesome oasis, tougher to engage locally

The resort design and fantastic service made this a wonderful spot to escape life's imperfections and simply relax and enjoy friends and family. Children, especially, benefitted from the enormous pool complex and inviting kids club. The hotel provided such great service that people were not frustrated at all staying on the resort grounds, which was wise. While the larger surrounding area has much to offer, one does not walk down the street to enjoy local culture. A plan and a vehicle would be needed for that.

Great hotel great food and very helpful and friendly staff. Only problem is relying on transport to get to main part of the town.

Home away from home

We were here for the high school reunion. Facility and amenities are top classed, and so the staffs. Only 2 drawbacks for us were mattress was too soft for our back and there was no elevator for hotel guests to get from rooms to main lobby.

Excellent stay

Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone. Make sure you spring for the extra money to get the poolside room. Doesn't have the best beachfront, but the pool and the grounds more than make up for it. I only went to the beach once and spent the rest of the time in the pool. One drawback is the on-site restaurants were a bit pricey. The food was good though and the breakfast buffet carries through most of the day.

Loved our stay at the Sheraton Hua Hin

What a wonderful luxury resort. When checking in at 1 a.m. the front desk staff was very welcoming and quick to show us to our room. We stayed in a deluxe garden room, which was very comfortable and larger than we expected. The cleaning staff was professional and did a great job. Enjoyed the free full channel television and free wi-fi. The breakfast buffet was wonderful and we did not tire of it during our 6 day stay. The beach was close and offered a relaxing beautiful view. The grounds were also well maintained and we enjoyed evening strolls after dinner. We also enjoyed the hotel shuttle to town several times during our stay. Will definitely stay again.

Extremely beautiful and very family friendly

We had a lovely time at the Sheraton, and the view from the rooms are absolutely stunning. At a very affordable price too - i can warmly recommend this hotel if you are looking to get some pampering and delicious food. Even the room service food was great - and the staff was very helpful.

Relaxing Stay Wonderful Experience

It was truly a haven the place is on it's own. We were happy with the room we stayed in and would come back again for another visit. Like in a world of our own and it would be nice if more shuttle can be provided to visit other areas besides the Hua Hin town. This would encourage guests to look at Sheraton Hua Hin Resort and SPA as one stop shop hotel to be in. If possible to offer more cuisines like Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Indonesian it will be most excellent.

Loved it!

Favorite hotel in the world to date. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. There were, however, two small downsides. One was the location, the hotel is actually in Cha-am, not Hua Hin. So, you need to take the hotel shuttle van (50 baht each way) into town. Two, the hotel is immense, and there's not a lot around it so forget about just walking off the grounds to look at things, do a little shopping, run errands, or grab a bite to eat.

The hotel is about 20 minutes from Hua Hin town. Although they have a regular shuttle till town and back, it is advisable to self drive as moving around is easier. Surprisingly the room service was affordable, quantity served was good and service was fast, unlike some other hotels in similar class. C'mon its a Sheraton and it is one of the best. Would stay again definitely.

Perfect Holiday

Arrived home today from a wonderful 16 days in Thailand. After a hectic week traveling around we were ready for the last week relaxing at the Sheraton. We traveled from Bangkok to the hotel in their shuttle bus which made life easy.The staff were fantastic, we were made very welcome and quickly shown to our room which was spotless with plenty of roon, the lagoon access lived up our expectations. For the whole week the staff were always helpful and went out of their way to make our stay relaxing, although there was a large Indian wedding taking place we felt this enhanced our stay.

Pool Access a must and BF buffet was terrific!!!

Too much Mosquitos every where. We decided to pay a little extra for the pool access and it was well worth it. Highly recommend this if you can get the room. Also the breakfast is a gastronomical feast. We have BF and then can eat again around dinner because we pigged out on all the excellent supplies. Try the bacon. They are done just the way it should be, nice and crispy. The floors still require you to wear slippers because of the tilings. It would get a five from me if the flooring was wooden.

80% of the hotel rooms was taken by relatives to a large Indian Wedding occuring during our stay. This meant that there was restrictions on which resturant or pool area we could use during our stay. It would have been better if they had blocked the rest of the hotel during our stay so we could choose another hotel.
