Quiet retreat.
Lovely property and gracious hosts. Breakfast was a highlight. We’d return.
Great base for exploring Warwickshire.
Beautifully appointed place to stay with a friendly host and excellent breakfast. Easy to find, good parking and fantastic views.
Family wedding stay
We have just finished a really enjoyable 3 night stay. Lovely comfortable room. Clean, fresh bedding and a great nights sleep. Breakfast was great and the small fridge in the room was really handy. Elide the host was friendly and welcoming, and the Snitterfield arms pub was great for evening meals. Will definitely be returning. Thanks Elide.
This is a beautiful property within easy reach of Stratford upon Avon. Our room had a stunning view, was beautifully furnished with a super comfy bed and included a fridge with water and milk, and tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom was spotlessly clean with a huge modern shower and large fluffy towels. There were plenty of choices for breakfast and it was all cooked perfectly. Elide is a warm and friendly host who has created a more than comfortable home away from home. We can’t recommend this property highly enough. Thank you for a great stay!
Shakespeare's View
Very friendly welcome. Very helpful host. Excellent breakfast. Beautiful location.
What an absolute excellent spot, we cannot fault it one bit, comfortable, impeccably clean, spacious and perfectly situated. Would highly recommend.
Excellent stay.
A clean, comfortable room with everything we needed. Friendly and helpful host, delicious and plentiful breakfast with home made bread and jam, in a dining area with a fantastic view across the orchards to open countryside.
In my view, perfection!
Gorgeous setting, away from town, but still convenient. Fantastic beds, high-quality linens, and delicious breakfasts. An absolutely lovely place!
Definitely be back, 1st class
I can honestly say this was one of the best stays I have had the host was amazing and the breakfast was superb. Nothing was too much trouble and the location, accomodation and price was excellent on all fronts.
My husband and I had a delightful stay at the Shakespeare View. The B&B was exceptionally clean, the hostess was gracious, and the property was close to Stratford Upon Avon!
A wonderful stay
An absolutely wonderful overnight stay. Everything was excellent: warm, comfortable, clean and we were made to feel so welcome. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful and lots of choice. Overall we would love to stay again at some time in the future
Great breakfast. Super comfortable bed.
Amazing!!
What an amazing stay me and my Mother had at this B&B. We couldn’t fault anything, the host was lovely, and so were her dogs. The local village has a pub that does amazing food at a good price. It’s local to Stratford. It was just what we needed. Service and cleanliness was just outstanding.
A gem just outside Stratford-upon-Avon
From a warm welcome upon our arrival, to the perfectly spotless room, and the amazing breakfast (homemade bread and jams every day!), our stay was 5*. Yes it's a 10 minutes or so outside of Stratford-upon-Avon but it's well worth it for the value this place offers.
Lovely hosts
Excellent stay, superb host, lovely breakfast, especially the overnight oats
This was the perfect spot for us, Midway between Warwick & Stratford-upon-Avon
It was extremely comfortable, quiet, with outstanding views of the countryside Morning breakfast we’re excellent As was the host
The perfect stay whilst on business
Fantastic stay overnight in this lovely homely cottage. The proprietor was amazing and relaxed. The views were fantastic and the food was delectable. A perfect stay as it should be!
Christmas Shopping Trip
Lovely stay as always, in beautiful surroundings a short car journey from Stratford. Felt very welcome.
Exceptional stay
Our stay was a fantastic experience cleanliness was second to none excellent facilities in the room and a large comfy bed. Breakfast was lovely with quality food and home made jams etc. The dining room was light and airy with a view across the valley. We were made to feel very welcome and again the service was excellent. We have stayed in many a top class hotel and have been thoroughly disappointed but our stay here has been such a pleasure. It might be a good idea if some of these managers stay for a night and the land lady gives them a few lessons in hospitality. We both want to say many thanks.
Beautiful location with gorgeous views. Convenient for local towns. Friendly helpful hostess.
Wonderful B&B. Superb host
Lovely stay,would definitely recommend 👍
Everything was super even had deer and bunnies to look at from our view
Fantastic romantic retreat
This is our second time staying at Shakespeare's View - both times we have stayed in the Orchard Suite which is separate from the main house. The room has a superking size bed, sitting area with sofa and coffee table, tea, coffee and hot chocolate making facilities (including a Tassimo machine), mini fridge, en-suite shower room, and a balcony overlooking the plum orchard and surrounding countryside (you can sample the homemade jam made from the orchard fruit during breakfast). Breakfast is freshly made for you and served in the dining room in the main house and is always delicious. Elide is a fantastic hostess as no request seems too much, even so far as allowing us to store our bikes undercover while we went into the town when we were not using them (many car parks in Stratford-upon-Avon have height restrictions). All in all it is a perfect romantic retreat for my wife and me. The only possible negative is that the mini-fridge in the room can be a bit loud, and the led display on it is quite bright - Elide did warn us of this and told us there was no problem if we wanted to turn it off. The noise was not a problem for us and we just rested a towel over the light at night. We will definitely be returning and I highly recommend that you give it a try too!
We had a wonderful stay, thanks to Elide’s hospitality; the stunning views and strong swing. We can’t wait to come back
I would fully recommend the Shakespeare View B&B, from meeting our host on arrival, Ellie could have not been more helpful, the room was immaculate, and offered everything you would want form a B&B and more, the views stunning, breakfast was perfect, my wife is a vegetarian and Ellie could not have been more helpful in providing a vegetarian version. all in all a lovely and peaceful stay, would certainly go back again !
UPMARKET, RURAL, B+B
We personally selected this property because we felt it would afford us some privacy and solitude in a quiet, rural location..The choice was correct with an unobtrusive, but personable, host, and a well appointed room with very tasty breakfast, snacks, and a mini fridge!!
Fantastic
Absolutely wonderful. Lovely accommodation and food, and a great host. Very friendly and accommodating. Worth every penny, will definitely be staying again.
Good breakfast, friendly staff , good place to stay
A gorgeous place with a lovely view!
Beautiful accommodation in a stunning setting! This place is truly a 5 star BnB - friendly and caring service from the hosts that made us feel right at home. Lovely, sparkling clean room with very spacious bathroom ensuite. The property has a gorgeous view over their garden and the countryside. And we enjoyed a delicious breakfast made with homemade ingredients. We wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you!
Very good service , very clean , rooms are lovely and owner is very friendly and helpful .would recommend to anyone that wishes to stay over while visiting Stratford-upon-Avon for a few days , we walked to local pub which was also very friendly
Fantastic stay
What a fantastic place and such a wonderful welcome, the whole stay made to feel very special, To wake up to a wonderful peaceful view , and then have a fantastic breakfast . The room was very clean and comfortable., would recommend anybody to stay
it was warm and inviting. there was privacy. breakfast was stellar
Fantastic B&B. As good as it gets in every way
Great welcome in the pouring rain from as friendly an owner as anyone could wish for. Clean, warm, welcoming, engaging, interesting and meticulous are words that spring to mind when describing this beautiful Bed and Breakfast and its gentle and fastidious host. Tasty, varied, fresh, alternative, punctual, homemade and plentiful jump to the forefront when it comes to breakfast time. Fantastic place. Very secluded and quiet little nook. Thankyou so much for the thoughtful greeting for our short stay en route to meeting our beautiful Granddaughter for the first time. A truly memorable weekend.
Lovely stay
Great weekend, warm reception. A couple of miles outside Stratford but worth it.
It was a lovely B&B. comfortable, clean, welcoming, great breakfast. Highly recommend staying there.
Jon & Jo’s night out
Our only negative comment would be about the softness of the bed. We are used to a firm mattress; ours was cosy soft but we felt engulfed in a huge marshmallow. Every other aspect exceptional
Bed and breakfast was lovely. My only fault would be the pillows supplied.
A plum visit
Ideally located for Ragley Hall (our destination) or Stratford upon Avon, Warm welcome, very nice room overlooking the plum tree orchard (to the rear), very peaceful. Come and go as you please, large comfy lounge and breakfast room overlooking the same view as the room. Cheerful service from "Ellie", breakfast tasty with the usual offerings, including home made plum jam. Parking is adequate (just) as there are only a limited amount of rooms. Top tip take the room with the view, the bathroom (private) may be across the landing but the view is worth it. Most certainly on our list of B&Bs "would use again".
The host is excellent
Shakespeares View
Given a very warm greeting. Lovely large comfy bed. Food excellent and a good choice if want to have something different to an English Breakfast. Close to many activities. View wonderful. Sitting out at night really enjoyable. As a bed and breakfast place should be.
fabulous views
Shakespeare's View is a fabulous place to stay if you are considering visiting Stratford on Avon. The landlady, Elide, made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble throughout our stay. Our room overlooked the Warwickshire countryside and we even had deer in the orchard.
A gem!
This was an amazing place to stay, and showed off the English countryside at its best. The name "Shakespeare's view" lives up to expectations. Only a few minutes from Stratford, it was quiet, comfortable, and welcoming. We were made to feel very welcome, and the breakfasts were great. I hope we will be able to return in the future. For now, it has our highest recommendation.
Perfection, highly recommended
Elide is a wonderful host. Our room was delightfully fresh and clean. Breakfast each morning was wholesome and delicious. The B&B is only few minutes outside of Stratford making the regular trip in straightforward, whilst enjoying the countryside setting. Highly recommended.
Great place
Lovely and very clean room. Excellent breakfast and amazing view from the room and a terrace. Plus after breakfast fun with owner's dogs
Great place to stay
Our hostess was wonderful, greeted us with afternoon tea. The room was great. Shower was phenomenal, with great water pressure! We highly recommend! Area had a lot going on. We were able to go to the yearly Shakespeare Festival nearby.
Just Perfect!
We chose to stay for a weekend at this beautiful country home to celebrate my husband birthday in Stratford-upon-Avon and we weren't disappointed. Our room was very clean, bright, quiet, comfy and warmth, overlooking the orchard with a modern private shower-room. Tea & coffee making facility plus selection of coffee & tea & hot chocolate and bottles of water provided. Even a mini-fridge and dressing gown were available in the room. Shakespeare's View is in a very convenient location, only 3 miles away from town and easily access to all main attractions. We got our own key to the house so were able to come and go as we pleased while staying here. Breakfast were plentiful and tastefully presented with choices of English or Continental breakfast plus daily homemade bread and jam. Our host was attentive and welcoming. We asked if we could check-in early on arrival and leave our cases behind after checked out then pick them up later at the end of the day and that was no problem. Thanks for having us!
Very comfortable stay
I will mention that this B&Q would not be suitable for anyone disabled
