Older crowd, great food, excellent service
Really enjoyed the food and the service was great. Resort itself is very picturesque and great views out to sea watching the cruise ships arrive and depart. But, the sea is very rough with a red flag every day so if you are coming for the watersports, the Grande is a much better option. And because the beach isn't used as much as the Grande, there is a battle every morning to get the best located sunbeds. One of you will need to be up by 6:30am to secure a spot. But there is a lot to be said for having a coffee at that time in the morning and just watching the sun ruse cruise ships arrive. If you want to avoid this, either pay for the butler service (technically they shouldn't reserve beds at the main pool, but they do) or select a room category with its own patio / sun loungers.
Fabulous Caribbean experience and hotel
This was the best vacation I've been on in years and the staff (we had a butler), accommodations, food, views of the ocean were all fabulous. We had an up to date room over the bluff looking at the ocean and it was amazing, clean, great service and fabulous views.
The service is outstanding and there are plenty of dining options and activities,
WILL BE BACK! THE CHAIRS OVERLOOKING THE OCEAN BESIDE THE POOL ARE FABULOUS!
Property is nice, beach ok. Food average, like any other all-inclusive resort, nothing special. Golf course is a mess. The island doesn't have much to offer. Overall, it was ok, but WAYYYY too much money for what it was. First and last time at a Sandals I am afraid. After 5 days we were ready to go.
Staff was great, we were given a free upgrade to a villa! Our maid decorated our room for our anniversary which was a very sweet surprise!
Our experience at Sandals was great with regard to service, views, and activities. However, one major drawback was the food, which was very disappointing. If you look forward to tasty meals on vacation, you will not find that here. With that being said, we had a great time and it’s a nice getaway.
Food was good and staff was friendly.
The resort was beautiful but the beginning was rough, they had my name wrong on our booking even though all of my reservation papers had it correct, and this ended up wasting a ton of our time our first day there and they ended up not doing our honey moon package which was such a bummer. Eventually they fixed it but I was never able to use the app because my name was not right on it again, so that made things difficult. When I tried to get help the workers just kept sending me to someone else. It ended up affecting our whole trip with literally everything we booked having the wrong name and having to constantly tell everyone the same story over and over. This was my honeymoon and It could've gone so much smoother.
Paradise
Property needs some updates
Gorgeous resort! Lots of places to eat and friendliest staff. We are vegetarian and enjoyed the available food options.
Staff were lovely and helpful our whole stay! Clean and beautiful. Special shoutout to Charles and Travis for always checking in 😀
The restaurants on the property offer an array of delicious meals.
Small and a bit dated, overall, a good resort
Amazing hotel, staff, spa, beaches, service, clean, highly recommended
I had a very nice time. The people were amazing. The food was ok but Sandals should expand their menu to include local foods and not watered down food
Sandals was simply amazing 👏 friendly staff and generous food and drinks. The bartenders keep the drinks coming and always smile. The views on the restaurants are breathtaking.
The staff was amazing but upgrade in the rooms can be done also mosquitos inside the room was awful, need to have each room sprayed as well as outside with certified exterminator. The buffet area needs to cover up breads/desserts because flys all over… Thanks MYGaither
We got treated less than. We didn’t have consistent water in our bathroom for most of the 7 day stay. Staff did not seem to cater to us. They were more focused on others. I do not recommend this property for people of color, staff will not treat you equally.
The food here is amazing and everyine is so nice. This was the first Sandals my wife and I have ever stayed at and we would definitely go back in a heartbeat!!
What made the stay enjoyable and comfortable was the Staff. Very attentive. Specifically; Travis. He was always available to us and assisted us immediately. Very courteous young man and his people skills are second to none. The beach area and amenities were fantastic and the nightly entertainment was very good. The resort has something for everyone. The negatives were minor. When I arrived, could only make reservations at 1 of the restaurant and The main pool tiles could use some renovations or at a minimum some deep cleaning of the grout. Although the room was very clean, areas around the shower could use some attention. Nevertheless the less, I look forward to my return next year.
Distance getting there and from other resorts
Incredible service and absolutely gorgeous property! Amazing beach. By far the best of the 3 Sandals in St. Lucia. Very romantic.
The property was great overall
I will be returning to la toc. The staff treated us like we were royalty.
The property is old, needs updating. Some staff is rude to non white people specially the male greeter and waiter at the Pub. He was rude and made unwanted looks and gestures while we were at the restaurant. We called front desk to pick up our bags 3x to go to the airport. They never came so 15 minutes before our departure, we brought it down ourselves.
This was our first Sandals vacation and it did not disappoint! The resort was so beautiful and the staff went above and beyond to help. The food was delicious and there was a great variety to choose from.
Beautiful property, great service. Fedores did a great job with our room and even decorated it for my wife's birthday. Jeremie kept us well stocked with refreshments too.
Everyone was very friendly and made our stay feel special. The only slight downside was at the La Toc restaurant the night we ate. Not sure if they were short staffed or had some issues. It took an hour and a half to get an app and entree. Every other restaurant was very speedy service. Staff was great and friendly and seemed to want to go out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.
Property needs updating, looks dirty, food offerings very poor
This property is located one hour from main airport on a winding road with treacherous curves.Once you are there, the staff makes you feel in heaven but the property is a little dated and definitely not handicap friendly. The bufette is adequate but not remarkable. There are several good restaurants. La Toc, their flagship one is excellent as a good French restaurant should be.The others are so so.Be wary of the tuors. They are expensive and not that great. You can do better off on your own. All in all, they are better values for your money. Such as the Sandal Grand
St. Lucia is a beautiful place! The people at sandals were very accommodating. The resort itself is very old and needs updating. The food at the Piton restaurant, which is reservations only was good but they made it difficult to get reservations as I believe the Butler rooms get first choice. For the money I was expecting a much nicer room and better food.
Beautiful property and amazing staff!! Such kind and caring people! Food was upscale cafeteria food and lacked flavor. Grounds were beautiful and well cared for. We enjoyed walking the property and taking in all the views of the ocean every day!
Beach / grounds awesome - overcharged us for a bottle of wine at dinner and difficult to get reservations at better restaurants on site and French restaurants was overrated for food
I liked the quietness of the resort. I also enjoyed the nightly entertainment. It was a bit difficult to get to some of the restaurants depending on where you were staying, for example we were in the main building, ocean view, so getting up to Armondo's and Kimonos restaurants was not simple...had to take a shuttle. Also the pool was freezing cold, we didn't even get in due to that.
Spacious rooms and comfortable beds. The staff were very helpful and always keen to go the extra mile. All the facilities were good - in particular the gym. Breakfast and dinner buffets were really good. The dinner service was annoying - there were technically 8 restaurants in the evening, but usually one was closed each night, three required a booking (usually three days advance notice) and for the remainder, on popular nights, you could wait up to 40 minutes for a table - the quality of the food was very good. No buffet in the evening I think is a mistake.
Having 3 pools to choose from was nice because we preferred the quieter pool. The beach was nice but people are constantly harassing you to book excursions. The food was good but not memorable.
The staff was amazing and very friendly. Many food options within walkable distance. Also, they have great photographers ready and willing to make your trip memorable. Just don't be confused about their claim to have snack anytime though. There are not snacks available to grab on the go at all times of the day. The only food available is at the restaurants which all have their own set hours.
La Toc is a lovely small resort with excellent food and strong drinks! A great escape from it all...
Nice resort overall. To get the full experience here and avoid annoyances such as reserving a pool chair at 6am, a butler will be necessary. Also, despite being an expensive resort for every room option offered, only certain rooms receive room service. So, to have the best experience at Sandals La Toc I would recommend their top rooms with a butler, otherwise look elsewhere for a more budget friendly trip.
LaToc is absolutely gorgeous! We had an amazing time. The food was wonderful…many restaurants to chose from! The property is clean and the staff was very friendly and accommodating!
Fantastic views and all smiles from the staff
Sandals was everything I hoped for in a vacation spot. The beaches were relatively quiet, open, and the water was great (aside from the few red flag days but that was out of their control). The staff were amazing. Shoutout to Barkus, Shanna, and Don for being super attentive and helpful during our stay. The food was also great! The sushi place was especially delicious--and getting to eat there whilst overlooking the ocean was quite the experience.
The property at Sandals St Lucia La Toc was spectacular. Views were amazing and the staff and service was "Top Shelf". The waves at the time of our stay was high, but that was ok there is plenty to do. All of my beach trips from now on will be thru Sandals.
Everything at the resort was pretty much great except that the premium liquors seemed to all ways be out. We are jack Daniel drinkers and at night they were always out. Also the trip to and from the airport is horrible. Be better have a strong stomach. Long bumpy and very curvy
Sandals La Toc was beautiful! Worth every penny we spent! However DONT BOOK WITH EXPEDIA THE COMPANY IS TRASH.
Affordable in comparison to the Grande St. Lucian. We actually like the setting and size of the La Toc most. The convenience of the free shuttle to visit the other Sandals resorts is nice. All the food was/is delicious.
This was a nice resort with very friendly and helpful staff.
Very nice property. This was my wife and I second Sandals location (first was in Jamaica) and we enjoyed ourselves just like the first time. Lots of restaurants to choose from, lots of entertainment, and water activities (at the beach and at the pools). Only thing is, there are lots of HILLS on this property. However, this is how this country is built-up all over the island. Other than that, very nice property/country to visit.
First, the breakfast was ok but the lady that did the smoothie was vulgar on both days I went to get a smoothie so I didn't even go the next day to get any also I asked for the ac to be checked and no one came .. But I'm hoping my next stay at Sandals will be better it was my birthday went to celebrate but other than that was great.. ALSO must say the Japanese chef Myers was totally amazing and the gift shop personal was soo friendly SUNITA
Overall great holiday resort and would recommend
Overall a very positive experience after reading a lot of mixed reviews. This was our first Sandals stay and I certainly wouldn’t put anyone off, I think people giving bad reviews are either extremely picky or had one off bad experiences. Headline is great food, fantastic service and lovely setting. We stayed at Regency La Toc and found the service to be great from arrival. Food was a very high standard and was a worry before we got there based on reviews. All of the restaurants are very good, only 2/7 require pre-booking and that’s often not difficult for the next night. Setting is lovely at La Toc with the grounds immaculate and plenty to do on-site including water sports/tennis/gym/shuffleboard/spa. Only negative would be the difficulty in securing a bed with an umbrella. To get one round the pool you need to get towels on the bed relatively early which in itself I don’t agree with. Entertainment can also be a little bit ‘tacky’ but i understand it’s quite a hard thing to get right although it seemed at the Grande it was slightly better. You also have access to other Sandals resorts facilities on the island with the Grande around 35 mins away via shuttle. This runs every 2 hours from 11am to 7pm with the last shuttle back at 10pm from the Grande. I’d recommend using this as the Grande is extremely nice and you can see why this is the most expensive of the three.
Property was beautiful! All the staff were friendly and very helpful. Can’t wait to go back !
We had an enjoyable week. The rooms are quite dated and worn but still comfortable. Our door had a huge gap around it meaning that all noise outside could be clearly heard. The beach was clean and the pool and gardens were immaculate. Lots of sun beds were available. If you wanted to escape the noise and entertainment at the main pool there were plenty of options. Food was good and plentiful. Staff at the medical centre were extremely helpful. Overall, good - we would book Sandals again. 😀
The best vacation I have ever had.
Service was excellent, felt very safe. Staff was extremely friendly.
Our stay was exceptional. The food, beach and staff were just lovely.
I have never written a review before. But today I am taking the time to do so. My Vacation to St Lucia was amazing. This will be one to remember. Never been at a Sandals before this was my first time..i will definitely be returning.
Amazing beach, mediocre food, super friendly and attentive staff. Will be back.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was consistently good. We stayed in ocean view room and was shocked we didn’t have robes for the week. I didn’t bring one because we have always had them provided. I did ask for them and was told “not included in that room.” ☹️ I suggest all rooms get robes! I do think it’s time for updating the facility. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. 😊
The Resort was amazing, the staff could not have been any more friendly and accommodating then they were. One of the best vacations my wife and I have ha in a long time. We already booked our stay for next Christmas/New Years. Thank you Sandals
My husband and I came here for our honeymoon in the cold month of December. Well, it wasn’t cold in St. Lucia. From the moment we arrived the sandals team, treated us with the upmost respect and made us feel like royalty. We are so thankful at the recommendations to stay at this resort, and will definitely be staying at other sandals resorts in the future.
The staff is fantastic. They are pleasant and welcoming, especially the duty manager, Tricia. She went above and beyond to make reservations at some of the fully booked places. In addition, she makes sure everything is being appropriately handled to our satisfaction.
Every day we were asked to buy illegal drugs while we were trying to relax. I had to tell them to leave me and my wife alone at least 8 times in 4 days. We paid a lot of money and there was way more than that. Plenty of issues and we did not enjoy the stay. Food was horrible as well
Great service and professional customer service
The property is extremely well kept and the staff are very attentive, they pays attention to every little details
The property has beautiful gardens, rooms are clean.
Service was great!
Our first stay at La Toc Sandals resort and we had a nice time. Staff were all very friendly and pleasant.
Great property, restaurant options and friendly helpful staff!
Property was beautiful and the staff was phenomenal.
Disappointed
For the money it is not worth it, Sandals has a completely different idea of what Luxury is, 4,500 dollar and not even a chair in our room and no room service, also 72 steps from the pool to our room, would not stay at Sandals again.
The staff is very very nice. The hotel is nice
Outstanding resort, extremely friendly staff, delicious food, etc! They make sure you and your needs are a priority! Definitely a place worth the visit! Looking forward to booking with Sandals in the near future!
We loved how all staff and guests were super friendly. We were greeted by everyone every time we passed by. We were even always complimented. Smiles all over always. Tricia was incredible! She was so professional, positive and fun. She was always reachable at any given moment and always checked back with us with anything we needed. She became our friend and we will never forget her. Kim was very helpful and pleasant as well. We also especially LOVED the energy and positivity that all the crew members gave 24/7 around the pool and resort. Each day was something new, fun, and never boring. We will never forget our 9 days in St. Lucia, La Toc! :)
Food was good. Staff was friendly. Room shower had no water pressure. Floor by pool was dangerously slippery. Need more activities
Disappointing
Stayed here for a week, I would recommend not going to La Toc but book The Grande instead - we ended up spending more of our time there using the free shuttle because of the nicer beach and better service - they were much more helpful. La toc is big, but it is understaffed and unable to cope with the volume of people. There isn’t enough sun loungers unlike the Grande. Firstly, the place is huge and despite having a butler service we were not given a proper tour or explained anything e.g. that you need to reserve sun loungers. The service is poor, with the exception of a few staff. We booked an excursion on their front desk and was due to leave at 9am. At 9:30 we were told the trip had been cancelled. Later that evening we met other guests who had been on the tour - the staff lied to us and clearly overbooked. We were offered a measly 10% discount off our next trip. Another day we were due to go on an excursion and booked breakfast through our butler for 7am. Breakfast didn’t turn up, we had to chase and ended up having A rushed breakfast in the hotel lobby whilst waiting for the bus. Either they forgot our order or the kitchen is understaffed. The beach itself isn’t great, the sea is rough and had a red flag out everyday we were there, whereas The Grande has a much better beach. It’s marketed as a premium resort, but the quality is poor - definitely not worth the money. Stay at The Grande instead!
Enjoyed every minute of my stay! The only part that needs improvement would be the covid testing procedure before leaving. Suggestion set up appointments by designating times. For instance in 10 minute intervals.
Amazing
A lovely hotel with warm and welcoming staff made our first trip abroad through the pandemic a very relaxed experience.
Loved it! Friendly staff, plenty of choice for food and drinks, stunning beach. It was great to have the option to spend the day at the other two Sandals nearby as the all inclusive holiday can get a bit “claustrophobic” if like me you like to move around and explore different beaches.
Service and staff were top-notch ... always trying to make our stay
The resort was nice and rooms were very comfortable, however our stay was impacted by COVID restrictions/employees and we were not able to take advantage of everything they advertise. One of the reasons we booked with Sandals was the ability to stay at one and play at three to have more restaurant options. While we were there a 4pm curfew was in place, at the same time the shuttles to the other resorts didn't start until 12pm (with the last shuttle returning at 3pm). I understand that the resort does not control the curfew, but they could have adjusted shuttle times to allow for guests to go earlier to actually take advantage of the benefit advertised. When we were asked about this we were told to take a private taxi. Additionally, the availability of water sports seemed to be dependent on who was working. One day was pretty windy (whitecaps on the water) and everything was open, we took a lesson but decided to wait until it was calmer to go. The next day was much calmer, some younger employees were working the watersports area and told us everything was closed all day. Lastly the entertainment listed in the app was not always accurate.
Beautiful resort and great staff
We had a great time. Beautiful resort. We booked a emerald ocean view walkout. Could not have been more perfect. Located right at the main pool with a swim up bar. Staff was so nice and warm every single day. Food was great. Just a reminder when arriving make sure to book all your dinner reservation first thing at 9 am. All the restaurants were great, most notable La Toc. Wish we did that one twice. Went every evening for the sunset up on the bluff at Armomdos, wow beautiful. The only downside is we are divers and had to take a shuttle to the marina everyday. Made it a long dive day. Back most days not until 2pm after leaving at 7:45.
My husband and I had a great honeymoon here! We do wish they
The property was ok not the best. Let me start by saying that from the moment we reached the property it appear like a very welcoming environment. We were welcomed with drinks. We were given our room key and were told we have been upgraded. Which was not really an upgrade the room we paid for was better then the upgrade they claim they gave us. We were charged daily government fees which we were never informed of. We were never given a map of the property or information regarding restaurantes or how to make reservations. We were lost the first day with no direction. The pool area is crazy if you are not outside around 5am to secure a chair you will not get one. You see people place water bottles on chairs to hold the spot but never see them come out to enjoy the chair and the workers are not willing to help when you express your concerns. The food in all restaurants were very good. I would say that we enjoyed the food. But if you don’t have a room type that offers room service then you are out of luck. We stayed 7days and at times wanted to stay in and order but were forced to leave the room to get food. The best staff member and place in the resort was the pub and Emanuel A is the best staff member I would come back just to see him again. I would save my money and visit another resort in st Lucia. Let’s just say sandals is over rated and expensive.
Poor Service, Poorly Staffed, Decent Food SanDULLs
The service here is very poor. It is all inclusive, however the bar staff is extremely slow. This a poolside resort, yet they do not have staff coming to you at your beach/pool chairs to ask if you need cocktails, you need to go get them yourselves. The entertainment was average, and the pool bar closes at 5pm everyday. This is an Adults only resort, yet the shows begin very early and if you get a late dinner there is no more entertainment after 10pm. There is no DJ or dancing after that time. I felt the food at the restaurants were good, however when we arrived there were very few time slots available for dinner reservations. We had other couples who stated with us on this trip and they had champagne in their room, although we had an upgraded room, we did not have champagne. We also had to call EVERY day to have our room cleaned and bed sheets changed, as this is not their standard service. The ultimate insanity was when we played golf.... they have a 9 hole course and only 6 golf carts available. My friends had their wives with them and I was going to play with them ..... they teed off and I had to wait 1hr 20 min before I could get a cart and I was only able to play 4 holes. When I asked to have it taken off the bill because it was such poor service I had to wait three separate occasions because each time they called the golf chop to verify my story, the golf manager was no where to be found. I think that issue there says it all, n still charged me $51.
For the price you pay here, there are dosens of all inclusive properties where you get better service. Bar staff and housekeeping were great, restaurant staff not so great. Hotel amenities reservation staff, the worst. There is plenty of room for improvement.
The view was amazing the beach was great. The wait for food and to be seated at restaurants
Honeymoon
My husband and I spent our honeymoon at Sandals La Toc after we got married. Overall, our stay was wonderful! The beds were very comfortable, La Toc (restaurant) was delicious, and we met awesome friends. The only constructive criticism I can provide is the service at the resort was not at the level it should have been. 50% of the employees were very rude and 50% were amazing - it was hit or miss; however, overall, we had an incredible time but there needs to be some customer service training and accountability for the employees.
Love the all inclusive
Sandals resorts are simply the best!
Premium alcohol
Speed up the wait lines and make check in press more efficient
I thought the resort was beautiful but there were so many things that I felt were miss represented on their web site. Our AC was out and they were un willing to move our room and made us sleep in the hot room. They say free snorkeling but its only three days a week and only at 2pm. I would say the resort isn't worth the money unless you are in a butler room. Your are truly treated different if you are not in one of those rooms and given the worst time slots for dinners and good luck getting a chair on the beach butlers get them all. I won't be back to a Sandals resort that is for sure.
Very pretty property and a beautiful beach.
Great resort, service, and location. Felt safe the whole time with their covid safety measurements. Went with my girlfriend and she's a vegetarian. There was an option for each meal, but we would've liked to see an option that wasn't just a plant based protein that imitates meat. We were very glad to have the chef proactively make an off menu vegetarian item for us. This was our first Sandals experience, and we loved how they took care of us. From the moment we got through customs, all the way until dropping us back off at the airport. We would love to visit their other resort locations now.
The food was good and the resort was clean and beautiful. The service was great
Everything is included! There are outstanding ocean views, a clutter-free beach, and so many bars and restaurants that you never have to have dinner at the same place twice. Staff is very kind and accommodating and the island of St. Lucia itself is stunning.

beautiful property, the staff is super friendly. overall everything was great, just wished it did not rain as much
