Had a totally amazing stay.
Staff were not attentive to there paying customers. Bathroom had live wires hanging out the wall. The owners need to make it either there home or a b&b as all there family who live in the basement are sprawled all over sofas and and bar area. When I asked for a service from then they jumped out of there seats and started shouting at me. I locked my self in my room til I cut short my stay and left as I felt threaded. They refuse to refund me. This place is filthy with tatty carpet and beds my bed had a sheet of plywood under mattress as base has collapsed. Inspection of this property needs to be done asap. If you could - this place it would -5
Located very central Blackpool. Good price. Alison was lovely in the morning made nice eggs and coffee. Parking is a bit challenging - outside 8am until 6pm maximum 90 minutes (paid parking), seven days a week. Double room had shared shower and shared toilet. Room had a sink. Given the excellent location, friendly staff and price would recommend
We had a nice comfortable room
Great location near Blackpool North train station and convenient for promenade and attractions. Friendly staff and lovely comfortable room. Have stayed previously and would stay here again.
A brilliant stay very convenient for all things in Blackpool a great breakfast and a lovely room would definitely recommend.

Great Rebellion digs
We had a great stay. Booked in for 6 nights over Rebellion Festival. The hotel is at most a ten minute walk from the Winter Gardens. I'm Incredibly forgetful, so I've already forgotten the landlady's name (sorry!) but she was absolutely lovely and went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. I liked it so much that I booked it again for Rebellion 2025.
It was lovely and the own looks after use and well cleaned coming back
Friendly quiet comfy stay
Very nice staff, near the sea and amenities yet a quiet peaceful place to stay.
Brilliant
It was brilliant hotel stuff made u welcome
Great little find.
A pleasant stay at this b&b ideal for all the attractions in Blackpool would definitely recommend
Good B&B
Of all the B&B’s I’ve stayed at in Blackpool this is one I shall return

Overnight stay so just looking for somewere cheap. Would stay again for 1 night. Comfy bed Needed decorating
great value
had a great stay.... was made very welcome.... hotel was great value for money .... free breakfast was fantastic.. 3 mins walk from blackpool north station.
Very friendly & welcoming staff, great location and clean room. No internet on the second floor, but I did manage with my personal Data. No shampoo or shower gel, but again I did manage with my own stuff.
We had no en suite in room noise from pub opposite kept us awake bed was very small and uncomfortable
Terrible, so bad we didn’t stay
Staff were great.
It was overall a nice stay just can be noisy outside
Little break
Really enjoyed staying at rest and welcome, the owners were a really nice couple who made us feel comfortable from the minute we walked in. We didn't eat breakfast as we don't eat until later in the day. The bar was comfortable and a good friendly atmosphere overall we would definitely return to this establishment as Johnny and Alison made us feel so welcome, and we the next time we go to blackpool we will.stay at there place
Overall good for the price, shame there was no small fridge to keep cold water, ect.The owners wife Alison was ever so nice and welcoming, and u get a good sleep as quiet during the night.
Perfect location
Ideal location close to the centre. Room and ensuite were excellent size. Clean throughout. Breakfast was varied and good quality. Owner was very helpful and was too much trouble for her. No parking available, but plenty of parking options available nearby.
100% recommend
Very clean friendly everything we needed
John and Allison was lovely and John let me know about the light in the shower he was fixing, temp lighting but had another shower upstairs. Over all the stay was warm and humble unfortunately there was alot of shouting outside from passers-by so the area was not great but the guest house it's and it's staff was nice and the price for room was great value
Had room with no en suite, and got locked out of room
Hotel simple but fine.... unfortunately bed bugs appear to have arrived...which can happen..

Bargain break
Last minute bargain break. Room was an OK size. Large bathroom. Very clean but a bit tired round the edges. Comfy bed, good TV and nice kettle. Bathroom felt a bit old-fashioned and could have done with a towel rail or hooks. Not much of a view (room 8). Limited hot breakfast (eggs only hot option) but good cold choice. Very welcoming hosts.
Staff are friendly and the room is nice and clean. Situated in a really handy location for Funny Girls, Winter Gardens etc!
Short stay
We only stayed overnight as a group of friends travelling home the hotel was very suitable for our needs and the owners were very welcoming we would stay again without hesitation
The rest and welcome team couldn’t do enough for me and I thoroughly recommend staying at this B&B. Lovely friendly staff east walk to all shops restaurants and bars nearby and room and bed so comfortable and clean. I will be back staying here very soon thanks . G
Good value for the money.
Very nice b and b enjoyed my stay will return in future.
I had the smallest room in the house with no en-suite plus I miss a full English breakfast… but the owners were friendly
Nice place
The property and room was dated but thats to be expected in Blackpool :p The room had no curtains, just vertical blinds that were quite thin so made sleeping more of a challenge after sunrise. Our stay was quite fleeting, dropped off bags, went to a gig, slept and left as soon as we woke up. The room was clean and tidy and the owners were lovely and polite so cant ask for more than that!
Lovely friendly B&B in a good location. Nice breakfast included in a good value room rate. Deffinitely would visit again if I nerd to be near North Pier / North Station.
Robert the Scotsman room 7

Saturday night solo stay
I stayed at Rest and Welcome on a Saturday night. Location: The location is great for the train station and funny girls to name a few. Room: Room was small but no complaints as I knew exactly what I was booking as the information stated this on the site. It must have been recently decorated as the smell of paint was over whelming at times and I had to have the window open to sleep. Great tea and coffee set. Bed was very comfortable, and a set of coat hangers provided which was a nice touch. Shared bathroom: there was only 1 working as the top one was being refurbished. This was my biggest criticism. There should have been provisions in place as I believe the hotel was full and 1 bathroom between the guests who has not booked a room with a bathroom in it was not such a great experience. Breakfast: This was very tasty and nice. No complaints here. Bar area: clean and a good variety of drinks. Host’s: I only spoke to the lady owner, and she was very friendly as well as willing to help. Would I stay again: Yes, but I would book a room with a bathroom in it next time.
Excellent experience: honest & friendly staff!
Excellent staying: very clean hotel, perfect location, and good value for money. Most important aspect is that I found an extremely professional, friendly & honest staff. Yes, honest, because at my arrival I was immediately informed that one of the lights in my bathroom was not working, and they were trying everything to replace it. The fact that I was told about the "issue" immediately was highly appreciated and it actually did not pose a problem, as the other light was working perfectly, and I did not even need the 2 of them eventually. Not only I would recommend this Hotel to everyone who is reading, but I will be choosing it again on my next staying in Blackpool.
Very friendly and welcoming staff and comfortable room for the price, only issues were it wasn't very clean and my room door didn't lock.
Look elsewhere!
So normally I enjoy staying here because it's cheap and cheerful.. but this year. The owner called me up after the stay saying that I blocked a toilet that I didn't use. We disagreed about the matter, but we agreed that I will not be staying there no more.. I would rather sleep on the street than stay in a cheap, dirty outdated hotel, with the owner having the chuffin cheek to say I blocked a toilet I didn't use. This is clearly a place to avoid, it's not even worth one star
Night away from home
I stopped with a friend for one night as part of a stag do. The host was exceptionally friendly and made sure that we were happy during the stay. The room was clean with fresh towels provided and with a great breakfast included represented real value for money.
Make sure you don’t need to alter your booking
Make sure you don’t need to alter your booking, once you given him your money that’s it, “got your money TOUGH LUCK” Owner is arrogant

Great location, warm and comfortable
Check in was very brief and not the most welcoming, could be more friendly. Breakfast not the best choice.
