Took too long to check-in. I won't pay £16 for breakfast.
Lovely, big room. Huge window so room was very bright. Good bathroom. Hotel 2 minute walk from the hydro. Nice rooftop bar and good breakfast.
Nice hotel. Not sure if we’ll stay again.
Hotel was nice but a couple of issues with our stay. Paid for a junior suite with a view of the hydro. Slightly spoiled by the building in front getting construction work done. Not the radissons fault but maybe a heads up before you pay for a view like that would be nice. Booked for dinner 17:15 but when we went down the reservation wasn’t there. Both the reception and restaraunt didn’t want to take ownership of this mistake. Managed to squeeze us in but were only given an hour window to eat our dinner, ruined the meal to be honest. Overall we did like the hotel but the stay was kind of ruined by the meal booking issue. Was made to feel as though the lost reservation was my fault. A bit of ownership would’ve been nice
8th floor room
Lost hours of sleep given the intrusive noise of the main external units above room 826. Staff in reception were excellent. Friendly, polite and helpful through checkin and checkout.
Always good value and well positioned for the Armadillo & Hydro. Standard room is a generous size and breakfast is very good with lots of choice. Recommended.
Staff were very friendly and professional. Service for food and drinks was great too. The room itself was spacious and clean.
Great hotel for attending an event. Rooms were great and the bed was so comfortable. Also, the parking was very reasonably priced £12) .
Great central hotel in Glasgow! Awesome to be right next to Hydro! Super friendly staff both at the front desk and restaurant! Excellent food, not typical of hotels, with friendly staff with good banter. Great gym, and funky room decor. Spacious rooms with great towels! Would definitely recommend and stay here again!
Nice breakfast. Extremely busy to check in.
Rooms very spacious and hotel staff very welcoming
Right on the doorstep of the Hydro
Very happy with room. Was only for 1 night but happy with all that was supplied with my room. Also was close to where i was going
Perfect.
Hotel was spotless, staff friendly and helpful, excellent location for concerts. Will definitely stay again.
Good stay
For a standard room, it was spacious and clean. Disappointed we couldn’t get into the rooftop bar at 2.45, had to book apparently, could only get in at 9pm which was for residents only, but there was live music which was very good, enjoyed our stay and would book rooftop next time
The property had spectacular views of the Clyde and its iconic crane and the staff were super friendly, helpful and accomodating. I would stay again happily.
JBM IOM
We enjoyed are stay a lovely clean hotel with friendly staff. The one problem we encountered was there were far two few staff to serve breakfast, I felt really sorry for the staff at breakfast trying to perform the impossible, they were all trying to be in 5 places at the one time.
Polite and friendly staff. Fantastic location for OVO Hydro. Room big and spacious. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast very good quality. Would stay again on my next visit to Glasgow
We booked 2 rooms for attending strictly come dancing at the OVO the location couldn’t be any better the only thing I would advise as I didn’t do it was book a time for your meals we went to the Saturday matinee show the hotel was chock a block as there was also the evening show guests staying the sky bar was full and the restaurant was full and the restaurants near the hotel were fully booked too so we ended up taking a taxi along with my 85 yr old parents to Wetherspoons in the city centre so lesson learned for me Book a restaurant for evening meals apart from that great hotel.
So close to being perfect
Booked a room for 2 adults and 1 child. Grest price and great location. Check in was easy and quick. Got to the room to find only 1 bed, despite the booking being for 2 adults and 1 child. Back down to reception to ask if a single bed could be set up to be met by quite possibly the most abrupt and rude person this hotel employs. Was met with "we only do double beds, did you not read your booking!" "Well, we might have a single bed but can you not see how busy we are." Now personally, it is not my concern how busy you are. If you are busy, tell me politely that there may be a little wait but someone will help. That would be fine. But to be met by someone who clearly didn't want to be in work or help was a shock. Very nice chap came and set up a single bed a while later and he could not have been nicer. Bar on the top floor was very busy due to an event at the Ovo. If you want a table, book as early as you can. Room was great as was the shower. Bed comfy and hotel was superb. Would have scored top marks if it wasn't for the grumpy receptionist.
Physically all good, but since the restaurants were all booked up, we ordered room service which we were told would be 15 minutes. From 5pm. At 5:30 we asked where it was and found the order had never been placed. We had to be at the hydro for 6:30 so this was very annoying.
I did enjoy my stay and if you are attending the Hydro it is literally on the doorstep. In the morning of my stay there was a fire alarm and we all had to be evacuated outside. We were out a short while but when I returned I was told they had shut the restaurant and so i didn’t get a breakfast.
Staff very friendly, Sky bar was great.
A real nice place to stay. The room, the sky bar and the general ambiance was really good.
Different decor , quirky hotel
Lovely room, but more socket points would be better , found difficulty with coffee machine and kettle points..also maybe make it known when booking of loud music events happening , as had difficulty sleeping with a dance event music. Restaurant food was lovely though.
Excellent
Great stay lovely hotel lovely staff only issue 12 pounds for parking you would think it would be free little disappointed with that
Good and relaxed
Great stay and recommend
Great easy checkin, arrived early and they were happy to let me check in early (2 hours) which was extremely helpful and appreciated. Room was fantastic, bit of wear that could be easily fixed (blocked sink, loose toilet roll holder) some nuts were on the floor from a previous occupant but nothing major, Great view from the window and all staff were friendly and welcoming. Would be more than happy to return here again. Upstairs bar was great for a variety of drinks and light food. Amazing view of the west of Glasgow.
Not enough Beds
Utter mayhem, booked 2 rooms for 2 adults and 3 Children only to be told that they had run out of beds. Shower was hanging off the wall. Also was not told that there was a function directly above my room that was playing loud music until 10pm at night, this should have been explained prior to arrival.
Radisson Rec
The hotel was very good, I must say, however, that the staff make it. They are all so very friendly and accommodating, nothing is too much trouble.
Great comfortable stay
The room was well laid out. Bed was comfortable. Perfect for a stay for a gig.
,
Disappointing
I was disappointed because my room was extremely noisy, 1st floor just above the bar, I don’t even get how you can have the idea to sell room here, this should be the location of the gym facility instead. I almost had no sleep because of that which I find no correct given the price you ask.
Stained sheets let the whole experience down. Was very obvious staining and must have been seen by housekeeping.
The staff were exceptional. The room was bright and clean. The shower was brilliant. The view from our room was great.
Excelllent place
I always like staying at the Radisson, it's a nice quiet hotel and very convenient if you are going to the OVO Hydro.
I just love this hotel especially at Christmas as the decorations are fab, the restaurant is lovely food is great, the staff are very friendly and helpful,it's so handy for the OVO and a lovely walk to the city centre, my only very small complaint is please put have more coffee and tea sachets available ( you can ask for more but only 2 of each isn't enough) thank you for a wonderful stay
We did not have house cleaning and no refilling of coffees and milk nor was rubbish removed from the room I had to call reception to have this done The restaurant staff is amazing and the food was delicious kudos to the chef
Top trip
Amazing venue - one of the very best in Glasgow
Busy but very helpful reception, all things explained and very friendly…
Great hotel when attending the Hydro
Check in very efficient, room perfect , view over the hydro just what we wanted. Sky bar Great lay out but staff not as focussed as they should be, less chatting more focus and that was at 5 so unsure what they would be like when it got busy- we avoided regather than get irritated after the concert. Would we stay again yes absolutely 100% and hopefully the sky bar will be fine tuned by then . All other aspects of this holiday were simply wonderful.
Disorganised staff
Poor service Long waiting times to be served a drink although very quick to serve the Bill . Many disgruntled people , waiting on their drinks orders . A lot of staff but very disorganised.
Brilliant service our room wasn’t ready and we were given a bigger room
Lovely hotel
Outstanding and helpful service throughout my stay, comfortable clean and breakfast was incredible- will definitely stay again
Great stay
Welcome Red
My wife and I stayed here while attending a gig at the OVO nearby. From the start we received a warm and friendly welcome upon checking in, the rooms were spotless and well presented with lovely artwork/murals over one wall. Bathroom was spotless as well. We had a standard room but it still had a view of the river Clyde. Food/drinks were what you would expect to pay for the location, we opted for a burger before heading out and it was pretty good. Checking out was easy and staff again super helpful, would stay again
view brill had birthday card and 2 drinks
Strong smell of sewage when we walked into the room after being out all day, complained to reception and within 5 minutes there was a cleaner sent to our room to deep clean the drains which sorted it. Keycards were temperamental but quickly sorted by reception. Shower screen leaked as there was a bit of sealant hanging off the bottom very noticeably. The rain fall shower in the roof was full of mould so water wasnt coming out of some of the holes and I managed to unblock a few of them with my thumb so obviously not been cleaned in a long time. Other than that the stay was pleasant, good view of the OVO and Armadillo from our room, friendly and helpful receptionists, very modern. Overall if I was going to stay again I would only stay for 1 night for somewhere close to the hydro. Don't think it was worth the £280 for 2 people for 2 nights. Would rather stay in a Travelodge for cheaper.
Tremendous stay, the hotel is gorgeous, beds are extremely comfortable and the staff are fantastic. Can't wait to come back.
Great mid week break
Enjoyed room upgrade and fabulous view of River Clyde and iconic Finnieston crane.
Very unique stile room ,looks amazing and if you like going to concerts its 2min away from hydro.
Had to continually ask to have twin beds. Expedia has the Junior Suite advertised with twin beds - this was not available. Had to go down to a Superior room which was fine, however on returning to the hotel after a gig, and a visit to the Bar, the beds were still not split and had to go down and ask again.
Was more than we could ask for. Roomy, clean, nice decor, floor to ceiling windows. Would definitely book again!
Fantastic staff. Convenient car park. Excellent room.
Fantastic hotel, stayed many times now and excellent each time.
Good room brilliant view clean tidy Breakfast not great let the hotel down
A great place to stay to see Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds.
Great! Amazing views :)
Lovely spacious room.
Stayed several times . Always excellent
Great view very clean and comfortable room
Everyone was so helpful and nice to deal with
Staff were very friendly and really lovely. The hotel itself is very nice and insanely comfy beds, only negative was that there was still someone elses hair in my shower which made me feel like it hadnt been cleaned as thoroughly as youd like.
We loved our stay here - staff also acknowledged our celebration and upgraded us! Thank you!
Perfect hotel beautiful x
Amazing
My husband and I stayed here for two nights and absolutely loved it. The front desk staff are some of the most friendly and helpful we've ever encountered at a hotel and made all the difference from the moment we checked in. Our room was amazing - very clean and spacious. They provided everything in our rooms from mini sewing kits to a shoe shine kit to a kettle & coffee machine. It was also a close walk to restaurants and shopping areas. Highly recommend staying here if you're in Glasgow!
All staff are so pleasant and helpful and the rooms have everything you need (except tea bags as I discovered this morning sadly). Biggest disappointment was not getting into the Sky Bar - we came back early from our night out thinking we could have a drink up on the top floor. It was fully booked so we couldn't get in - as residents, we didn't think we'd need to book (perhaps that could've been mentioned at check-in?). We headed to the Oui Bar which was empty (& all the tables were dirty), just stayed for a quick drink ..... a poor end to the day. Breakfast was lovely, a great choice of food, and excellent service from the staff - thank you!
Nice hotel, good location but just lacking some attention to detail. Towels and bath mat really worn with holes. No water in the fridge. Bathroom shower had mold in corners. Plus side was that the staff were so helpful and went the extra mile. Just needs a bit of TLC
Nice hotel in a good location
Reconsider breakfast
I have not stayed in this hotel for about 18 months and the biggest change I noticed was at breakfast. Breakfast buffet items were not hot, milk was going sour on one of the mornings and I had to ask for it to be replaced. On another morning there were no bowls to pick up continental items.
If you want your room ti be cleaned you have to let them know, if not they don’t do it. They don’t tell you this at check in
Nice enough
We stayed one night to go to a concert, when we entered the room there was a high pitched wine from the ventilation system and the door was missing its latch. These were quickly repaired once reported. The room was clean and tidy, we had the breakfast included, there is a buffet and or you can choose off the menu. We had the buffet, there was a lot of cooked and cold breakfast stuff but the layout seemed a little unorganised. All the hot food was a bit over cooked and dry.
After my 5th stay it's looking tired and unloved in places. Really great check in staff. Rooms look a lot older than they are. Badly maintained. Lots of little things. No water in the room but you get an empty fridge. Breakfast has been really good from previous stays. But the buffet was luke warm, beige and unloved. 6l of watery yoghurt. No baked beans. Carton scrambled egg. Previously the focus was good continental selection and a hot cooked a la carte. Luke warm sausage, bacon poaching in cold water and fat, mushrooms without any oil/butter or seasoning, tomatoes looked hard and nowhere near long enough under the grill. It's a shame Plenty of staff and investment but lacking leadership or supervision. Upstairs bar had a terrible fruit fly problem. Tables not wiped. All sticky. Tables all wonky. Drinks left uncleared. Pleassnt and helpful staff throughout. Being failed by a lack of supervision or management. A few tweaks and it could easy be 4½ to 5 stars.
Excellent customer service and very friendly staff.
Brill hotel
Great hotel
Relaxing and peaceful
Amazingly spacious and clean rooms with a beautiful view of the city! The best thing about staying here for me was it was so quiet so i could have a restful sleep.
Couldn’t eat in the restaurant as it was full. If we had known we would have booked
Stayed here to go to a concert at the OVO. It was very convenient. Staff were very helpful and friendly. I booked a standard room and that was spacious and lovely. Would recommend to others
Lovely hotel and staff. Great room and view to river and Hydro. Excellent location for the show we were going to. Highly recommended
Great hotel, very spacious rooms, wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. The breakfast team seemed to lack direction and were reactive rather than proactive but that could be easily resolved.
Really lovely hotel and staff were all great. Parking was tight when arriving quite late on, we got lucky and found the last space. I had booked for two adults and one child but there was no sofa or extra bed which was surprising so worth checking prior to your stay. Our little one is 4 so didn’t mind sharing the big bed the three of us, but not ideal for all situations with children so worth double checking this. I would stay here again, the room was beautiful and very clean and I could see the hydro from our huge panoramic window! Really handy for the hydro, and transport options (bus/taxi) very close.
Lovely hotel. Only thing was breakfast was cold. All other food really nice. Hotel lovely and staff
Stayed for one night when seeing a concert. Beds very comfortable, staff friendly
Fantastic hotel. We have stayed a few times and will do again
Staff were helpful and welcoming good atmosphere, all amenities in hotel excellent. Bit surprised at £12 charge for hotel car park, that's a first! Usually incuded in hotel fee so points off for value.
Travelled with my dog and the hotel could not have been more welcoming and accommodating! Will definitely stay again.
Great!
It was a super stay at a good price
Lovely hotel. Room amazing.. But whole experience overshadowed by breakfast. Staff disinterested. Coffee machine awful. Staff not filling it with beans despite multiple asks. Coffee then tasted awful. I asked very nicely for a proper latte out of the machine. Told no. Breakfast was luke warm. Staff seemed inexperienced.
Staffs are very polite and friendly.
My booking had not been logged from hotels.com to the hotel There was no table available inthe restaurant at 4pm when it opened although it did not appear full The menu is poor with what I would describe as teenagers favourites
Great location. Good gym facilites. Nice food.
In Synergy with the Hydro
Probably the best designed, best organised hotels we have ever stayed in. Perfect for attending an event at the Hydro.
Fairly new property close to and walking distance to Glasgow Hydro for concerts and to Armadillo for meeting events.
Lovely hotel, I’ve stayed here many times. The rooms are spacious, very clean, and comfortable bed.
Just so good and easy
Room was spacious clean and a nice view. Staff very helpful and friendly.
Great hotel and provided the comfort we needed on this trip. The bed is great and the staff were welcoming.

Just disappointed that this hotel couldn’t service my room while I was there for 3 nights They did tell me I wouldn’t be getting any fresh towels each day unless I asked at reception but then they didn’t even go into my room at all. Very odd considering how much I was paying Two sachets of sugar in the coffee supply which seemed to be for the three nights too
