Really good place to stay. Great access to midtown

Great location. Minimalistic, smallish but clean, comfortable and quiet. Front desk staff are extremely helpful. Recommended.

Great location - easy to walk to all places and close to transport links. Hotel lobby is up stairs and off the Main Street. There is a communal seating area and a bar on this level too. Lifts to all rooms are accessed by using key card. As a solo traveller the area felt very safe and the hotel felt safe and secure. 24 hour reception - staff I dealt with were friendly. Area to store luggage once you check out. Check out is only at 12pm. Rooms were immaculately clean. They had everything I needed, including shampoo and conditioner plus a hairdryer. I booked a bunk room but got given a double bed which was great!! I would most certainly recommend this hotel and will consider staying here again on my next visit.

Great location at walking distance from main attractions and Landmarks in NYC. Reasonable price, the pods are clean and comfortable. Highly recommend.

Great location, clean, friendly

We enjoyed a queen room on the 4th floor. It's the service at the front desk and the custodial staff that I really appreciate. So friendly, so clean, so responsive. Rooms are small, but we don't linger and instead get out and enjoy NYC. The location is excellent, the queen-size has a longer space for toiletries in the bathroom than the bunk pod, if this matters. I did ask to be changed to a different queen when the heat kicked on and the motor was loud. But the change was done with good grace and quickly. The morning cafe has good coffee, really tasty yogurt parfaits, and morning sweets at reasonable prices for NYC.

Good. Wish I knew you could request an iron/board from front desk. Maybe mention that somewhere. Also, option to access a refrigerator would be great.

The pod hotel is two blocks from port authority bus station and mins away from Times Square! It’s relatively quieter than most neighbourhood and the price of the hotel is reasonable. The only issue I had was the “resort” fee. What is this?

We stay here everytime we come to NYC, which is often because we are from upstate. We park in Jersey and train to manhattan so parking isn’t an issue in our case. These are Affordable rooms , they’re clean , the size is all you need for even 2 people ,walk in waterfall showers with hot water, close to all things you’d want to do out in this area including trains / subways for transportation to other areas of the city, staff is friendly / will hold luggage , wonderful views from floor to cieling windows , usually we are able to check in early and this round we did a late checkout for no fee. The bartenders are always awesome as well when you go down for happy hour. You’re also right by a 24/7 deli with great food as well as a convenience store 2 doors down. I recommend to anyone coming this way. It doesn’t have to cost you $500 a night to stay right by Times Square. Give this place a try if you’re thinking about it!

Very efficient, excellent bathroom. The air flow noise and heater were very noisy.

The location and the price were wonderful. The bedside light was out, and the power switches and dryer were really sticky (yuck!). I'll bring disinfecting wipe next time.

What a great find! Excellent location within walking distance of everything in the NYC midtown area, also very close to the subway and bus station. Many restaurants on 9th Avenue. The hotel is modern and had everything we needed. Compact layout of the room, which was perfect for us and our stay. We even enjoyed a view from the room on the Hudson River. I highly recommend Pod Times Square for a visit in New York City! Super!

More often than not when I travel to see relatives in NJ, I build in a day to get over jet lag in NYC. Every time I go to POD Hotel Times Square as they are exactly what I need; a clean place with a comfy bed and a nice shower located near every major NYC mass transit line I want to take. No notes.

Practical space, cheapest hotel i could find in the area. 15 min walk to javits center and MSG huge plus

Pleasantly surprised

This was my first stay at Pod Times Square and I would definitely stay again. The room was clean and very well organized. Yes, the space is small, but it includes everything you need exactly where you need it. My only complaint is the elevator (you need to take two elevators up and down), but I realize this must have been an architectural adaptation. Coffee in the room would be a big plus, but it's not so far away.

No food served at restaurant. No fine dining in the area.

No frills but price was right

So glad we discovered this hotel. Super affordable, very functional without feeling cheap. No frills but we didn’t need them. Bunk beds were comfortable. TVs didn’t work but it wasn’t a big deal. Location was fine, maybe a couple blocks away from the main tourist areas but didn’t feel sketchy. Will stay here again.

Scammed me.

I booked a room for day trip in New York. Upon check in I have noticed a sharp chemical smell from the bedsheets. The front desk staff were unable to switch the room due to availability. After a short deliberation I elected to cancel my stay due to concerns about the smell. The hotel charged me the full stay fee and refused refund.

I was thoroughly impressed with this hotel. It was very minimal but had a lot of necessities. It would have been nice to have a mini fridge in the room!

I love everything abt this property except the water wasn’t hot.it was lukewarm which is ok that the only issue I had.the body wash coulda been refill but dats all abt it

I had a great stay at Pod Times Square Hotel! The staff was wonderful—friendly, helpful, and made check-in a breeze. The location was perfect, just a quick walk to all the places I needed to go, which made exploring the city super convenient. The room was clean and comfortable, but I do wish it had a fridge and a microwave for added convenience. Overall, a solid choice for a stay in NYC if you don’t need those extra amenities. Would definitely consider staying again!

Great location, but poor experience. Our first room ended up flooding due to a leak and we were relocated to a different room without any notification until we got to the hotel and tried going into our room. Our next room was better, but the water drained very slowly in the sink and shower. Location was perfect, but hotel experience was not enjoyable.

I really enjoyed my stay here. I’m a big fanof pod hotels, and New York is one of my favorite places to be, so this was great for a wonderfulstaycation. The only draw back that I found was that the TV only had the news as an entertainment option. I didn’t find it to be too big of a deal, due to the purpose of my visit. I definitely will stay here again!

Very well located, I asked for a quiet room and was upgraded. Room was quiet, small but a good size for one person. Staff very friendly. Small problems: usb charger by the bed wasn't working. No outlet near the desk to charge computer (there's one below but didn't fit my charger adaptor). Sheets a bit worn out (starting to tear) The only thing that I'd really complaint is that there's no proper blackout. The blinds have a big gap and the room is bright as soon as the sun rises, if you're a light sleep like myself, even with eye mask it gets too bright by 6-7am in winter.

Great location! Close enough to subway but at a good distance from Times Square where you are not near all the craziness! Staff was nice and they store your bags after check out if you’re like me and want to continue exploring the city before your flight.

Good location & easy walk to the Javitts center, but the bed was extremely firm. Good quiet bar, but no food service in the hotel. Price was on par for the small room. If you just need a bed & bath without all the frills, then this is a good deal.

Tried the Pod for a 2night stay for Broadway shows. 42nd and 9th feel very unsafe walking back from theatre after the show. Overall would pay more to be right in theatre area. Traveled with my teenage daughter and felt very unsafe after dark. We stayed in the bunk bed room for fun. Room very nice, super small but that was fine. Beds hard as a rock haha. Wouldn’t do that again. Overall Pod property is nice, just the area wasn’t ideal. Wonderful staff.

I recommend this very pleasant, clean, affordable, hotel in central NY!
