Amazing view from the room
The room with very nice seaview. Old bed with bad matracess. Salt wather in the shower. Receptionist nice, maybe too pushy, he sold to us purposely wrong ferry tickets
terrible hotel .. very expensive
Terrible !! the hotel is very expensive in comparison with other hotels, upon arrival no room was available, the receptionist tried to send us to another hotel and after our rejection .. he gave us a room !! so there were rooms available initially !! no pool as is shows in the pictures on expedia !! no TV in room ... there is no lobby ! reception is just a desk next to the staircase ! there is no normal water for washing and showering .. only salty water !!! you need to buy mineral bottled water for washing ! far away from the harbor .. long walk to the restaurants and supermarkets ... very loud noise and music from the night shows on the beach till late night ... lots lots of mosquitoes.. staff hardly speak English and rude !! tired or writing more negative words about this hotel .. sad to call it a hotel !!
Better rooms on island for cheaper.
The rooms were just ok, but you have to climb 66 stairs to get to them. At least that's how many steps I had to climb to reach my room. Also, all the water in the rooms is salt water. So when you shower after swimming at the beach you are just rinsing yourself off with more salt water. And the wi-fi didn't work in the room, only down by the service counter. Also, this hotel is near all the bars and clubs. At night, you can hear the LOUD music from every bar crashing together so good luck getting a good night sleep.
The bathroom was extremly dirty. The worse value of money ever.
Helpful staff, nice breakfast, wifi wasn't great in rooms but who really needs to be on the phone when you have a view like this.
Great staff room a dump
The hotel itself is situation on the far side of the noisy beach. Even though it was quite a distance you could hear the music from slinky bar at 2am and vibrations. It didn't bother me butility can imagine someone after peace it would. This hotel has lots of steps and isn't practice for anyone with walking difficulties. The room was disgusting. Not even a bed just a mattress on the floor. And having to walk through a vile dirty smelly area to get to the room. The view was great and the outside of the hotel was a nice area but this beach is very dirty full of rubbish. Breakfast was great. Really yummy. Consisted of 2 eggs 2 toast fruit and a hot drink plus juice. The staff were lovely and very helpful. I think they are doing alot of work right now so maybe the rooms will get better. They can't get any worse and look nothing like the photos. It's a shame because the staff make it otherwise a lovely stay.
Best 2* hotel ever!!!
Staff - the couple that run the hotel are so lovely. And everyone tht works there! Food - best padthai ever! All homemade. Room - basic but functional. Location - right across the bay from the party. Is noisy at night 8 -2am. But we slept through it. Right by the beach. Golden sands. Tide goes right out by evening. Is right in to the deck chairs by 12pm. Wifi - can FaceTime and stream films. Overal - best 2* resort we have ever stayed in. Would highly recommend.
Wouldn't recommend
Music from the clubs up the beach can be heard until 2 am. Paper thin walls so I could hear everything going on in the next room. Didn't get to sleep until 5 am! Nice location though.
Ideal for relaxing
The hotel was good for if you wanted to be close to the action but not in the thick of it. Other hotels in the town looked cramped with no view but at the beach front you woke up to a lovely view of the empty beach. At the moment there is a lot of building work going on around the hotel so the outside looks a bit scruffy and there is a bit of noise - obviously this will only be for the short term. The room we had was a hillside bungalow, quite a few steep steps up to it but the room was spacious and had everything you needed (wifi, air con, cable tv, hot shower, balcony, fridge etc). The free breakfast; although it was only a choice of fried or scrambled egg on toast was very nice and saved you walking out for 15 minutes to get to the nearest shop. Also there were free sun loungers on the beach and free use of the hotels kayaks. The staff we also lovely!!
Amazing view of the bay, but horrible experience!
The view from the terrace of the bay was great, but everything else was not. The room was very basic, and was not cleaned once. For some reason we had to change rooms after our first night, which was pretty annoying, luckily the second room upstairs was a bit nicer and had the terrace. The guy on reception tried to sell us the Maya Bay boat trip literally every time we walked past reception, which was soo irritating! Do not book the boat trip with him, it is 200 baht per person cheaper if you book in town, we paid 250 baht pp. there was a messy construction site right next to the hotel. The hotel gets raided by a group of monkeys, which is pretty scary! Our only positives are, you get wifi in room, can use there kayak for free and the view across the bay.
Great staff and good location
Great staff in this hotel, good for the price offered. Only issues are the toilets seemed to always stink, maybe offer something strong in these rooms to mask the smell. Other than that the location is good being right on the beach, you can rent a kayak and snorkels from the hotel for 100THB, 10 minute walk to the pier and all the bars, you can hear the bars music until the wee hours, I suggest either popping a sleeping tablet to sleep through this, get ear plugs, or to be so drunk that the noise doesn't bother you.. Music only seemed to go late on the Friday night while we were there (3am) but Saturday night finished around midnight. Good basic breakfast (2 eggs on toast with coffee), but this was a nice change from the rest of hotels offering the full buffet. Rooms aren't cleaned daily which is fine as it's cheap to stay here. I would recommend this hotel however unless you're used to the Ritz.
Fantastic service and charm!
Great little find this was! A bit further away from the party scene a 5 minute stroll but this was great as we could sleep when we returned! Song and Tony really made our stay enjoyable, good breakfast, Local knowledge and hired us a kayak for 100 baht a fraction of the price you would pay along the beach! Easy to walk to from the harbour about 5 minutes maximum!
bad bad n just plain bad
From what looked like a lovely hotel was seriously the opposite. From the pictures it looked lovelupy however was the complete opposite. With a dirty beach plus a building site next door. Was a mess. Paid extra for the breakfast buffet on the beach which turned out to be egg on warm bread. For the price absolutely disgusting. Shower was salt water too
Friendly staff, clean & comfortable room.
We had a lovely stay at Ko Phi Phi beach front resort. The staff were excellent, friendly and attentive. They cleaned the room daily to a high standard. The room was basic, but well furnished, including a fridge and easy to work safe. The views are incredibly good. Only downside is the noise from the bars across the bay, if you are a light sleeper or not going out to join in, then I would be cautious about staying here! The beach was lovely and quite during the day, a 15min walk from the central village, but far enough away to feel secluded and calm.
Terrible location and bad condition
There are several problems with the hotels: 1. there are several bars across the narrow bay that play loud music until 3am in the morning. Sitting inside the hotel room we can clearly hear the mix of loud music. The hotel provides no infrastructure to help reduce the noise problem, and no warning about the problem before booking or checking in. 2. no wifi 3. the restroom smells stinky. Overall, it was a terrible stay. The only plus side is that the staffs at the hotel are pretty friendly. We did not want to blame them. The management should seriously deal with the noise problem.
Probably best view of the beach

Super Noisy, bad air con, but good location
This hotel is not what I was expecting, it isn't near the party places so I thought it would be quieter, it's just as loud as being at the beach party opposite the accom on the other side of bay. Our air con didn't work so they changed us room, it then rained and the roof in new room leaked and the bed was soaked. Not a good experience, barely slept for 3 nights. Staff excellent and breakfast amazing. The rooms just need more work and some more sound proofing and it would be a perfect spot.
