The bathrooms of the bedroom are very bad, the sink looks like a prison cell, A/C wasn’t working properly, elevators are a real mess.
Right in the heart of things. Easy walk almost everywhere! Central Park, theatre, dining…
I enjoyed the location very much. We walked to all the Broadway Shows within minutes. The location is perfect if you are in town for Broadway life. The elevators are quite a problem. Very slow and always a line and a long wait.
Got charged $45 for a drink, small cramped room with bad view, no towels or toiletries to accommodate.
Really dirty and moldy bathrooms
Convenient
Odd but not bad
Two of 4 elevators were out of service, which made getting up and down extremely slow and difficult. The check-in lounge was dark with people in low loungers made it a bit odd. The small restaurant on the outside, claiming it knew how to make multiple versions of hot chocolate didn't, and was most expensive.
Very clean front desk staff extremely helpful I just wished they would have put bottled water in the room.
Amazing location. Nice facilities. The actual room was nothing special but that can be overlooked for the location and vibe of the rest of the hotel. The lobby was very nice and had lots of places to sit and chill. Had an issue with the air conditioner/heater and someone was in our room within ten minutes to fix it. This will be my go to hotel whenever I’m in the city mainly for location/affordability
Noisy
The elevators were a mess but otherwise decent stay for a couple of nights. I wouldn’t stay here for more than a weekend.
Bad
The additional resort/ facilities fee was very high and you got nothing for it . Saw other hotels additional fees were a lot less and you got something back , for example a voucher towards snacks
I booked a deluxe king room...when I got there they told me I have a Queen room, the room was outdated, old and not clean, Ive stayed here before and it was much better, however this time the room was terrible..and changing room without notifying what I paid for was not very professional...I NEED A REFUND!!
Booking process specifically said resort tax was payable March – Dec. On arrival (in February) I was charged $45 per night which I disputed however the hotel manager insisted it was a mandatory charge despite showing screenshots I took when booking. He said it included luggage storage (it didn’t); gym (didn’t use) and wifi (basic service offered by even the cheapest motels). I was told to speak to Expedia. After a very lengthy/frustrating conversation I was refunded, but not how I wanted to spend the first hour of my vacation. The hotel is rated 4 star - downstairs bar area is nice (apart from leaking ceiling/bucket) but rooms are basic. Bathtub was scuffed; stainless-steel sink reminded me of a public toilet; peeling paint by the clean towels and a damaged door. Those lifts in service were not sufficient for guests and 1 water machine for the whole hotel. Expedia emailed advising luggage storage $2 per item on check out, so not included!. To add insult, it was $3 per item. Overall, the location was excellent and no street noise in the rooms. Room was fine but don’t expect 4 star, and ensure you are aware of the resort tax. Correct information is key to a good experience and there has to be accountability by both Expedia and Paramount. Expedia did eventually accept responsibility for the resort tax issue, however I feel disappointed by the hotel manager’s lack of interest. If your hotel is marketed through Expedia, you have a responsibility to ensure details are correct.
Excelent service
It was great, I did have a ac problem. It was way to hot and every time I tried to turn it down it would just go up higher.
Rooms were small and not set up well, my things were moved around when housekeeping came into the room. The elevators need a major overhaul. Very rarely worked staff was directing people to the freight elevators the whole time we were there. Definitely will not be back at this establishment. Should have listened to the reviews I read before booking I guess.
The elevators were horribly slow and had a mind of their own, skipping the floor you’re waiting on and then stopping at every floor afterwards. Add 20 minutes to your schedule to get where you are going! No coffee in the rooms. This is the only hotel I have ever stayed in that didn’t have a coffee pot in the bedroom. Towels hidden behind mirror in the bathroom! Comfortable bed and staff were helpful when needed.
Very small room, no heating. No good cleaning, no towels replaced
The room was very small And the heat would not shut off it was like a sauna 81° whole time. If you need a cheap place to stay and don't care about amenities this is your place.
Had to ask numerous times for housekeeping, as well as maintenance on broken window, TV, and sink faucet. Went three days without any follow-up from management or concierge even though I requested each day.
DO NOT STAY HERE ! The hotel is nothing like the photos, very unsafe ! You will be scammed or robbed. It’s not worth the risk
Not Luxe- Good Deal For Just a Place to Sleep
Rooms are very small--hardly room to turn around or manage luggage. Bathroom--sink is squished beside the tub and there is no counter space. Not a luxury place, but good if you don’t plan to be in your room much. Great location!
The room are to small
Unfortunate
Unfortunately 3 of the 4 elevators were broken and we often had to wait up to 30’minutes for the elevator to get from our room to the lobby. Our room was also uncomfortable with a temperature nearing 80* and windows that didn’t open to let in a little air. Great location, but not the best experience at all.
My room was very comfortable and I could control the room temperature and use heat as it was very cold in NYC. The check in was very easy and friendly. The location was perfect, especially for going to the theatre- I could get to my shows in 15 minutes or less.
Excellent location, Top tier customer service
Fantastic service, professional and friendly staff made a great experience. I will be back!
Not bad for the price. Only good thing was location, close to Times Square. Room service is no the greatest. Had to request toilet paper twice along with hand towels and Kleenex. Requested from front desk and Only got toilet paper and that was after we saw room service in the hallway. Elevators….4 elevators but only two working causing crowds and I mean crowds of like 20-25 people at times waiting for an elevator. Overall, if you don’t mind wasting 15-20 minutes of your stay waiting for an elevator or having your room have the essentials….go for it.
Loved the proximity to everything we wanted to see.
El hotel Esta Muy bien ubicado, justo en time squeare La hab tiene lo basico pero limpia y comoda.
Feet away from Times Square great location to theatre district and excellent restaurants
It was ok
Loved this place
Our stay was amazing. The staff was excellent. Very comfortable
Booked a King Deluxe only to be found out, upon arrivaI, was downgraded to Queen because room unavailable. Room very small and weird bathroom with jail cell sink and toilet slanted where foot would be almost out door. Luckily we were out all day and just one night. Please find other hotels people!
I was very excited to visit but there was a lot of stuff that I didn’t like. It has 19 floors and only two of four elevators working. I almost lost my flight just to get to the first floor. Prices are too high for an ok room and a not ok bathroom with no vents. Not only that the ac was almost impossible to make work and we were stuck with the heat from the bathroom because since there is no vent it just goes everywhere.
EXCELLENT LOCATION. NICE HOTEL
We stayed in the 6 person bunk bed room with our 4 children. Although it was nice to find one room for all 6 of us the room was nothing but beds. No tv in the room no table and chair to eat nothing all there was was beds and a bathroom. Great for college age kids who want to go to the city but for a family with 4 young children it was a little tough. Wish I would have just got 2 double bed rooms instead. The location of the hotel is amazing tho. 50 feet from Tyne heart of Times Square. The price is also very good for the location.
During the Fashion Week when there were huge numbers of guests flowing in and out of Paramount, two of the four elevators were under maintance, thus the wait time to travel up to the rooms was inconvient and perhaps a bit unsafe for emergencies.
Highly recommended
Great stay, convenient location, safe, rooms where quiet, and great customer service.
The property did a bait and switch with our room. The first room we were in was not cleaned, so we were moved to a 2nd room (neither room was the room we booked through Expedia which showed 2 double beds) and we were told they were out of this room (which we purposely had booked). In our 2nd room there was no security latch on the door. We needed to request for one to be installed. The electricity is faulty and loose. The outlet by the bed fried my charger (which no longer works) - turns out it was loose in the wall and caused a short in my chargers. The front desk was friendly enough but could do absolutely nothing to help us. The person I stayed with was actually afraid to leave the room and we attempted to change hotels on our first night but told Expedia needed to work with the hotel to refund our stay before we could find something else because we had booked it as part of a package. The hotel was given 3 days to respond and instead took literally 5 weeks. I would not recommend staying here. The only convenience is that it was centrally located.
THE ROOM WAS SO SMALL, I KEPT HEARING RATTLING IN THE VENTS. I THINK IT WAS RATS.THE PLACE WAS CLEAN. NO BREAKFAST. ONLY A PASTRY SPOT IN FRONT. VERY NOISY. YOU COULD HEAR EVERY THING THAT WAS GOING ON OUTSIDE.I WILL NEVER BOOK THERE AGAIN.
Only two elevators working. I did not like the surprise $45 per night "resort fee". It did not show up anywhere when I booked the Hotel on Expedia. When I told the clerk when checking in she literally just shrugged. I will never ever stay here again. I should have read the reviews before booking. A lot of people did not like this hotel.
NY TimesSQ
Location is great, rooms are a bit small. Love the lobby/bar area great to meet with family and plenty of seating.
The only issue was the elevators, or lack of availability. Only 2 seemed to be in operation which caused a back up during peak times. Early morning and dinner especially. Other than that our stay was great! Housekeeping was amazing!
Check in time is 4pm whereas checkout time is 11am. So you dont even get to stay for 24 hours. Rooms are old and did not have a closet
Loved the Location, very clean rooms
Not worth

Rooms are super small, shower water leaks out as the shower curtain does not cover well. Room smelled very humid. Resort fee is Not refundable.
