Excellent
This is the one property of all the hotels I have ever stayed at around the world, that meets the 5 star criteria. The staff, airport transfer, the tranquility were flawless. I am definitely coming back.
Nice spot
Place was really nice
Some Hits, Some Misses
I recently stayed at the Palm Camayenne Hotel in Conakry and had a mixed experience. The rooms were comfortable and well-maintained, providing a good place to relax. One of the highlights was the room service—I ordered twice, and both times the food quality was excellent, easily the best part of my stay. I also appreciated the ATM on-site, which made accessing cash much easier, and the airport pickup was flawless, with no delays or confusion. However, there were some notable downsides. On my first night, loud music until midnight disrupted my sleep, which was frustrating after a long journey. The pool area was crowded and smoky, likely because outside guests are allowed, which took away from the experience. At the restaurant, the limited option of a buffet on one evening was disappointing. Another issue was the lack of support with taxi services—the hotel didn’t help us find fair-priced transportation, and we ended up with a driver who charged exorbitant rates for short distances. Overall, while Palm Camayenne is not up to the five-star standard you’d expect in other countries, it seems to be one of the better options in Conakry. Despite the drawbacks, I would consider staying again if no better alternatives are available.
I had a nice stay. The staff was great.
Excellent
Great people Olin hotel
Hotel with a nice pool beautiful see view Great staff
The best place to stay in Conakry , no question
Excellent
Service terrible. You must wait at least one hour to drink a beer. Slow service is unacceptable in an hotel which costs more than an hotel in Paris. Rooms are clean. People are friendly. Taste of foods in restaurant is average. Poor breakfast. It is better not to take breakfast in hotel.
I really loved staying at Hotel Palm Camayenne. Everyone at the hotel was really nice and I loved staying there. The view of the beach is amazing!! I want to stay there again if I visit Guinea again. Very beautiful hotel.
Great spot. Easy to walk around and the beach close by
Rooms and pool are great. Restaurant food options extremely limited for a vegetarian although breakfast is good. There are fewer restaurants opersting than the hotels.com website states so this is disappointing. Service could be improved - eg I was told on my final day my airport shuttle wasnt available at the time it was booked for.
We loved our stay at Palm Camayenne. The room was clean with a minor stain on carpet, but overall it was nice. It was cleaned everyday and house keeping was always so kind. As a matter of fact, the entire staff was kind and always helpful. We loved that we were able to move around a lot on foot, but happy that transportation was always nearby. Overall, we had an amazing stay at Palm Camayenne and we'll be back again soon. .

Vacation In Conakry
Nice place. The breakfast was great . Large variety of choices. coffee was perfect The outdoor was pleasant. I had a wonderful time.
Best finishes
I liked the location but the staff are ill trained therefore the whole experience was ruined because of it.
It’s a good hotel. Really understaffed while I was there because of corona virus. Overall I enjoyed my stay there. The price range was good as well.
Hotel is clean but short on staff may be because of Covid. Breakfast was poor on choice. Overall satisfied with my stay
Excellent stay
I really enjoyed my stay here. The service is friendly and the facilities are very clean and comfortable l.
Nice hotel
Nice hotel and wonderful staffs
very nice
One little remark, shampoo and other bath needs were not restocked daily.
Great from the outside, infrastructure repair need
While the aesthetics are pleasing, one quickly finds out how old the Palm really is. The hotel has a great view of the Atlantic ocean and guests can enjoy meals overlooking the ocean as the sun sets in. A bar overlooks a pool that is unusually warm but one gets used to it and enjoys it despite the warm weather. Great food and drink menus at the bar - check out the Tex Mex! The gym is really poor - two treadmills in need of replacement, a leg extension machine that is broken, a back machine, and elliptical. The worst thing is that all these are squeezed in a 3.5 meter by 6 meter room. It doesn't allow for more than 3/4 people at one time without it getting too crowded. The rooms are adequate and most overlook the pool and give you a good view of the ocean. For the price you pay, you would hope for something slightly better like at the Millennium Suites. The bathroom is where you can tell that the infrastructure of the hotel is ancient. Every day, there were issues with the water from the pipes, either there was no cold water and only hot water, or there was cold brown water that stuttered out of the faucet or tub. Even in the toilet after flushing you would hear noises within the pipes as if something was off. In the lobby I overhead one guest reporting that he had been burned when showering because the cold water suddenly went off. It's a good place to visit for the views, meals, and use of the pool. Find somewhere else to stay and visit the hotel for entertainment.
Beautiful views and the pool is lovely. Breakfast offers a variety of options, including omelettes made to order.
Good Place to Stay - Well Situated
Friendly & Efficient Staff Comfortable Rooms Well Situated Walking Distance to restaurants and Shops
My choice
I travel to conakry regularly and have stayed at a few hotels now. The Palm is now my hotel of choice and have stayed 4 times so far not including booked for 3 days next week. Pretty good facilities, staff are excellent very safe with plenty of security around.
Pleasant staff but hotel does not deserve 5 stars
Hotel needs more amenities and rooms need to be cleaned .
Absolutely desappointing. Bah expérience. I will never recommend this hotel to any friend
Over priced
The hotel Is well located and walking distance to the grand mosque. Rooms are and should be good for the price you are paying. However, the staff, services and breakfast menu needs a major improvement by management!!
Parfait
Too pricy for what’s offered, expected more.
Goed hotel, ik voel me hier gewoon thuis
Nickel
Personnel chaleureux Chambres propres Variété de plat Buffet extrat
Nothing
