Overrated

The hostel is really clean and has a nice aesthetic but that’s about it. I think you’re paying more for the look than anything else. The restrooms are cleaned often throughout the day but there are no air fresheners... so at the end of the day/evening with the hot air and humidity the whole corridor starts to smell bad. Also, almost half of the over head showers weren’t working and the placement of hooks within the shower were close to the water so everything would get splashed on ... especially when you’re forced to use the hand held shower head. If you’re into doing your makeup, the light quality is really poor for that. It’s like doing your makeup at a club. The rooms have really nice blackout curtains and mood lighting. The mattress and pillow is okay. The safe is ridiculously small and at the foot of the bed/inside the curtain so kind of awkward. So bring an extra lock for your luggage/backpack. Also, the bedroom door opens inward which is unsafe. There are some pieces of paper hanging up advertising food tours and a music event but it’s really minimal. I imagined the hostel would be way more inclusive and community oriented than that. The staff doesn’t interact much with the guests, which was fine for me but I feel like (since it’s such a big place), if I brought an outsider into my room, no one would notice. The rooftop is just it. A rooftop with a bunch of platforms to sit on. But the location isn’t bad... pretty close to a lot and isn’t very touristy.

Nice location and what I got was beyond my expectations:) will come back when I visit Bangkok next time!

Great sleep, but if you close the curtains you have no air, the room smelled like humidity. Location wise was great, close to looots of things but not lots of restaurant close (to my knowledge just one next to it) Breakfast, not that varied but cant expect much, right? Clean, pretty good. Service, meh.

Great stay in Bangkok

Once Again Hostel was perfectly located in old town Bangkok, very close to Chinatown, Wat Arun Ratchawararam Temple and several other incredible monuments and palaces. However, it also felt very cozy and off the beaten path. I felt dropped into a food paradise and would definitely stay here again. The staff was awesome and helpful. The dorms were clean and felt private, safe, and secure.

Ok for a short stay

I was looking forward to my stay here, I heard about the hostel via word of mouth on my travels in Thailand and I was impressed by their website and image. Overall though I would say that personally (for me) I was disappointed. Where it excels is in social activities and the location is ok, but once you get a little used to Bangkok getting around is not so bad. I had previously stayed in other accommodation in the city with less expense and higher standards and facilities (eg included cooked breakfast, immaculate bathrooms). Extra charges here such as towel rental were a surprise to me. The staff were very nice, the vibe is good, the location fine. I missed a window/ natural light in the superior dorm and felt like some finishing touches were missing from the place.

Modern hotel with friendly staff. Great atmosphere

The staff was very friendly. I really enjoyed the daily trips they offered. They also treated us to dinner during my stay. The beds were spacious and the privacy curtains were greatly appreciated. I absolutely loved the interior design and all of the plants. Also the rooftop at nighttime was a great place to make friends. The atmosphere was awesome. I will be staying here again

Wish I booked longer

The staff was so friendly and helpful and the rooms and facilities were very clean. I only stayed one night but would definitely recommend to friends.

Excellent Staff and location!!

PROS The staff is very resolutive and helpfull. The location is super close to temples, khao san road, and Thipsamai ( delicious Pad Thais) You need to give a deposit of 200baths per towel and 100baths per key. The breakfast is basic but for the price that you paid is very good. Beds are confortable and clean.

Very noisy party hostel. Not worth the money.

The lobby and the rooftop were the best things about this hostel. They were clean, spacious and welcoming but unfortunaly that's where It stopped. What we booked on hotels.com and the room we booked was not what we recieved and the staff said they hadn't yet updated it on hotels.com because they swapped the rooms around. (No that's our fault) They did try to fix the situation but the solution saw us moved to a new room right next to the staff room and not a solution at all as the staff like to stay awake intil 3am. Very noisy hostel so if you want any sleep I wouldn't recommend and the bathrooms were dirty the whole time we stayed. Breakfast was toast and cornflakes so nothing to fet excited about. Stayed here's as it's a fair way from Khoi SAN Road but still just as much a party hostel then if we stayed on the road itself.

Nice hostel

Great hostel. Breakfast is only cereal and toast but it's better than nothing. The dorm rooms and bathroomsuites are in great condition.

Decent hostel with unique style

I have mixed feelings with this hostel. I really like how they designed the hostel,love it! The bed is comfy,bathroom is clean and nice. Late night like Friday night and Saturday night can be loud from other people getting drunk from the walk way. The location is good enough if you dont mind walking to places or taking a bus,tuk tuk or taxi to go anywhere else ( I prefer the hostels that are more convenient like close to BTS or MRT so I dont have to deal with the traffic and scamming taxi/tuk tuk drivers ). Over all its a great experience,I would recommend anyone stay here to see way of Thai life and surrounding attractions.

+++ nice place for very reasonable price 20 min walk from khaosan road and 10 min golden mount awesome bed in dorm! big and comfort also our dorm has balcony, it doesn'n have any view but you can dry your clothes there :) great roof top terrace, it looks like nobody knows about it so every evening we stayed there alone with this perfect view and beer :) lobby just doesn't look like hostel's lobby but like hotel - very beautiful and stylish --- water heating works not in every shower cabin also they are still in renovation fase so there might be some smell of paint or glue in the corridor but they are fixing it pretty fast

Best hostel in Thailand

This is the best hostel we stayed in whole Thailand. Good price, amazing shared rooms with bed's curtains that make seems you're in a private room. Amazing atmosphere. We made friends for the whole trip. There's also a coffee shop that makes a really good cappuccino inside.

The best hostel I ever stayed

Once Again Hostel is indeed a cheap hostel with a great facility. Their room and toilet were very clean. Staff are friendly too. Highly recommended for those who are looking for budget stay.

Poor facilties....

There are 4 shared shower and 3 was spoilt when I was there. The locker in each bed is not working well, is very old and alignment is off. need to try many times before it could work. The interior is much older and messy that the photos.. Toilet is extremely dirty, papers everywhere on the floor throughout the day. Other guests all making lots of noise throughout the night till 6am. Guy coming in to female dorm.... couldn't sleep the whole night. Staff are friendly and helpful. Not an ideal location, easiest transport to town is 9m walk to the boat. The whole city is terribly congested and taxi wouldn't take you if you are exploring the old city. The other option is to take motocycle taxi.

This is the best hostel I've ever stayed at! Wonderful staff, clean and spacious, great location, and very social. 10/10 would come again!!

Great hostel!

Had a nice rooftop area for socialising. The only downside with this hostel was the breakfast, only toasts and cereal.

Lovely and cozy

The hostel was pretty cozy and very stylish with a cafe conveniently located downstairs. I adored the rooftop terrace and concrete rustic feel the hostel had. The stuff was loads friendly and helpful.

Convenient location, helpful staff, very good

The staff are very flexible and helpful, facilities are good, close to a lot of the temples such as Wat Pho, Wat Arun and the Grand Palace. I think the only thing it's not close is a train station. It's about a 40min walk away but it's cheap to get a motorbike taxi or tuk tuk. Awesome stay! Wifi was good too :). Not good enough to stream tv shows but good for everything else. Thanks!

One of the best!

This was one of the best hostels we have had during the last 7 months of travel. The beds were big and had a great privacy curtain and had lockers in the bed area. The hostel was new and very modern and had a great rooftop patio. To top it all off the staff were amazing! Some of the most helpful we have had. They answered any questions, loved suggesting places and even offered to keep our little day pack there when we couldn't mail it home in time. They are holding it for 1 month for us! Very lovely and we will definitely be coming back! HIGHLY recommend!

Friendly Owner, Helpful Staff, Modern Style Hostel

Stayed here for 2 nights while in Bangkok. The owner spent his time answering all of my questions and his English was very good. Staff was helpful calling a metered taxi for me upon departure. The spicy spaghetti with Thai sausage was great from their cafe. Curtains for privacy with each bunk, an outlet, and decent size lock box in bunk with key fit my small/medium sized backpack. Free breakfast was simple with cereal, milk, coffee, toast, jam, and watermelon and small bananas. This hostel was definitely the most modern/trendiest hostel I have ever stayed in. Short walk to 7-eleven.

Good, clean hostel

New hostel so very clean. Staff was great and really helpful. Replied to my emails before arriving and gave me an idea of how much to pay for a taxi or tuk tuk from train station to the hostel. Called tour company for me and helped sort out details for the tour. I booked a deluxe dorm room but the room didn't have a window so it was dark. Since I was out most of the day that was fine for sleeping and actually felt nice and cozy. Bed was very comfortable. Large bathroom with plenty of sinks, shower stalls and toilets. Unfortunately, by night time the women's bathroom got pretty messy so it could use a late sprucing up. About 15 minutes walk to Kaosan Road but there are many more interesting neighborhoods close by to explore. Hint, if going shopping at Siam Square or MBK Mall take the canal taxi. For 9 bhats it's much nicer than getting stuck in traffic in a taxi or tuk tuk. Breakfast is toast, jam, cookies and tea but they have other food and coffee you can buy. 7-11 is down the street along with plenty of restaurants. Hung out in the lounge and met some other travelers and did some fun things with them like going to a rooftop bar, eating Indian food and walking around Kaosan Road area.

全体的に綺麗でした、受付の人もニコニコしてて丁寧に教えてくれました！ 部屋も綺麗でした。カオサン通りから15分ほど歩きました。少し暗い道で怖い思いもしましたが、ここで大切な友達ができました。

El personal es muy amable, los baños olían un poco mal pero todo fue perfecto.

위치가 좋았고 생각보다 사진처럼 엄청 깨끗하진 않았다. 직원은 영어로 잘 설명해주었다. ㅎㅎ

トイレがやや衛生的でなかった。

개스트하우스라기에는 시설도 좋고 각 침대가 넓고 침댜에 커튼도 잇어서 호텔에 머문 느낌을 받을수 잇엇습니가 값싼 가격에 추천합니다. 그리고 카오산에서 걸어서 한 십분이라 위치도 좋습니다.

カオサンまで徒歩10分以内程度のオシャレなホステル

外観や内装はオシャレなカフェ風で、若者向けな雰囲気です。客層も同年代が多いのかなと思いました。シャワーやトイレもキレイで、ドミトリーの寝室も清潔感があり、また泊まりたいなと思えるホステルでした。朝食付きなところもありがたいです。 泊まっていたのはほぼ欧米人の若い人で、アジア人は私と数人くらいだったと思います。なんとなく居づらい感じもありましたが、私がひとみしりしてるだけかもしれないです。笑 受付の方がとても親切で、タクシーを手配してほしいと頼んだら細かく行先や時間を聞いてくださり、スムーズに手配してくれました。

女子一人旅ても安心

とても広いドミトリーのベッドでした。スタッフもいつも笑顔で親切に対応してくれました。是非また泊まりたいです。

エントランスはカフェもあり、とてもおしゃれ。テラスで好きな時間にくつろげました。 トイレやシャワーは数があるので、どの時間も待つことはないし、きれい。 ちかくにおいしいご飯屋もあります。 駅が近くにないので、移動はタクシーでした。

きれいでオシャレ

宿泊者の90%くらいは白人で、アジア人（黄色人）は自分くらいだった。それがまた新鮮で楽しかった。 ただ同室の宿泊者に恵まれなかったことが残念。こればかりは自分では選べないので仕方ないが。

Good place if you see around the khosan load.

Clean, good staff, convenient to see around. I had no plan to this tour, but the staff is so kind, They told me a lot of info for sightseeing.

Good guest house

Best guest house. Reasonable price. Clean room, shower place. Trustworthy employee. I want to visit this place again. laundry service was also good.

Ein wirklich schönes, modernes und sauberes Hostel, ruhig gelegen, fussläufig zur Khao San Road. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, das gut Englisch spricht. Lediglich das Frühstück war etwas spartanisch. Würde es jederzeit wieder buchen und weiterempfehlen!

Very satisfied

굉장히 만족스러웠습니다. 비록 호텔은 다소 카오산에서 떨어진 골목 쪽에 있었지만 객실도 깨끗하고 암막커튼도 있어서 안정을 취하기 좋았습니다.

Limpio, práctico.

Habitaciones cómodas y limpias. El hostel esta bien cuidado y atendido, los servicios que ofrecen comida, desplazamientos etc, son correctos. La localización es buena. Me alojaría sin dudarlo si volviese a Bangkok.

Buen hostel

Es un hostel limpio. Hay un buen ambiente. Espacios comunes súper prácticos y cómodos. La ubicación no es la mejor ya que ni el subte ni el sky tren de dejan cerca . Pero se puede llegar en bus tranquilamente( zona oscura) El desayuno es aceptable! Camas cómodas Lo recomiendo , lo único malo es la zona y que el chek in es recién a las 14

다른 게스트 하우스에 비해 가격은 조금 있지만, 가본 게스트 하우스중 제일 깔끔하내요~ 1층 홀도 인테리어가 무척 예쁘고, 외국 친구들이 많아 좋습니다.

Urban, industrial and very pleasant hostel.

The staff was super friendly, one of the guys played violin in the lobby, it was breathtaking. Another one was an architect and had decided about the layout and interior design of the hotel. Amazing!

발리행 경유지로 태국에서 1박하는데 묵었던 숙소 입니다. 건물이 현대식으로 1층 레스토랑 및 2층 숙소 포함 매우 깔끔합니다. 개스트 하우스임에 불구하고, 다른 게스트하우스 대비 조용하게 지낼 수 있는 곳이였습니다. 남녀 함께 방을 함께 사용하셨던 분이 있어서 걱정했는데 다행히 여자 여행자들만 있는 방으로 받았습니다. 가능하면 남녀분리시켜서 배정하고 정 없으면 남녀 같이 방을 배정하는것 같습니다 참고하세요~
