The Innkeeper was so very sweet and the accommodations were amazing !! Great breakfast !! Truly a gem !!

This place was beautiful & the breakfasts we had were amazing! Only problem we had is our key unlocked the front door so anyone could get into our room, and there was no inside lock on our room or washroom, which was a bit uncomfortable for us.

I highly recommended olde square inn if you stop by Lancaster PA. This place are a amazing the costumer service is remarkable you won’t be disappointed

We were welcomed with a hug and it just got better from there! Nancy is a wonderful hostess with some of the best breakfast I have ever had. Very clean and very comfortable, felt very at home in the morning as I came downstairs to read and had coffee waiting for me. Can not wait to come stay again!!

Nancy was so sweet ! Went to Rennfaire for my birthday and stayed here which was close to it as well as a nice house, clean and she even put a sign out for my birthday and gave us vouchers for the winery nearby when she found out we were going! Such a nice place to stay

A most wonderful and welcoming hostess who has thought of everything possible to make her guests’ stay as comfortable and memorable as could be. Breakfast good enough for a Michelin star. Can’t think of a more perfect place to stay.

We stay at B&B as often as possible and this will rate as one of the very best. The host was absolutely delightful and tended to every detail. The breakfasts were some of the best we have tried. We highly recommend this inn.

Nancy was an outstanding hostess. Loved the property decoration and the added presence of the pool in the backyard. We really enjoyed the breakfast with the special "dessert option" every morning! Nancy provided a great location for visiting the Lancaster-Amish area and gave excellent options for touring and dining. If we get back to the area, we will definitely return. Highly recommend the property!

This is the place to stay!

If you’re going anywhere near this inn, I’d advise you to stay. Nancy is a phenomenal host. Asks,” What can I do for you? Do you need anything.” Her inn is very clean, her pool sparkles, her breakfasts are delicious, & she is knowledgeable about her town. When you are there, you feel like family.

Nancy is so friendly. Her breakfasts were awesome. Cute B&B. Her recommendations to places to see were great. Too bad we didn’t have much time to visit all. That means we have to return & will stay here again

Great stay and hospitality

We hosted a couple who were attending Lions Club meetings in Lancaster County, and they were treated very well. The owner Nancy was very accommodating with an early check-in on Friday, provided wine to the guests, and provided an early breakfast on Saturday. We will recommend the B&B to guests who visit the area.

The property is excellent, Nancy is so friendly and professional, everything at the Inn was perfect, very clean, quiet, excellent breakfast, Inn is in a convenience location. My daughter and I were there for a wedding at Elizabethtown and the Inn was near the Wedding Venue. Nancy is an excellent host, very professional. My daughter and I will be going back, I recommend the Inn for a weekend or a week, so convenient located right in the center of Mount Joy.

Lancaster County Gem

Nancy was wonderful innkeeper and a great cook. The place was beautiful and well kept. The B&B was very close to various restaurants, activities and shopping.

I can not say enough good things about this place! The owner Nancy is such a doll! She has the most beautiful flowers, and even gave me a start of them! The breakfast were so outstanding! It was truly an amazing experience! We’ll be back!!!!!!

Beyond Excellent

Loved it! Loved it!! Nancy was everything good and wonderful we read in previous reviews. She helped with places to eat, and ideas of where to visit in the area. Room was comfortable with Private Bathroom. The Inn was charming and historically well maintained. Plenty of space to be private or socialize. Enjoyed refreshing in the Pool. Then there was Breakfast, a wonderful way to start the day. We enjoyed our breakfast out back by the pool, then moved inside to the Dining Room when it was cooler, for the final morning we enjoyed our meal on the Porch. Wish we had one more day to try the upper Porch. Already planning to go back later in the fall. Yes, pamper yourself with a relaxing visit to the Olde Square Inn in Mount Joy.

Charmiest B&B in Lancaster

WOW! What a fabulous place to stay! The B&B/ home is so very charming and very well kept. Nancy was a perfect hostess. She knows the area like the back of her hand if you're looking for places to go, restaurants etc.... The breakfasts were as amazing as the scenery. The outdoor private pool was awesome as well. Nancy even brought us out wine whilst poolside. Definitely will visit again!

Nancy is the best! Made us feel welcome the entire weekend. Gorgeous house in a great town. I had a 10-mile run, and missed breakfast, and she even offered to make me one to go. Very warm and friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend. You won't be disappointed.

The Olde Square Inn was great. It is beautiful inside and out. Nancy, the innkeeper is incredibly friendly, helpful, and a great cook. Both breakfasts we had there were delicious, healthy, and hearty. We did not leave hungry. I would definitely stay here again if I’m in the Mt. Joy area.

Our room was big and comfortable with small private bath. Even though the room was off the dining room, we didn’t hear the guests in the morning. Even full with guests, the house was quiet. The owner was very gracious, friendly, and helpful. We enjoyed our breakfast, especially the French toast. Overall Good value.

The property is well located in the town. It is easy to find and a great location for forays on foot, out to the pubs, restaurants, coffee shops and more. Even though it is on the side of the main road, it is surprisingly quiet and provides a very relaxing atmosphere. Nancy is so welcoming and thoughtful, meeting her for the first time is like meeting a friend that you have known for ages.

It was enchanting over the phone, to tell you the truth and accommodating us for a late check in. I traveled with my husband and 2 service dogs from MIA to NYC for a wedding in Mt. Joy And to see my nephews in NYC On the way back. My room located on the first floor at the dinning room it was impossible since I could hear them all morning. And embarrassed to even make out of my door where the people were having breakfast. That same day I got the Wedding 10min away and the very last minute on our way out the door, the Inn Keeper wanted us to take my 2 service animals to the wedding. Never heard of been in a situation like that. Therefore, we did leave with the dogs. Having to take turns during the ceremony since their were people with dog hair allergies!!! Outside in the cold. I left the next morning and I receive a condescending letter, from the Inn keeper (Nancy). Stating that my dogs were PET and not service animals since I was going to leave them in the room and charge me a cleaning fee. I felt totally disrespected since , not only she call me a liar she made me take the dogs. Very disappointed. I’m one not to complain but this treatment was preposterous and inaceptable. Thanks Expedia for always accommodating us but this was just not a good experience at all.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights for our anniversary/babymoon. Nancy was amazing and very hospitable! The daily three course breakfast was delicous and homemade. The Inn was beautiful and well-kept. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend!

Our first visit in a B&B. The inn keeper is very welcoming, she goes out of the way to make you comfortable. This was a delightful stay. Breakfast was amazing, rooms are clean and quaint. The linens are comforting.

Lovely unique house built in 1917 and nice history of Mt. Joy. Welcoming and friendly inn keeper. We had a first floor room off the dining area. Very cozy feeling. Breakfast was well presented and served nicely. There were 5 other couples there and most were celebrating an anniversary or birthday. Made it very nice occasion.

Excellent B&B

Nancy greeted us like lost members of her family. We were shown our room and given all the jnfo we needed including run down of the local places to eat. The room was very clean and comfortable as was our bathroom. Breakfast was superb with inventive dishes served. First class.

We had a wonderful stay at the Inn. The Inn has beautiful architectural details and is decorated in a charming and kitschy way. The Innkeeper Nancy and her staff were welcoming and accommodating. The breakfasts were delicious! Our accommodations on the third floor were perfect for my family. Garden in the back of house is charming with an outdoor pool. Highly recommend this Inn. Would definitely come back!!!

Five stars, then some more

For our second visit to Nancy at the Olde Square Inn we had to stay two nights. One is good, but two is better. Nancy has out done herself. The quality of the home, the warmth of arrival and conversation, the staff (Joan is equally as sweet!), the deck/porch/pool, and not to mention the amazing food are second to none. My wife and I happened by the Olde Square Inn as a B&B to stop at on our way to VA 2 years ago. This time it was the cap to a wonderful road trip. I cannot recommend/ say enough great things about Nancy and the business she has mastered. On top of all the excellence, Nancy tweaked the Breakfast for my pregnant wife to meet her new dietary restrictions. I will certainly make any excuse to come from CT to visit Nancy in Mount Joy, PA. What a treat! (also worth noting Harveys BBQ two blocks away had great food, the Wolf Sanctuary of PA is worth a visit, and the heart of Lancaster was less than 30 minutes away - there is stuff to do, but the Olde Square Inn is the best part of the county!)

Wonderful!

My husband and I went to a murder mystery dinner at a local establishment and stayed here one night while in town. We couldn't Rave more about the wonderful service and beautiful accommodations! Breakfast was delicious and Nancy offered us wine upon check-in. Coffee was available 24 hours a day. Parking was on the street, but there is plenty nearby. Bathroom in the room was kind of small, but it is a old building, so that is to be expected. Overall would definitely recommend!

Olde Square Inn B&B was a delightful place to stay in a very nice community. The innkeeper (Nancy) was wonderful. She runs a great business. Knows when to interact with the patrons and when to leave them alone. Just the right balance of attentiveness. I would highly recommend for a special occasion or just a quiet overnight stay.

My fiancé and I absolutely love the olde square inn. The owner Nancy is so delightful and just makes you feel at home. The rooms are quaint and clean, each with a different theme. Breakfast in the morning never disappoints as who can resist some form of dessert in the morning. We will return every year to this magical place.

We were up in PAQuiet comfortable. I slept well, ate well. Was very comfortable.

My husband and I stayed two nights. Nancy treated us like family and is a wealth of knowledge about the area and an amazing host. The three course breakfast and little extras she provided went above and beyond what any hotel could provide. We would definitely recommend this to anyone staying in the area.

Great place to stay. Our room was a nice size with a fireplace and comfortable bed. Some street noise with the windows open but we did directly face the street. There are other bedrooms.

A Great Place

We stayed in the hotel before going to an Amish tour and the location is great, just a short drive. The Inn is nice and full of surprises like a DVDs library to watch and hot (and great) cookies every day! Also, Nancy (the Inn keeper) is extremely nice and can change the wonderful breakfast for special requests. We will definitely stay there again if we will be around (but for a week :)).

Olde Square Inn - A Great Choice!

I recently stayed at the Olde Square Inn in Mount Joy, PA. The innkeeper, Nancy, was welcoming and accommodating. The whole place was very clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. Nancy's breakfasts were absolutely delicious! My stay was very pleasant and I felt right at home. I will definitely be returning.
