Our trip in Holbox was on Nov 2024. We booked one of the treehouse cottage. Pros: First— staff are amazing, super helpful, and very welcoming. 2nd—the resort is top notch. Quiet. It gives that “jungle” type vibe. If you are all about connecting with nature, this is the perfect place to be. 3rd—the way the resort was located, it’s still walkable to their downtown area. Con: November- so many mosquitoes. I didn’t get to enjoy the lounge over the roof because I became the buffet. BRING bug spray. Restaurant in the resort provides healthy eats that are overpriced. The way the bathroom of our treehouse was designed had no ventilation. Worst- there was sewage issues, it was not pleasant.

The property is beautiful and zen. The free breakfasts are great. But…. the hotel is far from town so taxi is needed. The rooms are tiny and bathrooms tinier plus very dark (no sufficient lighting). The huts are very high so only for people who can make the climb. The stars at night are not lit therefore a real hazard.

More like glamping than hotel. Very nice design, but outdoor bathroom was a little scary, especially at night. Loud tourists easily wake you up when they return to their rooms at 4am. Very slow housekeeping, some days the room was not made. The service was kind, but slow. The food was average and needs improvement, Prices are high

I loved everything about this place. Food and Drinks were incredible. Staff was warm and kind. My only complaint would be the availability of lounge chairs/beds on the beach. People would save them at breakfast or during the day leave things to keep them. This should be monitored or you should have extra chairs to bring out if this happens.

Great hotel

We had to cancel our visit at short notice because our family home was lost in the Eaton wildfire. Nobody at Nomade returned our calls or even acknowledged us, let alone offered us a refund, credit, or anything else. These guys are all over Insta and their website talking about the healing spirit of the ocean and all this other new age BS, but they didn't treat us with basic human decency when we had lost literally everything we own. Act accordingly.

Wow, just wow. Nomade Holbox was by far the most amazing experience we experienced at Nomade Holbox. The warmth of the personnel is priceless, they truly care for their customers. The food, property and ambiance are top notch. We can’t wait to be back!

Nomade, a luxury hotel experience keeping the integrity of nature rather than replacing it. We stayed in an oceanfront suite with unobstructed views of the sea. Nomadic-inspired with premium comfort. A creative rustic oasis with a tribute to nature. The soft ambient light with vibey music was mesmerizingly and very relaxing. If your a foodie the dining options including healthy breakfast, delicious cocktails, lunch or dinner were exceptional. Attentive staff (Eric, Jorge. Daniela) are kind and very polite. Our only negative critique, all the menus are on QR codes which invades the peaceful and serene surroundings. Perhaps a menu that does not depended on technology but allows the guest to continue to escape into nature. I felt connected with my inner Bilbo Baggins as I was unsure if Nomade could deliver on delicious food, great cocktails, luxury accommodations and security. It nailed it!!

The hotel came up as a hotel near to the airport in Cancun, but it is 3 hours away. We had to find another hotel.

Excellent from A-Z. Wonderful property, friendliest staff in the island, Awesome location, powerful mosquitos and the coolest chill vibe Holbox style. Please refrain from coming here if you’re a regular tourist. If you’re a traveler, Welcome to Heaven on Earth.

Everything was excellent!!!

We had an amazing time at this hotel. We stayed in a moon temple room first and then upgraded to an ocean front room. Both rooms were fantastic. The staff was wonderful! We will definitely be back!

The hotel itself is beautiful. The staff are incredibly friendly and very helpful in every way. The problem with the hotel is primarily the fact that it is located on an island that has been overrun by mosquitoes. The hotel is incredibly eco-friendly, to the point where You essentially have to bathe and use the bathroom facilities, accompanied by these Annoying creatures. If you don’t mind, mosquitoes, the hotel is outstanding. The restaurant is excellent however we did find it to be incredibly overpriced. during our stay, we noticed that many of the guests would actually walk to the bar and restaurant next-door for food and drinks, but, if you don’t mind paying extra, and if you don’t mind, the mosquitoes, the hotel is beautiful.

We loved the Hotel. All the staff members are superb… The architecture of the Hotel is unique, the food is great, the besch is beautiful and is apart from the center of the town. We loved the Holbox experience and the Hotel was a good part of it.

The views, food, communication and service were perfect. It was a perfect place to go for a week to relax!

The most incredible stay- a completely different stay than any other. We celebrated our honeymoon here. The hotel is right on the beach, and under 5 minute cycle from centre of town. Our moon temple room was amazing and the hotel is all brand new and stunning, the upkeep is incredible. The service is even better, and every team member went out of the way to help us. Special thanks to Juan, Jorge, Lisa, Genesis, Eric & Russel, they were just the best.

Lovely resort! Staff is beyond incredible and attentive. They all get to know you by name and are eager to accommodate you in any way. The restaurant food is top notch. Our rooms were cleaned twice daily. We loved that bikes and paddle boards were also included in our stay. Overall wonderful experience.

We had a wonderful stay at Nomade! The hotel itself was beautiful, however, I was most impressed by the attentiveness and friendliness of the staff. They made our stay feel truly relaxing and took care of anything they could for us.

This place is out this world what a great experience from any point of view. The best part of this hotel is the service these people live to serve to the guest always make u feel like you are part of their families from day 1. Not saying to much there is not need to go nowhere in the island the hotel has every thing you could look for it . Food is extremely delicious rooms are too much any room you pick is great but the most important part is the stuff I will like to mention some people that make my vacation the best experience Especial thanks to Estefi Kristy Victor Ricardo Genesis Ramon….. and these are only few of the people that I could mention there the guys at the front desk which were always on top of all my need sorry for not taking their names but all I can said is that the whole stuff from this hotel are beyond any expectancy

Good for an airport stop

Perfect airport stopover, with exception to the food. Neither of us ate it was very poor Bar etc great though

We absolutely loved this place, which by far seems the best hotel on Holbox. Classes are really nice and breakfast is great. Staff and service is friendly and to notch. A really wonderful and idyllic part of the island, and a perfect hotel

El hotel es muy bonito, el staff super serviciales. Los cuartos son bonitos ; pero no muy prácticos , la parte del lavabo y el escusado están al aire libre, con el calor no te puedes ni arreglar. La cama muy cómoda, no. hay casi luz en las habitaciones, deberían de poner una luz para leer, y mas cuando no hay TV. En la noche y temprano en la mañana oyes a los taxis llegar ( mucho ruido ) Las areas publicas son agradables: tienen dos albercas muy pequeñas y el piso cuando entras super resbaloso. Dejan entrar a gente de otros hotels, lo cual no se ma hace correcto. NO HAY SOMBRILLAS una locura !! urge que pongan unas. te dan clases gratis: primero tomamos la meditación sensorial con Tere muy buena, pero no deberían dejar a empleados tomar la clase. después tomamos la de Happy Water, también muy buena. Dicen que tiene un Gerente General, lo vimos sentado en le restaurante varias veces, pero nunca se presento, nunca hablo con los clientes, se me hace increíble que en un hotel Boutique de 30 cuartos no se tome el tiempo para presentarse con su clientes y oír comentarios. En general tuvimos una estancia increíble sino fuera por los puntos mencionados arriba.

This property is beautiful, and the service was great. The staff was easy to communicate with at the 24 hour concierge desk and via WhatsApp before and during our stay. The treehouses are super cool, and the restaurant and beach front area is lovely. The restaurant is a bit on the pricier side - prices are similar to US prices, so just something to be aware of, but we enjoyed everything we had. Easy to get to from town via taxi, bikes, or walking along the beach.

es war ein hervorragender Aufenthalt im Nomade, der Moon Temple ist einfach ein Traum! Der Service war überragend, Jorge hat sich sehr bemüht uns einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt zu gestalten, er war einfach super! Das einzig negative ist, dass das Restaurant sehr teuer ist und es in der Ecke von der Insel wenige direkte Alternativen zum Essen gibt. Ansonsten waren wir rundum zufrieden und möchten in ein paar Jahren wieder kommen :-)
