Clean and very convenient location for shopping and accessing the metro. Would have liked to have meals at hotel but prices were unreasonably high. Save the food, decent value for the price.

Absolutely amazing service. Can not recommend this hotel enough. The views are also spectacular.

Overall a wonderful hotel with fantastic views of Hong Kong Island across Hong Kong Harbor. Some minor parts of the hotel could stand a little updating but a great experience.

Fantastic job. Room was clean, Standing shower plenty of hot water. Beautiful view of harbor! Staff was polite, friendly and accommodating. Best breakfast in town so many choices all good! Hotel was able to fulfill my request for early check-in and higher floor for good view, quickly responded to my requests. Great place to stay in HK!

Amazing location close to MTR station East TST, TST, and Ho Hom station. Great HK cafes across the street. The views and accessibility to the waterfront promenade are across the overpass walkway. I felt safe and loved the area! The housekeeping staff was super attentive. The only disappointment was I was charged for two coffees at the restaurant. I took it to go. Otherwise, the staff, hotel, and location were great.

Wonderful hotel!

Staff in restaurants and house keeping super friendly - management needs a lot of work they lost my laundry and despite numerous calls I was never contacted no apology just ignored. They eventually found it it was delivered to wrong room and arrived in my wardrobe with no receipt and no note to say it had been delivered - by complete chance I saw it! Housekeeping team are amazing!!

Really big rooms for HK standards. Super comfy bed and high quality towels. Robes. Great views. Convenient dining options on site and nearby. Lovely staff. Great location to travel throughout the city- 5 mins walk from nearest metro station.

The gentleman gave me both rooms at the end of Victoria harbor worst of all he gave us at third floor where there’s a lighting poll next to a building that the Hong kong island beautiful view was blocked. I thought hotel is called harbor view intercontinental. That’s why I chose this hotel.

We did a back to back double booking hence another opportunity to rave and recommend this place! My earlier review called out the key highlights, and I’d simply like to add our appreciation for the staff - accommodating to our every query and request: heater in the room, extra USB adapter, early check in etc.

This was my 4th hotel during my 10-day vacation in Hong Kong and we honestly had the best experience here. While it is a 5-10 min walk to the MTR station, being slightly removed from the hustle and bustle of Tsim Sha Tsui (TST) brought a lot more calmness to our days. It was terribly stressful and frustrating navigating TST during the Christmas period. This hotel also offers free shuttle services which was efficient and brilliant!

The Intercontinental Grand Standford is an excellent hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui. Located on Victoria Harbour, it is conveniently located within walking distance of lots of shopping, dining, and cultural activities. The staff is friendly and helpful, the room was immaculate, and the king sized bed was extremely comfortable.

This hotel is a shadow of its former self. No airport pick up and the shuttle to the airport express runs every couple of hours which is insufficient. Check in was laborious and I received no help with my bags to the reception or to my room. Being a IHG member and VIP I normally receive an upgrade but not this time and the room I got had a view of a moldy wall with paint flaking off. The excellent lunch and dinner buffets no long occur and the hotels interior is falling apart up on the floors. The air conditioner was so loud I had to put ear plugs in to sleep and there was a humming noise in the room that I couldn't find or turn off. Now a 4 star hotel at best and lucky to even hold that rating

Good hotel, though a bit outdated, the overall condition and confirm level is fine, various food, coffee, and bar around. I strongly recommend.

Best location for tourist

Most of the staff were very good but we did have a bit of an issue because they couldnt speak English. The property was clean. It has had some renovation but does look a little dated in parts. Good location. Reasonably close to the ferrys and shopping locations. Great buffet every morning. We had some issues with faulty items. The safe wouldnt always open and was flashing battery issues. We had a flickering light in the bathroom. The scales didnt work.

It’s clean, hotel smell great, breakfast buffet has lots of variety and selection, the only lacking was the tv programme, it was so boring. would be great if it has Netflix, Chinese/korean Tv series, hair dryer in room no 715 need to be replaced with powerful one. It is too outdated. Hotel location is great. Only 20 min walk to Harbour city. Walk distance to MTR station. Will come back again next time.

Stayed here for 4 nights. Staff were friendly and helpful, and you have a 24/7 service from your room, whatever you need. If you stay, book a harbour view room. It’s worth it! The views are amazing. There’s an MTR station not far up the road, but getting Ubers and taxis from the hotel is never a problem. Hotel was always clean and welcoming.

Older but a nice hotel in a good location

Was a nice hotel in a good location. It would have been quite a luxury hotel back in its heydays but now it is getting a little older. Still a nice hotel though, had a harbour view room so the view of Victoria Harbour was great.

The hotel is on the older side. It would benefit from cosmetic renovation. The location is convenient. The food at breakfast was subpar sadly. The xiao mai for instance tasted like poor quality premade frozen type. The xia jiao similarly bad and has a powdery skin. I decided to skip breakfast after giving it two attempts.

Beautiful hotel, excellent restaurants, well-situated. The only negative is that the air conditioning was set too high, and we were freezing in restaurants, halls, our room, etc. Other than that, a fantastic stay!

Great place to stay. Great location. Breakfast was fantastic. We bought the breakfast with the room and so glad we did. Very convenient. We would definitely stay here again. We thought is was very reasonable in price.

Requested the harbour view and it was beautiful. Nice breakfast selection and service staffs are polite. Fantastic location.

Very spacious room compare to hotels at the Hong Kong Island area (Stayed at IHG in the first week and moved to hotels at causeway Bay Area for convenience of work; immediately felt the difference of the room size for the same price point). Location is perfect (a few minutes walk to train station, close to all the major shopping centers and restaurants at the Kowloon side, but very quiet surrounding the hotel). I enjoy walking around the hotel area through out the day especially in the morning along the victory harbor. Very clean both the room and common areas. One thing I would like to see the hotel to improve is to update the traditional toilet to a more comfortable smart bidet toilet. Will surely stay there again and recommend for friends.

My first choice for business stays in HKG

Quite a Nice Hotel

It’s a nice hotel. I do like the InterContinental chain. I noticed it had the typical Ferrari and Lamborghini parked outside, along with the occasional Bentley in the evenings. Some say it’s a little bit out of the way, especially if you’re visiting Hong Kong Island; but you only have to walk round the corner to get to the overhead walkway to Hung Hom station (about 10 mins walk). From there, you can take a train to the Island or airport.

Disappointed not a five star hotel

Very tired hotel. Not really a five star!!! Waited for more than one hour to check in. Overall rooms very old and bedding very poor. The view is not as nice as the other hotels further down like the Regent we stayed in.

I always stay in this area for it’s convenience between two main MTR stations a open space. It’s has plenty of amenities without the bustle of tst.

Good Option for Hong Kong

Stayed in a Club Room which was spacious and comfortable. The Club lounge was big, had great breakfast and evening snacks and good quality wines in the evening.

Dissapointing

Hotel was dissapointing. Booked a room with an Ocean View, but had an overpass in front which was noisy. Hotel is tired and in need of a refurb. The hotel is OK for a short stay in Hong Kong, but there are better options in Kowloon for the money.

A room with a view. WALL

I booked a room on a high floor and I got a room with a view of a WALL. Not very nice.

Always nice and great staying at this property in Tsim Sha Tsui in HKg. Mody road is close to the metro lines.

Does not live up to the InterContinental Brand

Define what you are looking for before considering the InterContinental Stanford Hong Kong. For me, it did not live up to the standard of the InterContinental Brand, especially being their Diamond Elite Member. Pros: - decent sized rooms for hong kong - relatively recent renovations - close to tsim she tsui east amenities - byredo amenities - pool is nice Cons: - 10-15 minute walk to any MTR subway station, kind of far - rooms were not as clean to an InterContinental standard - even though DND sign was on, they kept mixing up the rooms and kept calling and knocking on my door; even though I did not ask for anything - I did not feel special at all as a Diamond Elite member; I understand I booked through a 3rd party and had no benefits, but their check-in/out service could be more courteous - gym equipment was broken; the rowing machine display did not work - gym was quite small - hair dryer was weak and dirty - electrical outlet in bathroom didn’t work Conclusion: If you need to be in that specific area of Tsim She Tsui East, it maybe the better of the hotels. Otherwise, I would not recommend staying here. I did not feel overly welcomed; the rooms were dirtier than I hoped; I was disturbed numerous times while the DND sign was on.

Highly recommend if you looking for hotel in HK.
