Very clean loved it
Very nice hotel. Ample charging ports, placed conveniently for all your devices. Room was clean. Breakfast was $30/pp. Standard continental breakfast but you can have an omelet made to order if you don't want the powdered eggs stuff. Food in the sternals were a bit cold but there was a nice spread to choose from. Staff was excellent! from the front desk to the cleaning ladies, all very pleasant and very accommodating. Bathroom was a nice size and clean. No microwave. My biggest disappointment was the mattress. Very, very Firm. I kept having to switch sides because I would start to feel numb if I stayed on one side too long. Needless to say, i didn't get the much needed rest i was hoping for but it was a decent stay.
There was sn evacuation 4/20/25 at 1:25am which is great to orotect guests. There was no information shared and the staff showed no concetn or interest. We checked out at 5 am and greeted your desk attendant who fid not even raise his head from his phone. I tossed the keys on the counter and walked towards the door. The lobby was left a dirty mess from the evacuation. There was sufficient time to clean it up. My TV lost signal twice in the 4 day stay and the bath fixtures did not work properly. Not our best experience at this location during this stay
outdated, ac was not cold 70 degrees in room all night, no tv channels. shower was poor
Great hotel
Cleanliness.
Great staff and cleanliness of room
Will come again
Great experience with great service.
Very clean hotel
The showers take a while to get warm. Never got very hot. Also, the shower head made the shower feel more like a beach rinse off than an actual shower. Other than that this was a very nice hotel.
Great experience
I normally stay here whenever I am in need of a hotel in this area. Normally, I can give it five stars this specific time I was not impressed at all. The pool did not open the whole time I was there because it was closed for maintenance . There were people fighting in the hallway on my floor at 4 AM… They were doing maintenance on my floor the last day and they told me I would have to move to another floor ….that was such an inconvenience. I packed my things to move to another floor, they told me that the maintenance was postponed so I had to unpack again. It was just a horrible stay this time.
Attentive & personable staff. Spotless room, bathroom, linens & towels.Comfortable bed and pillows. Indoor pool area very nice.
This hotel was wonderful I will be staying again soon
I was put in a handicap accessible room which I did not request. Toilet
5 stars
Amazing
Great stay.
It
Room needs to be updated. Carpet is old and very worn, wall was dirty, tv had limited channels and not a clear picture.
The reserved room we booked was unavailable. The hotel promised a refund on the room we booked and then lied about what they said the next day. Very unprofessional - will not stay at a Hyatt again.
Excellent stay, my second stay in 11 months
It was great
The place is clean and pretty well maintained; beds are comfortable,, towels fluffy and the restaurant is fairly decent. Room furnishings are starting to get a bit sad with nicks and stains.
Friendly staff and comfortable rooms
They were doing construction outside my room for 2 days straight, very early in the morning, wires hanging everywhere sheet rock all over, I took several pictures of it
Elevator was broken
Great stay
Never in 45 years have I been to a hotel where you can’t get coffee if you are an early riser.
Ive stayed here several times for years. And quality has gone down i was on 10th floor the elevator didnt work . We pressed button and it never came. Had to go into employee area to take there elevator. Couldnt use the regular elevator to go up or down. Was in and out so it was very inconvenient. They need to take some of the money and renovate and revamp. Prob wont stay there again . Only great thing is there pool and downstairs where theybhave all the meeting rooms but since 10 plus years ago the place has gone down considerably
Stayed there for a wedding. Very nice hotel. Just needs some upgrade with some amenities like cable/tv in the room.
The view and the hospitality.
Lobby and bar area.
Great stay
Room had non working heating but I was moved to another within an hour. Expensive for Long Island. Very clean. Unobtrusive staff. Heating unit was noisy but I think that’s a US typical. No microwave. Coffee machine OK but the water coming out if it had strong chlorine taste. Great Long Island view from top floors
Beds was very comfortable
Run down, marijuana came through vents where my children were sleeping. Drafty. Pool area cold. Staff member knocked on door at 7:30a to clean, woke my children up. Check-out was 11.
Stay was excellent.
The customer service rep at the front office were fabulous
Perfect stay
Perfect room. Nice and new and clean and comfortable. The pool was great too!
Amazing hotel. Beautiful building, outdoor space, and location. The staff was polite and professional.
Staff very helpful
Love this
Good minus the water in fridge not being included and got charged at the end
Very good
Horrible hotel
This was a wedding night and booked a king size bed The hotel gave it away and gave us 2 double Beds So mad can't even contain my anger
We asked for replacement of towels and to service the room if it is possible as we were heading out around 1:30pm. Came back to the room around 7:30pm ish, nothing was done. Called for the towels again. Had to call for the towels for third time around 9pm. At 9:45pm, husband had to go down to the front desk to get two they have. The hotel seems to be quite busy which I can understand for cleaning the room. But we should not have to chase for towels for 4 times and no one can service in 8 hours is unacceptable.
Nice hotel but the restaurant is a little pricey and the elevator two of them was out of service only one was working
Good location
There was a pageant going on so there were kids and drunk moms running around until 4am. The building has seen better days, quite dated. I was traveling for work so I ate at the hotel restaurant. Very good food but I wouldn't have eaten there on my own dime. VERY expensive for what you get.
Not worth it
Do you have to play that bad music so loudly all through the lobby? In the restaurant, I had a TV blaring on my left and that awful music all over. I had to ask the server to turn the sound off on the TV, as the clash was awful. I had a Cobb salad in the restaurant. A true Cobb salad has a variety of sliced meats and cheese. The server asked if I would like to add a "protein," and I was surprised, as a Cobb salad should come with plenty of proteins, as mentioned above. But I said yes, chicken, and what I got was an iceberg lettuce salad with some small cheese and ham cheeses--and 6 pieces of chicken, for which I was charged an additional $11. So, after tax and tip, my one salad, which I had with water only, cost me $50.
Excellent, amazing and affordable. Love it
.
Great
Very nice esthetic. No smart TV.
The service was great. Unfortunately there was an incident where a guest was drunk or on drugs and was screaming in the hallways at 2:30 in the morning. Hotel staff had to call the police and have him removed. Thats not the hotels fault but it wasnt a pleasant experience. My biggest complaint with this hotel is that my room did not have a smart TV and I couldnt stream any apps. That was a major disappointment for a 4 star hotel to still have such dated TVs. Basic cable channels only. Buffet style breakfast was good. Its not included and costs 28 per person.
Very aged building showing it's age. Leak in hall ceiling, carpet wet, musty smells, bucket was overflowing had to address it to a staff member.sandwichbat Nu advertise pickles , should be specific as it was sweet pickles in a sandwich with sauerkraut, totally ruined the flavor. Burger had one temp was told would be medium well to well, came out pink. All surface areas were dusty. Elevator mirrors smudges the entire 3 nights. One elevator was broken for a bit but otherwise very very slow. Breakfast buffet was just ok. For 28 dollars I expected more options. Overall just eh experience. We have stayed here before around 10 years ago and had a lovely experience, this was sun par
Let me start by saying the front desk, Elizabeth was absolutely fantastic! She went out her way for anything that we needed for the wedding , I was attending . I can not express my gratitude towards her . She made our stay so incredibly special and making us feel so welcomed. She deserves to be celebrated for all she does . I watched her with other guest and she treated each one with respect and kindness that she had expressed . I again would like to say Thank you to her she was off the day we left .
Great stay.
Friendly
Loved my stay! The staff is friendly, food at the breakfast buffet was delicious with a good variety of hot and cold cold food. The hotel rooms are beautiful, spacious and beds are very comfortable. Perfect stay for business or pleasure. High class and highly recommend!
The elevators were sometimes not working at all, and we had to use the stairs… we were on the ninth floor!
The elevators were not operational and guests were told to use the service elevator, of which only one was working. One of the beds in our room was tilting to the right and I felt I was going to fall out of the bed all night. The building is not accessible; the revolving door should be automatic or the double doors should have an accessible door opener. One of the most horrible hotel experiences I've had at this price level.
It was an older hotel but well maintained
Reception was great. Lounge areas were clean and comfortable
Hotel is in need of an all over refreshing. Furniture, carpets, bathrooms all showing their age. On a positive note, cocktails and food were excellent!
Great friendly front desk staff. Clean and cozy rooms .
She's beginning to feel a bit old and worn....
The hotel is really showing it's age. Great central location off of the LIE in Hauppauge. The A/C in room 442 rattled and was noisy. The window had fogging between the panes and was too cloudy to really see out of. The window had black mold all over the sash and frames. The tub faucet was leaky and dripped. The bed was extremely comfortable and the rug was new. The elevators were extremely slow during my stay. Staff was pleasant. This hotel hosts a lot of weddings and large gatherings but seemed mostly to have holiday visitors during my recent visit. Not sure if I would stay here again.
The staff are pleasant and accommodating.
Elevator issues
I stayed for 3 days in October 2024 and they had elevator issues where all 3 elevators were not working. We had to use the service elevator or walk down the stairs. I just returned a few days ago and was very disappointed to learn that 2 of the 3 elevators were not working. The working elevator took at least 5 minutes to arrive and it would be full. We would have to wait longer or go to the service elevator and cross our fingers hoping it wasn’t full as well. I’m staying at a Hyatt Regency and expect better.
Feels like a small town area for being located in a great central area to so many busy areas we needed to go to for the holiday. Our room was very clean (thank you, Veronica!). Pool & gym are nice. Restaurant had good options, we enjoyed the blackened chicken “BLAT”. It’s a large property that feels safe. I truly relaxed here and needed it. We also went to the Christmas breakfast they held which was really cute with good options.

Great, easy and relaxing stay
We were in town briefly to attend a family function. The staff were helpful and competent. Our room itself was comfortable and clean - the pillows could probably use some refreshing as they all seemed like the life had been squished out of them already. Check-in/out was quick and easy; the bar area was nice and the staff there were lovely. Didn't get to check out other amenities like pool or fitness area.
We used them for 2 leadership weeks this year. The events and accommodations are always on point.
A hotel not a resort
Good price for a Hyatt. Hotel a bit outdated and off the beaten path. Close to highway. Elevators need to be modernize. Average stay
.
It enough dining options and times. Elevator takes too long and no security
Very good but not great
Overall, the hotel was very good. The main entrance area was very nice. However, the rooms are a little dated, and the elevators were very slow. Also, the bathrooms were small The gym was good for a workout, and there was also an indoor pool
Very slow elevator
Good location, room just ok, elevator bank of 3 cars , only one operating, waited over 10 minutes to leave , first two cars (after wait of 2 min) were full, so took elevator up, to go down eventually. Breakfast good but over priced at $28+tax pp. wanted toast with eggs - only 1 ,2 slice toaster and 3 people wanted to use, so no toast for me, dinning room staff, helpful and friendly though. Hotel showing age a little, worn rugs, wallpaper. Very noisy heat fan in room, going on and off, sound equal to what a window a/c would make - bed comfortable, tv very good- no pitchers of water in lobby - so overall poor to just ok due to inconveniences - don’t need a hotel in this location very often but not likely to come back
Check in staff was horrible. Will never stay at a Hyatt again.
Surprise guest on our room
When we went to our room and as we were unpacking our door opened. A lady and her teenage daughter stepped in. They were given the same room as ours. Room 749. We were SHOCKED! to say the least. Thankfully we were dressed and not in the bathroom. This made our evening very uncomfortable and uneasy to have a restful sleep or evening. Then when we left the room and returned our keys didnt work. We had to go back to the front desk for our keys to be reprogrammed. These situations were definitely not acceptable in any hotel and unexpected in the Hyatt Regency. We should've asked for a refund. Thank God we only stayed one night!
Waste of money
Elevators were slow with long lines. Not enough elevators for a hotel of that size. Size/cleanliness of room should be much better when paying $300 a night. My stay at this Hyatt is why I will never again make a reservation at a °Hyatt hotel.
Too expensive for the lack of quality
while the property was clean there were multiple issues with wall damage around the room and property. Room service never picked up the phone despite having been open for over an hour. Staff was nice. Beds were rock hard.
Great
It was clean and the staff were friendly. It was convenient for the convention we attended.
Good
I didn’t like that there wasn’t a microwave in the room. The shower kept dripping even after it was turned off. It’s inconvenient to have the landline on the desk instead of the nightstand. The elevators are in a weird location😊 Other than that everything was great.
This hotel was nice at one point in it's history. It is old and needs better maintenance. Elevators look abused. Room furniture is old and worn and furniture is stained. Staff was pleasant.
Nice clean and comfortable
Hotel is a little dated but is super clean, new fresh linens and friendly helpful staff. There were four weddings going on this weekend here but we didn’t experience any noise or loud guests in the halls despite being one room away from the elevators. Overall we were pleasantly surprised. If this hotel updates their signage’s and makes a few adjustments it would be perfect.
Needs new carpeting in room and elevators dont work properly
Highly Recommend
This is my second stay in the past two months. This is a great well cared for hotel with friendly staff. The only downside is the elevators. They are slow even during hours when they are not under heavy use.
Nice and quiet place
N/A
located across the street from an active construction site
1 elevator working for the entire hotel. The wait times were ridiculous. Had to carry all of our luggage down four flights after 3 full elevators.
Very quiet hotel

It was very nice.
