Really top notch place and close to everything

The room was in great condition and there was nothing wrong or any crumbs anywhere in the room. I will say getting drinks at the bar, they were heavily poured meaning there was a lot of alcohol and not a lot of chasers. But overall great experience

We likes the ease of checking in. Our shower is the biggest complaint. We are 6’ and found the shower completely unusable with terrible water pressure. Also I did not have a vanity but a small sink which made applying makeup difficult

The staff at the front desk was absolutely amazing 5 star service. I had some issues with my booking through Expedia and they were diligent on getting the situation taken care of in a critical manner

We were there for a volleyball tournament and everything was perfect the staff was super nice and helpful I do wish they offered a breakfast that’s included with the stay but honestly for the level of comfort and service all the staff offers is above and beyond. I definitely would recommend.

We chose this hotel because it was close to the Nationwide Arena and it was less expensive than the two surrounding hotels. However, parking a block over and walking through the tunnels was very inconvenient and time consuming. Also, we called down to the front desk 30 minutes before check out for a luggage rack to be brought up. No one came. Called again 10 minutes before check out. And still no one. So my daughter and I dragged all out luggage down from the 20th floor ourselves. When we got down to the lobby, the luggage carriers were all there waiting for work to do and no one knew we called down. It was very frustrating and caused us to not only be late for check out but also forced us to leave the hotel 45 minutes later than we wanted to.

I asked for a quiet room and they delivered... I slept like a baby. Front desk staff was amazing and polite.

The elevators took an extremely long time, and many people chose to use the stairs instead. The bed and sheets were not comfortable. The shower door leaked badly and created a large puddle on the floor.

Clean and comfortable

The lobby is nice. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was really soft and comfortable. The elevators had long lines at times and took long to arrive but it could have been because the hotel was filled with cheerleaders for a cheerleader competition that was in town. The front desk staff was nice and friendly.

Poor service

Stay was fine when we came down to pick up our valet and I tipped them $25 the day we came in it took 45 min to retrieve the car and people in behind us were helped much sooner. When we got the vehicle it had been smoked in…….

There are four elevators for the hotel rooms. There was only one or two of them that were working. The hotel staff didn’t address this problem after advised by guests. This was the only negative I can say about the visit.

For a higher end downtown Hotel the wifi is absolutely horrible. No option to pay for higher speeds.

I liked how we could walk through our hotel & end up at the one place where we volleyball parents all needed to be at. It was nice not having to worry about anything else other than watching my daughter play!

The best stay I could have chosen from check-in to check-out! I definitely recommend it.

Great location to Nationwide Arena. Loved the skyway from parking garage. Made transition to vehicle much easier. Only drawback was long lines to use elevators after the event. Overall nice place to stay.

This property is great and the convenience of the connection to the conference center is priceless. We were in room 1812, which was fantastic from a few standpoint but it is right next to a staff only room and it sounded like garbage cans were being brought in all night and all morning. You could also hear some tires screeching during the night and police cars around 5am. If we went back I would definitely try to avoid that specific room. Other than that, the hotel was great, the service was attentive and we enjoyed the breakfast buffet.

Great for concerts

My sister and I stayed here for a concert at Nationwide. We have been to a ton of concerts and always wanted to stay somewhere within walking distance to the arena. This was the perfect spot! We parked ourselves in the garage that is connected and then took the elevator into the lobby. It was so quick and easy. Check-in was fast and the people working at reception were pleasant, friendly, and kind. The rooms were clean and updated and I would stay here again.

Staff needs to seem like they care

The front entry had a lot of trash laying around and one of the many people working cold have kept it much cleaner. We used valet for the car and no one asked to help with our bags. Front desk took about 15 seconds to check us in with no eye contact or friendly greeting. I've stayed at many Hyatts over the world and this one was not up to par.

I always stay here when I go to see TSO in Columbus. It is very convenient to the arena and the nicest place to stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful, which is a bonus when I travel alone. I recommend this hotel as the best place I have had the pleasure to stay in.

Very nice property. Close to everything. Super friendly staff.

The staff was great, rooms were nothing special but clean. The parking garage is about a 1/3 mile away and through a maze of sky bridges. At night, it’s sketchy with no visible security. The hallways and sky bridges stink and there was feces in one. There is another hotel that shared the garage access, I’d steer clear of that one too. The garage is complicated to get to. Several guests took wrong turns and wound up on the street with no idea how to get to their vehicle.

I loved how the hotel had a connection to the convention center and we did not have to walk outside in the rain and cold. Bar was excellent and the room was nice.

Loved our stay! We always stay here when we visit Columbus! The restaurant had excellent breakfast and the staff was so kind. Centrally located. It’s perfect!

The front desk is phenomenal. They represent a gold standard in customer service. The folks who work in the Market Cafe are also terrific, very professional and the buffet was great, along with the service. It's very hard to get a taxi here, however and that's problematic.

We loved our room! It was located at the end of a hallway and was uniquely shaped with lots of windows that had incredible views. The room was clean and quiet, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom had plenty of towels and hot water. What more do you need?

Everything was very nice, the staff made a mistake and charged two different cards of mine for the stay and it really put a strain on my finances for the night, after mistake was made the staff was very helpful but unfortunately there wasn’t much they can do at the moment but I will come back

Spacious clean updated room

The Hyatt Regency is a nice hotel in what appears to be a safe neighborhood. We did not worry about walking around the hotel and to the arena. The walk to the parking lot is long and could be cumbersome for someone with lung problems or walking issues.

Honestly, this was the BEST stay I have had a hotel in many years. I was in town for 3-days at a conference. Every single staff member were amazing

Excellent, clean and comfortable room. Location to Nationwide Arena within 2 blocks. We chose this property for a concert at the arena. Close enough for me to walk being just 6 weeks post op for total knee replacement. Also 1st time I've ever used valet parking. Would stay again.

I spent a lot for this hotel for my 3 days in Columbus, Oh...the bar they have, it's barely open. I wanted to do laundry, and they said they don't have laundry services on the weekend! Like seriously?! I do have to say that the staff there were completely amazing!
