Great hotel walking distance to Hongqiao train station. Great rooms, clean new and large. The breakfast is amazing and staff first rate. I have stayed Hyatts all over the world this is an unexpected gem

I would have given this property 5 stars however I was placed in a room below the gym and everytime someone was on the treadmill it would shake my room.

Convenient for business and leisure. Major trade exhibit , Hongqiao train, metro station nearby. Plus Hongqiao Airport just 1 stop after Hongqiao Train Station line 2. Best use taxi or van if traveling with 4 persons with baggages. Food and mall nearby. Strategic metro line 2 also lead to Pudong International Airport using metro.

Walking distance 15 minutes to hispeed trains and metro Line 12, 17 at Shanghai Hongqiao Station underneath . Across concierge desk, there is swing door to escalator leading to underground complex of shops, food hall, mall , convenience stores. Follow signs to lead to Hongqiao Station. Rooms are big, mattresses comfy , clean, toilet though should have bidet.

Room is clean and nice. Also the place is convenient.

Good hotel for experienced traveller

Excellent except our room too hot. Hotel HVAC not room specific. Management aware but unable to correct. At least they comped us breakfast! Hotel very clean. Good exercise room. Breakfast excellent. Hotel away from downtown. Ok for us as we rode metro. Very convenient. But if you want to be near action this is NOT your place. Probably not a good place for average tourist in Shanghai. But for people who know Shanghai or have business a perfect spot.

Great location. This property is walking distance to the main transportation hub of Shanghai. Rooms are clean and include small kitchen. Staff are very helpful and friendly. And the price is reasonable. Should be a favorite for anybody traveling to Shanghai

Very new and clean hotel, however was disappointed with a very slow check in process, whereby several people lining up switched lines/pushed in whereas the Hyatt staff did not do anything to prevent or discourage this.

Great location if you will take train from Hongqiao station. It would be great to have a map from the hotel on how to get there walking. The staff could be a little more helpful informing on the facilities available at property, restaurant hours, etc. I struggle with the air conditioning, my room was never fresh enough even at lower temperature.

The location is really close to the hongqiao train station and easy access to shopping mall and restaurants which is very nice. But the hotel facilities and service just ok, not bad but not good ether, i would not consider go back again.

Hayat place is an excellent choice due to its cleanliness, great breakfast, location and top of all friendly & cooperative staff. Hotel is easily walkable from Airport and Railway station in an underground path, From exit of metro line 2/10, just follow Hongqiao CBD (Area C), you can exit in The Hub Mall, and Hotel is adjacent to the Mall. The same underground path followed by a flyover walking bridge can take you to NECC (beautiful view), or take a Line 2 metro to East Huijing for NECC (1 station from Hayat place). Walkable from the metro station, railway station and airport in the underground path, which leads straight to the mall adjacent to the hotel. Instead of The Hub Mall, one exit from P10 parking lot after crossing the parking lot and taking stairs up, just next to the hotel

The room is spacious and clean. The staff is also very friendly. Will come back again!

This is a very nice property that is in easy walking distance to the Hongqiao Airport and Train Station. The breakfast was very good as well.

3rd Visit 1. Hair found in the shower... 2. Missing mid sized towels 3. Missing bathroom essentials and was not reminded during check in. Now have to back down to pick them up...

Other than the carpets in the room showing its age and dirt that could not be cleaned, everything else we liked about the hotel. Staff were great esp. the concierge and bell people. Breakfasts were fine though not the best we've had in China. Great location within walking distance to mall next door and 10-15 min. to Hongqiao rail and subway station. I give it very close to 5 stars and hope the room carpets would be replaced or turned to LVT

Everything is great, like the walking distance to the metro and Hongqiao railway station, and to Hongqiao Tiandi, except the staff at the swimming pool. A few grumpy men shouted at and browbeat me to buying a swimming cap before I could jump into the water. Other staff are all very nice. The swimming pool people probably never worry about losing their jobs, and actually they should have.

Close to the airport and rail station. However the carpet is stained and the room condition is below four stars. Maybe the location justifies the rating.

Very good place.

The staff there are most friendly, especially Gary Xu. I had trouble charging my phone and he helped me sort out the issue. This saves my travel as it's extremely difficult to travel in China without phone. All transportation is done with apps on phone. One thing I felt disappointed was that their pool is supposed to open until 10 pm. But when I went there at 9:30 pm, I was not allowed entering because they are doing routine cleaning. If the routine cleaning has to be started half an hour earlier and guests are not allowed using the pool, then it would be better to tell guest to come before 9:30 pm not 10 pm. This is not expected for a Hyatt brand hotel.

Close to Hongqiao Train Station and Hongqiao Airport. The Hongqiao Xintiandi shopping area is just a block away.

Good value fir money

The hotel itself is quite nice. Room is spacious and clean with a huge TV. Service at the front desk and housekeeping are both good. But the strength of the shower is appalling, especially at night which I can only describe as dripping strength. The location is very far off from the city centre unless your activity area is near Hongqiao.

A must at Hongqiao

Great location near to Hongqiao station (but it's a very difficult station to negotiate - get clear instructions on getting to the hotel). Great room for the money and a super breakfast - lots of Chinese food but enough western to keep you going.

TV connection was poor, apart from that everything was fine

The staffs were very welcoming.Close to shops and restaurants and Train Station. The hotel even has a laundromat facility . the only downfall was that is was an hour away by train to get to Shanghai CBD. The hotel itself was nice and all staffs were very friendly and professional.

NOT WALKING DISTANCE TO NECC

Hotel was stellar in terms of room, lobby, breakfast, however only reason I stayed here is that I was told its walking distance to NECC. It's definitely not and more like 2 miles with multiple pedestrian bridges you need to climb upand down. Fortunately they offer a shuttle bus in the morning but impossible to find the bus at end of the day so had to haul a bootleg cab for 100rmb.

Very nice property which is very close to the Hongqiao Railway and Metro. It was a little difficult for our Taxi driver to find, so be prepared to call the hotel for them to give directions to your driver. (Note: Google Maps is way off on the location).

One of the best appointed rooms I've stayed at, for a great price too, all very conveniently located if you happen to be flying in / out of or taking the train in / out of Shanghai Hongqiao.

Stay in Hyatt place

Located in an area with many facilities nearby: airport, train station, subway stop, mall, restaurants. It is a great choice for connecting point in the trip and can walk from the train station to the hotel even though no good direction was provided. Breakfast starts at 6 am which is another big plus

Modern hotel close to Hongqiao

Hotel is modern and clean. Shuttle bus runs every hour to Hongqiao station and airport. Will stay again.

nice comfortable hotel but not a great location

hotel in general is nice and close to high speed train, airport, and exhibition center. However, if you're visiting Shanghai for leisure dont come to this area it's very inconvenient and takes forever to get anywhere.

Voice

Everything was good but they had strange voice coming from other room of flixing some thing. I was living in suite and this was really unlikely situation. They even spent put fruit basket on checkup.

The location is not as indicated on the EXPEDIA-google map. Had hard time finding, even with help from taxi. Staff provided little assistance on directions to metro when I left. Hard to find from shuttle drop off point.

All very good with excellent breakfast and luxury bedding etc, but I was so surprised to see notes on the booking that the hotel check in desk closes after hours and you can not check in until 6 am next day. My connecting flight was cancelled due to technical fault and I was just lucky to get another flight so that I reached the hotel before midnight. But it was big panic. How come such a 5 star international hotel can not employ just one person to check late comers? Also so shame that the hotel has no room service at all for ordering food etc. Everything else was great.
