Nice location, quite
Good
The room rate and its quality of of this hotel are OK
I only stayed for one night 8:30pm to 9:00am.
It just felt gross. Very unkept and very expensive when I stayed there. Slept in my clothes as it just seemed dirty.
Everything Ok
It was ok, needs some upgrades
Customer service
The property is in a great are in Mt.View. Castro street is close, and the staff is excellent!!
Perfect
In n Out across the street was nice but the kind of guests that are there were questionable.
Breakfast needs to improve it.
Nice in cozy places to stay 100 percent recommended
Over nighter
Great stay
It was mice and clean hoter
Very comfortable
Great
Nice hotel to stay with reasonable price. I would recommend it.
The receptionist was nice but hope they can be more helpful when gave me the room. I was there when they have construction and I was supposed to have a virtual meeting, I asked for a quiet room they told me the room I was staying would not be affected but it was loud both days and the construction is literally the room next door.
Really nice area and beautiful view to the mountains
Not a nice place
Photos here are misleading. My room was old and not well kept. Many fixtures were damaged and the room smelled funny. Shower didn’t drain properly. Everything felt a little grimy. Noisy neighbors and El Camino right outside window. I was concerned enough about cleanliness that on my way out I stopped at a laundromat and washed/dried everything I had with me at high heat… The Hotels.com says room comes with a “free drink.” They didn’t offer this when I checked in, and as I headed out they offered me a bottled water or soda out of a mini fridge behind the desk (don’t expect a bar!). Breakfast was a few bagels and bread, and a freezer with some microwaveable items. Coffee was ok.
Very comfortable room
Great stay
Great customer service. Front desk person was awesome. I forgot his name.
Stayed again here and again a very friendly staff and for the price you can’t beat this hotel
Perfect place to put your head down
Nice Clean Boutique Hotel
Staff was great and very helpful, I also like that if you stay there and have a room they have complementary ev charging which was nice. For the price and service I would give them 5 out 5!!!
We stayed 2 night and first nights around 3:30 am upstairs made many noise we can heard the people walking and next day we went to San Francisco and back to sleep at 9 pm but nobody cleaning the room or changed the towels at all and my room tv not working.
Good
The location of the property is prime. Close to stores/shopping/mainroads. The hotel itself is very nicely maintained and reasonably priced. The room was neat, clean, quiet, well appointed and comfortable. The hotel staff was very courteous. The breakfast served was complimentary and convenient. The front desk staff (Oscar, Miguel, etc) were very courteous, attentive and helpful. Overall I had a very positive and comfortable stay and will consider returning back for future stays especially long term stays.
Excellent
Thank you
Only if you don’t care.
Very run down and in need of repairs. Stains, holes in curtain, broken furniture, people working on cars in the parking lot, trash left in the hall for the entire stay and so much more.
Love it staff very friendly and the environment was very clean..
The staff was very nice and friendly, and the place was clean and smells nice
Yuck, just yuck

Hidden Gem
Highly recommend! The staff and customer service is excellent.
Lovely hotel. The staff is excellent. Highly recommend
Alright, little worn, questionable 'view'
I'm not certain why it is called 'Hotel Vue.' It is certainly not because it is easy to see at night (it is definitely not), nor because of a scenic view from the small balcony, which (for me) overlooked the parking lot. I am hoping it is not because anyone/everyone outside (in said parking lot) had a full view of me naked inside my room. The only curtains that cover the whole balcony window are sheer; with the light on, at night, inside the room, I am fairly sure people could see right thru them. The hotel is a little worn around the edges, but that was ok. Except for the bathroom, which had visible mildew stains in grout & caulking. The breakfast was good; the staff was friendly & helpful. Very strange was how poor the signage & lighting is out front. The hotel name is not apparent at all on the building--the building's exterior lighting, front & center (where a hotel name would normally be found), is quite dim or just absent. There is one Hotel Vue sign by the street; however, the sign is mono-chromatic--not lit-- & is almost invisible in the dark. If you don't know that the hotel is right past the big Tire place on the corner (which has a great beacon of a sign), then you're likely to drive right by this place several times....like I did.
really great hotel, the staff is really nice, the room is what you see in the pictures and also the breakfast was super convenient. I will be back if I visit Mountain View again.
Good stay
Nice property and staff.
The gym equipment was non-functional. (Stationary Bike)
This place should have been named boutique motel. Room smells and has chipped furniture. I really wanted to turn around upon arrival, place is a dump. Tne only reason I stayed because of the cancellation penalty.
Nice stay
Stay was nice n quiet
Great option if you need a reasonably priced room in the area.
Good, Clean but noisy
Overall this hotel is a good value. It was clean but it is a little noisy. Walls seem to be paper thin, so you will hear next door TV very clearly.
Staff is great! Pictures do not match reality. If you stay here, bring slippers/shower shoes. The carpet, curtains, furniture is all really old and dam, plus heavily stained. All of the furniture was sticky, dented, chips falling off, otherwise dirty and uncomfortable. The bed linens did seem to be clean, but one of the bath towels was not so I just used one I trusted for the duration of my stay. Generally safe, but very noisy and could hear every footstep and bathroom break from upstairs.
Not what expected from hotel listing was TERRIBLE
Upon arrival the area is very sketchy, staff not pleasant but no worries. Entered the room it was dated, smell coming from bathroom which is run-down/old & dirty. Blood was on the curtains, carpet by curtains, carpet dirty and was visible with stains & blood. Bedding was dingy & had some stains. My dad/mom Went downstairs asking for another room due to issues they said they could not move me to another room due to I paid for that room & moving me would cost more. My parents said okay let's move her & we will pay then they said they had no rooms. I just had surgery that is why I was staying there to be close to hospital for emergency. My parents tried to work with them but no change so my mom looked up hotels & found one we moved the next day but did try to leave the same day but nothing available around area. We/I did not want to ask hotels.com for reimbursement just wanted out. My parents love hotels.com but staying on the phone waiting & waiting for responses is hard when you have a kid in pain as well as hotels.com tried to contact Hotel Vue but did not have any luck. I would not recommend this hotel at all. This is the first time with an issue with hotel thru Hotels.com. The photos you see on their listing is nothing like in person. Very dated, dirty, smelly dated bathroom and sketchy area. It was like a switch and bait. We were very surprised.
Great hotel, with minimal parking.
When 3 stars are fine
Good enough location. Place seemed a little run down. Some areas/surfaces weren’t super clean.
They should double check the TV and coffee maker is working before guess arrives. Be sure front desk is more friendly..
Easy check-in very friendly staff and knowledgeable took care of all my needs room was clean
Too noisy
It was very nice
Thanks
Nice plaxe
Staff was prompt to clean up when someone spilled his coffee. Enjoyed the breakfast.
Was great
It was an amazing experience for my family, and I. We will definitely book this hotel again.
Limited parking and unfortunately we had a weird room that i would not call a standard hotel room . Hotel is a lot worse than on pictures and we did not get upgrades. hotel did explain they were full and appologised.
Good
Front desk staff was friendly. Sometimes on floor communication was hard. I had asked for an accessible room. The tub had one bar on the far wall with no bar on either entry wall. Made it a bit hard to move in and out. Bed was very comfortable. Large room size.
Honestly, though the staff was friendly and the room rates low, I felt like the bed, shower, and room were pretty uncomfortable and dated. Shower and toilet were slanted to one side.
Staff was friendly and breakfast area was clean. Would stay there again, property just looks dated, but it was otherwise a great value and a clean room.
Pretends to be a nice hotel but it’s just a janky motel right on the main highway. Dirty.
Great Front Desk Staff!!
Nice people. Clean.
Hotel room was very run down. Chunks of paint missing from walls and furniture, carpets edges frayed, door lock to the bathroom and obviously been ripped out and was broken but just half assed screws back in, dingy and stained sheets. Not good.

…
Clean hotel and Staff is very friendly. Hotel feels a little old and the AC in our room kept going off. The staff would come whenever we called though. I would give 3 stars to the hotel and 5 stars to the staff.
Great
Good place to stay
the staff were wonderful and let us check in several hours early. it was much appreciated! we would definitely stay here again if we return to Mountain View.
The staff were very helpful and accommodating. I felt welcomed here and that’s means everything.
They were cordial. I was there for an interview and it was a perfect spot to stay and not pay too much. My room was facing the road. It was a little noisy
Very outdated facility and seemed super noisy at night time. Sounded like ppl were having parties at night couldn’t sleep
avaerage
It was quiet. The room was clean. The front desk was friendly. Breakfast was basic but ok.
Good stay for a business trip
Good place to stay for a business trip. Nothing fancy but ok. There is a simple included self-serve breakfast that is better than others of this type.
Rooms and Bath were old. Air Condition was loud.
Quite good, clean and good neighbourhood
My favorite
every time I patronize this hotel, it is magnificent, beautiful beautiful even the small, detailed things like soap, her and conditioners rather nice. This is one of my favorite hotels
Nice place. Smoke from people smoking in the parking lot seeped into the room. so I couldn’t leave the window open for fresh air. Other than that it was a great place in a convenient location at a reasonable price.
No frills, dated hotel, no expensive
We stayed here one night. It’s a “6” out of 10. Kind of noisy and bed was pretty good but breakfast was just juice and cereal. There was an In and Out Walgreens and Starbucks across the street Safe parking and wifi free. Hotel was old and dated.
Perfect
Fast check in quick and easy
Didn’t like one of the staff front desk
Staff was good but other than that hotel is in poor condition.
It was okay
I would not recommend anyone to stay at this facility.
Comfortable, cute hotel, comp breakfast needs work
Cute hotel, room was nice, beds comfortable. Elevator was broken for part of the stay, ice machine is on the ground floor so it was a trek down the stairs from the second. Breakfast was mediocre, cereal was mostly gone everytime we went down, within an hour of it starting it felt like things weren't stocked. Microwaveable Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches, and a breakfast pita was your choice along with cereal and toast. Oj or milk, would have been nice for some bottled water or other juice. Maybe yogurt or hard boiled eggs, anything to more appeal to families. The mini fridge, sink and microwave combo in the main room was really nice and we used the heck out of it. Would stay again
Close to facility where 50th class reunion was held (Michael’s at Shorline).
Near nice walkable dining.
Hotel-class room for motel-class price. We didn't try breakfast, so no opinion there. My *only* complaint was that the refrigerator (in 215) was a bit noisy.
Rooms are too small. Tv wasn’t working

The staff here was friendly and made it very quick and easy to check in. Would recommend for a peaceful stay.
