Nice location. Modern design. But bad room layout. Closet not in right location not as you enter room but around the corner beside the bed. Difficult to get to and not deep enough to hold the full width of a coat hanger. Room safe below it difficult to access. Bathroom top big, could have used extra space for rest of room.

Easy access

Nice hotel, felt a little outdated (lousy lighting in the rooms and no mini fridge either). Other than that, they checked us in relatively quickly and parking was available!

Excellent location, staff were very friendly and helpful.

A Weekend in Groningen

I decided to stay in this Hotel because of it's facilities ie the pool & the nearby lake, as I moved into an apartment in Central Groningen on Monday. My extended family will probably come out to visit me however over the coming months, so i needed somewhere decent for them to stay & the flank Hotel certainly didn't dissapoint

Older property but very well appointed & kept

Nice hotel, but room was very small. Hard to place your suitcase anywhere and still have access to the things in the room. They have bike rental in the hotel, which was very convenient for us. Just make sure that you have enough air in tires ! We were biking with half flat tires, so when we reached downtown I was soooo tired. All bike stores were closed on our way and we did not have pump.

Cozy hotel in a quiet area surrounded by nature

Cozy hotel, free parking, pleasant staff. Not far away from a city centre, you can walk or take a bus to a centre. Hotel is surrounded by nature, has a swimming pool, many meeting rooms. We travelled as a group,ad a buffet dinner in a separate private area which was cool as we could sit all together (17 people). The check in and out very fast, reception staff very pleasant so was staff in a bar. Hotel was very clean and modern. We'll stay in future for sure.

Absolutely fantastic stay. Lovely hotel and staff. Room was great and the bathroom also. The park nearby is also ideal for a stroll or run. The hotel also provided a mini van service into Groningen and back - really nice. Would certainly stay again. Pool also open until 10pm and very clean and good. Can’t complain about anything. Thank you to all the staff.

This was the best hotel that we stayed at! We loved everything about it. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. It has a beautiful atmosphere and the hotel is very clean. The room was spacious and gave us some privacy as a family with the connecting door to the bedrooms. The view is awesome. We spent hours biking around the lake and enjoying the trails. The dining options are great and the service is wonderful! We cannot wait to return!

Nice hotel, unfortunately the restaurant was closed at 5pm due to Covid, I had a cheese burger which I took to my room, was OK 5/10, my colleagues burgers the next day for lunch were far superior.

The hotel cat was lovely. Hotel was lovely and modern, restaurant and reception staff were fantastic. Was not sure what the giant screws outside were for.

This is a beautiful hotel. It is clean with modern furnishings. We enjoyed complimentary drink coupons for the restaurant. There is a beautiful hiking trail with ponds behind the hotel. The only problem is they cut off the fans and air-conditioning at 11 pm and it got hot and stuffy in the room. No fan. The second night we found out how to open the window with unmarked controls, but that let in mosquitoes.

Second visit after a number of years even better! The terrace looked new and fresh! Lovely to have a drink and enjoy the view over the lake. It was not too busy either. Our room was convenient and the aircon was welcomed!,

There was a bad smell from the bathroom and the exhaust from the toilet was incredibly loud and annoying

What a wonderful stylish hotel, the interior decoration is super nice and the whole atmosphere in the hotel is very stylish. But also very comfortable. The beds are super good and comfy. The view from my room on the 5th floor was beautiful! The personnel is very friendly and service oriented. Just a lovely experience overall and would recommend!

Nice family room, friendly personnel. Shuttle service to the city center was a nice plus since the hotel is not located on walking distance of the city center.

Amazing location and a Nice breakfast buffet. But the room was less than impressive and given the fact that this was the most expensive hotel In the area we are not happy with the facilities. Traveling with a baby you have certain needs and the room was really poorly decorated for that. We had no refrigerator in the room, the doors to the toilet and wash room were really squeaking loud and also the toilet flushed so loud and the door was binding and didn’t want to shut completely, so we had to use the one in the hallway in stead to not wake the baby. Also, there were very few electrical outlets and none in the bathroom. And the lights were poor. Just overall not an impressive room for such a high rate.

Clean, quiet renovated hotel with good climate controlled rooms incl. good bathroom. Friendly, professional and polite staff all around. Quiet green location away from the busy/loud town center. Wished I could have stayed longer!

Schone kamers. De verlichting in de kamer was echter niet prettig, vrij donker. In de badkamer slecht licht bij de spiegel, onmogelijk om je op te maken.

Ruhige Unterkunft in der Natur und dennoch sehr stadtnah. Personal im Hotel und Restaurant sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Der warme Pool rundete unseren Kurztrip mit Entspannung ab.

Das Hotel hat uns wirklich sehr gut gefallen. Besonders der flexible hoteleigene Shuttle-Transfer in die Stadt und zurück zum Hotel ist super. Das Personal ist sehr serviceorientiert und freundlich. Gute Parkmöglichkeiten und schöne Umgebung. Würden wir jederzeit wieder buchen.

Prima hotel op prima lokatie voor de stad Groningen en voor de omgeving.

Bij ontvangst super vriendelijk geholpen. Wij hebben geboekt voor het concert van Rammstein, na het concert bleef de bar nog minimaal een uur langer open voor de fans, ook hier deden ze de moeite om, gezien de tijd, zachtjes Rammstein op te zetten, en iedereen netjes te voorzien van een hapje en een drankje. Ook het ontbijt de volgende dag was meer dan top! Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar!

Prima hotel voor onze overnachting in Groningen. Het parkeerterrein ligt (voor wie wat moeilijker ter been is) wel wat op afstand. Eén suggestie: wat meer theezakjes. Op onze kamer waren er 2 met kamillethee en 1 met groene thee. Wat "gewone" thee erbij, bijv. Earl Grey zou niet slecht zijn.

Etwas weg vom Zentrum, aber sehr ruhig gelegen

Makkelijk bij het centrum maar toch heel rustig

Zeer rustig gelegen hotel midden in het groen maar toch vlakbij het stadscentrum. Zeer grote parking. Alle comfort aanwezig, de kamer is niet super groot maar dit hoeft ook niet. Uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet. We hebben ook 's avonds lekker gegeten en het personeel was heel vriendelijk. We komen hier graag terug.

Dårlig komminkasjon til bysenter er avhengig av bil eller Taxi, Dette kan en ikke kalle miljøvenlig. Turen med taxi koster rundt Nok 200. eller mer. Det er ingen butikker i nær området. Dette hotelle er mest for konferanser og lignende. Resturangen har ikke stor nok meny til å spise der i mange dager. Vi spister der en gang maten var ok.

Gebouw mooi, prachtige plek, kamer veel te klein.

Kamer veel te klein, ontbijt gewoon geen verrassing. fietsstalling is goed maar te klein, haal de rekken eruit en de ongebruikte fietsen. Wij hebben kort haar, in de badkamer op de vloer lagen hele lange zwarte haren. Entree suggereert een luxe die er niet is. Prijs kwaliteit niet in verhouding.

Keurig hotel. Mooi interieur, heel netjes en schoon. Mooi terras en goed eten. Zeer vriendelijk personeel.

Parking non surveillé et hors site. Accueil très froid, pas d’info sur les services de l’hôtel : la piscine et le restaurant. Chambre correcte et propre.

Det var ok. Der mangler at blive tjekket på værelset om alle pærer i loftet virker. Det var noget mørkt i garderoben da de ene lys var sprunget.

Super service med gratis 1/2l vand på en varm dag. Sengene kunne være bedre. God og venlig betjening
