Nice hotel
Great location, ammenities and service!
A great location, fun decor, friendly staff and comfortable beds and nicely designed rooms! This is a hotel that Americans might appreciate because of the services, amenities and larger room sizes. We live in Paris and went for a weekend trip with our little dog in tow, and it was a perfect spot!
Stayed for a week in late December…great hotel and location in the city.
Le service et la sympathie du personnel est au top !
Very nice place to stay. Great location. Walkable distance from the Center. Great service. Beautiful rooms. I will definitely come back. Oliver and Angelica were awesome with me and my family.
Good customer service.
Very organized and cozy place
A good place to stay as there was transport outside the door but an easy walk to the centre too. Very quiet and comfortable and very helpful staff.
The staff was excellent, bar opened our personal bottle of wine. Enjoyed the stand up shower, and the room was spacious. Close to many restaurants.
We had a pleasant stay, room was clean and enjoyed the use of the kitchenette. Bed was very comfortable! Happy to recommend and stay again, bar and restaurant were lovely but maybe a little expensive compared to outside establishments.
Very friendly and helpful front desk staff.
Housekeeping was not good. 2 days the room was not cleaned, and did not receive towels or water.
Location of this hotel is okay only because it is near a train stop and next to a mall. However the surrounding area did not feel safe especially at night because there were a lot of drunk and rowdy characters right near the hotel entrance.
Although the building is a concrete eyesore the hotel inside is wonderful. Very modern, well designed with very helpful staff and a good restaurant and bar. It is about 100m from the start of the city that’s old, traditional and beautiful. The walk to the river and the reflecting pool is no more than 20 minutes. Enjoyed my stay so much I’m going back later in the week! Certainly worth considering for your stay in Bordeaux.
Love the staff and hotel- highly recommend
Excellent 18 month old modern style hotel. Good in all respects, other than the continuous music which found intrusive. Silence would have made it perfect.
Courteous staff. Near town for sightseeing
Excellent location with terrific food and lovely staff. Great hotel that was recently renovated and very clean and green
Very Comfortable Hotel
Very comfortable rooms , quiet and well equipment. Staff were really friendly, bar area is really nice and basement secure car park was a plus. 5 mins away are restaurants and the start of the pedestrian area of the city. Highly recommend.
Enjoyed the vibe of the property, a light whimsical feel.
Clean rooms. Great staff
Well located near the tram line to airport and walking distance to town. Staff were very helpful and friendly. However the hotel was undergoing renovation on our floor and several things did not work well like the air con! Also, floor was marked from previous guests.
Check in was delayed, many others waiting in the reception for their rooms as well.
This is a hip, fun hotel from which you can walk to the old city. The neighborhood itself is full of 70's, chunky, concrete architecture (i.e. ugly) which is in start contrast to the historic area. The breakfast buffet had a wide range of hot foods, not the typical petite dejuner which is just a croissant and cold cuts. There was paid parking under the building which was very convenient. The rooms are spacious. We really liked staying here.
This is a large hotel. Staff appeared impersonal and rushed. Room did not have a refrigerator. Overall, this is a functional place with a good location. Parking was difficult because it was difficult to exit, the exit was really narrow and steep right angle that was difficult for our small car to use.
Great
Great location, extremely friendly and helpful staff, beds were so comfortable, lovely outside area
I love this hotel! Great location, staff all speaks English and is so helpful!! Great bar and restaurant ! Can’t wait for my next trip to First Name and Bordeaux !
Spacious Rooms
This hotel was selected due to its location and access to parking, which was ample due to the shopping center across the street. Although off the beaten path, it was a quick walk to all the sites. The room was quite spacious and we had a corner room with an expansive view.
Really cool & eco place but neighborhood is too industrial. Taxi couldn’t figure how to drop me in front so we had to walk across the tram tracks with my luggage. He left me & my luggage inside but reception up one floor so hard to get there by myself. Wd have given higher marks but for that & the neighborhood. Loved the concept tho. Still a bit pricey.
Hotel located 10 mnt walk from center, across the street from large mall. Were upgraded to nice large corner room. Great amenities, even a streamer. Good breakfast with many options, including omelets. Good choice
Only two people serving in the restaurant. I was rejected by the staff to have dinner with available tables. My two kids went to bed without eating that night. I asked them at what time the restaurant closes and they said at 10:30 pm; however, they told me several times that they were unable to get any food orders. I complained in reception and they just told me that they will let the managers know, but no one followed up with me. I would not visit this hotel again and wouldn’t recommended to anyone.
Bordeaux
Great staff and location enjoyable stay
Super choice of hotel
The service was amazing. The staff was excellent - they even helped make my reservations since I was having a difficult time with the language translations. It was a very pleasant and satisfactory stay. The lady at the bar who served coffee every morning was just fantastic. The room was clean and spacious. I couldnt have asked for better.
I like the services and the location. I booked the corner room 204. The room size is reasonable and the two sides window are great.
The outside of the hotel is not pleasant, but once you enter it is amazing. The living wall is great and sych a good idea, the eco items on the room are a great feature and well thought out. Our room faced the fromt but we heard nothing from the trams or nearby bars. The kitchenettes on each floor are a great idea and very handy and useful. The only issue we had on two mornings was the lack of staff in cleaning tables, hot drinks and replenishing items. Poor lady was rushed off her fault doing everything.
Lovely Trip to Bordeaux. The hotel is located about 2 blocks from the old city. The hotel was wonderful and very accommodating.
First Name. First class.
The hotel is in a fantastic location with the A tram stop virtually right outside, it’s a short walk into the centre with other tram stops to get about the city. The hotel is very modern and looks great. The local amenities are superb with lots of food options nearby. We really loved staying here and are thinking of coming back for a family holiday.
Eco-friendly bohemian gem
At first when we arrived, from the outside I felt a bit received as it looked very different to the pictures. Once we got inside, to reception and room, we were amazed and so in love with all the small extra things they had added to either decorate the place or to make it more eco-friendly. Room was spacious with plenty of natural light, very big for it's size, super comfy bed, nice bathroom, french press as coffee and there was a kitchen on the outside where you can get free drinks (cola or lemonade), fortune cookie, sweets and fruits. Really like the bohemian, light colour, modern vibes to the rooms. I may even return to Borderaux to just stay here again
Had a fantastic stay at this property.
Great hotel overall
Amazing hotel
Amazing hotel in the center of Bordeaux. This hotel is new and you can see it inside. The decoration very warm. The rooms are large and very confortable. The bed clothes very soft. The restaurant in the hotel is incredible. It's better to stay at the hotel and eat in this restaurant. The food is really very good.
Good value and responsive staff
We were initially underwhelmed. The room seemed tiny and not well laid out. We missed having a small frig in room. We weren't too sure about the neighborhood. But we came to appreciate this as a very good hotel. Extremely helpful staff. Very clean. Comfortable beds. And staff took care of refrigerating medication that needed to be kept cool with no problems. It's a great location for exploring the city. And the underground parking on site is a huge plus.
Hotel supplies friendly staff with a very nice bar and restaurant if you decide to stay on property
Great staff and clean rooms!
Rooms are clean and fun! Great friendly staff!
Front Desk Staff "The Best"
Lovely design like vibe, fabulous welcoming staff and a beautiful bar area. Nice sized rooms as well. Great place!
We slept really well here! Loved this hotel !!!
Not easy to find at least of driving. Weird area full of bad 80s architecture - but hotel was nice with good rooms and good food
Everything was wonderful at this hotel. It started with amazing and friendly stafff at check-in, during the stay and checking out. We had to leave super early to the train station so they had us check out the night before to save time and helped us reserve a taxi to the train station. When we were leaving, they had the coffee in to-go cup ready for us too! So nice of him to do that. We have been to many places and the staff at this hotel by far is one of the best. It is also super close to the town center and ample parking on the street or the hotel garage. We loved how there is a little kitchenette that has snacks, tea bags, drinks and refillable water. We will def come back and stay here next time we are in Bordeaux! Thank you FirstName hotel!!!
It is a lovely hotel. Well located with friendly staff and very well equipped rooms
Excellent hotel. Staff was super helpful. Badaboum was cute!
Doing it’s bit for the planet
Great hotel great location and doing its bit for the planet too
I loved the location because it was easy to walk anywhere around town; it was in a safe place. The mall across the street was a treat; the grocery market was an added plus. The front desk was most helpful with any questions we had. I highly recommend this place to stay with your kids or just adults.
Amazing stay! 😃
we stayed in Bordeaux for 5 nights and it was brilliant. The hotel absolutely amazing and the staff were so helpful. The kitchenette on each floor is so handy for refilling water etc. the hotel is very clean, eco conscious and the rain style shower was AMAZING!! Our flight home was late on the last day and for a very minimal fee we could stay until it was time to go to the airport. The tram stop is right outside the hotel door (which goes directly to the airport!) and there is also a shopping centre more or less attached to the hotel. Our only wish was that the hotel had a pool too 😃 will 110% recommend to our friends and family.
The staff was super helpful and friendly. the 24 hours staff is a bonus as we had to check out at 4 AM. It was clean and green. It had dining options and a bar which is a bonus.
EXCEPTIONAL. Amazing service and property. Staff was unbelievably accommodating and friendly.
Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful!
Excellent hotel, comfortable, clean and well located - Really friendly, helpful and accommodating staff . The hotel is well styled and a comfortable relaxing location
Very modern hotel with large practical rooms
Firstname easy to remember hotel name
No better or worse than expected. We were quite upset seeing that the complimentary glass water bottles were removed from rooms refilled without being washed. The lack of outside signage made finding the hotel itself very tricky when driving in. We were a little surprised that although the coffee was replenished, sugar was not. The bad and the location were excellent.
All of the staff were very service oriented and professional
Highly recommend and plan ok returning
As others have said, don’t judge a book by its brutalist cover. Really nicely fitted out and lovely staff made for a very enjoyable stay.
Very convenient location
Very clean room. Great atmosphere on the bar and opposite a trim stop so easy to get around.
Central hotel
Comfy hotel walking distance to center and right beside public transport parking available for cost very easy
Teeny tiny room but in the heart of everything. Amazing staff and super clean. I just wish the room was about 30 square feet bigger so you could get out of the bed on the side vs the foot of the bed.
Close to inner city in a boutique hotel - great bar with good drinks and lovely rooms.
Great hotel and amazing staff
Great hotel in so many ways and highly recommended.
Great hotel and also brand new (opened Jan 2023), for the price is felt very luxurious. They do a kitchenette style format for cold water, drinks, etc. which may not be for everyone. But the location is great, 5min walk from the hotel and you're in the thick of Bordeaux.
Location's convenient. Parking's convenient. Room was nice but a little bit too small, and also ventilation was not so good. Bar was cool and service was cool.
Great hotel in convenient location.
Good choice for location
Overall a great place - right next to the tram stop and 10 minutes walk to Bordeaux centre. Breakfast entirely forgettable so eat elsewhere. Service really friendly. Bar expensive so drink elsewhere!
The rooms smell of glue and other chemicals, giving guests headache and breathing problems. (this is what earns them "unclean bc the air is not. The beds are like laying on concrete (made to last, without any consideration for guest comfort). The staff is non-responsive. Expedia tried calling twice with no answer & I let the phone ring for 10 mins without answer. After checking out (the same day), front desk promised a call back from the manager, but manager never called. Terrible experience, toxic/unhealthy/unsafe rooms, beyond uncomfortable beds. my advice is to stay away.

Lots of building work going on early in the morning right outside window but hotel was great and very central
