Amazing property, from check-in to check-out the stay was top tier! Chetna was helpful and accommodated all our requests! Everyone in the restaurants was great too.

Exceptional experience and stay!

A Journey of Culture and Hospitality

I loved this beautiful journey , experiencing the culture, music, colours of the rich heritage of Jaipur.. The activities on site are so captivating, from the grand welcome to the sunset tradition of lighting the lamp. The courteous warm namaste of the staff, at the entrance and as we enter the buffet area, it is heat warming. Enjoyed the hospitality and ambience of Fairmont, Jaipur. Would love to do it again!

Excellent Property

My grandmother fell down because the property didn’t have any markings for her to know there was a step. She fractured her arm. The hotel staff was extremely unaccommodating. They didn’t even provide us a better medical treatment assistance and rather pretended it was not a big deal. The least they could have done is provide her proper medical treatment and paid for our rooms and her surgery. We paid lacs of rupees to them and they compensated by not even providing any better assistance. It used to take 1 hour to bring food to her when we would order, there was no staff to take care of her. It was a horrible experience. I would like them to refund all the money we spent on them and compensate for the surgery.

Staff were a delight. Got an upgrade and it was a fantastic stay. Will be back again.

Pleasant stay and delicious food.

I would avoid this property if they are having any wedding functions. Loud music (including very loud drums) kept going till 130am, despite residents complaints. After that there was a sort of all night party by a fire which was right by our bedroom window. I have no problem with hotels having exciting and glamorous weddings, however one expects an international chain like Fairmont to enforce a strict 11pm curfew, plus it would have been relatively easy in such a large hotel to have the all night party away from guest rooms.

It was a wonderful experience

hygiene was a big issue - the baby chair had food all over it. the seat cloth had stains that must have been there for ages and was never washed. The baby cot, blanket and pillow was so dirty, the pillow was in bad shape- the filling inside had become like a ball- we were shocked.

Unfortunate Experience

As the hotel is outside of Jaipur getting to the city can be time consuming with traffic. We also had a very unpleasant experience with Uber so transport to and from the hotel is difficult. You end up having no choice but to book the hotel taxis which are around 10 times the regular price which was fine however the driver made us uncomfortable by persistently trying to get us to book him privately and leave 5 star reviews. The hotel grounds and rooms are beautiful. I really wanted to give this place a 5 star however unfortunately our 3 night stay was not great. Check-in process was quick and pleasant. Check-out was very poorly managed. I was told as a member of Fairmount there would be reduced bills for food and beverage. This was not reflected at check out and we ended up paying full price. Furthermore they failed to book our airport transfer which added an additional 45min delay. The bar and pool staff were varied. One evening our drinks were delayed by 40 mins and I could see the staff behind the bar were distracted and not actually making our cocktails. The security guy at the pool kept staring at all the guests which was uncomfortable. The concierge team were probably the worst. They couldn’t tell me about any of the attractions or shopping in the city or where I could buy local craft. There was a young guy in a turban who just gave me a blank stare. We came to Fairmont expecting a certain standard. Our stay was definitely not up to the mark. Staff was extremely rude, one person even felt ashamed of talking in Hindi? Last I checked, this resort exists in India. Absolutely condescending behaviour! The dryer in the room was not working, not replaced. The lotion bottle had shampoo in it instead. Water was cold after one shower. Overall, the property itself is breathtaking but the staff as well as amenities are not worth it at all. Absolutely disappointing! With great name, also comes responsibility and a certain standard of quality, which this resort is definitely lacking. Much rather spend your money on a quality experience at The Leela Palace or Devi Ratn, do not waste your money here.

The welcoming of incoming and outgoing gusts is realy extraordinary. I will leave the details as a surprise. Beautiful people and very helpful.

My overall experience at Fairmont Jaipur was disappointing. From the first step- there was no welcome drink, even no water was provided on request. It took staff more than one hour to have our room ready even though we arrived after 4pm. Cleanliness at the property was above average and they try to mask it with overpowering fragrances across the property. The type of rooms and level of cleanliness they had was not what you expect from a 5-star hotel with a reputation. Room service was too slow. I would recommend anyone visiting Jaipur to consider other options as this Fairmont location won’t provide you the experience you would expect.

The stay was very pleasant and bedding was TOP notch and staff was very polite and cooperative although it was one night stay but will love to come back soon. Food is also good and variety was good.

Services to slow............

We were here for my brothers wedding. We had booked three rooms from Expedia. Apparently this was very confusing for the staff. They tried to charge use twice for the rooms. In fact they did charge it twice - charged my brother while he was checking out after I had already paid for therooms. They try to use the smoke of checking out large groups to deceive you. Beware. Look at your invoice. Keep copies.

Style & Service

Excellent service; every individual was polite, courteous and took pains to ensure that everything we were comfortable. Whether it was special meals due to dietary restrictions or specific provisions in the room - whatever we requested was provided / made available. A beautiful property, with many nooks and crannies to discover as you walked around.

This hotel honestly had the best customer service I’ve ever had in any hotel in the world. They went over and beyond to make sure that our stay was excellent. I wanted to move in.

Absolutely stunning hotel and views. Rooms were beautiful and there was royal, Rajasthani treatment. The one thing we didn't like was that we went downstairs for a drink and we asked the server to bill the hotel room. We headed out shortly after and another server chased after us asking if we paid and when we told him we had already provided our room number, he asked for it again. We didn't appreciate being a 5-star hotel and being treated like we would dine and dash. That was embarrassing. The servers need to work with each other and communicate who is helping which client and if payment has been taken care of ahead of time.

Very Nice hotel and view, worth to stay and enjoy your holiday with family and friends

Beautiful and well-maintained hotel

We spent just one night at this hotel and really liked the service, staff attitude and food. We were a little disappointed to learn that the pool was under maintenance after we had made a reservation but to be fair, the hotel emailed us right after the reservation was made. The hotel common areas as well as the rooms are very well maintained and the rooms & bathrooms very spacious.

Excellent hotel with quality service

Our experience was excellent. Very good hotel, spacious room and they upgraded us to Fairmont gold which had quite a few free services. V friendly and knowledgeable staff. Laundry was cleaned and delivered before time, food was delicious with many varieties and the hotel was outstanding. Felt like staying in an actual palace. I would specifically thank the following staff, Aman at the concierge who guided us everyday and was soft spoken and friendly, shahrukh who delivered my laundry everyday and Nahid in the reception area was v talkative and friendly. I would love to come back. We were welcomed with music every time.

Had lot of expectation but very Disappointed

A couple of big corporate groups had reserved the hotel, so all the attention of staff was with them. Personal guests weren’t getting much such as welcome was very ordinary, room was not ready even at 5pm, I booked a poolside room but construction was going on all the time to prepare the stage for the incoming corporate guests

Wash room dirty till mid night screaming and shouting loudly with doors open crowd in hotel was just like sitting in there village Disappointed with conditions But staff was very helpful trying to do their best but I should say they should change rules fore sure

the rooms are clean, the service perfect. However, This is a Fairmont Property, which is now a MICE / Wedding destination. there is no character, nor any elegance. doesnt do justice to fairmont name.

nice facility terrible management

hotel front desk manager is inept .. he took our passports for 30 minutes to register at the slowest time of day. got lousy room overlooking some walls when hotel was completely empty. food was stale at breakfast, pastries reused over several days. monkeys on dining room tables outside, shooed away, utensils never replaced by waiters. lots of staff, though they did not know what they were supposed to be doing. cheap labor

Hotel is far from Jaipur in a industrial area

Poorly trained front desk staff and manager. Hotel management non existent . Wifi poor , unable to use for work or general email. Food at breakfast stale , reused . Checkin took 30 minutes at 6pm , with no one else waiting . Manager hides inside office, won't come out . Go to meridian next door for better experience . Will try to overcharge if they can , examine your bill carefully

Hotel reception and manager poorly trained , wifi non existent , room was nice but not cleaned properly , sink in room backs up . Breakfast not up to standards of competitors like Oberoi or Itc Mughal . Tried to extort extra 200 , due to a booking error . Was able to rebook same rooms for $200.00 less using Expedia app. Manager on site and receptionist very rude .. If you need to stay in the area go to le meridian next door

Far outside Jaipur, overpriced

Disappointing experience. Felt the hotel was overpriced for what it was. Location not great -- far outside Jaipur where the attractions are, especially considering traffic, and hotel cars were priced on the very high end. Not possible to hail a local cab due to remote location, so you are stuck using the hotel cars. Service was not great either. All the staff were polite and were really trying, but service was slow and disorganized, especially check-in and the concierge. Would not recommend unless you are in Jaipur for an extended period of time and can really take advantage of the facilities. If you are there just for one night, like we were, and want to explore Jaipur, it is not convenient and not worth the price tag.

Top notch welcome with rose petal shower and traditional music serenade. Jasmine diffusers throughout illuminate the senses. Higher floor rooms with fantastic mountain views. Well designed rooms, clean and delightful.

Paradise

It is really indescribable! You have to see this hotel for yourself. If you miss the chance then you have missed one of Indias highlights. I stepped with a WOW and left with WOW! It was truly a magical place. Staff were awesome, food reasonably priced for that delicious taste. I travel to many countries around the world and have stayed in many 5stars but this deserves a 7 star award. Well done!
