The Hotel has shuttles to Disney Park with 4 theme park. That’s very convenient. I like it. Only one thing needed to be improved is the hot water shower. Hope it will make it better and steady.

run down shabby hotel, overcrowded breakfast area; no hot water the first night; had to ask for proper number of bath towels each day we were there

Our room was clean, but the door kept coming off the hinge and it was very loud and took full body strength to open and close. So, if we wanted You leave the room when the kids were sleeping you had to wake them up with the loud noise from the door. The bathroom needs some updating and caulking (my biggest annoyance is old bathroom caulk that can get mold in it, yuck). Otherwise the room was fine. They didn't have hot water The day we got in the airport so The dream of showering after a long day a travel was shot. The shuttle to Disney was convenient but lacked a lot of pickup options if you didn't want to stay until 10. The property is very spread out. Pools are warm and nice. Splash areas for kids are freezing. The Zipline and rock climbing were for big kids only (my 42" kid could not do any of it) even when the sign says 40". My son was sent back to change into dry clothing also when his shorts were very slightly damp before he could do the Zipline. Breakfast was typical, nothing special but definitely an expense daved on the trip. Two bud lights and tip at the pool bar were $17.50. I would say overall is a decent property, especially if you're just staying here to visit the theme parks.

I do not recommend this hotel at all. The area has plenty of options dining and the distance from Disney is optimal. Staff is non existent. Called the front desk multiple times though out our 2 night stay and found it easier to walk to the main building and stand waiting for someone to acknowledge that I had a need. First morning our our trip there was no hot water. Breakfast had no where to sit. So we ended up getting our food and taking it back to the room. Problem solved right. Wrong, there are 2 spots to sit with 4 people. I was not looking for a 5 star hotel but I expected more out of my time here. I strongly advise against staying at this hotel. The area offers numerous dining options, and the distance from Disney is ideal. However, the staff is severely lacking. Despite calling the front desk multiple times throughout our two-night stay, I found it more convenient to walk to the main building and wait for someone to acknowledge my needs. On the first morning of our trip, we discovered that there was no hot water in the room. Additionally, breakfast lacked seating options, forcing us to carry our food back to our room. While I didn’t expect a five-star experience, I had higher expectations for my stay at this hotel.

Stayed 7 nights of those 7 nights we only had hot water for the shower two nights. The staff were nice but they are severely understaffed. I know the price is fairly good but I don’t recommend picking this place because the price. You go on vacation to be stress free and free of hassle. Sadly this place was a hassle to deal with the entire week. Spend a little more and pick a spot that will fix issues or problems that arise.

Hard to open the lights.

Room was dilapidated, counters and bathtub were filthy. The mini fridge broke durning the night and water was all over. The sheets did not fit the bed. Staff was zero help. Didn't offer a different room or that someone would come clean the room. Overall experience was negative.

Spacious and cozy

Miss. Love at the front desk was very welcoming and friendly. She went above and beyond to help us get an early check in. Room was clean and spacious, the beds were very comfortable and loved that the room had a microwave. Great view. Lots of food areas where nearby. The only slight defect was that not all the channels on the tv were working but since we weren't going to be in the room that much it wasn't a big deal.

Great stay for visiting theme parks and surrounding area. 6 miles from Disney World. Our room had a slow draining tub, but the room was cleaned everyday. Liked the pools and breakfast.

The breakfast in the morning was always fresh and delicious. The property had soo much to offer at no extra charge and it is close to everything! Highly recommend!

Staff was very friendly, location was clean. The shower kit needed updating but it was kept clean. Breakfast was a bit 2 notes (inlet and sausage or scrambled eggs and turkey sausage. But it is clean and stocked as well.

I paid for a room that sleeps 4 an got 1 queen size bed only had to ask about it an try to get it rectified they gave us only 2 towel an i call to ask for 2 towel she never acknowledge me she just hang up the phone without say ok they never brought the towel i had to walk over to the next building in the night to get 2 towel from the reception area they give u no bottle water even to make coffee you hav to buy your own services disappointing 😞

The TV did not work, there was no toilet paper in the bathroom, stains all over the floor, shower was not cleaned, and no toilet paper dispenser. There was paint all over the curtains, the phone didnt work and the alarm clock was unplugged.

The staff were excellent/friendly. The breakfast was good: eggs, biscuit etc The shower was wacky. The cold was hot, the hot was cold and sometimes scalding. The non mat bathtub is slippery even though there is a “ built” in non slip surface The elevator jerks when going up. Housekeeping didn’t clean the tub very well. One side of our room lost power(microwave,tv,fridge,coffee maker, light couldn’t use ) Told it would be fix/someone would look at it, no one came. Would I stay again? Probably not.

I liked Christian at the check in desk. He went above and beyond helping me with everything especially when I'm here for my dad in hospice. He was definitely understanding helpful and made my trip less stressful. He is awesome and a great person!!!!!

Convenient and decent but needs work.

The building we stayed in seemed tired. The sink and shower filled up very quickly like a bathtub due to inadequate draining. Not many things worse, at a hotel property, than standing in dirty water up to your ankles during your shower after a long day of walking and sweating. The breakfast was not good we only ate it the first morning. The omelets had a weird processed cheese in the middle almost like a cheese whiz. They ran out of hot breakfast foods about every three minutes and had to wait 5-10 for more to come out.

Staff were so nice. They made sure we have enough supplies in our room. The only thing that the hotel needs to improve is the running water. It smells old and we have to use our bottled water to brush our teeth. our teethh.

Outdated and run down

It was very outdated! None of the safety doors on the outside of the buildings worked! Anyone could get in the hotel. I would not stay here again and spend extra money for nicer quality hotel

Breakfast not kept stocked. Pancake machine kept breaking down. Could never get coffe. 1 staff for 1 cramped area serving 2 buildings. Unable to get frontbdesk to answer. Staff stole from our room and went into suitcase. No call back from manager to address when reported.

The door to the outside of the building was broken leaving our building susceptible to outsiders. The TV in our room did not work properly and no one would answer the front desk phone when I tried to call for assistance. The carpet in the room was dirty.

20 minutes from Disney and the parks and also for the price is worth it. The breakfast is really good. The beds are super comfortable and the pillows also thanks see you soon.

Shared concern with front desk at checkout

Not our best stay

The heater in the room didn’t work. Tried to call front desk, but phone didn’t work. Called the hotel from cell phone and tried to transfer to the front desk at least 20 times to no avail. Called reservation desk instead. Because we booked through hotels.com, we had to join their rewards program before they could help us. Said the maintenance team was on their way. Waited 30 minutes. No one came. Husband had to walk down to front desk. They said the maintenance team left 15 minutes ago. Front desk acted like it was no big deal. So he demanded another room. We were already changed for the night so had to pack up and move to another room. Water stains in ceiling and bathtub was questionable. Breakfast was emptied by 9:20. No cinnamon rolls, eggs, potatoes, fruit, or yogurt. Worker told me it would be 10-20 minutes for more eggs.

I was 2 days without electricity in the room, and they only gave me flashlights to solve the problem!!!!

We checked in and spent two nights of our expected 6 at the hotel. Colin was excellent in getting us checked in. The room itself was decent. Beds were comfy. The plugs were loose so that was obnoxious. And the bathroom was mediocre. There was no toilet paper roll dispenser and the tub could use a little help. On our third evening there, we went in through the stairs as opposed to the front door based on where we were parked. When we got our room, the lights didn’t work and neither did the phone. So I called the front desk. We had no power. From what I understand, three floors didn’t have power. They offered us flashlights or to move us down the road at no extra cost. We took the latter option as my sister has a CPAP and needs it to sleep. We packed in about five minutes and headed down the road for the remainder of our stay. It is unfortunate. But the hotel itself was alright. Our experience was just unique.

Very quiet and all employees very helpful with a happy smile

During our stay, the power kept going out in half of our room. This caused our fridge to break over night, causing all our food to spoil. In addition, there was no hot water the entire week and house keeping kept collecting all of our towels, and forgetting to leave us new washcloths and hand towels. We had to walk all the way over to their main building to get towels every day. Also, the ice machines were broke in all of the second building where we stayed, so we had to go to the first building to get ice as needed. I believe this property may have serious issues with their wiring, because 3 whole floors in the first building also experienced a power outage during our stay causing them to be relocated. I was honestly terrified there would be a fire from faulty wires the entire time. I will not be staying here again, despite how friendly the staff are.

Holiday Inn at Summer Bay

First time staying at this location. Have stayed at Summer Bay resort several times. Great hotel, room extra roomy, appears newly renovated, super clean. Have not gone to breakfast yet😃! We are able to access the resorts amenities but will not have time this trip. Great resort for kiddos!

No not water and no towels were left in the room apparently they ran out of towels and for 4 people when asked for towels they give you one and say sorry there is nothing we can do about it

Plenty of parking, but installations are poorly taken care for. Most of my stay one of the side doors was kept always open holding the door with a rock (?) was the AC not working properly? Breakfast was chaotic, by 8am most of the food options were gone. I never saw milk or fruit in the BF area. Our room was not cleaned 2 of the 7 nights we stayed. Excuse was, in new year eve nobody works...but they still charged me the same fare. Certainly it was very obvious that there was no management present to ensure this place is ran as a Holiday Inn.

Loved all the resort amenities associated with the hotel. Swimming pool, zip line, fishing, movie theater. It’s not only hotel, it’s also part of resort community. Room service is provided daily. My kids enjoyed the stay here!

Not crowded for Christmas. Staff was great.

WE had a great time here and loved playing mini gold and exploring all the pools. The hot tub was nice too at the other locations near by. Only problem we had was there was only HOT water in the shower. We couldn't even take a shower cause it was so hot. Besides that problem it was great.

We stayed 9 nights at this property, was clean, staff friendly and full excess to the pools at the summer bay resort was amazing! We would stay again. Highly recommend for families

Stayed for 8nights, this hotel is perfect for families intending to go to disney world, they have their own shuttle bus that can take you to the parks and pick you up after. Their hotel has its own pool so kids can enjoy swimming. Free breakfast is enough to get you ready with your day especially when going out to the park.

Overall, it was a great stay!

Clean and comfy. The hot water in the shower is ify. It comes and goes. They know about it and it hasn't been fixed. Said it happens in alot of the rooms. But staff super friendly. Liked it there.

When we arrived for check in a sign was posted “be back soon” however there was another guest hatched been waiting for at least 15-20 minutes he said so luckily one of our party yelled “hello?!?” and then the front desk came from some closet looking half asleep. The tub didn’t drain so we showered in standing water and the hot water was hot for less than 10 minutes. Urine in the elevator all over the floor. We needed something for one night for a softball tournament…I have my regrets

Stayed for one night. Beds comfortable. Place us being renovated. They stop refilling breakfast around 9. Lots of good options. Hotel has access to amazing pools and facilities that we enjoyed such as mini golf, pools, zip line, etc. would stay again.

The young lady at the front desk was very helpful. However, all other staff around the property where you could do activities were so rude and lazy. You would think they worked at six flags and had a busy day which would explain having a hard day. NO! There weren’t any other guests around when me and my family wanted to do activities. Yet, when we went to do the activities (mini golf and zip lining) the staff seemed annoyed that they actually had to do their job. A gentlemen by the name of “Alex, or John Wayne” if I prefer 😉 I hope in the near future they get staff that actually want to help guests.

I liked everything

I had a great stay and was happy with the hotel.

Room was quiet and comfortable. Housekeeping was scarce. This was the low price alternative so I didn’t expect too much and I was not disappointed.

the rooms are extremely large. we were next to elevator. it made a humming/electrical noise every 4-5 minutes. sometimes short. other times long. the tub drain did not drain. night light next to bed won't turn off. had to unscrew the bulb. the main curtain doesn't close. so the sun shines in early in the morning. luckily we had a heavy clip to partially close the curtain. the breakfast was very nice. a large selection of things to eat. very close to 192/ Rt 27.

When we arrive to check into our hotel room, there was a sign that said be back in a few minutes. There was another gentleman standing there waiting and said he had been waiting for 10 minutes for shampoo. Within another 6 to 7 minutes there was three more families trying to check in. One of the family members hollered out hello… Within a few seconds and employee walks around the corner and begins to check us in. The hotel is not very clean. There was a hair on our bathroom counter and also there were dirty spots and I’m not sure what it was on the bathroom floor. The carpet looks like it has not been vacuumed in places. The elevator to take us up to our room had the worst smell I’ve ever smelt before. Not sure if it was urine or garbage.

Terrible horrible disgusting hotel

No laundry bags available. No towels available. A/C did not work in room - had to wait a while in the heat after my son had a game and was overheating for them to figure out at 11pm they wouldn’t be able to fix it so had no a/c. Man at front desk blew a fuse trying to fix it and lights started sparking. Terrible experience. Was told I would be refunded and haven’t and now magically there is no record. Would like to speak to someone from corporate. Dirty hotel. Paint chipping everywhere.

The breakfast offer was well below average Though the official breakfast time should go until 0930 the staff closed the door 5 to 10 minutes early At 0900 am no fruits were offered after 09 am In the room only some of the towels were replaced ending up after 3 days only 2 big towels and no small towels left

Several doors never locked and the main ones broken cutting your hand

The shower has an excess of mold, and a damaged tub. Hot water took way too long to come out. Not a value at the cost.

Bedding was scratchy and had to sleep on couch. Fridge was not cold nor defrosted. Nice to have the roominess and the kitchenette was nice except as noted. Italian restaurant on campus took 25 minutes to make a personal pizza. One of the workers was on a cell phone pretty frequently.

Hotel in a resort community

When we arrived, the gentleman behind the counter was friendly, helpful and did our check in seamlessly. He told us about the property, and we visited big kahunas and went in the hot tub. The next morning, we had an event and found that we had no hot water to shower, we were taken to another room, but it too had no hot water so we had to quickly shower in cold. By the time we came back, it had been fixed. The bed was rather firm, the pillows were not comfortable, and there were no room darkening curtains on the window, only sheers. The elevator is slow and when ascending, it bounces around the 3rd floor. The breakfast had a decent choice of foods, and there is a small area that has bottled drinks and snacks by the front desk. The room was clean, and the air worked fine. Wifi is provided. This hotel is in a "resort" community so you have access to a variety of pools, hot tubs, mini golf, mini kids waterpark, arcade, gym, tennis and pickleball courts and ping pong and basketball. The Italian kitchen food was mediocre. We had the spaghetti and chicken parm. Big kahunas has bar food that was good and cocktails, but it's only open till 10 pm and both nights they had kareoke. It would have been preferable to just have poolside music. Would i return? Maybe. I would give it 6 out of 10.

First time staying here and it probably one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. Very clean. Bed was super comfy. Breakfast was great too! We didn’t get a chance to check out all of the other parts of the resort because we were there one night, but from what we heard and saw, it looks like so much fun! Definitely coming back!

It was okay but mold was very visible in the shower area. I didn't have a complete towel set. The furniture has visible wear & tea. Also, the tv options weren't good, they need to update service provider. Breakfast & the pool were the best part

Hair on the bathroom floor

We had to change room because there was hair all over the bathroom floor. When the bathroom is that dirty I wonder what else has not been cleaned? Bathtub probably needs to be replaced. Overall disappointing. However, the front desk clerk was very polite and very accommodating.

Any staff member who I spoke to were the best! They helped with anything we needed help with and at one point came to deliver towels for us. I'd give them a 10/10 if i could! The room was clean and the best were comfy. The bathroom was nice. The only thing I would change was the shower head because the water pressure seemed light. There is also five pools here and playgrounds too!

We stayed here for one night. They provided large room in second building. The beds were comfortable and clean. The breakfast had lot of options, we enjoyed their free breakfast. Pancakes, cereals, cheese egg omelet, boiled eggs, yogurt, banana, breads and bagels butter, cream cheese. Those who eat meat can enjoy sausage and sausage gravy. Overall I recommend everyone who wants to stay at clean, quiet and good hotel.
