Lovely room.

lovely room, clean and great location, the host patrick was lovely and really helpful.

Definitely not what was shown on the site, the bathroom was moldy and not cleaned properly Even the room was dusty, like it had never been properly cleaned in a long time

Would stay again.

Great host and very welcoming. Only thing missing was shampoo and conditioner. Nice and close to the train station and well located within the city.

This property is in an excellent location. The only complain I have is that inside the building has a strong mold odor.

No restaurant on site as stated LONGway from town. Count on $40 a day for transportation if you don’t have a car WiFi is so weak it is useless If you just want a clean bed this is the place Rooms old and tired Soooo many stairs

Spacious rooms

On the whole, we enjoyed our stay at DVE Suite. The host was friendly and very accommodating of our schedule and luggage storage needs. The room was very spacious by European standards. The hotel is conveniently located right by a metro station, as well as a larger grocery store. The area surrounding the hotel is very multicultural. There were lots of food options, but not as many that featured traditional Italian cuisine. The area generally felt safe, following usual precautions for tourists. Unfortunately, our shower did not have hot water. The bed was very firm and the bedding was lightweight. While our room was serviced, our bed was left unmade.

The staff was great and very kind. The room was okay, bed was a bit stiff, no view from the window besides the building across, it was okay. The walls are thin tho, I had a group also staying in the hotel and I could hear them loudly and laughing for 3 nights in a row, all the way till 2 - 3 in the morning sometimes. I didn’t like that. But the hotel was okay, staff was friendly, and the metro is right outside the front door

We loved staying at DVE suites. Patrick (or Patricio) was very friendly and accommodating. He let us drop off our luggage prior to check in. Location is very convenient and the room was spacious and clean. Would definitely stay here again if we are back in Rome. My only caution would be not to buy anything from Bar Krystal just below DVE suites. If they detect that you are a tourist, they will jack up the price on whatever you want to buy as there are no prices listed. We were going to get Gelato there until I asked what the price was. Five Euros for 1 scoop of Gelato is outrageous. Apparently they think every tourist is a sucker!

It was amazing. We enjoyed our 5 day stay very much!

Good option for larger group

Great option, near subway entrance for sightseeing purposes. We had 5 people and fit successfully in the family suite.

The property in itself is superb with good room size and the owner was very helpful. The area around the property was very shady with drunkards roaming around the streets. The building in itself was very smelly (the rooms were not). Overall not a nice experience because of the surrounding area. Felt unsafe.

DVE Suite Family Suite

Cant fault it, Patrizio is was always on hand to accommodate us.

The room was clean, spacious and modern. Comtact for check in was faultless. It was also good walking distance from the train station and to the colosseum.

Very specious and just a street away from public transportation

The host was very helpful and answered any questions we had! The only thing we had to complain about was that there wasn’t enough hot water for my husband and I to both shower without it turning ice cold. Other than that it was in a very convenient location- walkable from train station and to main sights in Rome!

Pleasant one night stay here! Room was as pictured and clean. Very nice, large bathroom. Location was great for us traveling through via train. Only slight downer was the bed being not hard and not very comfortable.

The property overall is okay. The gentleman at the desk for check in was very helpful and kind. The room, we actually got an upgrade because the air conditioning in the room we were suppose to have was broken. It was a very large room no complaints there, the bathrooms on the other hand had a lot of mold and smelled musty. The rooms are a little outdated and only thing that really bugged us was one of the staff members went into our room both days to turn off our air conditioning unit, didn't like that. Overall a good place, the area is not in a great location nor central at all. I probably wouldn't stay here again.

The hotel is a short walk from the main train terminal and also has a metro station directly in front. The hotel room itself is lovely (large for Europe standards), modern and high ceilings. There are also only a few rooms so it’s nice and quiet and the host is onsite to help all day. Unfortunately we have to mark this property down for two reasons: we had almost no water pressure (only the smallest trickle for the sink and shower) for the duration of our stay so please check this is rectified before you book. The area outside the hotel is also unsafe after 10pm (lots of graffiti and homeless people around). I would still recommend but be mindful of what I’ve mentioned.

Room worked for our short stay in Rome, but was more like a dorm room than a hotel. Location was a bit far from most of the historic sites but close to the train. Apparently Rome was experiencing a water shortage, so we didn’t have water one evening and then one morning.

Excellent accomodation, short but pleasant stay - highly recommended!

Family trip to Rome

We travelled as family , spend 4 nights . Had an excellent Junior suite , kids enjoyed it as they loved the stairs between the down and upstairs . Had 2 baths , daily cleaning happened at 11:00 am , room was clean when you were back from long day outside . Good quality breakfast . Patrick was extremely helpful and a nice person . Always kept u in a loop if any information needed to be given . Loved the stay overall . Had loads of shops near by , good FOOD SHOPS / halal options available. Will definitely recommend

Beautiful family room with 2 bathrooms!

This was an ok stay. I must’ve probably missed it when I booked, but this isn’t a hotel. This is a bed-and-breakfast type of establishment. Patrizio Was extremely kind and attentive. I only wish that the pictures of this place were updated to how they currently look, As I realized once I got there that the pictures online are definitely not current. Overall, an all right stay. Close to the Colosseum (apprx 15 min walk) Lots of options for food there’s a great pizza spot around the corner, definitely recommend.

Terrific Place to Stay in the Heart of Rome

The door leading outside is just a dozen steps from an entrance to the subway. There's an antique elevator so no climbing stairs. There's good air conditioning. The owner Patrick is friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant and enjoyable. The suite with 5 beds and 2 bathrooms was perfect for my family of five.

Great property within 10 min walk of Termini station and with a metro stop right outside the front door. Owner is super communicative and can provide a lot of information about Rome and the area. Would definitely stay again.

This is a small hotel and the owner/manager gives great personal service. He was amazing, really, and helped us with some problems we had that has nothing to do with the hotel. The location is great and their are plenty of Roman history and restaurants, all within walking distance, plus it is conveniently located near the main train station.

Dirty and nasty hotel

The gentleman who manned the check in and check out was fantastic. He was helpful, funny and made me feel welcome.

If you are checking in late, please get in touch with the staff to let them know when you will be arriving. Or It was hard to get inside the building if you do not have any cellular data. Overall, it was great. The area was beautiful and I felt very safe and the location is near a lot of amazing attractions.

Really tough location especially at night. Decently clean. Great for a group of people. Or couples. But really terrible service and not helpful / or at the desk even during normal business hours.

Great spot close to everything in Rome.

Everything was absolutely wonderful. The staff was so nice and helpful and text me to see if there was anything I needed offering advice for train or taxi ect. Only thing if you’re sensitive to harder beds. I’m used to pretty soft and there was some tossing but well worth the stay.

They need to replace the mattress

Hotel was fairly accessible from Roma Termini. The entrance is slightly obscure so you must be on the lookout for the sign. Elevator is also very small, so two trips may be needed if you have a large suitcase. However, the receptionist was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The room was also very spacious! What was disappointing was that the floor beneath the bed seemed uncleared, and the kettle smelled sour. Overall, very good budget friendly stay.

Love Rome

DVE is accessible to line A of the train station about few steps from the place. The room was spacious and had a 2 bathrooms. Patrizio was very helpful and communication was excellent.

Well placed hotel with a good view.

We chose this hotel because of its location; close to the main attractions for those who do not mind exploring on foot. This meant a noisy road sometimes at night but that is something we expected. Our room overlooked the park across the road. The hotel itself is very clean. The shower could drain quicker in my opinion. The service we received from Patrizio was superb; not only we were able to drop our luggage earlier than check in but he also recommended good areas to explore for food. On our last day, he even arranged for our luggage to be kept safely so we didn’t have to drag it around until out flight was due. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.

Excellent stay and well looked after by the host who brought breakfast to our room each day

Host was great, very friendly, they have a great selection for breakfast. The apartment was clean, spacious and in a good location.

Great apartment, bad licality

The ost ( Patrizio) was excellent. He waited for us at the property ( I honk it is more of an Airbnb than a hotel). Good thing is that he lives close by. The physical location of the property is not great…. But the unit was excellent…. I thin the area around the train station in Rome has declined really badly… some one needs to do something for the businesses and the people…. It is deteriorating fast!

Location is great for Metro train. The elevator was out of service when we’re there and the place is on third Floor. Its quite a climb especially with luggages.

Spacious and comfortable

For us the location was very important the gentleman at the front desk is very helpful and took care of us the entire time we were there.

The hotel is in chinatown. Not the nicest place in Rome. Our room was not properly cleaned, still dusty everywhere. There was an ant infestation. The beds were really uncomfortable (you can feel the springs and the pillows were too thin). It wasn’t a pleasant stay.

A fantastic property with its own area for our kids, and separate level for us. Perfect for a family of 4. Great location, and lovely service.

We had an Amazing stay! There’s simply not enough words to express how great our stay was. Patrizio at the hotel was above and beyond. The location at this hotel being so close to the top attractions and being so close to the train line was simply phenomenal. We will definitely stay here when we return

Perfect place

Perfect place to stay with clean comfortable spaceous room and good service. Location just at the Metro station meant you could return late evening after enjoying a evening trip.

Great hotel!

Great hotel! Patrizio is wonderfully kind and helpful. Room is very large with a lot of space for unpacking your luggage, and is very clean with a lot of light. Very quiet room. No disturbing noise from the street below. Wonderful shower with plenty of hot water, and the beds were firm but comfortable. A delicious breakfast was delivered to our room each morning. You can walk from the Termini train station, or it’s just 1 stop via the Metro which is right outside the front of the hotel. Perfectly located within walking distance to most of the main places of interest. Great price for its central location!

Convenient for getting around Rome.

Older building with very small elevator. Hotel is on third floor. Great breakfast and beautiful view of Vittore Emanuel Square from our room. Directly in front of the Metro stop and just one stop from train station. Lots of great restaurants within walking distance. Patrick was cordial and accommodating. Bed was very firm. Bath had great water pressure and rainfall shower head.

This is a wonderful place to stay. Located not far from the downtown and it's possible to walk to all main attractions if you like long city walks. Otherwise, the metro line is right in front of the door. Room is clean, modern and has everything one may need. The owner is extremely helpful and attentive. I had a 3 nights stay and can't imagine it to go better. Thank you!

DVE Suite Rome, Italy

Even before we arrived Patrizio (Patrick) was helpful and informative with email contact. Great location within reasonable walking distance of all major monuments. Metro and bus stop right outside the apartment. Room was comfortable for our 3 night stay. Breakfast was generous and served upon request. Nothing was too much trouble for Patrick and his local knowledge, recommendations and guidance really helped. Allowed us to check out late without charge. Who does that? I wouldn’t hesitate in booking a stay there again!!

Close and convenient to all the great locations, room was super comfortable for a few nights stay and the breakfast was perfect

Early access to room was great and it was possible to check out later and use their breakfast room until time to head to airport. Aileen friendly and helpful. Plentiful varied breakfast. Spacious room with window looking to park.

Aileen was a wonderful host, she was very helpful and she prepared breakfast early for us the day of our check out. The hotel location is great, the metro is right outside the door and there are many little shops and restaurants close by. The only recommendation I have is to get a bigger sign outside, as we walked right by it on our first day.

The Room was excellent and the staff was excellent. The entry and location is not the best and it looks very poor but once you are inside the hotel you cannot fault it. However, that is typical of the hotels around this area. Being right next to the Metro was excellent and just for that it is worth it.

The building outside doesn't look great but once you get inside..wow..very ckean, comfortable, quite at night time.. breakfast very good every morning...Aileen was very helpful...and Patrizio the owner, very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place and if I ever go back to Roma I will stay there again...also great location!!! Couple blocks away from train station, Roma Termini..that will take you everywhere including the airport, Venice, Naples, Florence, etc

Rome for a few days

This place had excellent service, was conveniently located for all local travel and the room was very sufficient for two and clean. The young lady servicing the place was exceptionally helpful. The complimentary breakfast was very adequate. If I were to cite one negative it was the elevator which is ancient but that isnt their fault.

Great Europe destination

This was an amazing place to stay. The owners and the help did a amazing job. The hotel was clean, the breakfast was good,the air-conditioning worked which most of the time the air-conditioning in Europe does not work very good. The hotel was close to the train station and pretty close to all attractions.would definitely stay here again.

The properties facilities as you enter the building is very dounting but the room facilities were out of this world the pictures exceed what it looks like in reality, the cleanliness was superb. The hospitality was lovely and very welcoming and made you feel at ease. The location was in perfect walking distance for me for lots of historical thinks to go snd visit on your stay. The Colosseum is basically on your door step. The breakfast was delicious lots of choices to pick from.

Excellent location in the centre of Rome. Not too far of a walk from the Colosseum / Roman Forums area and there is a Metro station is outside the building to take you to the north of Rome and the Vatican. Staff where accommodating and the breakfast was great (amazing eggs!!). Strongly recommend.
