BTS STONE THROW AWAY
perfect location near bTs phra khanong station
Room was ok and like the 5th floor terrace. And the room cleaning girl that always smiled and looked at me was beautiful.
Lication is excellent, 200 m from BTS. Rooms are very small but clean. Lobby could have an upgrade. Simple breakfast with espresso coffee machine.
Cute boutique hotel
Comfortable enough but be warned this hotel is right next to the Sky Train. I was on the 4th floor and it was literally right outside my window which makes the whole building shake when it goes by. It’s also on the corner of a very busy intersection which makes for a very noisy night. It was fine for me because I had earplugs but I didn’t see any other reviews that mention this, so be prepared. Other than that, the staff is lovely, the location is convenient and comes with free breakfast.
Not worth the price. Very tiny room with limited ventilation, borderline claustrophobic. Amenities were below basic. Take about 25 minutes train ride to Nana plaza.
Staff are so nice. Hotel located in a good spot. Short walk to skytrain. 👍
Good location, friendly staffs
No complaint with the price paid. Basic hotel, good location (about 5mins walk to bts phra kanong), next to Family Mart (but it closes at 11pm nowadays). Hot shower not working on first day, but after telling the receptionist it was fixed the next day. Recommended to those travel with budget and want to still have a good stay.
Small but cosy
A small but really cosy hotel in middle of bangkok close to the rail link. Rooms are small but clean and the staff are really friendly. Inexpensive and very good value
Nice hotel but too much money for what it is
The area nice and the room comfortable but I think it’s too much money non window hotel and poor breakfast
Location, directly on Sukhumvit road and next to BTS
I did not like when the hotel receptionist tried to charged me additional 450 baht per day per additional guest. I have indicated that we are two adults and one child when I booked the hotel but there was no special note that I have to pay the additional charge upon check in. It was a surprise to me. After our long discussion, they have waived the fee and let me check in to make me happy. What an experience!
Small but cosy
Nice boutique hotel. Room a bit small but clean and tidy. Fast WiFi and excellent check in. Girls at front counter very friendly. Great location next to wishbeer. Will stay again
Hotel close to eateries and BTS station. Almost everything excellent except for me personally bed mattress was to firm. Breakfast was simple but adequate.
Good price for location
Hard beds and pillows, very weird dark lighting in rooms, noisy. Wifi was good and breakfast was better than expected for somewhere like this. Close to BTS and on the main road, just above a convenient store. Had it not been necessary to stay close to Ekamai BTS, I would not have booked this. There are better for about the same price around Bangkok, but it's a good price for the location
Great. Security and safe. Near to public train transport. Room size is reasonable for a Bangkok trip.
Nice!
Nice room, good location. Bed is comfy and room is clean. Hotel is located within few minutes walking to BTS station.
Good location, too bad about everything else
Very convenient to walk to BTS. That is the only positive I can think of. Negatives 1) Hotel is old and you can feel it. The entire building has a weird musky smell that permeates everywhere. 2) Room smells like bad bleach. There's an undeniable smell in the room that smells like a murder has just taken place and bleach was poured everywhere to cover the smell. 3) Noisy. Because it is beside the main road and the roads are not insulated, you will constantly be bothered by the traffic outside.
Nice place, near bits too. Easy to get the transportation
Nice hotel. It would be good if they provide hotel slippers and the lightings to be brighter. Use white lights better than yellow lights.. probably a mixture if both.
Bring a flashlight, tiny & extremely dark
Tiny room & had to share the bed with my friend. Great for vampires who are scared of any natural or artificial lights. Do not recommend & would not stay here again.
Value for money
They need to improve their breakfast quality. Other things else is worth the money. The best thing is BTS station is very close.
Close to BTS station. Reasonable price.
Good experience and will come back again. Room is clean. Staff is friendly.
The room light is so low. Need to increase light.
Room for short stay. Very small
Good location. Excellent area for bus. Bts. Food. Simple mall.
Lovely hotel and staff!
It was a lovely stay. Room was very comfy and quiet. The original room i was givin was in the front of the hotel facing Sukhumvit do it was a little noisy. Front desk was understanding and moved me to the back of the hotel. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Thank-you :)
Overnighter in BKK
Have stayed here before as it is convenient to Ekamai BTS station, the airport and is on Sukhumvit. There were some minor issues this time with the room (safe and wi-fi not working)..............but the staff were also very helpful in finding and storing some jewellery that we accidentally left behind.
Staff was friendly and helpful only problem was not much light in the room
not as crowded as any other place in the area.
Stylish accommodation on Sukhumvit
Clean, stylish and competitively priced. Right on Sukhumvit Rd, so traffic noise is noticeable.
Kind of hard to find, facility overall is a 3 1/2 , the staff was very helpful. I would stay there again.
Prefer Sukhumvit Soi 1 - 20
The hotel is okay but slightly run down. The room is not bright enough and bathroom is dirty. It's located near a BTS but it's far from the central area. Not as convenient so for travellers who are in Bangkok for shopping suggest to stay in the Central area if not will need to spend a lot of transportation.
A great stay in Bangkok
The room was very comfortable and stylish and in a great location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Clean towels were supplied daily during our stay. Breakfast was self served and very nice. Would definitely recommend to friends and family who wish to stay in Bangkok and I would definitely stay again on my next visit.
very convenient for shopping and skytrain station a minute walked
Nice and close to sky train
We love to stayed here because so clean and the best serviced on this trip in BKK
Very close to BTS
The noisiest place I've ever stayed!
I had a room on the front and it is so noisy it was impossible for me to sleep. There is insufficient sound proofing and the windows leak noise all over. It was like trying to sleep right next to a main road.
nice hotel in a crazy city.
Just a short walk from the train station. The staff couldn't be any nicer or helpful. We felt welcomed the moment we walked in. The room was clean and nicely decorated. They also accommodated us early which was a plus. The hotel is close to the bus station also, we were going to Cambodia the next day. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom big and clean. The hotel is close enough to all the clubs and malls but far enough to be away from the chaos that is Bangkok. In one word, perfect!
Dark and noisy room
Room very dark and very noisy.
Bed Bugs!
I canceled my stay here one night after it began. The ratings on all the sites seem great, which is why I chose the hotel. Boy was I wrong. My room was swarming with bed bugs. I didn't notice that until well into my first night, unfortunately. I woke up to find them crawling on my pillow, and spotted a couple in my toiletries bag the next day. With that many in the room, my luggage bags were doomed. In the morning I went down stairs to front desk to cancel the rest of my stay. Unfortunately, even though I explained the situation to them, they didn't seem to grasp the gravity of it and refused to refund any of my money -- even the nights that I hadn't stayed yet! Expedia couldn't get them to budge on the refund, either, despite the stated policy. I'm now covered in bites and have had to throw away ALL of my luggage -- a $1750 replacement cost! -- just to get rid of them. I strongly advise against staying here unless you want to bring bedbugs home with you. The ironic thing was that most of the reviews on the net are great. If I was a little more vigilant and searched for "Ds67 Suites + bed bugs," I would have found a pretty damning review and I would have completely avoided the hotel. There is absolutely nothing worse than finding out that bed bugs have nested in your luggage.
Customer not to be trusted
Our room was located in front and you can hear the road noise 24 hours . the staff was friendly, but during check out time we are being guarded by there security not to leave the building until your room was being inspected before they unlocked the front door lobby.
A Terrible experience!
Pro: 1 min to Phra Kanong BTS, from here you can go to On-Nut BTS to find Tesco Lotus (next to BTS) or to Big C by taking opposite side of Sukhumvit, about 500 meters and taking a turn. You can find cheap pharmacy here before Big C. Con: A/C is not even cool and room is tiny. Lighting is lit by 5W bulbs and you have to use your phone to light you way. It's the worst hotel for the price!
Pretty reasonable
Not quite as close to the centre of things as I'd been lead to believe, but overall a decent basic stay. Near the skytrain which helped and the distance from the major action centres was reflected in the price. Staff were friendly and helpful, and everything seemed pretty clean. The free breakfast was nothing to write home about
Not bad... less then 5min walk to mrt. but breakfast only bread, cereals, milk, tea , coffee and fruits. If the hotel less then S$50 will stay again.
Clean and basic
This hotel is fine for back packers but as middle aged women we would have preferred more home comforts such as softer bed, view of outside and a kettle to make tea and coffee. The staff were very helpful and brought us up a cup of tea but the coffee shop downstairs closes at 5pm.
Excellent Hotel
Excellent hotel, great location, and very friendly and helpful staff. I will definitely return.
Excellent Budget Hotel
Nice and clean budget hotel, only few minutes walk away from Phra Khanong BTS train station. Very friendly staff. You get basic cereals, juice, tea, cofee and fruit in the morning breakfast. Overall very happy with the stay and highly recommend to anybody on low budget.
Nice hotel close to Sky Train Station
Good experience overall. Small room with no Windows, but that does not bother me. Quiet room with good Wifi signal, which was important.
Facilities: Unpretentious; Value: Bargain; Service: Flawless; Cleanliness: Faultless;
Good but ...
Clean. Friendly staff. Very helpful. Great price. But ... Mosquitoes in room. I had a Deluxe room. Even though it had a window - it was very dark. Insufficient lighting. Not for business. Great as a couples hotel.
Great Value!
Close to the bus station 10 mins walk and Bts train, close to malls and restaurants. Rooms are clean and good. A bit of noise if your on the street facing rooms but not terrible. Continental breakfast is great Cannot beat this Value. The staff is friendly and helpful.
Nice basic hotel
Pros: clean room. very friendly staff even helped us plan a day trip around Bangkok. quiet area with no night life (if that's what you're looking for). security guard in front of hotel. Cons: sound proof is not very good and could hear everything from connecting room. might be better off in a room that's not next to the road.
Probably Wouldn't Return
The hotel was okay. There are only 27 rooms in the entire hotel, and its a very small, almost claustrophobic feeling building. There is no lobby. No area to really hang out. No restaurant. You just walk in and right to the check in table. I would definitely classify it more as a motel than hotel. And I'm really unsure why the word "suites" is in the title as none of the rooms even come remotely close to a suite. The rooms are small, very small. It is very clean, and cheap which are really the only upsides to it. There is no restaurant, only a little coffee place attached with limited hours. The service was okay. The staff at the front desk were very nice, but when I called for some toilet paper because I had run out, and bottled water, I was asked to come down and pick it up. Not what I would expect if I'm a guest at a hotel. Also they would only limit me to one toilet roll per day which was a little weird. They stop cleaning rooms at 3pm, so if your a late riser like me, this can be very inconvenient if you want things tidied up and fresh towels. The location is by the city monorail system which is a plus if you want to go anywhere. However the location itself is not very good as its not near any bars or nightlife. And for me that was important. Overall I wouldn't recommend this hotel to others, and next time I'll be looking somewhere else. A friend of mine stayed down the street at the Jasmine Hotel Resort and it was much nicer and better value for the money.
Very good value for money
Will come back again if I need to be in the area! + Friendly helpful staff + Clean new rooms. + Very close to BTS Sky train and Ekkamai Busstation. - Breakfast is simple but all necessary is there.
good clean room
Rooms small but clean. Overall good place to stay.
Facilities: Nice ; Value: Average price; Service: Respectful; Cleanliness: Pleasant;
A perfect hotel in a perfect location.
How I wish I had spend more than one night in this hotel. If ever I have to stay in Bangkok again, it will be here.
Nice little hotel close to BTS station
It takes few minutes walk to BTS station. The facilities were good, room was cozy and clean. Money well spent. Definitely would stay again for next visit
Nice mid-range hotel
Pros: Clean room, friendly staff, free breakfast (toast, coffee), next to skytrain Cons: room was a little small, water pressure was ok, but not very strong. Hot water was warm, but not hot. Internet was not working a few nights while I was there (usually fixed the next morning though). Location was good ,but would have been nicer to have been at a BTS station closer to downtown. Overall, a good deal for the price, but not luxury.
Good shopping area near sky train
Close to Sky train, area had good restaurants, stores for convenience items next door, staff pretty ok, breakfast is toast and jelly, milk and cereal, banana, apples, and coffee.
Funky, good hotel near the Skytrain
Stopped here for one night, the hotel was nice, the staff very pleasant and accommodating. The rooms are compact but as you would expect in Bangkok but more than sufficient. It is tucked a little way down Sukhumvit Rd but the Sky Train station is only a few hundred metres away and you can be pretty central in about 10 mins. I didn't like Bangkok overall, but the hotel was good. Breakfast is pretty basic, but if you like toast and cereal - this is your place! If you land at Sukhumvrani Airport then you can catch the Express train and then link to the Skytrain, cheaper and probably quicker than a taxi
3 star hotel with 5 star quality
The staff at this hotel work incredibly hard to ensure you have a wonderful stay. On Christmas Day they even bought me some cake, which I thought was a nice touch. The style and design of the rooms is very ambient. The included free massages were a pleasant extra service to experience. The hotel is extremely close to the BRT which makes commuting to other parts of the city a doddle.
Ds67 suits
This hotel is right on Sukhumvit Rd. about a block from the Praka Nong, sky train station. Room was clean and new but dark because no window. I was very happy there and will stay there again. Good value for money. The staff was very friendly.
Facilities: basic; Value: Fair price; Service: limited;
Breakfast's very simple - grab and go continental breakfast
Cute, comfortable, clean hotel
I stayed in ds67 for 5 nights at the end of a trip across south east asia. The staff was very friendly (giving me free Thai tea while I waited for them to check my reservation status) and the room was decorated like it was from an ikea catalog (a good thing in my book). They had a security guard outside the hotel at night (who was also very friendly) and had safes in the room. The whole hotel had a sleek, clean, but still cozy feel to it.
Very nice option in Bangkok
Nice place, clean, comfortable and modern and with good prices. Breakfast could be a little more generous. Very close to sky train and metro, like 30m or so. Totally recommended.
Good value
Good location next to BTS... nice room. Breakfast was a little sparse but ok. Would stay there again.
Hotel Stay
Breakfast was too basic, no variety. Only toast n small cup of cornflakes plus banana n apple. Bathroom sink was slightly choke n not much action taken after informing front office. Front office staff was friendly, courteous n helpful. Location was very close to Bts(Phra Khanong), 2 minute walk which was convenient. Surrounding area has no eating place or stalls for late night supper. Overall high average stay for such pricing.
Central location but extremely basic
Very central location but the air conditioning was not working properly which made for a very uncomfortable night. The breakfast was self-service with a choice of toast (which you had to toast yourself) or fruit - quite poor.
Good value, but could improve
A decent place to stay. Low cost and convenient to BTS. The area is not touristy - which is a plus or minus depending on what you are looking for. Breakfast was quite simple but free. Poor choice of TV channels
cosy, small, nice hotel
very clean beautiful cosy hotel. but the room is very clean, the place is lovely, the staff are very nice. it's small, the breakfast is basic. the room is small, the window doesn't open on the road.so if you want something spacious, it's not what u're looking for. but the location is good, next to the BTS, very easy to find and easy to get around till midnight when the BTS close,at night, it's a little bit far from the night life.
In bustling Bangkok, this is a quiet, little oasis just a few minutes walk from the BTS Skytrain Phra Khanong (E8) station. We received a warm welcome, settled into our small, comfortable room, and received excellent advice from the staff on where to eat, travel timetables, and even help flagging down taxis. We even decided to stay again on our way home back through Bangkok :)
Great hotel, would definitely stay again!
Love at first sight with this hotel. Located about 2 blocks away from the BTS station and walkable to the Sukumvit Soi 38 night food market and the Gateway Mall at Ekamai. Room was kept spotlessly clean all the time. Staff were always super friendly and helpful. Morning breakfast was small but sufficient- toast, cereal, fruit, and a great coffee machine. Fabulous air conditioning, in-room safe for peace of mind, computer for use in lobby. Will definitely stay here again next time in Bangkok!
A lovely little place. Close to the train station. Most of the staff was nice and friendly.
Great stay at Ds67 Hotel
So many hotel choices in the Land of Smiles so why did I choose this one? My considerations were 1) how new was the hotel, 2) size of the room 3) price and 4) location. The description said it was built in 2011 and it definitely felt new and clean. The size of the room was fine so no issues there. The price was great...value for money. Free WiFi, coffee maker in the lobby also made cafe latte, hot cocoa and even cappuccino I think. Also very close 3 minutes walk to the skytrain station which from that point really gives you great access to the whole city. For new visitors to Bangkok, this makes navigating the city soooo easy. Almost forgot to mention the superb and friendly staff plus security guard at the front door starting around 10pm. I would stay there again.
Close to public transport
I am very satisfied. The staff is very polite & helpful.
Hidden gem
I've stayed here many times now. Love the place. Friendly staff, lovely clean and bright rooms, decent WiFi, handy location to BTS station and good price. ATM and 7/11 just next door. Good massage place only 2 doors down. The proof is, I just keep coming back.
Equivalent to a hostel with privacy
The staff were nice, helpful, and good enough with English. They also weren't bothered one iota by gay travelers. The location is fairly decent - there isn't a lot (entertainment, food, anything) within walking distance, but the SkyTrain is no more than a block away, and the main gateway to the rest of Bangkok. This is also by no means on the outskirts of the city either as you remain well in the hustle and bustle. As for our rather lackluster review: the breakfast was lacking however, as it was literally bananas, apples, and toast. We also felt that there were charges made to our room that were not announced upfront or openly. The main concern is the bed. It seemed as if we were actually sleeping on the spring box itself, and I had back pain each morning, as I could not get comfortable. I like firm mattresses but this was beyond compare. In short, it was very good value and there was nothing outright horrendous, but other options could be considered for similar prices.
Rooms without view
The staff was friendly, the room clean, but very small and had NO window. Close to Train.
Nice Comfy Hotel
I found this hotel to be very pleasant. The Staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are a little small but very clean and modern. The lighting in the rooms are dimmed and there is no way to adjust it which could be a little distracting if you are a person who likes to read. It is very conveniently located to the BTS which is nice and not too far from Ekamai Bus Station for those who are interested in taking a trip to Pattaya via bus. The rooms are all non-smoking but there is a very welcoming roof terrace where guests are allow to go and have a cigarette. All rooms have free wifi which allows you to stay connected to only one device which I found a little annoying because I have to choose either to stay connected on my macbook or my ipad. Last but not least, in order to get into the lobby of the hotel to get to your room you have to buzz in every time which is perhaps the most negative aspect of my experience staying at Ds67. Overall, the hotel is great!
Hotel d67 suites in Sukhumvit
I paid too much for a room wich was very small and without any breakfast. The hotel is located far away from the center and there is only a small convinience store near. So if you want a dinner in the night, you have to move until the next station... Anyway, the staff is very kind and helpful. Restroom are clean.
An awesome stay at DS67
Its near a BTS station and its very convenient to travel to other places. The staff are very polite. The room is quite clean. But they lack of common things provided at other hotels like in-room slippers, toothbrush, but thats fine.
Good Service
The hotel location is not very good. But it is near by BTS station. Room facility still fine. Service is very nice and comfortable.
Great Location
I really enjoyed my stay @ Ds67. I stayed for one night when I arrived but cancelled my 2nd night for fear of the floods. I stayed another two nights before I left. Lovely staff - great perk - free internet anytime! Just one critism - my first room was very dark - I suggest better lighting! I was very happy when I returned as I got a room with a window - at least there was more light! Great place for breakfast just a few doors up the street McCoffee - bakery and fantastic latte - great value!
Nice family run hotel
Booked this hotel for first few nights before travelling to Singapore.Very nice, family hotel, room small but clean.Nice coffee bar downstairs with great sandwiches when you just can't have any more of great Asian food. Not so close to busy part of Sukhumvit Road, but very close to Skytrain.
my room has air fresher smell which makes me dizzy. Plus, the hot water is cold....even i adjust the temp to the maximum. But the bed is comfortable. I book this hotel because it is close to bus terminal only. I don't think it worth that money
The hotel receptionists are all
The hotel receptionists are all very friendly, helpful and knowledgable. The free Wi-Fi connection is very smooth while surfing the web from my own room. Location is awesome as advertised, a 1 minute walk you get to reach Pra Khanong BTS station.
The DS67 workers are very friendly,
The DS67 workers are very friendly, and will to help answer any travel questions in BKK. The hotel is not central location in BKK, but safe and very closed to Phra Kanong BTS station which is easy to go markets to shop. If you like to shop and stay in quiet hotel. It is a great choice.
it is great location and easily
it is great location and easily commute any places by BTS. The surrounding in the night is quiet and safe. The room is cozy and clean. If you do not want to live next to night market, it is a great choice to stay.
We stayed at DS67 in March this
We stayed at DS67 in March this year & found the Hotel staff polite friendly and very helpful. The room although small was clean & tidy. It is close to a few restaurnats ,the BTS train station and Bus Station to go to Pattaya etc .There is a convenient store right next door to them that can come in real handy. The breakfast was set, but talk to the staff if you wanted a slight change. It is an excellent small hotel that is value for money and would be happy to stay again.
Great Staff
I absolutely loved this small darling boutique hotel. It is centrally located to everything. I loved their little cafe shop that served the best cappincino and lattes. Moreover I would like to thank the outstanding staff Grace and Ratchada for the help and making our short stay soooo pleasant. We love Bangkok and Ds67!
DS67
Hotel staff are very friendly especially the manager and the receptionist. They even gave us detailed instructions on how to get to the Grand Palace and shopping areas near Siam BTS. The room is quite small but this wasn't an issue at all because we only stay there at night to rest and sleep.
UNBELIEVABLE!!!
Thank you Ds67 Suites!!! It was the best fare ever! And the hotel was clean and neat! The coffee shop they have is just great! Real close to the subway!!! It even included Breakfast for the unbelievable fare we found!!! Please if you plan to travel to Bangkok evaluate it and book it!!! The staff is just amazing!!!
Of the beaten path
From the reviews I have been reading about this hotel, it seems fairly over-rated. It is a fair hotel, and over-priced for the area. Rooms are dark and it is annoying to have to ring a bell everytime you want to enter or exit. Average in every way.
Great little boutique hotel at the far end of Sukhumvit
I enjoyed my stay at the Ds67 very much. My room, bed linen and bathroom were spotlessly clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. I found being at the far end of Sukhumvit not to be a problem at all as travel into the rest of the city was fast and cheap using the BTS Sky Train and Phra Khanong station was only two minutes walk from the hotel. The Ds67 was unique in it's décor and my room (on the opposite side to Sukhumvit) was quiet and sleep quality was good. I found overall that the DS67 was good value for money and highly recommend it, my only caveat being that the breakfast area can be a tad noisy as it is on the roof top on Sukhumvit Road with the BTS Sky Train passing within about twenty or thirty metres.
Friendly Staff, Nice service.
Friendly Staff, Nice service. Recommended!!
Satisfied
The idea of the hotel (environment etc.), the location near skytrain station - very convenient. Saved money a lot, very reasonable price. Not far from Suvarnabhumi airport, only 20 min by toll way.
Ds67 Suites | Hotel in Bangkok | Travala.com
Very convenient place close to all facilities: stores, restaurants, massage parlors...and one minute walk distance from BTS station. The stuffs are very friendly.
