Was a good place just that the beds were uncomfortable and the smell there wasn’t the best

No cameras on hallways, two people had a domestic dispute and were arguing all night. Notified the staff and came a few minutes later. After they left the dispute continued.

The room were nice! Our key keep deactivating which made us have to continue to go back and forth to the frontdesk. All and all the stay was good.

The area is a great area—however, I had to check out a day early because of the noise from the neighbouring rooms and the planes landing at the airport.

The location of the property was nice. Right on the beach.

Unfortunately our room smelled bad like dirty feet and it lingered around for the 2 nights. Also someone was smoking pot or CBD outside and the smell came into our room at night time it was bad. The rooms communicate with doors and you can literally hear everything next door. The breakfast food was expensive and not good. We would never stay there again.

No signage when we arrived - had to call the property to find out where to check in. Digital room key was great, having to also carry a key card for the elevator wasn't. Room was generally clean, but the floor needed a real mopping.

Old infrastructure but our room was clean and plenty of towels.

Right under the landing path for MB airport. Toilet didn’t flush properly. Parking was exposed & not handy. Incredible sunrises.

Inconvenient. View of trailer park across the street. View of ocean over the uncovered, littered, rusting AC and Generator area. Small bathroom separated from the sink by a stupid wall. White paint on the green border of the mirror. Screws sticking out of the bathroom wall. AC front coming detached from unit. Rusting balcony. No screen door to balcony. No mirrors in a garage not wide enough for two cars. Planes flying over. Barking dogs. NO sofa or comfortable chair. Tiny table not big enough for two laptops and only two uncomfortable chairs. ONE standing lamp. CRUMBS FROM PREVIOUS GUEST IN BED. And someone has the audacity to call this a RESORT?!!

Not what I expected from staying at other doubletree resorts. Our room was kinda dirty. The floor had hair on it and some other things. The bathroom was clean tho and the sheets was clean.

Getaway Trip

The room was absolutely comfortable. The view from the room was absolutely stunning. Had a great time. Will be back soon.

It was right on the beach! Room was very clean but a little dated. We could not charge our phones as the room has no USB chargers. It is a little confusing to check in because check- is not on the ground floor. We also had a little trouble finding our room. We did not feel like anything was clearly marked to find your way.

desk and cleaning staff were extremely friendly. the room is slightly outdated and could use a dusting. The sheets had stains on them. Water pressure is great. Super welcoming to dogs. Wouldn’t mind staying here again as long as the sheets don’t have stains.

I didn’t like having to pay for parking for every day.

My hotel stay was amazing until I realized there was an ant infestation. Ants were on the dresser, couch and behind the couch. Other than the ant issue everything else was great!

Nice stay. My only complaint is that we had to ask for housekeeping to provide service for our room.

Come for barber show

We stayed one night for a wedding. I booked an oceanfront room. We were put in a room where you could barely see the ocean because it was low floor and set way back on a roof behind the pool area. Also we saw some bugs in the room when getting ready to check out. The stay was just ok. Thanks.

Not up to Hilton standards huge cockroaches in rooms staff were very slow and not very accommodating. Don’t recommend just as cheap to stay at the ocean 22.

Several heated pools and outdoor lounge areas throughout property leaving many choices to enjoy the ocean view and beachfront.

The property is probably fine. But I had to divert from coming to Myrtle and Expedia wouldn’t let me cancel, so I had to eat the cash for a room I never saw. Great resort, but disappointed that I could recoup nothing based on cancelling from necessity within an hour of booking. Live and learn.

It was good the room looked beautiful and had a great view the check in failed to let us know the $100 fee added he just said it’s in case of damages and will be refunded. But another man said it is charged and the room was not swept properly there was dirt and left over rose petals from another persons stay but other than that it was great

Somethings I wish I knew before booking , this hotel is a ways from the strip , however the pools especially the lazy river over looking the ocean is one of the best views. I was told upon check in that there would be complementary breakfast, but upon asking the front desk the next morning I was told otherwise and the double tree stated they couldn’t accommodate what I was previously told. Which was frustrating overall because I made no error they did. Overall the stay was comfortable but I won’t be returning . Service is everything for me .

Dirty Wash cloth was left in bathtub from previous stay.

You had to walk 1/8 of a mile for Room, Service,Entertainment toiletries, feont dest. No golf carts were offered as this is against doubletree polcies. The smell of trash, walking to entertainment

Booked an oceanview room. The view and proximity was very good. Hotel looks old from outside but was clean inside.

The staff was absolutely wonderful.

The price for what you get is not worth it. Needs up keep and maintenance. No wash cloths, no sink in the bathroom. Noisey. Very noisey. Beds are comfortable and the curtains almost act like black out curtains which is great!!!

Great staff, beautiful room love the fact that there's no carpets anywhere. Great pools accessibility to the beach, awesome view the pluses are great as well. The only negative is the put put park needs attention.

Hotel was clean, but checkin was a bit confusing and took quite a while with only 2 people at the desk. When we got to the front we were immediately asked for an upsell to a different room with a “better view”- note ours was just fine and $80 for a floor or two up wasn’t worth it. They were perfectly polite however and offered us cookies…which sent a flag to someone in “memberships” to immediately approach us on “ways to save”. We were only staying for the night until our rented house was ready and we aren’t interested in memberships or timeshares. She was extremely pushy to boot and we were immediately turned off. The downside was that we were charged $40 and the website said it was a $25 resort fee, so I’m not really sure what they up charged us for and I can’t get anyone on the phone to explain it. We likely won’t book again because of this.

We really enjoyed our stay! The only complaint is that the rooms weren’t mopped or dusted prior to our arrival. Overall, a great experience and would be back!

This property has been remodeled in the past two years. Rooms are updated and one of the pools is now a “water park” with 3 pretty legit slides. Access to the pier is free and the hotel property is large. Free mini golf too- though the course is worn out it’s still convenient free and fun. Good place to stay with kids.

The beach is, for most people, probably the biggest draw. But there are also several great swimming pools here. The hotel offers games and activities for guests. It is a short drive to lots of shopping and other activities. And all of the staff members I encountered here were very helpful, I would definitely come back here!

There is so much to do right here at this hotel! Aside from the amazing beach, there are several wonderful pools, indoor and outdoor. The hotel offers games like ping-pong and miniature golf. The property is super close to shopping and other activities. I am also very impressed with the fantastic service provided by all staff members. Excellent!

A great place

The service was great and rooms were very clean. The kids had a great time on the beach and in the pools. Parking was great. I will definitely be going back again. I give them all AAAA’S

Checking in was a little confusing with the three hotels there being combined into one checkin area. Our room was really cool, but the floor had a sandy feel and we had to have it cleaned again. The staff was quick to respond. Being oceanfront was really nice. The pools and lazy river were really cool.

I stayed for a quick one day stay and I enjoyed the overall experience of the hotel. From cleanliness, to view, to staff. I was very pleased with my stay.

Room checkin

Room was not ready at checkin time even over a hour after. Said would be awhile so they have me a room on a lower floor less than what I paid for as I was traveling with a dog and couldn’t wait longer for a room.

Ocean View 2 Queen Beds

It was a great stay. Great renovations but the set up of the room seems to be off. Check in was faster but the directions aren't clear. We had no wash clothes and the floors were were wet. The toilet ran all the time. The refrigerator was very small. The hotel still has no jacuzzi. Nice ocean view and accessible to the beach.

The property was dirty in my building no air in the elevator the rooms were to small the bed was very small my feet’s was hanging out the bed I thought I was getting a very nice roomy room but I wasn’t that

The rooms were older but remolded and clean. We stayed in the last building which was in path with of landing planes so they were pretty close and you could hear them, though once I was in bed I did not hear them so it was kind of cool to see them so close. The main lobby area and restaurant is very nice. Overall enjoyed our stay and probably would stay again

Property was nice, rooms not very clean. Ours was very dusty! Check in was quick, but they didn't explain alot of what was available, ie., coffee in the morning, breakfast, etc. Pools were very clean and loved that it was right on the ocean. Not sure how often they are suppose to clean rooms, but always had to ask for extra towels, toilet paper and tissues. When we checked in didn't even have enough to start. Rooms need to be updated.

We loved the fact that it was right on the beach. Just a Great place to stay!

Due to construction on the property our room was not available and we were not told until checkin. They sent us to a hotel away from the beach near the airport where they had not properly set up the room and we had to wait another 2 hours to move into the room. Still waiting on a refund for the day lost. The manager on duty was not apologetic or polite during that process.

Check in was a long wait. I recommended to anyone reading this review. Get a digital key.

Family time

The check-in staff was very friendly & kind explained everything I needed to know. While there I noticed tgere were staff smoking outside while working although it was early & no guests around I do belive it a non smoking hotel. We did have a problem with the air-conditioning & Ron(which was great) from maintenance came checked it It started cooling but by the late night hours it was HOT, we enjoyed the pools & amenities. We will definitely come back & recommend this Hotel

Bait and Switch - We didn't get our suite

When we got to the hotel, we were immediately notified that the suite that we booked wasn't available. I specifically book that suite for a reason and then they put us in connecting rooms. Not what I wanted. I paid almost $420 dollars for a suite and didn't get a suite. The hotel said they would work to refund me half the money, but I haven't seen that happen. I would have never stayed at this place if I knew I wasn't getting the suite. Very, Very disappointed.

Would have liked to see housekeeping refresh towels and empty baskets every day, plus add more water. Location overall is good and I’d stay again. Appeared they are changing to Doubletree so some things are in the works.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS SO-CALLED RESORT

This stay was extremely disappointing. When we arrived one entire building was under construction and two pools were unavailable. Check in was across the street and there was no one to help with luggage. The room was mediocre at best and the shower still had small hairs in it. The property has access to a public beach but they provide no beach towels, chairs, or umbrellas - the standard fare for any beachfront resort. The conference facilities were extremely bare bones. The casual restaurant had a very limited menu and was not able to even provide all the listed options. I can’t believe they had the nerve to charge a $25 per night resort fee and all they provided was internet and a pool - amenities you can get at any low-price motel. DoubleTree should be ashamed to have this hotel in their portfolio. I felt like I was at a run-down Howard Johnson’s. I do not recommend this hotel.
