The hotel is walking distance to the Haram, however it’s on a steep hill so not convenient for young children and elderly. The shuttle bus runs every 10 minutes which is very convenient but then you have to take a lift and a bit of a walk to Haram.Overall the hotel is immaculate, they gave us an upgrade which was really helpful, clean spacious rooms, amazing staff, lovely continental breakfast with a lot of choices. There’s a cafe and food court nearby. Will definitely recommend. Thank you Hilton Doubletree 😊

Hotel was very clean and tidy with excellent decor and facilities. Rooms were superb, especially the bathrooms and twin beds were given as requested. The restaurant was fantastic with the restaurant manager (Ahmed) and his wonderful staff attending to all our needs - especially the soft boiled eggs! Thanks you all so much.

The hotel was modern. The view from the room is magnificent and the shuttle bus was quite convenient. However, we had to remind housekeeping to bring enough towels.

We liked the help and quick response from the serving and cleaning staff at the breakfast place. Very dedicated, freindly and hospitable staff at the breakfast area unlike the the front reception staff.

No parking available despite stating

I came here for a spiritual practise of umrah with my children for the first time. But upon arrival the valet refused to park my car, then on check in I was told there is no parking in the hotel I would have to seek neighbouring hotels. Given I was in the state of ihram it was extremely stressful to complete this and ended up paying £150 for 3 days parking and wasted 2 hours of my umrah

It would have been nice if they have shuttle that ran more frequently. We would always use the shuttle for the hotel across the street.

Pleasant stay at doubletree Hilton

The hotel is in an excellent location, just a 5-10 minute walk to Masjid al-Haram. We also had a partial view of Masjid al-Haram, which was a great feature. However, the room conditions appeared visibly tired, and we felt the room rates were high considering the state of the accommodations. The hotel’s room service was excellent, and the staff were helpful. The bed was very comfortable, but the air conditioning did not work properly during our stay. Additionally, some amenities, such as a hair dryer, were missing from the room.

I like this hotel, we have enjoyed our stay as a family to do uhmrah. The hotel is providing a shuttle to the Haram that helps us alhamedllah to make the prayer on time at the haram. We will stay at this hotel inshaAllah next time to visit Makkah.

We spent the best 4 nights feeling the spiritual and religious atmosphere, and the hotel has a role in providing all available means of transportation with a luxurious breakfast restaurant.

Over priced for the services

Close to the Haram.

The staff was excellent especially Mr. Saddam Husain and Mr. Abdul Kareem Khan provided excellent service during breakfast time.

My stay was for 3 nights. The standout feature of this hotel is the reception staff—they are helpful, supportive, and cheerful, ensuring the customer feels comfortable when seeking assistance. The condition of the room upon check-in was excellent.

Overall experience was very good

Some staff incompetent. Others not very pleasant or willing to help. Food at cafeteria below average but not cheap. Won't stay here next time.

Conveniently located close to the Haram (7 mins walk), also shuttles are always available. My room had a fantastic Haram view on the 28th floor. Super clean, friendly staff and an excellent breakfast (between 6:30 and 10:30am). My stay was perfect!

Excellent stay for Umrah. Close to Masjid, 24 hr frequent shuttle service, never had to wait. Was upgraded to a twin suit on 27th floor with beautiful view. House keeping service was very quick when asked for toilet papers or anything. Breakfast was really good. Should provide some varieties, gets boring if you stay for 4/5 days. Highly recommended

Fantastic hotel to eat and rest after umrah

When you go for umrah this hotel is exactly what you need. It had the most luxurious and comfy bed and bathroom I've ever stayed in. The room was very large and closet had ample space for ahram and other clothes. The bathroom had two shower options to choose from, the rain shower was much fuller and heavier than I've experienced before. The only issue was that the shower door didn't close properly so every time we showered water came out all over the floor but we had enough towels to soak it. 2 restaurants available to choose from. The breakfast buffet included desi, Arabic and continental options with live eggs/omelettes and excellent tasting coffee! It was the best hotel breakfast buffet I've seen and well worth getting. Service at all points was excellent. We ate in the other cafe every night when we came back and there was a wide variety of room service options available but we didn't order it. The cafe had enough variety for very filling and delicious 3 course meal both nights we were there. The burger was slightly overcooked but all other Arab Italian dishes were really good as well as the dessert. The shuttle service is quick and drops you off near the Conrad so you just take the lift down to haram. You come out almost in front of the umrah gates so very convenient. I went to haram at all times and never had to wait longer than 10mins for the shuttle. Overall excellent ambience, food, service and the most comfy mattress I've ever slept on, I didn't want to leave!

not so good experience. It was freezingly cold and temp was not controllable through thermostat. They were unable to fix and ultimately had to turn it off and spent night without ac.

Professional, friendly

Perfect location to walk to Haram about 5 minutes.

Check in was very fast and efficient. Our room was clean and spacious. The location is perfect for walking to Haram. There is a bus available frequently if you choose not to walk. For those with limited mobility Jabal Omar is a mountain range so there is a slight incline returning to the hotel. I loved the Adthan being streamed into the rooms. Despite the hotel being full the rooms were quite, great soundproofing. Breakfast was good, buffet style with a good range of options. Staff friendly and very helpful. Had the evening buffet 1 night, great salad and pizza... but only 1 meat choice. No fish or chicken choices maybe the menu needs re-evaluating. Cafe downstairs had a good selection of options for an evening meal. Quick service, good portion sizes and great value for money. I advise to share the rice portion it was really big. We've stayed before and will definitely come back.

Lovely and walkable to haram. Roadworks and do had to get shuttle bus which was a pain as not informed when booking the hotel.

Great staff! Definitely will come again the next time I do Umrah! Accommodating front desk staff. Breakfast is great! Every one is helpful and polite.

Wonderful stay

Alhumdulillah very convenient to Haram and very friendly and mature staff. Maintenance staff also very kind and. Does the work very well. Stayed at the double bed suite, amazing place to stay with reasonable price. Breakfast is absolutely amazing with great and kind staff. U don’t want to miss that.

Loved my stay here. It was a 5 minute walk to the Haram but they have a shuttle running every 2-4 mins. It was clean and staff was very nice. I felt safe to go back and forth on the shuttle by myself. I would definitely go back to this hotel!

I recommend this hotel , amazing staffs and helpful, I had issues on the beginning on my reservation so I didn’t get what I have booked but receptionist did her best and gave me the room that I choosed the next day. Shuttles are available every 5min to Haram and back to hotel. Enjoyed my trip to Makkah Thank you everyone.

Excellent hotel with great facilities. The restaurant manager was extremely polite and helpful. Unfortunately we had to wait longer than 20 mins for reception to check in. Even when served, for any other query we had to wait in the queue which added to the overall time for full check in. Despite being told we had a late check in this didn’t happen and we had to again wait in reception for longer than 10 mins to get the key activated again.

Amazing hotel

The hotel was amazing , clean spacious , luxurious The suite was spacious and the view was very nice Restaurant was excellent, big variety of food and the service was great The overall stay was exceptional and we enjoyed very much However , I’d advice elderly residents to have companions because the constructions makes it a bit harder to reach the Haram they don’t let the shuttle to go inside , hopefully constructions will end soon

Housekeeping is very poor. We have to request everyday 4 the rooms to be cleans, tea cups are not washed or positioned nicely, toiles essentials such as hand soaps etc are only replaced once for the 9 days we stayed there and. even the one time was at my request, sheets and pillow cases are not changed even if they are stained, towels also not changed.

On the positive side excellent location and very nice surroundings. Helpful staff as a whole. On the negative side my room was not cleaned up over the three nights I stayed there and because I had to check out before breakfast time the duty manager couldn’t arrange for me a cup of coffee before leaving (l already paid for breakfast)

great hotel, great staff, very clean but, if you looking easy access to Haram, it was not feasible for us. it was hard on a hot days taking a shuttle back and forth from hotel to haram and back. i will not be staying at this hotel next time.

Over all it was good

I enjoyed my stay at Double Tree by Hilton Makkah Jabal Omar. My stay was for seven days and breakfast was included. The staff was very friendly and kind. They had a variety of options for the breakfast buffet. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to my family and Friends.

It’s a nice to have a microwave oven in every room.

Excellent, and would definitely stay there again, God willing. They are working on improving the surrounding area even more, additional stairs and elevators are being built for more convenient access to the holy site.
