Rome B&B

Great B&B for our first stay in Rome. Clean, comfortable room for an affordable price. Would stay there again!

Toella was a fantastic host. The location is perfect and the price is amazing for what you get. This is my go to place when I come back to Rome

AirBnb is centrally located and is an easy walk to a lot of the tourist attractions. Area is busy enough without it being crowded. Lots of nice shop & restaurants. There is really nothing that I could fault them on.

I really have no complaints about this property. Air conditioning in the rooms, a dedicated shelf in the refrigerator, a well-appointed kitchen if you feel like cooking. New pillows and a good breakfast would have made this a 5 star review.

The room and bathroom were spacious, and clean, ans the staff all really friendly and helpful. The shower head needs replacing as it was a dodge to get wet! We expected there to be tea and coffee facilities in the room but there was just a kettle, so we bought our own stuff and used the cups from the kitchen. Breakfast seemed overpriced at 10eur per prson for cereal and toast, but again we bought our own stuff. Each room has it's own shelf in the fridge so we were able to buy milk, fruit and food to cook. A fridge in the room would have made it easier as the communal dining area was small.

The rooms were spacious. The shower was a bit tight for my partner but we managed. The lady who ran the b&b was very freindly. Bed was a bit uncomfortable for me and my partner as was quite firm. Loads of stairs as was right on top floor. But had a small lift which we used regularly. Would recommend as in a great part of the city for Vatican and food.

The rooms nor the kitchen do not look exactly like the pictures. There is much less lighting and much smaller then expected. The room is cluttered with all this furniture which makes the space that much smaller. The front desk is not there more than a few hours a day. You can hear noise on the other side of your door clearly which makes for a less private experience. Our room was directly in front of the front desk where you check-in only 3 meters away. We would hear every word of every conversation clearly. Having said that, the room does have a clean bathroom and clean sheets, which is all we needed for 1 day stay. It is out of the touristy areas but close to the Vatican. That's part of why we chose it. The bathroom was an ok size, but shower was way too small. Although on the 5th floor, there is a tiny 'lift' to take up 1 person a piece of luggage at a time. The english is very limited although the owner does try to help as much as he can. He did hold onto our luggage after check out as requested. I would not recommend this hotel for longer than 1-2 days.

Great value

Was great value for money and the facilities were good. A short walk to the Vatican and only a few minutes from Ottaviana metro station to get to the other tourist sights. The only downside was we ran out of toilet paper and they didn't leave us a spare. That aside, we really enjoyed our 3 night stay there and would definitely recommend it

I had a short stay at day by day and definitely recommend staying here. The position is great, very close to the Vatican and the subway. The lady that welcomed me was super helpful and very kind. My bed and my room were very comfortable and actually pretty big, especially for Rome! And the price was perfect.

Short break in Rome - Excellent hotel

Ideally located for sightseeing in Rome, very close to the Vatican City. A very warm welcome when we arrived at the hotel and the staff were very helpful in ensuring that we had a good time and also helped ensure that our airport transfer was organised when we were leaving. The room was excellent and the bed was very comfortable.

The host was very friendly, and though the space itself was nice and very clean, it was very noisy. There was a gap in our door to the common area/kitchen and you could hear everything happening, from cooking to people buzzing the bell.

Amazing! Best location, price and room you can get! The owners were lovely and recommended some great places to eat! So thrilled would definitely come back - thank you!

Close to the Vatican and shops

Great experience for a first time in Italy, the food was great lots of history to see.

Convenient place -- 10-minute walk to Vatican

Maurizio was very helpful at check-in. He showed us great routes to take around the city and also took time to explain the amenities available in the guest house, which included free use of the kitchen and utensils as well as fresh oranges to make fresh orange juice with! (They have a juicer). This is more of a guest house/ bed and breakfast than a hotel, which we loved since it had a home feel to it.

A home away from home near the Vatican

This B&B is one of the most pleasant place I've ever been in Rome. As a Roman born Italian-American I was pleasantly surprised to discover that my native city still offers accommodations like this one that combine quality, service and price in a high demand neighborhood like the Vatican area. Owner Gabriella Guantini and his son were extraordinarily professional, friendly and helpful and did everything to make our stay a perfect one. We will definitely be back . And by the way, the morning Nespresso cappuccino was exquisite.

Home away from home in Rome!

This place is ran by an incredible family that do everything possible to make the guest at home, friendly staff, great location, super clean, if I ever go back to Rome I don't have to look for anything else, simply awesome!

Great Accomodations Make Stay in Rome Wonderful!

We came in to Rome, from the airport, on the bus that the Day By Day ownership had told us about. Direct with no stops before ours. Then a short walk to accomodations. Son was there to let us in and explained everything we needed to know for our 3 night stay. We saw the ownership each day when they were doing their cleaning so if we had any questions it was easy.

Great base for visiting Vatican sites

There are four rooms on this fifth floor B&B, ours was clean and had shower facilities as well as a very comfortable bed. The room also has air co (very welcome) and TV. There is open access to a kitchen which has a kettle,Microwave,fridge and all the facilities needed. The kitchen is shared with all of the rooms which is great as there are people from all over the world staying here and it was nice to met them. The owner Tiziana was really friendly and made our stay quite a joy, her command of several languages is excellent as she was able to easily comunicate with all of us. Our flight left late in the day, Tiziana allowed us to leave our travelling cases in the locked apartment until it came time for us to leave. Tiziana's assistant,Nat, was great help too, helping bring our cases in upon arrival and helped us greatly when we left. I would recommend this B&B to anyone who wants easy access to Vatican City and to transport links to the rest of the city. There is a street a short distance away which is full of good eating places (although as you get nearer the Vatican the quality wanes and the prices rise!) Tiziana is a chef and can give recommendations for the best places to eat.

Close to Vatican, but that's about it.

The Day by Day was in a great location near Metro and Bus stops. It is also a 5 minute walk to the Vatican and within walkable distance to Piazza Novanna, Spanish Steps, and Trevi Fountain. Not sure quite how long it takes since we walked around the city looking and stopped to take pictures in multiple locations. The room itself is decent. The bed had an obnoxious squeak every time you even took a breath. If you are sensitive to noise this may not be an ideal location because it is on a noisy street. The shower and bathroom according to Italian standards was normal/average. Not the cleanest and your room does not get cleaned every day and you keep the same towels your whole stay. Besides the early morning no staff is there. It is basically an apartment with a shared kitchen. The breakfast is mediocre compared to other hotels we stayed at in Italy. Juice, coffee, milk, some cereal and toast.

A few days away for my mum's 70th

Tiziana was very helpful with her directions from the station & her overall friendliness & hospitality. The room was fairly basic but for the price it was worth it. Breakfast was basic & of a self service nature. The rooms were only cleaned upon arrival with no more fresh towels. The location of this bed & breakfast was second to none with only a short walk to the Vatican. I would defitely consider staying agsin if I were in town!

City centre Apartment

The owner, Tiziana was very friendly & helpful esp helped us to locate our lost luggage due to our flight delay( unfortunately we only got our luggages after our 12days of Europe tour). As she was not free so she sent her daughter to wait for us as we arrived late. The room was a bit small for a family of 5. They offered very simple breakfast but good to have tea n coffee round the clock. Plenty good food nearby but reservations required.

Great friendly place, awesome location

Hostes Tizziana was wonderful. She helped us with everything we needed. She makes breakfast every morning with great coffee. She was very helpful with reserving our tickets for museums and coloseum. She also booked a ticket for a train to pompai for us. The place was clean and cute. I think it's best for couples. If you have kids like us, you have to keep the kids quiet, as the place seems to be an apartment, so there are other people in the other 2 rooms. Place is in a fifth floor, and windows low, so be careful if you do have kids! You may share a breakfast table with other people, so since we like privacy during meal time, we chose to eat breakfast in a restaurant. The location is perfect, 5 minutes walking distance to Vatican, and bus station for airport is basicaly in front of the house. The subway, and city bus stations are also very close. There are tons of restaurants and coffee shops in the neighborhood. I like to run in the morning. The neighborhood is very safe. I ran to the river Tiber, and then ran along the river for couple miles and back. I really enjoyed the stay. Overall this place was great, and Tizziana will make you feel like you're part of her family.

very clean.this is a 4 bedroom apartment on the 5th floor of a ncie bldg. there is an elevator. location is great. each bedroom has private shower and toilet. there is a common kitchen and dining area.

Helpful host and comfy bed

Tiziana was wonderful at Day by Day. She not only welcomed us, she gave us excellent advice in terms of visiting St. Peter's and other attractions during our short stay in Rome. We would highly recommend Day by Day especially if you want to be close to the Vatican. The bed was comfortable and the room surprisingly quiet.

why i dont like bed and brecfast

i didnt fly over the alps for instant coffee and a kettle its basically a flat with a shared kitchen i wasn't expecting a full english in the morning but brecfast was spartn

Delightful B&B close to Rome city centre

Tiziana was an excellent host making our stay in Rome so enjoyable and such a memorable experience.We are very grateful to her for providing all the additional tourist information one requires when visiting a large city for the first time including restuarant recommendations,transport arrangements and the best attractions to visit in the limited time we had available. She was very welcoming on arrival and helped us to resolve a payment dispute with the taxi driver who had driven us from the airport even though it was 9pm in the evening. Well done Tiziana and I have no hesitation in awarding you a well deserved excellent rating.

Very good hotel in a good location

-The rooms were very clean -Everything was working normally -The bathrooms were spacious and had room to put towels/cosmetics -The wifi worked great -The AC was good -the breakfast was good, and had a wide variety of drinks -the location was very good( quiet but close to everything)

We stayed there for 2 nights and were more than satisfied with everything! Tiziana gave us great recommendations regarding places to eat so we enjoyed amazing food for a very reasonable prices! Location is very convenient - walk-able distance to a lot of attractions, couple steps to the Vatican. Very nice neighborhood. Breakfast was good with the homemade cakes!

Enjoyed our stay at Day by Day

We enjoyed out stay at Day by Day B&B and would stay again. Tiziana, the hostess was so welcoming and really took care of us during our stay. You can't beat the location, walking distance to the Vatican (which is what we were looking for) and plenty of restaurants to choose from. Nice and safe neighborhood. Enjoyed getting to know Tiziana every morning while she prepared breakfast for us. We hope to stay with her again the next time we're in Rome!

Nice Stay

We booked into day by day for a couple nights and had a nice stay. The woman who runs the BnB, whose name has escaped me, is lovely. She was full of suggestions and advice.

Wonderful Location and Great Host!

We stayed at Day by Day last weekend and loved Tiziana's hospitality. She was helpful even before we got there through email, offering to arrange a cab for us and giving other options for getting there. She met us at the bed and breakfast promptly (we got there around 9 PM) and told us all the great places to go nearby- especially the restaurants- which was invaluable. We had tickets we needed to print off and she got that done for us. Then she showed us our room, simple but very clean (what else do you need when you aren't there much anyway) and it had its own AIR CONDITIONING which is a must in Rome. Tiziana was there to serve us breakfast every day, and it was just what we needed to start a long day of sightseeing. Toast, yogurt, meats and cheeses, cereal, a yummy cake, and great coffee. One day we needed to get to the Colosseum and she told us what bus to take and exactly where we should go to get it. She was so hospitable to all the guests and spoke French with some, English with us, Italian with another- and I guess she speaks Spanish too! She will do anything to make your stay better and also has a credit card reader which not all bed and breakfast owners do- it made it much more convenient for us. Such a sweet lady and I would recommend her bed and breakfast anytime! it is 5 minutes from the Vatican in a nice area and close to a metro (although we just walked everywhere because Rome isn't very big). Thanks Tiziana for a wonderful time in Rome!

Ticked all the boxes

We were looked after and made very welcome. Provided with guide and map and shown how to get around. Location convenient for Vatican and most of the other tourist attractions were walkable or on a bus route. Would stay here again.

Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo

Check in a distanza molto comodo. Camera e bagno colorati e confortevoli, molto puliti. Infisso della finestra non molto insonorizzato, si sentono i rumori della strada, ma trovandosi al 5' piano é sopportabile. Colazione basica, non molto varia. Comunque ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Proprietaria molto gentile.

Surpresa agradável

Ficamos surpresos com a hospedagem. O quarto é bem grande, super confortável, a limpeza é impecável e a localização excelente , com metro fácil e ponto de ônibus. A proprietária é muito simpática e fala espanhol. Recomendo a hospedagem.

L'appartement était propre et le personnel très sympa, la seule chose qui nous a vraiment déplu est le petit déjeuné. Il n'y avait pour ainsi dire rien à part quelques biscottes, céréale, biscuits secs, banane pourrie et 3 pommes passées.

Il posto è molto carino, le camere sono belle, pulite e accoglienti. La cucina a disposizione di tutti è molto ben attrezzata e pulita. La posizione è ottima e il personale è disponibilissimo. Sicuramente prenderò in considerazione questa sistemazione per un altro soggiorno futuro.

Como en casa

Todo muy bien. Muy amables y hay gran libertad para realizar tus actividades. El único pero es que cuando uno se baña se mojado todo el baño.

Buena opción cerca del vaticano y tipo apartamento

excelente recepción aunque hay que avisar ántes, muy amigables en recepción y el cuarto excelente en tamaño y comodidad, a distancia caminando de el Vaticano a 10 minutos, plaza Navona a 15 minutos. un desayuno con buen cafe ( nexpresso) , fruta y pan en la cocina compartida. son pocos cuartos por lo que no hay mucho ruido.

Bem situado, limpo,espaçoso, vários chás disponíveis, café nespresso grátis, laranjas para fazer sumo grátis (o pequeno almoço alem destes items são umas bolachas e uns queques em pacote )

Väga abivalmis ja sõbralik teenindus. Võimaldati kohvrite hoidmine korteris nii enne sisseregistreerimist kui ka pärast välja registreerimist. Hommikusöögi valik tagasihoidlik, aga kohvi korralik! Suured tänud korteri peremehele Mauriziole!

Odanın temizligi rezaletti. Duvardan böcekler çıkıyordu. Kesinlikle bir daha tercih edeceğim bir yer degil. Checkin için oda, beklenen saatte hazırlanmamıştı.

Ми вирішили поїхати до Риму та Ватикану із сім'єю вперше (дружина, двоє доньок майже 7-ми років та я). Вперше ми замовили готель класу B&B (Bed& Breakfest). Хоча номер не є дуже великим, але він чистий та затишний. Нам сподобалось все! По-перше, дуже чудові та приємні власники готелю (Мауріціо та його син Лоренцо). Нас гостинно прийняли, забезпечили усім необхідним, у тому числі продуктами харчування для дітей. Кожного ранку у холодильнику були цитрусові, молоко та інше, хоча це не передбачене умовами бронювання. Кожного ранку була безкоштовно, знову ж таки, запашна італійська кава, яка заслуговує окремої уваги. Дуже зручне розташування готелю, до найближчої станції метро Оттавіано пішки 5-7 хвилин спокійним шагом, стільки ж часу до Собору Св. Петра (Ватикан). Навколо готелю дуже багато ресторанів, піцерій та інше. У нас залишилися тільки позитивні враження від усього, що ми побачили у Римі. Тому рекомендуємо цей готель і будемо самі зупинятися у ньому під час нашої наспуної поїздки до Риму!

Location e prezzo ottimi, pulizia no.

Soggiorno di una sola notte, posizione ottima e ad un prezzo davvero competitivo. Ottime potenzialita', ma non a livello dei giudizi che avevo letto per quanto riguarda la pulizia, anche negli spazi e nei servizi comuni, ad esempio le tazze e il tostapane erano sporchi, la cabina doccia con un po' di muffa, polvere, ecc. Per colazione, fai-da-te con macchinetta del caffe', latte e succhi in frigo, marmellatta ecc., e una semplice 'torta' confezionata. Tra le note positive, free wi-fi.
