Room 615, the adjacent AC was VERY loud and it keeps me waking up at night.(room ac was not noisy). Also, i cut myself with the water bottle cover and there’s not even a plaster(first aide kit) in the receiving counter.

Overall great hotel experience. Very nice and clean 3 star hotel. Amazing friendly staff, housekeeping does its job perfectly

we loved our stay here! they were very accommodating and helped us a lot throughout our trip. we are definitely staying here the next time we come to bangkok.

It was in a back alley and was horrible !! We paid for 9 nights and lasted two ! Left to a hotel around the corner . It was dirty , dark and dingy. Breakfast was very poor and eggs and food was cold ! Would not recommend and would not go back . Bathroom had mildew and wasn’t cleaned daily. Very very disappointed!

Very near to Pratunam but streets around are quite dark at night. Easy to get to massage parlours though.

I made a booking for a night in Cubic Pratunam Hotel and got there at night. Finally I was told that there is no room for us. They only accept walk-in. I show them my booking number and they couldn’t get us a room. We ended up changing the hotel which is 5 min walking away. After a long flight, got to see the busy city with a bad traffic at night and walked with a a lot of stuff, that wasn’t a pleasant experience for us. Would never recommend this hotel. It’s even better to be removed from Expedia.

The attitude of shuttle tuktuk driver (the thin one) is rude.

House keeping was poor. Did not change bedsheet and pillow case throughout my stay. First room i was given had a terrible toilet stench, staff only able to change it for the next day. Such terrible room condition and still given to customer? Noise can be heard clearly along the corridor. Really a very unpleasant stay.

Spittze Hotel was the one where we were directed which was behind Cubic Pratunam. Not sure why this happened as we were not told or explained but it made us feel a bit insecure. Though Spittze Hotel room was very good in terms of price. However check-in time took forever. Beside these, most staffs were quite friendly and helpful. I think i'm giving comments to Spittze Hotel.

Door cannot open , 1am !!!! We back from outside!!! Reception cannot settle for us, need wait till morning 8am Ok, we agree change room for temporarily, but same problem, once we out from room, door same cannot open !!!! this is our last day at bangkok, 12pm need check out, everything need clean & keep inside lagguage Very bad experience!!!!!!!!!!

Lobby was diverted to another hotel which is the sister hotel located right beside it but the staff is friendly and check-in process was rather fast. The overall room is as per what that was describe and you cant complain with the price you pay and getting such decent facilities. Perhaps the only setback would be they should had closed the window in the room as theres quite a number of mozzie in the room.

Overall is acceptable. You get what you pay for. The location is a bit far but the hotel provide shuttle service. The room is clean but the bed is not comfortable. I get 2single bed, the bed was not in good shape, you will falls when you sit on it (rob sided). The toiletries was not replenished.

Budget hotel, still can accept but sound insulation poor,poor Wi-Fi.

The room structure is more like an apartment rather than a hotel room. Labels for body wash and shampoo missing in the shower drove me a bit crazy.

I think the only thing I like is the massage service downstairs. They are way more friendly than the receptionist.

Building is a bit old. Massage at ground floor was excellent but going to BTS with luggage is a bit challenging. Location to Platinum mall is great but to Siam need to cut through railway to get to BTS .

Cash worthy 3 star with breakfast

Been with them for 7 years and finally they earned enough to build another connecting hotel. The room is another $20 more compared to cubic. The frustrating part about cubic is the mattress getting lumpy and they chased you for check-out starting from 11am. A guy knocked on the door and I said 12pm, then while I was bathing, another lady persistently knocked and asked what time again. I mean, dont they communicate?

Disappointed

I found ants in the room, mouse and cockroach in the lobby every morning and night. What do you think? The bed is like a spring cover with blanket only, the sensor at the walk way outside room keep beeping for the whole night, can listen very clearly, we are not even fall a sleep at the first night. the whole stay was so uncomfortable. We booked two room, both aircon was not function well.

The location is in a strategic neighborhood but in a dead alley. Slippers were not available in the room i hope they put it in the future Overall i was comfortable staying in there.

The hotel offers secure parking. It's close to major shopping malls. The rooms were clean. The biggest problem was the bed and the breakfast buffet. The bed was horrific!!! It was so old and worn that when we sat on it the mattress nearly sank to the floor. Neither of us slept at all the entire night. The breakfast buffet was bland, basic and very little choices. There were no omelettes, no desserts, and the overall quality was poor. The front desk staff was nice but they did not speak any English... unusual for any hotel near tourist districts. With so many choices in that area we probably won't be back there unless they change the beds.

The mattress and pillow are bad can throw away, housekeeping lazy did not wash the cup after we use. Only the water pressure and air conditioning good . I will never rent this hotel again and not even recommend to my friend

The stay is not worth the money you're paying

Pro : 1) Good location, because at Pratunam 2) in house tuk tuk Cons : 1) The bed is so old, that the spring coil already spoilt and when you sit on the bed, you drop by few inches down. As if the bed has been used for ages. 2) quilt cover has stain (blood) at the corner, and when I request for change the next day, the house keeping don't bother to do anything (and my 4nights stay was with the stain) 3) their house keeping is just sweep the floor, change tower and refill toilet rolls & drinking water. 4) mosquitos in the room (even at the 6th floor) that I have to buy my own insect repellent to spray in the room 5) their in-house tuk tuk driver is so unprofessional, we requested the driver to drive us to nearest BTS, I'm not sure what happen to him before driving us, and that he show temper, and purposely drive very fast at the small lane, and put on emergency break at the small junction (but there is no any other vehicle at that time), that cause me slip to the front and hit my knee (causing my knee bang to the front seat).

the hotel is clean, room is big, aircon not cold.n noisy.but the only not satisfied is one of the hotel tuk tuk driver, our first time taking the hotel tuk tuk, he gave us bad attitude when we ask him for transport, he drive us half way he stop his transport in the middle of the road n go to the side store for few drinks after that he purposly drive the tuk tuk so fast n he turn left without slow down n when we reach the destination he purposely jam the brakes n all of us being push forward n he shouted at us to get out of the transport

Tuk tuk service almost 'out of service' for every morning. Very terrible experience with the morning shift tuk tuk driver. My room a bit dirty because got spider web. Female house keeper is unfriendly. I have paid for late check out and requested her to refill body bath and change a pair of towel, when she pass the towel to me, she showed me a very rude face impression. The room are not clean even though I requested to clean my room every morning before I went out. The WiFi is rather bad. Almost non-existent. Terrible service, rude driver, I don't recommend to stay in this hotel even though the location is good.

The hotel was extremely dirty, sheets were yellow, no wifi and when asked staff, they said nothing they can do and is my laptop having issues... Also they provided tuktuk but when you called, they are engaged and when finally got through after 50 tries, they said flood could not send tuktuk out but I just saw a tuktuk passed us,coming from same direction the tuktuk from hotel would hv come... Also they asked for cash deposit which then restricted my spending power in Bangkok as I wasn't aware I hv to place cash as deposit ;(

I was staying 8 nights from 5 to 13 Sept 2018. This was my second stay in this hotel. First day was in room 603 and then after changed to room 205. The room 205 was dusty. Both rooms 603 and 205, vicinity stayed by a group of family and friends via multiple rooms, they were noisy, ignorance etc. Kept on opening and closing the doors to hang around rooms next door. Some nights they just chat loudly with the room door opening. Hotel rooms have weak sound proof. I was sick in the mid of the trip due to lack of good night sleeps consecutively, plus the weather of Bangkok was rainy everyday during the my trip. Think twice or more before you book this hotel.

The Cubic hotel is a pleasant place to stay in Bangkok. It is down a side street which means it is very quiet. Yet it is only a few minutes walk to the SkyTrain, market, restaurants and nightmarket. Everything in the hotel is of decent quality and good value for money

Close to the main road but on an inside road

This room decor was good and the hotel was clean however the location of the hotel is located within small streets and can be a little difficult first time to get out onto the main road. The hotel is very small so cannot avoid weird people if you encounter any. The entrance to both the lift and stairwell from reception are both located in a secluded space which is not safe at all when you have weirdos staying at the hotel. Had to check out of here the day after checking in due to a personal problem at the hotel, the staff were not very helpful immediately and security will not make you feel secure.

Disappointing stay

I have stayed for about 5 years, per year 4 times. So with this stay, it is 21 times. This time stay was disappointing. I was not given a new toilet roll for my 5 days of stay. When i go out atfter 1pm, room service did not clean up. Taxi counter forgot about my booking. It is time to shift to kclub or tara wish.

Hotel with good location n nice tuk tuk facility

Overall the hotel for short stay is good enough and value for money absolutely. There is 24hr tuk tuk service for short distance places which is very convenient and even can pick up back hotel. Maybe due to budgeted hotel, cannot request hotel staffs to be more friendly and with smiling face. Nothing bad experience, although stayed only 2 nights and request we change room and check out our luggage for storage at lobby change room which was troublesome. The only unfavourable was the bed mattress is super soft which make us feel backache and tired after wake up.

Shocking hotel

Rude staff. No greeting. No amenities. Shuttle bus option that was free to take us around city centre was broken. No assistance from staff when i asked for a taxi. The bed was the worst where the springs just pop out into your back.

It is very difficult & sketchy to walk to the hotel from the Phaya Thai train station eventhough it looks so close on the map as many roads don't connect to others and many has dead ends. Room is very big but very noisy as there is constructions around. Bed is extremely uncomfortable like air bed; you can feel the springs inside on the outside. Bathroom stinks and there are ants/bugs on the table.

Good value

I was hesitant to book at first because of the mixed reviews I've been seeing. I booked nonetheless because it was really cheap. I had a good stay in this hotel. The room looks exactly like the pictures. The bathroom was clean, which was really important to me. I personally didn't feel the customer service was bad but probably because I only stayed for a night. The only downside of this hotel is the location. It's about 5-minute walk to Platinum Mall. They provide free tuktuk but only to a certain drop-off point; they don't really bring you to the main highway. I would stay here again if price remains the same.

Average budget hotel close to attraction point

Staffs are friendly and helpful and wifi ok. However, the hotel and the facilities are old, lights are too dull and toilet cleanes should be improved. Hope this hotel will renovate soon.

Ok hotel but wifi did not work

There were major issues getting the wifi to work on the 5th floor. The front desk suggested trying to log onto the other floors but the signal was so weak on all devices the internet could not be used. The internet did not work for the three days I stayed at the hotel. If you want good wifi at your hotel I would suggest not staying at this hotel.

Great Service

I enjoyed my stay at Cubic esp their free tuk-tuk services. The hotel was clean to my standard. The Hotel staff were very helpful which made my Bangkok trip more manageable. I recommend this hotel!

Overall condition is acceptable. Room is clean, hotel environment is ok, location is nice, just u need to walk a bit to main road. Tul tuk service provided, but not always available. Room sound proof is POOR. Hope this can be improved. Overall is ok with this price.

Pretty decent place

The staffs were nice and polite. Breakfast was pretty standard. I wasn't able to connect to WiFi during my entire stay for some reason. However, the rooms were pretty big and comfortable. Definitely value for money!

Refill

Shampoo and shower gel finished but room cleaning service did not refill it until we informed front desk to refill them for next room cleaning service. Toilet paper left not much they didn't change / refill because it won't last for 1 usage.

The water in the shower room is so small that it will not even be. Some of the spring of the mattress has been broken, into the room without the replacement of shoes. Toilet paper used up and did not replenish

Surrounded by decent facilties

Hotel isn't that difficult to find, although it might be quite deep inside a lane. It's nice that the 2 lanes that lead out of the hotel leads to 2 main shopping areas in the area, one leading to Bayoike Sky Night Market/Neon Night Market, while the other leads to the Platinum Mall/Shibuya Glow area. About 10-15 mins walk to the nearest BTS, not too near but still within walking distance.. Mattress' quality isn't very good, something with the spring inside that makes it very wobbly, but still a decent bed to sleep in. Room's cleaniless and facility are good. I personally find that it's worth more than what I paid for, will come here again if the price is good.

the hotel staff do not speak english well. my bedding wasn't changed for the 12 days of my duration of my stay. the breakfast was always the same. location wise, its close to phaya thai staion which is convenient for the airport link.

Blood stain can be found under my bed sheet and there's a terrible smell from the toilet. And the door is not closing properly unless a force is applied.

The room is clean , we took deluxe room. The staff speak good english. stay 3nites with 3 same breakfast . should change the menu every 2days , would be nice . we try to walk to MBK and it took 20minute walking .

Comfortable hotel but out of the way.

Everything was pretty swell, no construction noise or smelly toilets noted by other reviewers. The bed was really comfortable and big, didn't find any problem with the overall facilities. This hotel even has a gym for those interested. Breakfast was pretty mediocre, but we hardly had any breakfast in the hotel. The hotel no longer offers a tuktuk which drops you off close to the BTS station, but the one to pratunam market and the main road is still up. Finding your way back might be difficult, as the hotel is quite out of the way and cab drivers don't really know how to come here, especially since the road the hotel is on is one way leading out to the main road. If you're taking from around the area, telling the cab driver "Phetburi Soi 13" might be an easier way to get there than showing them the address on your phone. Overall was pretty good, would stay here again.
