Great access around Rome

Hotel is close walk to Ostiense train station and Pyramid metro, making it convenient to airport and all around Rome. Located in residential neighborhood with great restaurants, good prices. Room was comfortable with private bath and staff were kind. We appreciated the gracious upgrade to two adjoining rooms each with bath as mother/daughter travelling together. Would stay here again for the room price, access around Rome, and neighborhood with affordable food and drink.

Very spacious room - unexpected for Europe. Hotel is in apartment building. Several apartments are converted to hotel rooms, but still every room has its own bathroom. There is shared kitchen with refrigerator and oven. Great place in great location - a lot of public transportation around.

My favorite place in Rome

I love this place. This is my second time staying here. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. The private shower and bathroom are nice. The bed is comfy and the wifi is strong. The A/C works well. The location is great as it is just a 5 minute walk to the Piramide metro station - perfect for taking the train to the beach or heading into the city center. You can also walk to the Colosseum in 30 minutes. Stay here. It's lovely.

Convenient location near train station.

We stayed here for an overnight in Rome before a connecting flight. Place was easy to get to near Ostiense train station. Our suite was ridiculously clean - I mean spotless. Was a little noisy in the evening as we overlooked the rail lines, but not a big deal. AC worked great as did the wifi. My only complaint would be the bed was very squeaky and woke me up whenever I rolled over. Other than that, the fellow who checked us in was very friendly and helpful, and we feel like did very well with our decision to stay here.

Comfortable stay with excellent WI FI

This B&B was really comfortable during my stay there for five nights with excellent high speed WI FI. The status of room, toilet and bathroom were all clean. In terms of traffic it is located in comfortable location about 200m apart from METRO.

A good value in Rome

Very nice people run the place. Spoke good English and took a lot of time giving me directions to several places I needed to go. Easy walk from Ostiense Rail Station and not too far from Pyramid Metro. The room was nice and clean, as was the shared kitchen -- the only thing that kept me from giving it 5 stars for comfort was the fact the pillows were hard. My room faced the railroad tracks, which could have been a problem for anyone bothered by the loud noise of the train -- I was not. The neighborhood seemed safe, though a little spooky when walking back from the train station after dark. An added convenience was the market across the street, but it closes by 8 or 9. This was an excellent value for the money -- I would definitely stay here again.

Good although not what expected

Thought this was a hotel but it was an apartment. It worked out because we were able to cook eggs and store food. The kitchen was stocked with cereal, coffee, tea, yogurt, milk and other breakfast items. We were able to walk to the colosseum in about 1/2 an hour. A taxi ride was 10 euros. There is a great vegetarian pizza restaurant and gelato shop at the corner with a line out the door. The only cons are there are many doors to get in the apartment (4 with locks) and you can hear the train when it passes. Also, check out was at 10:30am and there was someone knocking at our door at 10:20 waiting for us to leave so she could clean.

Good hotel for your money

The hotel has an excellent location, less than 10 minutes from the train station. Rooms are ok and the bathroom is rather small but very clean. Its good if your staying for 1 -2 nights.

It's ok to stay in this accommodation.

The hotel is not in a great neighborhood. Granted I am aware that Rome is not a clean city and often has grafiti and the like, but I felt more comfortable walking around at night near the train station than near this hotel. The staff seem to be making an effort to learn english, but it's very spotty. The notes to the hotel say that you can contact them to arrange to checkin later. We attempted to call them and tell them and we replied to an email asking about time with our later checkin time, but when we arrived the woman was cross that we were there late and said we were lucky because the hotel was already closed for the night. We also were told by the staff that they did not know why the description says laundry because they didn't know of any laundry facilities. It was ok, but all in all I would have preferred to stay somewhere else.

Definitely one of the better places in Rome!!

The place was beautiful! The bedrooms were color themed which was creative, the bathroom was super clean and up to date. Everything was very comfortable. Breakfast was great. Friendly staff. Close to the Metro which makes for easy transportation! In comparison to other places I have stayed at in Rome, I would definitely choose this one again. Worth the money!!

A fantastic little place in a relaxed neighborhood

The location is great. It's a 5 minute walk to the Piramide metro station which is perfect if you want to go into town or take the train to the beach at Ostia. It's also around a 20 minute walk to the Colosseum. The neighborhood has good food and bars but without the tourists. Staying here you can really get the best of both worlds. The rooms are luxurious. The bed was big and comfy. You get your own bathroom and shower. Plenty of electrical outlets. A really great air conditioner. You also get access to a lovely little patio and a shared kitchen with a fridge and oven/stove top. The only conceivable downside to this place is it is right next to train tracks that are heavily used. This didn't bother me at all as the noise wasn't enough to make conversation difficult on the patio and it wasn't even noticeable inside the room. In fact, for me the trains going by added a nice aesthetic. I highly recommend staying here!

good for downtown .. not good for FCO airport

the room was fine.. Coffee maker was broken, as was door handle. originally advertised as near FCO airport.. Not so.. 13 Miles through downtown Rome is not near FCO Airport.

Great hotel, good accommodations!

The staff was helpful, but If you don't know any Italian I don't know if I would recommend staying here as the owners do not speak much English. That being said we loved our room and the breakfast accommodations were fantastic and available 24/7. Easy walk to the metro to get to anywhere in Rome. Overall I really enjoyed my stay, had a wonderful time in Rome, and would recommend this place for anyone!

Rome vacation

Very convenient location (line B, subway station Piramyde). Have access to a kitchen and it is in front of a supermarket. Print a gogle map before you get there. Also keep in mind you will be charged taxes per person per day (I believe is 2 euros pp/day). Not a lot but this was not included on the original quote (I was charged the same at hotel in Zurich). Overall good stay. There is also a Bank around the corner, and a good pizza place called "Pizza Ala Pala" on your way from the subway to the hotel. Good value for your money.

it was alright

Don't use North American standard in Europe!! We booked the apartment suite and it was decent, we did not touch the "breakfast" food though, there are packaged bread and bakery with no expire date on them. The owners are nice enough but speak very little English. If you are light sleepers, beware of the trains!

Great BB near Roma Tre and Ostiensee Roma station

This is not place for people who want typical hotel-type hotel. This is small new B & B about 10 mins. walk from Ostiensee station (on train line that goes to Fiumicino Airport); 10 mins. from Piramide subway stop; about 30 mins. walk from University of Rome Tre. Rooms and bathrooms are new (as of April 2012) on 5th floor of apartment buidling. Kitchen has plenty to eat for free breakfast (as well as fridge with yoghurt and juices at other times of day). Rate was great. Decor is a bit garish, but everything was comfortable.

Tutto ok, ambiente pulito, qualche piccolissima pecca nella manutenzione. Il quartiere è molto bello, la camera dista a una manciata di minuti da eatily ed è una zona ricca di ristoranti bar gelaterie sushi... Uno più carino dell'altro. Colazione base (caffè o cappuccino con brioche). C'è un ampio parcheggio gratuito a 3/400 metri prendendo la strada di fronte all'ingresso della camera e andando sempre dritti. Vicinissimo alla metro, si sente il rumore del treno, ma non è fastidioso. Ci tornerò. Consigliato

Dormire in una cameretta tutta rosa è stata dura

Alloggio situato al primo piano di un palazzo a 5 minuti a piedi dalla stazione Ostiense e da Ikea/Eataly e a meno di 10 minuti a piedi dalla stazione metro B di Piramide. Camere, spaziose pulite e molto accoglienti, dotate di tv e condizionatore/riscaldamento con funzionamento in mano al cliente. Personale cortese e check in rapido. Presente anche una cucina comune utilizzabile da clienti magari acquistando cibo nel supermercato aperto 24/7 proprio di fronte.Colazione (buona) compresa, nel bar di fronte. Unica piccola pecca la mancanza di informazioni al momento della prenotazione che spiegassero che era necessario suonare ad un campanello che riportava un nome diverso da Cleopatra. Buon rapporto qualità/prezzo. adatto anche a famiglie.

soggiorno per lavoro

la struttura molto conveniente e la qualità ottima! La camera pulitissima e lo staff molto gentile e disponibile alle esigenze dei clienti! la posizione è davvero ottima sia per i mezzi (metro e treni) in quanto vicinissimi sia per eventuali beni di prima necessità per via di un market aperto 24 h su 24h! insomma il B&b Clropatra è da tenere in considerazione...le uniche pecche forse sono due! la prima essendo vicino la stazione si sentono i treni di giorno, ma la notte molto meno (anzi pochissimo!); la seconda (ma questa secondo le mie esigenze) è che nel bagno non ci fosse un termosifone a colonna per mettere ad asciugare l’asciugamano! per il resto complessivamente mi sono trovato bene e lo consiglierei

ローマの友達の家の近くに一泊で泊まりました。場所が、わかりずらかったですが、わかってしまえば、便利な場所でした。部屋も綺麗で可愛く、1人では十分な広さでした。次回もまた、利用したいと思います。

molto pulito ed in posizione strategica

ho pernottato solo per 1 notte ma la posizione del b&b e' strategica, le camere sono grandi , molto pulite e l'uso eventuale della cucina e' un valore aggiunto. Prezzi giusti e personale cortese.

Un posto tranquillo...massima pulizia e gentilezza .La DISCREZIONE del personale ne fà da padrona. Grazie ancora! Ci ritornerò volentieri.... Consiglio di non limitarsi a guardare le foto (non rendono)

Good location; however the room I stayed faced the railway and it was noisy all the night when the train passed. Other than that it was nice with kitchen and tv.

Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis

verkehrsgünstig sehr gut gelegen an der Metro-Station Piramide. Für den Preis kriegt man kaum ein Hotel in der Zentrumsnähe, zumal die Ausstattung ausreichend und angenehm war. Kein solch steriles Hotel, da man direkt unter Römern residiert. Wir fanden es nett und komplett ausreichend um die Stadt zu erkunden.

Attenzione qui al prezzo, bed - si, breakfast - no

Tutto bene in camera ma mi hanno chiesto di pagare subito un prezo che era quello scritto sul internet ma elevato dal quello posto nella camera che dove a essere il massimo. Poi mi hanno datto un buono per la colazione ad un bar che era chiuso per farie. Questo mi e rimasto male perche non mi pareva onesto.

Week end a Roma

Volendo passare un week end a Roma abbiamo cercato in jnternet , in modo casuale , un posto in cui alloggiare e la nostra attenzione ( in verita' quella di mio figlio ) , e' caduta sul B&B Cleopatra. Giunti a destinazione , oltre la mezzanotte , gentilmente l' incaricato ci ha attesi per la consegna delle chiavi della camera ( ottimo inizio ). Eravamo in tre , due adulti e un bambino e ci hanno assegnato due camere matrimoniali comunicanti , entrambe dotato di bagno , tv , wifi , spaziose e pulitissime. Contentissimi della scelta e per eventuali futuri viaggi a Roma la nostra prima scelta sara' sicuramente questa. ASSOLUTAMENTE DA CONSIGLIARE. i

Zentrale saubere Unterkunft zum vernünftigen Preis

Zum Sightseeing in Rom hatten wir mit Cleopatra das ideale Quartier, für den Preis alles in Ordnung.

Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis

Wir waren im Juni 2015 für drei Nächte in diesem Hotel, das eigentlich aus umgebauten Wohnungen besteht. Sehr originell, fanden wir. Die Zimmer wirken auf den ersten Blick zwar ein bisschen "schwülstig", aber es ist alles sehr sauber, wir hatten, gemeinsam mit zwei anderen Zimmern eine riesige Terrasse, deren einziger Nachteil es war, dass die Bahngleise unmittelbar neben dem Haus vorbeiführen. Ist aber nicht wirklich störend. Das Frühstück im naheliegenden "Space Cafe" ist halt italienisch, aber sehr gut. Wir sind immer etwa 20 Minuten zu Fuß zum Circus Maximus gegangen, um von dort mit dem Bus loszufahren. Auf dieser Strecke kommt man an vielen günstigen Lokalen vorbei, in denen man sich kurz stärken kann! :-) Ein exzellenter Eissalon befindet sich in ca. 100 m Entfernung. Es ist ein wirklich gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und wir würden dieses Hotel jederzeit wieder auswählen!

Gelungener Aufenthalt in Rom

Das B&B Cleopatra liegt nahe der Metrostation Pyramide (ca. 600m), eine Tiefgarage ist ebenfalls direkt unter dem Gebäudekomplex zu finden, falls erforderlich. Kostet zwischen 10 und 20 €, je nach PKW Größe. Ebenfalls ist eine Küche vorhanden, die sehr sauber ist und benutzt werden kann. Restaurants gibt es jede Menge und in allen Preisklassen. Erstklassige Eisdiele gleich um die Ecke, ist nur zu empfehlen!! Allgemein sehr gute Infrastruktur. Eines muss man natürlich sagen, die Gleise des Nahverkehrs gehen direkt am Gebäudekomplex vorbei, aber wen Verkehrslärm stört, der sollte Rom dann lieber gänzlich meiden :-). Wir hatten damit null Probleme und konnten Rom römisch erleben. Immer wieder gerne.

Libertà assoluta

Questo albergo è in realtà un appartamento situato a pochi passi dalla stazione metro di piramide e quindi comodissimo per raggiungere il centro. Il personale, gentilissimo, ci ha consegnato le chiavi del portone del palazzo di modo da essere pienamente indipendenti e poter tornare a qualunque orario. Ci sono stati consegnati dei tagliandi i per poter fare colazione gratuitamente in un bar vicino. Per chi vuole cucinare c'è anche una comoda cucina completa di tutto. Le camere sono ampie e bellissime, pulite e comode. Avevamo prenotato una tripla e abbiamo avuto una camera doppia con due letti matrimoniali, due bagni, due tv! L'unica pecca è la rumorosità dovuta alla stazione dei treni, ma sopportabilissima dato che di notte passano pochissimi treni! Lo consiglio per un viaggio a Roma low cost senza rinunciare a nulla!

B&B vicino alla stazione Roma Ostiense

Cercavo un posto dove dormire vicino alla stazione Roma Ostiense perchè dovevo prendere un treno molto presto la mattina seguente e in questo il B&B è stato ottimo vista la posizione. Il mio giudizio è molto meno positivo riguardo la struttura perchè il letto non era pulito (lenzuola stropicciate con capelli non miei!); al mio arrivo il campanello non funzionava e ho dovuto telefonare per farmi aprire; passano treni tutta notte e chi ha il sonno leggero non dorme (questa ovviamente non è una critica alla struttura, ma solo un'asservazione).

Läget??

Lägenheten vi bodde i hade både fönstret och balkongen mot en tågstation. Omöjligt att sova på nätterna. I T-bana stationen som ligger närmaste, piramid, hänger ett gäng unga flickor som är runt 14-15 år gamla, de är fräcka ficktjuvar. Trots att vi pratade med station personalen och polisen flera gånger så var de kvar där inne vi spåren hela dagarna. Italien är hur fin som helst men de sakerna jag nämnde är ett minus

Plus jamais ! A éviter.

Chambre très très brouillantes à cause des rails à proximité, petit déjeuner minimaliste avec une cafetière qui prépare un café tiède, chambres faites toutes les 3 nuits ! Du jamais vu! je ne comprends pas les notes positives sur cet hôtel !?!?

Bra beliggenhet

Hotellet ligger like ved Ostiense jernbanestasjon, og 4 minutters gange fra Piramide Metrostasjon, samt 2 minutter til busstopp for bl.a buss 23 som tar deg til Vatikanet. Med 3 dagerskort kan du derfor komme deg lettvint rundt i byen. Personalet er meget hyggelig og rommet fint, vi hadde til og med en stor takterasse. Sengen vår var imidlertid for hard, og frokosten rett ut latterlig dårlig, det var bare tørre kaker og syltetøy. Det ligger heldigvis en Carrefour rett over gata, der får man kjøpt rundstykker. Vær obs på at togene bråker en del, men det er stille fra rundt midnatt til halv fem.
