Good to sleep
Hotel in ideal location for everything. Staff first class.
A good stay
The staff is extremely kind and very accommodating. The wifi could be better though.
Staff was very helpful and nice. Close to train station and airport. Property was very clean. Could use some hooks in bathroom and a bit more lighting in the room. Very nice stay.
Great hotel, very convenient, close to station and Piazza dei Signori.
Staff was good but hotel needs work, no plug in for coffee machine, shower handle broken etc
Easy from station and into the city
The 4 star hotel is a joke. The inside is very old and outdated. The shower was so tiny you could barely turn around in it. The water in the shower turned from cold to hot. There was leftover bar soap in the shower from a previous guest, which made it clear that it wasn’t properly cleaned. The AC blasts on your head when you’re in bed. We had to close it completely, which made the room so hot. The lighting was very dim. Its only redeeming quality was the reception staff. They were nice and helpful. Would NOT recommend this hotel.
Room seemed clean but the smells of cigarettes or maybe the general smell of the room was unbearable. Receptionist was really great and provided us with a much better room (free upgrade). Area was a little sketchy but not unsafe.
Great price & location!
It was fine
Great location for the train station and the shops and restaurants
Very nice place
Nice place Good customer service
Excellent front of desk very informative and helpful. Room was immaculate. Location was superb.
Parking on site was excellent. Location for a modern hotel was good. I liked the inlaid design on the room door and the bathroom tile. One of us is 6 foot 3 inches and the shower was too small. One of us is 5 foot 10 inches and the shower was small but not impossible. We thought breakfast was expensive at 15 euros each so we went to the nearby train station and got four cappuccinos and four chocolate croissants for 15 euros total. I can recommend the hotel.
Built in old fortress.
The hotel is more modern but has a section in an older structure. Interestingly built on top of an old fortress. The old gate portal is right outside the front entrance. The staff was very accommodating and full of information. The room was nice and a good size. The bathroom was small but still had all amenities that were needed. The city is bigger than it looks on the map. The hotel is 15-20 min walk from almost anywhere in the old city.
Poor Internet
Great location, within minutes to shopping, restaurants, and central train/bus stations. The hotel staff was very accommodating, very nice and very professional. Daily breakfast was excellent. The facility does needs a renovation, specifically the rooms.
Property need to improve due to too old....
Stayed 1 night staff very pleasant room very spacious needs refreshing Great location
No wifi in the room (weak signal) and no tv
The front staff member was excellent and very accommodating to some needs we asked for. Breakfast was better than expected. We rented two room 303/302 very large and clean. Only complaint, ran out of hot water in morning . I would stay again
Treviso
Room was spacious and comfortable
Eh
Room was old while place felt very dated, there was trash in the bin when I arrived to my room.
pleasant stay, hotel undergoing some renovation
Hotel Carlton
Staff excellent helpfull and friendly. Room was cold & heating blasted for 2 minutes then clicked off. But not in room much and never reported the problem so never gave hotel the chance to retify. Lift wasn't working on 2nd night of stay. And no airport shuttle as stated in hotel facilities. Hotel spotless and food good. Overall would stay again. And location was excellent.
We received a very warm welcome from receptionist Rossella on our arrival at the hotel who also booked us an excellent restaurant next door. Our plan was to go to Venice however this looked impossible as there was a train strike. Speaking to reception about this Rossella was able to arrange a private minibus ( being a party of 8 ladies) to take us to Venice, which we were very grateful for. This showed great customer service and Rossella deserves full praise for this. I would also like to mention Jessica another member of staff who looked after us very well in the restaurant. Overall we had an excellent stay here.
Treviso Carlton
Great location, 3 min. walk from train station and airport shuttle. Within city centre district. Staff was very helpful and very friendly. Breakfast was good and inexpensive. Room was very dated but clean. Bed was ok at best. Bathroom was ok and clean. Don't think A/C worked, opened windows but too noisy. If want a room just to sleep, as we did, Carlton is ok.
Terrible quality of rooms ...very outdated hotel. Beds are the worst. 5th floor has no elevator access.
Just OK
We only used this hotel for 1 night. The rooms, especially the bathroom need to be updated. Overall the room was clean but found quite a lot of fluff under the bed. The room we were given was on the 5th floor and the elevator only goes up to the 4th floor so you need to take a flight of steps up to the 5th on foot with your luggage.
Carlton Hotel
Advertised shuttle bus doesn't exist, clean but a bit dated.
Good location
Lovely hotel in a convenient location not far from the train station in Treviso. Hotel is clean and staff are very helpful and pleasant.
Good stay.
Clean. Close to bus and train. Didn't see any restaurants nearby. There is one in hotel closed at 10pm
Ideal Hotel next to the Rail Station
Excellent Hotel staff first class breakfast very good I would highly recommend Phil & Chrissy Doncaster UK
Treviso stop-over
The hotel is very basic, the room was very basic but very clean . I did not have the need to use the restaurant or the breakfast facilities . The staff were friendly and check -in and check -out was very efficient . The secure car park was very valuable because there was no on street parking. Although the hotel was basic , it was very good value for money. The local area , especially the main plaza was fantastic. Great restaurants and bars with a great atmosphere.
Nice, clean hotel, close to Amenities.
All staff were very friendly and spoke good English. Breakfast was plentiful Close to Celtic Bar (5min walk) Close to Train Station and Bus Station (5min walk)
Wonderful Staff
We have stayed at this hotel on several occasions and always been happy during our stay. The hotel's location is excellent for the train and bus station and also for the shops in the centre. The rooms are a bit dated but are clean and well maintained. The breakfast room is very spacious and a good choice of food items . The staff a very helpful and friendly, and I would not hesitate to recommend the Carlton for a satisfying stay in Trevino!
Hotel that is near olld centre
Old hotel that has been remodeled a while ago. Room comfortable and quite large , bath tub/ shower not so easy to get in. Breakfast was nice with hot and cold foods. Parking is on premise for fee but tight entrance. Within walking distance of train station if coming by rail, or if you wish to do day trip into Vsnice. Walk in to center in 10 min. Staff spoke English and was helpful with directions
Great value for the money! Super convenient. Free parking easy and safe.
Howard's GT
Staff and the the rest of it were it bit tired 1off the Receptionist particularly bossy and surly. We had bumk beds for our teenage boys which looked from Colditz. If it was cheap you would think ot ok. But Town is wonderful so Hey Ho
Hotel stay..
The rooms need a lot of TLC, especially when your not paying cheaply for your stay... very noisy outside the hotel especially on the weekend nights that we were there, not so bad on the weekdays. It stated that rooms were sound proof but they are definitely not Breakfast OK , no lunch served and limited dinner menu and limited drinks menu. Shower not the best as it's in an awkward position on the right side of the wall.!!!! Bath was fine and some toiletries are provided. Free WiFi No air conditioning when we stayed which meant we were extremely warm and as it was so noisy outside it was a choice between no sleep from the heat in the room or open the windows and listening to the noise. Bus station and train station just 2 min walk from the hotel which was a great asset to the hotel.
Not a 4 star hotel
This is not a 4 star hotel. More like 2 star. Then again you are not paying 4 star prices. Ordinary breakfast. Bed and pillows terrible. No one seems to be giving this hotel any love.
Nice hotel very centrally located in Treviso
Elegant, clean, friendly, great breakfast included and centrally located. We were very pleased!
Nice for getaway
Perfect for Venice and surrounding areas Trains close by bus station Town centre nice 10 minutes walk over the river
location ideal
Very convenient location for airport, trains and city and Venice. Hotel clean and comfortable and staff friendly and helpful.
Good hotel, great location for Treviso on foot!
Very clean, helpful staff, good service, wonderful sun terrace (best feature)
Grand.
Good enough hotel, very central, near to rail and bus stations and city centre. Only criticism was bathroom tiny, but everything was spotless. Staff friendly and helpfull.
A great hotel we stayed several times. The breakfast is varied and the rooms comfortable. But the staff are wonderful very friendly and helpful, especially Theresa on reception an exceptional lady. The hotel is very central to the train and bus station in an ideal location. I would recommend this hotel without hesitation!
Good value hotel ideal for station
Clean, comfortable hotel with helpful staff. Ideal for the station and less than ten minutes walk to Treviso centre. Good breakfasts, too.
Good location, near to railway station. Staff friendly and helpful. Room size good. Breakfast disappointing. Roof terrace overlooks building site and hotel flags grubby. Felt a bit faded and closer to 3 star than 4.
Hotel with good location
It needs renovation urgently. The air conditioning does not work and beds are very bad. The staff at reception needs customer care training.
Treviso
We decided to stay out of Venice the night before we flew from Treviso airport and weren't we glad that we chose the Carlton Hotel. The actual hotel building isn't new but certainly comfortable and full of character. What makes the hotel so good is the staff. They couldn't do enough for us and helped us print off boarding passes for our flight with no cost. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful.
It met my needs.
I wanted to visit the city of Treviso and this hotel was in a perfect location. I found it clean and comfortable and it met my needs.
Tired hotel but in good location
No problems but hotel suffered by comparison with others we stayed in this trip
Undergoing building works
real trouble parking! Staff of little help. Restaurant menu extremely limited.
Good hotel in great historic town
A good hotel (maybe a little tired in places) in the delightful historic town of Treviso, away from the hustle and bustle of Venice. Treviso is a great place with lots of lovely cafes, bars and restaurants. Hotel is 5 minutes from station and around 6€ for the 30 minute train journey into Venice. Wouldn't stay in Venice if we came again, Treviso was fab.
Happy to come again.
Nice staff, excellent service, great breakfast.
Terrible night's sleep
As has become custom here in Italy throughout my hotel experiences, the woman working the front desk in the morning was inexplicably hostile and rude.. and I even speak Italian! When I asked to see a print out of my bill before she ran my credit card, she huffed and simply read the charges again from her computer screen. Not feeling up to the task of engaging with her, I simply said okay and paid. More importantly, I was not able to sleep at all for the one night I stayed. The room I was in faced a dead end, which I thought would be ideal, but instead drunken revelers were passing outside my window and were yelling and screaming at all hours of the night. I think its vicinity to the train station makes this likely a common occurrence. On top of this I was not able to control the temperate in the room and was boiling all night. Not worth the cheap price, take my advice and stay elsewhere.
carlton
Do not use the hotel laundry. 42 euro for 3 shirts Also ask fir a room with a real shower
Conveniently placed for town centre
Very pleasant welcome. Comfy room with good bathroom facilities
Hidden secret in Italy!!
This was one of the best stops in Italy!!! Loved the hotel, location and the city!! Would definately trip back to both!!
Great location great city
Great welcome, wonderful location and good night's sleep in comfortable surroundings. Buffet breakfast in the morning delightful, and bar service in the evening lovely way to end the busy day of sightseeing. Will definitely recommend staying at your fine hotel.
Much better than I expected!
This hotel is a bit dated and at first sight I didn't expect a lot. However, the location is really good, free secure parking at rear is a big plus. The room was small but not unusually for an Italian city centre hotel. The bathroom outdated but functioned adequately. The lift and access system is a bit bizarre as seems to be two buildings combined but you get used to it quickly. Was quiet at night, our room overlooked carpark. Breakfast was much better than I'd expected, friendly waitress, some fresh fruit not just tinned, low fat plain yogurt which is uncommon, the usual cereals and juices, ham, cheese, breads and pastries etc & scrambled egg and bacon. Coffee was in flasks but plenty hot water for tea. I've been in more expensive places that were awful. Rosella on reception was exceptionally helpful in alerting me in advance to a double booking and all staff were friendly and helpful. All in all, this was a very good value stopover all things considered as we had an early morning flight. I have made brief stays elsewhere in Treviso and this has been the best experience so far.
Not good for quick stay
We booked this hotel because of the airline deal we got with a budget airline that required us to stay in Treviso overnight. This hotel is great only if you are planning to actually visit Treviso and then a few days later to see Venice, which is 40 minutes away. The hotel idoes NOT have a shuttle service, you need to take the number 6 bus from the aiport and it takes 20 minutes. Taxis are available but quite expensive for just the 4 kilometer ride. Wifi signal in room is weak and costs to use, but there is a lobby computer you can share with others for free to check email. The decor is stylish and everything else about the hotel is quite good, but if you are looking for a quick turnaround, use the hotel across the airport.
excellent location
Our stay was fantastic. The location, close to everywhere in treviso was an asset. The train station is situated few meters away. The staff were very helpful.
good hotel in center of town
3 star hotel in center of town; easy walk to train station (for example take train to Venice) and bus station.Free parking in hotel lot. very accommodating staff. Wi-fi avail in room for 2 euros per day. Good breakfast with wide variety of choices at no charge. Air conditioning provided but rather weak. Good value for price paid.
Business Trip
Close to the airport, clean, good wifi. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Very convenient very close to train station.
Very good. Breakfast was good, easy walking to center of Treviso and train/bus stations. Food/snacks available at night at a reasonable cost.
Treviso hotel for 'rugby weekend' tourists
Hotel was very close to both bus stops (to and from Marco Polo airport, Venice), the bus to the Treviso rugby ground (no.9) and the railway station for trips into Venice. It was a short walk from the town square and well located for shops and restaurants. Staff very helpful and spoke good English, helped with directions etc. Room was comfy enough, breakfast perfectly adequate.
The hotel was central to the town and very convenient to the railway station. The hotel was comfortable
Almost Perfect Hotel
Stayed in the hotel for a rugby trip and can't fault it - was very good. Only small thing was that there was no tea/coffee making facilties in the room.
Fine to use as a quick airport hotel
Hotel was clean & staff friendly. Located in a very handy spot for town centre, although our room looked out onto a busy road intersection. Pillows very hard and buffet breakfast very basic. Shower pumped hot and cold water and the hose was not long enough to reach more than half way up the sliding pole.
Convenient hotel for the town centre and station
A good hotel, centrally located. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Dated and tiny rooms.
Dated and too small. We reserved a family room and the room we received was smaller than most European hotel rooms we reserve for 2.
Good for business
Hotel is located in a central location with easy access to highway and train station. the rooms are nice and confortable with ecception on pillows and matresses : first to small and seconds to hard. Not really a confy bed. the rest was ok.
Due to Elevator repair there was no service for 2 days. We had booked an additional 2 days and they did not advise us of this. We were on the 5th floor. After we argued about it they offered us a room on the 1st floor. There was a long crack in the wall behind the tv and a strong smell of sewage.
ok
molto old style
The bed was no comfortable and it was old
Our room was light and spacious. It also had a big bathroom with a bathtub. We enjoyed nice breakfast either on the veranda or in the dining room and the staff was friendly. It's not far from Venezia. We'd recommend this hotel to you.
Rekommenderar!
Good hotel in nice location.
Accettabile
Hotel nel complesso più che accettabile. La camera, e soprattutto il bagno, dovrebbe essere un po' rinnovato. Nel 2023, avere ancora la vasca da bagno in un hotel a 4 stelle è anacronistico.
Beautiful, clean , dogs welcome.
Alles bestens!
Struttura datata, letti non confortevoli
Nice
A nice hotel, but under renovation, so for instance the elevator didn’t work. Nice room, but I couldn’t get the aircon to work, so I slept with the windows open. Nice breakfast and dinner. Very centrally located.

Well worth consideration
Our stay at the Carlton Hotel was very enjoyable. The staff were all extremely welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Our room was clean and comfortable but perhaps could do with an armchair or two. The housekeeping was excellent. We would certainly stay there again.
