Nothing stands out..the Lady at Deli was condescending when we "popped" to enquire abt Menu or Food..so we didnt want to eat there.. We chose the Tacos down the Road in the Morning, we had French Toast from a Food Truck , close by..

The pool is very small. OK for young children or a quick dip to cool off but no actually swim. There is a pagoda covering it so very little sun until later afternoon. Picture is before the Pagoda and misleading. Right adjacent to parking lot so no privacy. Room is very small for 2 needs but functional. Little room for luggage. We did have a small frig and microwave. No coffee pot but coffee in office. No one spoke English used translator app. Staff nice and friendly. Controls for Tv and AC were confusing and a little glitchy. Very close to airport.

Very clean and comfortable

We have stayed here several times. It is very clean and comfortable. We always have hot water for showers and air conditioning for sleeping well.

Great place for the price.

The room was nice and clean. Modest but all we needed. The breakfast at the restaurant at the Inn was very good.

I just enjoy it

The rooms are clean. The staff are wonderful. The area that it's in has very limited dining or shopping. There is a small convenience store a couple of blocks down the street and I happen to find a guy selling tacos on the street that were very very delicious but other than that, I didn't see anywhere to eat or shop and I don't quite think it's worth $70 a night but with the free shuttle to the airport was what I needed in the room was clean and the bed was comfortable so it worked out wonderful

I stayed here at the start/end of my Baja cycling trip. The staff are friendly and accommodating, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the beds are very comfortable. Perhaps the only negatives are that dining options are somewhat limited in the area, and I found the room to be quite bright at night with the exterior lights coming through even with the blinds drawn. However those are minor and overall it was a great stay, would recommend it.

Loud music until midnight. Close to airport but had to wake up at 5 am. Batteries in the TV remote dead. Toilet didn’t flush. Staff was accommodating

We had to book a room last minute because our flight canceled. The service agent was very helpful to accommodate 5 of us.

Nice clean hotel friendly staff. Pool is clean. A few snags. The heater in my room didn’t work but they gave me an extra blanket. Iron didn’t work but they replaced it. Resto has great breakfast and friendly lady cooking. This is a hotel for an overnight stay not more than that. There is nothing in the area you have to cab downtown. If you’re looking for proximity to San Jose or Cabos san Lucas do not stay here. If it’s an overnighter its superb.

The staff is excellent. I asked for a refrigerator. It does not have a microwave. I found only one soap bar. Found hair conditioner but no shampoo. Found roaches.

A hidden gem

My wife and I stayed at the Cactus Inn Los Cabos and had a great stay. We stayed one night and took the free transsport to the airport the next morning. And I do mean morning. They gave us a 3:30 A.M. wake up and the van was there to take us to the airport for3:45 We got to the airport quickly. The check in and check out was fast and easy. We stayed in unit 3 which was patio. The bed was unbelieveably comfortable and the room very very clean. The shower was great and refreshing. Had plenty of hot water. I would definitely stay there again

We stay there every year when we fly into SJD before heading to our winter home in La Ventana

Super nice, clean and safe place to stay close to the airport in San Jose Del Cabo. We stay here for a night or sometimes two every fall when we come down for the winter.

It was very unprofessional service, trying to charge us more for stay. Then get into room and was infested with roaches. Very noises couldn’t get any rest we needed. Had to share a couch bc we didn’t want to sleep in bed

We stay at Hotel Cactus Inn when we are coming into Los Cabos before driving the the East Cape area. Prices are resonable, it's always clean and safe and the staff has always been excellent . Highly recommended!

Being so close to the airport, Cactus Inn was fine for an overnight stay between flights. It was clean and confortable, with some nice touches like paintings on the wall and updated fixtures. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it offered free shuttle service to SJD, but I could never get a hold of them to arrange pickup - even through the hotels.com app. I'd definitely stay again if circumstances presented.

This was one of the best Mexican hotels we've ever stayed at. So clean! Comfortable beds and rooms. The staff were amazing. Incredibly friendly and helpful. We spent a week enjoying their hospitality. Thank you so much.What a treat!

There were many barking dogs and it was very loud. Water was shut off twice in the time we were there. Restaurant was not open for breakfast. I would never go back!

It is a nice property but no additional things like coffee maker or fridge, TV did not work. Staff were nice room clean, sheets and towels old and very worn. Lot of money for what was supplied

This is a great low budget stay, close to the airport. It was very clean and well maintained. It is not a 5 star hotel but very much enjoyed my short stay. Used by lots of cyclists as they begin or end their journey. Will stay here on return portion!

Great place to stay for a night, close to airport - free shuttle. Not much around, dirt side streets, dogs, roosters, traffic noise. Staff is very accommodating. Room was clean and provided overnight amenities such as tooth brushes, tooth paste shampoo etc. About $140 mxn for uber to san jose town center. overall would recommend for one or 2 nights.

This was an inexpensive hotel close to the airport. The road was noisy but the rooms were clean and comfortable.

Nothing fancy but very convenient and clean. We walked to a taco shop for dinner and felt safe even in the dark.

Parking was very limited. The restaurant on the property was not open and there were no options within walking distance. Luckily, we had a car and the receptionist was very helpful in recommending a really good local taqueria.

It was implied that there was food available nearby. It was a street taco stand located two blocks away. Area is mostly dirt streets although the street that runs through the motel is paved. Parking is free only while checked into the motel.

Cactus Inn is close to the airport, and the staff were friendly and helpful. There is a high pitch noise associated with the pool that is awful. On request it was turned off during the night, but had to be restarted in the morning. Great cup of coffee in the office.

The property is in a questionable neighborhood, the hotel however is ok for the price. it is good because it’s close to the airport. TV remote trouble but they fixed it. It is good for a night. Is clean. Never saw the shuttle.

Staff was courteous and professional. We were there during hurricane Norma and they kept the lights on with generators.

The hotel is great, the staff is friendly, but when we booked the room they said breakfast was included but when we got here they said it wasn't. Please don't advertise free breakfast if there isn't actually breakfast included.

The property is fine, the language barrier is a challenge. The property is fine though. It would be nice to have some more modern stores close by, but it’s fine

We chose the cactus inn because it is close to the airport and they have a shuttle. The staff is friendly, our room was clean and everything worked. We will stay here again.

On all the sites this hotel is advertised, say they have 24/7 Airport Transfer,, they DO NOT! We waited at the airport,,,for their shuttle, finally took a taxi. There’s a breakfast place that’s yummy,,, the bed was comfortable,, the pool is a small pond.

Do not book this place...When we first arrived we were charged 50.00 dollars more after the person checking us in called her boss on the phone. Once checked in she gave us our key when we went to room someone elses things were in there. Went back to let her know she went to look and said nothing and gave us a different room key. We went to our room, knew we were not staying there because of uncleanliness of room, toilet was running and bed looked dingy. To top it off chain lock on door was put on upside down so if someone tried to open door from outside it just fell off. Had them call us a cab and checked in to nicer hotel five minutes away.

Very inexpensive hotel

Everything you need close to airport. Cactus Inn is also owned by Cactus Car Rental. They offer free shuttles from car rental to inn and inn to airport. Rooms were clean. Free water/juices/sodas at the reception.

Great location and amenities to launch our Baja bikepacking trip!

It was fine? But for the price, not good. It’s conveniently close to the airport, so that’s a bonus. The room wasn’t very clean, with a lot of mystery stains. Some outlets didn’t work, the inside of the fridge was dirty, there’s a coffee maker in the room but no mugs, just some odd things like that. The best part of it was breakfast - Monica made me the most perfect plate and was so lovely, it was the best part of the stay. Also note, there is no ATM anywhere nearby (closest is the airport) and a lot of places only take cash, so come prepared. Also restaurants in the area do not serve alcohol - we tried a few (not a dealbreaker just something we found interesting). So, I guess it was fine in a pinch but wouldn’t recommend it.

Nice quiet hotel on a quiet street near the airport. A breakfast spot associated with the hotel and free shuttle service to the airport. We stayed one night.

Perfect stay night before leaving to airport.

The place is inexpensive the photos make it look nicer than it really is. There was an old musty couch in the hotel room that seem dirty. Although the sheets and towels were cleaned they were stains. However the floors and the bathroom were spotless. This property is less expensive and privately owned that's why I picked it.

Shuttles to and from airport are great. Hotel staff stored our bike luggage while we were touring.

The desk lady and googltranslator ordered dinner delivered from a local pizza place. She was very helpful. I sure wish my Spanish was better!

Okay for one night stay while waiting for a flight. Difficult to find food or a restaurant nearby if you are not driving. Free airport shuttle is a nice add on to this simple hotel.

This was a little place close to the airport that was very well kept. We had the pool to ourselves. A great " lets find a place close to the airport for our last night." They had a free shuttle. You could tell the pride the staff took in the place.

Place was friendly, and clean, biggest tv of all the places I stayed. Quickest check in etc. Just concerned about the area when we drove in. Was very dark and not well marked.

Colorful clean comfy

Perfect for a one night stay near the airport in an ordinary neighborhood with eateries nearby. Clean, quiet and comfortable.

It was close to the airport, also there was transport nearby. I did not like the fact the toilet was very small.

The sheets were dirty and there was loud noise all night from the surrounding area - I think firecrackers? It seemed sketchy and I can't imagine anyone ever using that pool.

What a gem!

We loved this gem of an inn. Pool, huge tv, internet ok, parking right outside our room off the street and behind walls. Clean and comfy bed!

This was okay for a "budget" place. The air conditioner was very loud. There was a coffee machine but no coffee. When we used our own, we didn't realize that without a lid, the water would not run through to the coffee pot, and we almost created a major mess!

The staff very friendly, inn clean just loved it. Would stay again.

I would like tell us about the restaurant

It was one of our 4 hotels we used during our vacation in Los Cabos. The taxi driver, picking us up from there, thought i booked it by mistake because it is kind of in the middle of nowhere. But not. I did book it for our first 2 nights because i liked how authentic it looked. And it is very cute hotel with a swimming pool. The room was small but the beds were comfortable. There was a small fridge. The staff was very friendly. Yes, it is far from attractions or restaurants. We took a bus to go to San Jose, but it is very close to the airport. And the hotel has 24 hour check in. So, i think it is perfect to stay at least for one night if you come not in the afternoon to check in other hotels. And it is convinient for flying out since it is so close to the airport.

The staff was extremely nice. The shuttle driver was very accommodating. However, the room had a lot of ants..everywhere. The shower had hair in it, not ours. There were several empty beer bottles under the sink, The remote for the tv did not work (I just hooked up my iPad) and the remote for the air conditioner worked kinda with a couple taps the screen would come on. There seem to be no sound barrier to what was happening outside and the neighbor building’s dogs barked until quite late and then started back up in the am (glad I had a sound machine to drown everything out). The bed was quite comfortable but that was about it. I was puzzled by the high remarks for cleanliness in this place. There were several places to eat within walking distance that were cheap and delicious and a tiny market across the street catty-corner to get water and such. It was doable for the price I guess. Maybe we just got a bad room. They were very nice there and in their defense I never asked for new remotes.

Well maintained unit. Basic clean accommodations. Looks like newly upgraded. Quiet neighborhood very close to airport. Used translator app on cell phone to ask questions. Very friendly staff. They even called a restaurant for us and ordered our dinner delivered. Would definitely return and would recommend for staying during flight stopover

it is ok, if you are catching a plane the next day, there was a coffee maker with no coffee in the room, and the cord wouldn't reach the plug. n restaurants in the area,

Double charged

Was charged for room on credit card, receptionist said that it didn’t go through & that I had to pay US cash. My room was booked in Canadian dollars & when they converted from Mexican pesos to American dollars, the price was higher than what I had booked it for. I showed them my current visa account statement showing that I was charged for hotel room on my visa. They said that they didn’t receive the visa payment & would not refund the US cash that I had paid.

English not spoken here but we managed to communicate. The Deli had good made to order but again hard to communicate.
