Good for price

Always love our stay at Boulder Creek!

Great value for the price and close to where we needed to be. The staff was super kind and it was very helpful to have breakfast provided in the morning!

I don’t usually have unrealistic expectations, but the reviews from others are really misleading. This hotel is so outdated. We stayed in the double queen. It was clean but very old and shabby. There were no headboards on the beds. Seems like a trivial thing, but it was really weird. The beds were so uncomfortable. My daughter said it was like sleeping on a piece of stale bread. Pretty accurate! The breakfast was meh. We ended up eating at the ski resort. All in all, we would not stay here again. This is a true 2 star hotel…think Motel 6 (but even Motel 6 has headboards…just sayin’)

I will stay here again

I was pleasantly surprised how nice this place was for a low-cost hotel. It was very clean (far cleaner than the motel 6’s I stayed at earlier in this trip), it was not run down. The bed was really comfortable, and I was happy to have a kitchenette that I didn’t expect. The breakfast was nothing special, but I also didn’t expect that for the cost I paid. All in all I was really happy.

There were dogs roaming free. There was a lot of ice in the parking lot. The staff was excellent. Helped us find a place to eat. Stairs posed a challenge that is not listed online. The hallway and lounge area were very loud. It was rough to get ground.

Great stay

This is a fine hotel for the price. Clean sheets & the heater worked. The shower definitely could have been better!! At least the mist of water was hot! You’re getting a budget friendly hotel in a resort area.

Clean rooms, friendly service, cozy atmosphere!

Everyone there is I was so sweet. It could use some update, but it’s a great place. It’s always clean and how me feeling.

We have been using Boulder Creek Inn for several years to come snowboarding at tamarack and we have always had a good experience, staff is friendly laid back and professional. The price is great compared to other options in the area. Its easy to find close to tamarack

Super clean

Staff were very nice. Hard to regulate heat in room.

The Inn is very close to places to eat and shop. With all the snow, we enjoyed Tamarac and Brundage

For 80 buck a night I can’t complain. Bed was stiff as a board though. Room was clean a little outdated but did the job. I also thought the heater smelled odd when I turned it on. 6.5/10

We rented the triple room one and it was very convenient for us loved the room so spacious they even had a little kitchenette and it was very clean thank you

Rock Creek Inn - clean and quaint

Quick overnight stay. The facility is clean, the staff were friendly and helpful. The facility is a little rustic, which is fine, the room was very clean and well appointed.

Room very clean, staff very helpful, the price was right, only problem was in the bathroom the door frame was scratched up. Appears due to dog damage in the past. Will recommend this place. Have already recommended this place

Everything was great staff friendly just got to the place after 3 pm which was our check in time and still had to wait an extra 30 minutes for it to be ready and the bed was just hard could use better mattress. But overall it is a great place to be well kept good atmosphere.

This is convenient to Tamarack and surrounding area. Bed was a hard for my liking.

This is a good older hotel. Not big on amenities but has everything.

Nice property on the edge of town. It's nicely remodeled with wood floors. All the furniture is handmade wood, from logs. Clean, quiet and close to town.

The room was small but acceptable. The pet area was very gross. It has so much potential but it's just an overgrown turd station. The breakfast situation was very limited and crowded.

Breakfast was not the best, but everything else was good.

The staff made sure to accommodate us per our request and made sure to have our key available as we arrived late.

I think other patrons should follow the quiet time policy after 9:00. Children were running up and down the hallway until 10:30.

Our room was the biggest and it was really nice. Really clean. It was really pretty quiet for a hotel. The only thing i didn't love was the 2 staircases... that was mostly because wr had just done a 13 mile hike and we were hurting. Our fault, really. The staff was really super sweet and friendly. I would recommend for sure

Easy check in, beautiful view. This is our 2nd stay there we would like to see a better breakfast such as eggs, bacon, waffles, juice bar. Otherwise great stay!

A good place for access and convenience but limited options in walking distance. Price is right compared to other place in the area. Upkeep needs a gardeners touch. Bed was a little hard.

The gentleman helped us carry our luggage up to the third floor, which was really helpful, because 3 of us have a hard time going upstairs and going down, that was one of the best rooms we have stayed in during our vacation

Quiet and Friendly

We had a great stay at Boulder Creek Inn! The two things that I love the most were that it was nice and quiet and the staff are wonderful! Very helpful staff and did I mention it was quiet? Nice complimentary breakfast and the rooms were a nice size. Also I like white noise at night so I can sleep and the fan quality was great! Definitely will stay here again in the future. Thanks, Boulder Creek Inn!

Early Check-in

We arrived early at our motel so we asked if we could check in. Because our room hadn't been used the day before the receptionist allowed us to check in four hours early. Our room was large, comfortable, and quiet. We had two large queen beds which were very comfortable. In the morning there was a generous self-serve breakfast available and fresh coffee. We had a pleasant stay and the desk clerks were friendly and helpful.

Desk clerk was very helpful with food recommendations and friendly.

This was a fine place to stay. Neither awful nor great. The staff was super nice, but the breakfast was sub par & never fully ready on time during our 6 mornings there. The room was clean and we had all we needed, so I would recommend it if you aren't super picky. It met our needs.

Great inn in small town

Always like to stay in the best hotel in the small town. Staff are friendly, service is the best, and rooms are comfortable.

The hotel was a great stop over on our trip through McCall. Breakfast was 7-9 am. Wish it started one hour earlier. Also, be aware there is no elevator. But cleanliness is my top priority, so I was happy.

Friendly staff, clean property!

Plenty of free parking is nice. Hated how there was a hard stop for breakfast at 10, even though the food provided was grab and go packaged items like oatmeal, cereals, etc. all of which stay visible and within reach throughout the day and evening. Having a staff member stand guard and refuse for us to take what is readily and visibly available plus already included in the hotel stay was extremely frustrating and nonsensical.

Weekend getaway

Property was clean and very user-friendly staff was nice central location for all of our activities in the valley.

We just used the room to get ready for a wedding and it was very nice

Exorbitantly priced for the standard of hotel that it is. Marginal establishment at best. The gentleman at the front desk was quite helpful, I will say.

Convenient to Cascade Lake, this was easy to access, however the bed was rock hard and the air didn’t stay on consistently. Breakfast in the morning was all pre-packaged food, which wasn’t very appealing. In the morning, the man at the front desk without his shirt and showing his nipple piercing felt oddly inappropriate. Staff were relatively friendly and the room was clean.

Morning staff was very friendly. Dog friendly establishment. Had microwave and mini refrigerator in room with coffee maker. Vending machines were near empty. Breakfast foods were okay. All were either pre-packaged microwavable foods or fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, milk, or juice options. Rooms were clean and neat. King size bed was a very comfortable memory foam mattress. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to get away from the big city and have a nice quiet place to go and relax in the mountains.

Close to recreation in the area

Small town & Simple

Very courteous service, not fancy, but simple and enough for an overnight stay. The staff treated us kindly, efficiently, and we enjoyed our room.

The man that checked us in was very nice. Otherwise it was terrible. Our room had a sink drip that could not be turned off. The walls had chipped paint and the back of the toilet was broken. They didn’t lock the exits at night. Our room was not locked when we entered. The breakfast was cereal and Jimmy Dean microwave sandwiches. Our key card stopped working at 7 am. I took the dog out to the bathroom at that time and couldn’t get back to my room. I had to knock and wake my family. There was no one at the front desk the entire morning to help. We had to downgrade the room because we had a pet. We still have the same priced bill, even though we were promised it would be less. The blankets pillows and towels were all very clean and they gave plenty of all three. We didn’t have to ask for more.
