Excellent customer service and hotel quality

Excellent hotel: Staff always help with any problems or queries without hesitation, friendly, helpful and high quality designer rooms and amenities. Rooftop bar and restaurant very good. Have extended our stay by a week and booked again to come back in 2 months. Will try the spa treatments this coming week.

Great hotel

Beautiful hotel, staff very friendly. Rooms clean and well designed. Restaurant food was good, cocktails on the rooftop bar at sunset superb. Only thing I’d change is curtains were very thin and light, so very bright, very early!

This is a beautiful hotel, staff are wonderful. Very welcoming and friendly. It is very modern and chic with beautiful views from the 360 bar and restaurant on the 8th floor. Food and drink quality was also very good. It is in a great location with a short walk to the beach, restaurants and bars. We would highly recommend this hotel.

This is a great hotel with high standards from their level of service to the food and cocktails. I he rooms are spacious and luxurious and the location is excellent, a short walk to the beach, Yumbo, Cita and La Sandia shopping centres. The staff are all friendly and they make your stay even better with that little bit extra they give. This is by far one of the best hotels in this part of the island and I have stayed in many of them.

Great hotel with lovely staff. They reached out to us before check-in to ask if we needed special pillows or yoga equipment in the room, as well if there were allergies or dietary preferences. The whole hotel smells so good, like the toiletries they use. The mattress, pillows, and bedding are super comfortable. Good breakfast in ambient roofrop setting. Fatima at breakfast is incredibly nice and attentive. At check-out, they gave us local snacks to have on the journey back. Highly recommend!

Was an excellent location and the staff were welcoming and helpful.

We absolutely loved the Bohemia Suites. We were given the last lodge which had a spa on the balcony and views of the ocean. The staff were simply delightful.

Very good hotel high quality rooms and pools are very nice breakfast very good with great views over the sea / dunes. Only poor thing was having dinner one night they didn't have any fresh fish so we left and went to a cafe down near the sea.

Perfect property for an all around great and comfortable stay in Maspalomas. Great location, amazing amenities and outstanding staff.

Excellent art and design themed 5 star hotel. Have been coming to this hotel for a number of years and aside from being the luxury hotel in the area and walkable to almost anywhere, it’s the staff that are superb. Kind, friendly, and funny you’ll find people who have worked here for years- like Christian at the front desk and Fatima in the restaurant. This hotel is a true gem, with 5 star service across food, pools, and room design.

Week in Gran Canaria

Hotel was good overall, but lacked in consistency with management. Did not like the allocation of breakfast times (which were not policed), guests reserving sunbed early in the morning, and also sun bathing topless. All of which are against hotel’s policy. Communication regarding construction work around the pool would have been appreciated.

This hotel was beautiful the staff were friendly and helpful the area was fantastic for bars and restaurants and the rooftop bar and restaurant in the hotel were a must with fantastic views across maspalomas you also got to make good use of this at breakfast would highly recommend this hotel for couples and cannot wait to come bake here again

Maybe not worth the premium suites for the money

It was a great hotel. The only thing that let us down was that the hotel was not able to accomodate our request for late check out although we paid premium in staying in one of their corner suite. All the staff were super friendly and welcoming.

What makes this hotel really amazing is the staff, everyone is friendly, helpful and attentive, from reception, to bar staff, to restaurant staff, they are all very eager to help and provide a great service, that makes the stay a very pleasant time.

The only complaint I had was that the room was very hot at night. There was no ability to control the temperature of the room beyond preset levels by the hotel.

weekend away to the sun. what a great place!roof top restaurant to be seen day and night. not cheap, shame spa only open for private bookings but a good gym too. would go back!

Nice hotel and good restaurant. Pool area quite small but OK. Suite was great and friendly staff. Local restaurants are OK but nothing special. Beach is good and sand dunes are amazing! Plus great weather for November (coming from the UK that is).

The hotel is well appointed in a quiet area with great views of the beach within short walking distance. Staff are friendly and the breakfast was very good on the eight floor restaurant with outstanding morning views. Rooms are a very generous size with views of the beach and the dunes. Bar pool service is good and efficient, although the pool areas are not very big compared to other hotels in the area. One caution is that Expedia are using a visual to promote the deluxe double room with is misleading as it’s not the room that is provided. We were provided with a much smaller double room ( suitable for single occupancy ) which was not the visual room we thought we were booking on the Expedia site. We know this as we had to upgrade at a cost to the larger room which we had thought we had booked originally. Once in this room we were happy with the hotel as it was the size / standard we had expected when booking with an outstanding view. Additionally we requested a late check out which was not given which was disappointing as is one of the Expedia gold benefits. We also had treatments in the spa which we’re fine by an experienced therapist and used the gym which is well equipped. All in all I would recommend this to travellers who want a quiet hotel with good service and impressive rooms, just ensure you are clear what room you are booking as most rooms are much larger than normal hotel rooms which is half the reason for booking at this unique hotel.

The property was lovely, the pool and outdoor areas were great for relaxing. However we had a lot of issues getting served at the rooftop bar. It felt like we were ignored every time we went up or had to wait a really long time to order a drink. Rooms were very clean but I was quite disappointed the shower door was see through - not everyone likes that :(

Fantastic hotel with great rooms, amenities, and very friendly team. Restaurant/bar area on top of the hotel was really nice with great views. Pool area always chilled and plenty of space. Food was particularly good. We will definitely be back!

Great hotel in a perfect location and very kind and caring staff.

We've returned to the Bohemia for a second winter break. This might have to become an annual thing! Really enjoyed our stay. Pool facilities were good, excellent breakfast service and half board at the restaurant was enjoyable. We also had a personal note and bottle of Cava waiting in the room which was a nice gesture. Hope to return again next year :)

Excellent hotel, friendly staff, great room.

Exceptional mid to higher level hotel in Playa del Ingles. Room decor and design is modern and great shower! The best part is the level of service and friendliness of staff, who all seemed very happy in their work. Not the cheapest place but very good value nonetheless for what you get - will return

The service was splendid, waiters very attentive, food very much fine dining The only (big) snag was our neighbouring room smokers meant we couldn’t use our balcony and so had to keep the doors shut when they smoked

The Bohemia has great staff a lovely spa, serves a wonderful breakfast and has very comfortable rooms. It is a very comfortable relaxing place with a good resteraunt pools and cocktail bar.

Cosy, friendly, clean, good facilities. Sometimes slow to get a poolside drink if staff busy with other things. Apart from that - fantastic.

Really beautiful hotel with friendly staff. Ideally located

Stayed on first floor new rooms - first 2 days had no air con, this was repeatedly worked on and eventually started to work however very weak. The bed was very comfortable however extremely tight to get into and out of. The gap was so tight had to walk sideways and brush against the tv mounted in the wall. The molten brown toiletries were in short supply and never replenished. Both the containers in the shower cubicle were empty. The free water was a nice touch however after asking for a bottle opener twice when it got delivered to the room it was removed the next day. The beach towels were very nice quality but then swapped out day 2 for cheaper version. I over all thought the room wasn’t value for money. Breakfast - amazing, quality of food, service outstanding Pool bar- again service amazing, retired snacks but wasn’t impressed, drinks expensive but well presented Reception- friendly and helpful My biggest issue was the spa and indoor pool which had to be booked in advance and at an extra cost. I don’t see any mention of this on Expedia and clearly says spa access Not sure why you pay for a spa hotel not to be able to use when you want, understandable charge for treatments but not just to use the pool. All in all had a relaxing time, the staff make the hotel, the policy’s and amenities would need to be reviewed for me to return as feel there’s better value on the island.

Bohemia Suites an Oasis of calm.

A great hotel if you want a quieter location near the action. The rooms, staff and facilities were among the best available.

We really loved our stay at Bohemia. The staff were amazing and the hotel is comfortable. Our ocean view room was a good size and the balcony allowed us to wake up to a sea breeze every day. Initially we weren't sure about selecting half board, but there was plenty variety for a week's stay. A friend joined us in the Atelier cocktail bar one night and this is definitely something I'd recommend checking out during your stay. Great hotel and we're very likely to plan another trip next winter!

Good stay as always

Bohemia Suites good as always. Staff friendly and helpful as always. Some works going on to some rooms on 1st floor, a little noise but nothing detrimental, most noticeable was dust / debris on hall / stairwell carpet, which didn’t cause problem just detracted slightly from quality appearance of hotel. Some of the staff not quite ‘up to speed’ with the usual high quality of service that is the norm at Bohemia, but the majority as efficient, friendly and helpful as always! Bohemia remains my ‘go to’ place on Gran Canaria!

Simply stunning!

Having stayed at a few other of the 5 star hotels on the island, no other comes close to this. The rooms and suites are sumptuously fitted with B&O TVs and Molten Brown toiletries. The staff through the whole hotel are friendly and attentive especially in the roof top bar and restaurant which also has amazing food and beverage offerings matched only by the stunning panoramic views. Finally the hotel is located both near the beach and also a short walk to either the Yumbo centre or the Cita centre.

Great Maspalomas hotel

This was a great option in Maspalomas and we enjoyed our stay. Some of the amenities were reduced either due to the season or because of the pandemic but otherwise the room and hotel were excellent.

Not enough staff. Poor food. This is a 3 star hotel

Great service, great location, meh AC.

Amazing service. The only issue was the AC. It was super hot and we found it tough to sleep. They have a setting where the minimum is 22.

This hotel is good, but it's not a 5 star hotel with 5 star service. There's a lot of no, a lot of inconsistency, and a lot of odd rules for what they do and don't do that make your stay there much less enjoyable than it could be.

Awesome hotel, great location.

What a wonderful hotel with outstanding service and welcoming staff! The rooms were very comfortable with quirky features such as seating that lights up on the balcony. I particularly enjoyed the floatation pool and there were plenty of quiet spots to sit out and enjoy the Gran Canaria sun. The hotel is only a ten minute walk to the beach and the Yumbo centre. The view at breakfast was breathtaking and there was plenty of items to select from. Would 100% recommend this hotel.

Fun design & Super helpful staff!

Fun design & Super helpful staff! I really enjoyed my stay. The staff organised everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Even booked my PCR test. The only downside was that other holiday guest would reserve the sun lounges before breakfast so that wasn’t so much place to layby the pool. So I would ask that the pool staff reinforce that rule more. Otherwise highly recommend this place!

Stayed here during Coronavirus and was last guest to leave. They took extra good care of us, despite never having access to the facilities the duration of our stay. Super wonderful staff. Great view. Rooms could have been cleaned a bit better, and the toilets were a bit gross... Breakfast was amazing everyday. The restaurant, not so much.

We arrived a little late due to delayed flight, but our welcome was good; efficient,pleasant staff explained all that we needed as quickly as possible so that we could go and rest! Hotel is in a good area, 10 minutes walk to the beach, which is beautiful, and the Maspalomas Dunes. Great fun! Swimming pool is a good size and there is a warm jacuzzi too. There are two smaller pools to the side of the property with plenty of sunbeds. Food in the restaurant was good and the staff very helpful. Breakfast was buffet style with a very good selection and also eggs etc to order. There is a hotel car which can be hired for days out. There is a spa too, but we did not use this so cannot comment. All in all, I would recommend this for a relaxing break. Not far from the town ammenities and also, if you have a car, the beautiful countryside is not far away!

This is a stunning hotel with and equally stunning spa. The service is fantastic and the breakfast is to die for. I would definitely return. The room had everything and was beautifully designed and the bed was very comfy.

One of the best hotel stays ever. The property is beautiful and the staff could not be better. We have done a lot of traveling and this property is on the top of the list. Don’t even hesitate to book a room. The view and the breakfast was the best ever.

The rooms are very very small and even with 2 persons you can not both use the bathroom. the spa is a spa if you pay extra for this. This is false advertisement. We wanted to use it and went downstairs to use the sauna but a employee told us that our room did not pay for it. so you can only use the outdoor swimming pool and the gym which is poor of equipment.

Excellent standard of accommodation and super-efficient and friendly staff

We stayed at this property for 10/11 nights. The rooms were nicely designed and very functional, but the regular-sized room is a bit cramped for two people, when you are used to comparable North American sized properties. The king sized bed was very comfortable and the hotel was quiet (even though it was over 90% full), so we always had good sleeps. Daily breakfast in the restaurant on the 8th floor was fantastic, the service was great and welcoming and there was an enormous variety of high quality foods. The view from the restaurant over the dunes and the beaches was outstanding and so the breakfast provided a great start to every day. The location of the hotel in Playa del Ingles is very convenient, relatively close to the beach, the promenade, the Yumbo Centre (with many excellent restaurants), and even close to the bus stops. Internet was okay, but one small concern is the limit on the number of devices that can be logged on. The general facilities, the various swimming pools, the free yoga classes were all of high quality.

Very pleasant ambience, nice staff . Room more cramped than expected, sea view significantly obstructed by other large blocks. Constant bass music din from nearby beach bars got wearing. 8th floor cocktail bar very chic & great views.

The 360 rooftop lounge and restaurant were amazing. The food and the cocktails. Room could be more spacious and ventilation could be more efficient. Very friendly staff and very convenient location walking distance of main attractions.

Great stay but just a few suggestions ?

Very enjoyable. I have given the full5 previously but have given slightly less for the following reasons : The WiFi was very bad throughout the hotel (in the room, around the pool area's) etc. The mobile phone signal often showed 1 to 0 bars. In the end we complained and had a personal 'AP' put in our room to improve the signal. Although the daily complimentary bottled water is appreciated, we usually got it delivered at the optimum time of 10pm although we could have asked for it earlier (we got missed out one night too). As a suggestion, drinkable water fountains might be a good idea for customers to fill up when the water runs out (which we did regularly). There was also confusion when we ordered iced lemon tea and regular lemon tea which ended up with a bit of 'attitude' from the female bar staff who served us. In my opinion, the ice tea's, which cost approx. 4 Euros tasted like 'water' hardly any taste or flavour and definitely not worth 4 Euro's which was basically water with a bit of ice and mint leaf ! Other than that, it was a lovely place and exceptional note to the hard working, customer focused breakfast team who couldn't do enough despite being extremely busy. The 360 restaurant is a must !

Fab hotel

The stay was may excellent from checking till checkout. The hotel is in an excellent location close to the beach couldn’t fault it. Would stay here again if I came back to gran caneria.

Unfriendly oppressive place

Lovely hotel, shame about a few of their staff and inconsistent and oppressive policies. The hotel bar and restaurant are open to the public, meaning it’s hard to get a spot in the evening. All day Saturday they have a DJ pumping tunes across the hotel, and the pool is open to the public. And yet when I had a friend over for cocktails, it wasn’t an issue the first time on the Tuesday and second time on the Saturday morning before the DJ, I was told it isn’t allowed. Similarly with someone visiting my room, sometimes okay and other times not allowed. And there is no privacy, it’s creepy how much they watch you! It’s a shame because the hotel really is nice and some of their team are so friendly and helpful! Sadly there is no W or Hard Rock Hotel in Maspalomas, and I thought this looked like a good equivalent. With the My Way branding, cocktail bar, and DJs. But the way those hotels welcome you and encourage friends (as you’re going to spend more money) is absolutely not how Bohemia behave. A change of management and this place could be the top spot in Gran Can. And it seems many others have had similar problems, when I told people where I was staying, there was consistently a story of some sort of issue from weird additional charges to their oppressive approach with things. Amazing gym, great pools, brilliant view.

Marvellous staff

Nice hotel close to beach with fab rooftop bar

I really enjoyed the hotel. The customer service was fantastic. Location was walking distance to beach and surf class. Beds and pillows were comfy, nice balcony. Room is a little on the small side but I would pick it again. Great breakfast with beautiful views (rooftop), nice pool, nice fitness center.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Particularly loved breakfast at the restaurant.

Second visit and would go back

This was my second visit to this hotel and I'll go back again. The staff are friendly and helpful. The only thing I would suggest is updating the films, as they were the same as the year before.

Lovely stay, horrible wardrobe

I loved the pool side menu. I got sunburnt when checking in because of the sun. I lost my earplug in the swimmingpool. I got a towel trapped in both sides of the wardrobe. The bathroom was too dark, I couldn’t see. I like gnomes. Breakfast was eggs and musli. The view was great. I couldn’t work the do not disturb sign. They needed our car key for the car park and I didn’t really understand why.

The hotel is amazing. Never had cocktails so perfectly presented before. Just a perfect experience for a romantic break.

Comfortable stay in a modern and quiet hotel

The hotel stands out from the mega hotels and older apartment blocks which surround it. It is modern, quiet and relaxing place to be, only a few minutes from the beach and promenade. Very friendly service from all staff at check in and through out my stay. The room is very well laid out and has everything you would need and more. Disappointed not to have a higher room with a better view considering the hotel was only around half full. Pool areas very nice and different places to relax. The view from the dining area and bar on the top floor is superb. Breakfast staff very good as was the cold food. However, the hot food was terrible (sausage was a frankfurter and bacon was almost inedible). I only had a short stay but would happily have stayed longer. It is on the expensive side, but in comparison to other options in the area, feel is is just about justified.

Great holiday

On arrival at Bohemia suites & spa commentary welcome drinks of your choice were given. Julia gave us a guided tour around the hotel including 360 degrees restaurant which was breathtaking. A tablet was given so you could contact reception, make dinner and Spa reservation from your room or where ever you are on Gran Canaria. The hotel decor was good however, I found decor in room and reception quite dark. We walked to the nearby beech on the fringes of Atlantic Ocean and walked along the dunes of Maspalomas which was beautiful.

Great hotel, really loved our stay!

Really great hotel! Personalised service on checkin, with a tour of the hotel and facilities. Very friendly staff all the time. Great extra touches like a tablet with built in wi-fi hotspot for use on the beach etc, bed was done each night, everything was done very nicely. We also had the breakfast and dinner included, which was great - very lovely restaurant on the roof with great views and very nice food. You have to book each night for dinner though (as it's a proper menu, not a buffet), so book early for Friday night! The service was a bit slow during busy times though, and one night it was extremely slow :( We also had the romantic extras of champagne with strawberries, and roses on the bed which was expensive but really great - my girlfriend loved it! :) Hotel is easy walking distance to the beach, plus it has two different pool areas.

Nice hotel, good location.

This hotel was really nice, I paid an extra $300 for ocean view which was ridiculous. The rooms are super small, they are actually very uncomfortable. Knowing what i know now i would of stayed in Las Palmas instead of this area. This city has a lack of authenticity. I also ordered food service from this hotel twice and both times the food was ridiculously overpriced and both times the food lacked flavor. So not a great place to have a great culinary experience.

Fantastic Hotel with exceptional staff. Great location just a short walk to beach. Very good wellness area which was never busy. The rooftop bar serve amazing cocktails but you sometimes have to wait a while to be served as it gets quite busy at times. Adults Only :)

V relaxing hotel and chilled approach.

Great hotel - v stylish and suites v comfortable with great storage. Reception and breakfast staff very personable and a generally chilled hotel. A few tweaks could make this hotel and experience even more outstanding. Breakfasts are great but the menu in the rooftop and beach bars is very limited, particularly if you are vegetarian and food choice and quality was mixed if you wanted lunch/a snack. staff to take orders by the pool would be great!

Amazing hotel with great staff

This hotel is convienirntly located about 5 mins away from the beach and 5 mins from the jumbo centre. Staff are so attentive, helpful and friendly. Rooftop bar/restaurant is lovely and breakfast has lots of options with a great view to wake to. Room was large, very comfortable king bed with a nightly turn down service. Highly recommended!
