An ideal hotel in Brno.

The staff were excellent, the building was beautiful, the rooms were generously sized, and the location is superb. I’ve stayed here before and would do so again.

Hotel is easy to access by public transportation. It's just a few bus stops from main station & it's located in close proximity to bus stop. So easy to hop onto transit and acces train to Prague. Hotel is clean and has interior architecture like a castle. Room is spacious, clean and has alll thats needed for your stay. Staff is friendly, courteous and very helpful. If I should visit Brno again, this is where I'm staying.

Wonderful!!

A wonderful hotel in the perfect location, great service and comfortable rooms. The Atrium is divine and musicians played there most evenings, such a fabulous way to end the day.

This property recently changed its name to “Grand Palace” - the name fits as we felt like royalty staying there! Wonderful staff, lovely and clean facilities and fantastic location. Couldn’t ask for more!

Best hotel in Bruno, Staff was the best part of it all ! They were so accommodating and Wonderfull. Hotel was very beautiful and luxurious !! Great Breakfast as well. You can walk to everything in Brno.

I stayed here for a week and would have liked this to be a 5 star review. The hotel is beautiful and well situated. My room was spacious and well-appointed. I’ve given the staff 3 stars. They are courteous, pleasant, and speak excellent English. Sadly, they often seemed to have difficulty getting things done. For example, one of the sliding doors on my wardrobe jammed. I couldn’t get to my clothes. I asked 3 times over a period of 18 hours for this to be fixed, but it wasn’t. The next day, having worn the same clothes 2 days running and being reluctant to do so for a third, I removed the door and left it lying on the floor. It remained there untouched for a further 2 days before one of the maids involved her supervisor and it was fixed in about an hour. I don’t understand why that couldn’t have happened sooner. . I’m afraid, I can’t really compliment housekeeping either. Little details of servicing the room such as emptying the waste baskets, replenishing the minibar and replacing the pods that I’d used in the coffee machine were regularly overlooked; not all at the same time, but there was always something. I once asked reception to send up some coffee pods but nothing arrived. Please don’t get me wrong. This is a good hotel. I enjoyed my stay and will return. But the minor annoyances mean I can’t give it 5 stars. A pity because a little more efficiency and greater commitment by housekeeping and maintenance to act on requests from reception would have prevented them.

My son and I loved this property and would love the opportunity to stay in it again. It is an architecturally beautiful structure and the staff was welcoming and professional. the sauna room was fantastic. Breakfast was lovely and tea and dessert in the bar were excellent. I wished we had stayed another night.

This is by far one of the nicest hotels i have ever stayed at. 10 stars

this used to be my preferred hotel when Oscar was the manager, I was shocked when I woke up and my bed had a severe bend! It seems the bed needs to be replaced. When I mentioned this to new manager Zaneta she simply replied "I am sorry to hear" She was more preoccupied with charging us for parking than trying to remedy the situation. I have arrived from Madrid, Barcelona, Mallorca, Vieena , Bratislava, and Prague and this was the worst bed I have slept in. Ever. Thank you for asking

We were initially given a small room, which was noisy (being the lowest level, next to the tram), and no view. I asked if i were possible for the Expedia VIP upgrade, but were told the hotel has no arrangement with Expedia (so no cocktail either!) We did get changed to a better room, but had to wait for it to be cleaned etc and basically wasted the afternoon. Not really a pleasant or welcoming experience

Wonderful Stay

We greatly enjoyed our stay! From the moment we arrived until our departure, everything was outstanding.

The room is quiet and comfortable. The location is perfect really. The staff are all warm and courteous

Excellent hotel.

A pleasant surprise! This is one of the most beautiful of the Barcelo hotels with gorgeous high ceilings,clean modern rooms and generous sized room and bathroom. The front desk staff were exceptionally helpful, could not fault them. Bed was very very comfy with lots of big fluffy pillows!

You should have bottled water for coffee in the room

Beatiful, friendly. AC did not work on first night on a 90 degree day. Had to change rooms at 2am.

I liked this hotel a lot. The room was very nice and clean. The bed was cozy and the location is right next to the city center

Very high end property but we were given a room with only two skylights and no windows. They did upgrade us once we complained. Park is extremely expensive.

Hotel was at a perfect location and it was near to the main train station, around 10 minutes walk. Room was very big and clean. The staffs were friendly and polite.

Outstanding hotel, really good value for money

The hotel is in a great location and is stunning and clean inside and out. The room was large with high ceilings and included and iron/ironing board and robes and slippers. You could also order different types of pillows to the room! We received a welcome drink on arrival too. The breakfast was outstanding and set us up for the day. I’d highly recommend this hotel to anybody visiting Brno.

Very nice contemporary hotel with great staff

Reasonable walking distance from train station and very convenient to the Old Town. The room was very comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was extremely good and well priced. For 10 extra Euros I kept the room till 2.30pm

Lovely hotel. Great location. Super service and very friendly and welcoming staff. Only complaint is that the rooms were too hot and turning down the heating had no impact.

Pamper yourself at Barceló!

Barceló Brno Palace hotel is really conveniently located in the centre of Brno. The hotel itself has a luxurious vibe, the room was huge and so was the bed (like you need to get an Uber to get from one side to the other huge). Breakfast was amazing and definitely worth paying for.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of old town Brno.

We stayed one night here as we wanted to explore Brno. The Barcelo Brno Palace was perfect - central to the old town, which made everything we wanted to see and do walkable. It's also very close to the train station (which would have been great if we had less luggage - we would have been able to walk there). The hotel was beautiful, the room was large and clean and modern. Definitely recommend.

Rather 3,5* hotel

Terrible housekeeping for 5* hotel. Opening room doors before checkout without knocking. Mold in bathroom. Terrible sound isolation. Full parking spaces in front of hotel, so you cannot even park for Valet to take it. Standard breakfast - not 5* level. After complaining no compensation… We will not stay there again.

Overall a good hotel in a central location. The service is a bit poor but generally good.

A beautiful property with a unique foyer. The room was very well appointed and quite large. The staff were excellent and very accommodating. The property is very centrally located to all tourist attractions and the city. We had a wonderful 3 days and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Brno.

Perfect location for exploring Brno on foot. Room was large with comfortable king-plus bed and good bathroom/shower. Staff were very helpful and attentive and were able to assist with such tasks as calling for taxis etc (ensure you ask for a taxi that takes card if you do not have cash). The only downside to the stay was that if English is your only language there are only one or two English news tv channels with no smart tv options. If staying more than a few days travel with an iPad of similar for your movie content. Room has excellent wifi signal for this.

Service, food and location was excellent!!

Beautiful hotel and conveniently located. The staff were welcoming and accommodating. The gym was well taken care of and had good lighting and Bose speakers connected to Spotify which I appreciated. I would highly recommend choosing this hotel for a relaxing stay!

Great location, 10 minutes from train station. Very close to town center and cathedral. Can be noisy because it is close to a couple bars. Staff was helpful, spoke English and room was very comfortable. The bar off the lobby is quite small but there are lots of places in the lobby to sit and be comfortable.

The building is beautiful, the location very convenient to the old town, and the room was large. However the ventilation was such that the room could not be cooled for sleeping (we like a cool room as the bedding is very warm). It was 'necessary' to open the windows but the street noise was considerable with the noisy revellers going on until about 3am.

Good for the price. The option Al breakfast is too expensive. Fortunately there were several better options nearby.

Beautiful hotel

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, and the rooms, staff, spa / gym and food amazing. My only one small complaint was that I contacted them weeks ahead for an early check in. When I arrived they had no record of it so I assume moved the room I was supposed to be in to accommodate me. The room sadly had two single beds instead of the luxury king I’d booked. I’d been travelling from 2 am so decided to just leave it as i wanted to sleep and I was travelling alone but it did take the shine off the room.

Everything top-notch, from the location to the comfort of the room, amenities and breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent area to explore the city attractions and Castle.

The hotel has an impressive lobby, decoration, and atmosphere are fantastic. The staff was professional. We didn't try the hotel breakfast, even though I would go for it next time, overall the experience was very welcoming.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel. Very modern, and our room was huge. Very convenient to city center, Christmas markets, the cathedral and castle, pretty much everything you’d want to see in Brno. Would definitely recommend for Brno.

This hotel is in a great location, close to the sights and main square. It's style is Continental Bling but we had a nice room overlooking the park. Ask if an event is planned & to avoid the courtyard, we had a fashion show on the night we arrived.

Fabulous hotel in fantastic location

Impressive historic building stylishly renovated. The hotel was spotless, calm, and staff were helpful and welcoming. Have already recommended it to others visiting Brno.

Building was gorgeous. Rooms were nicely decorated and clean. Disco/bar next door was loud and sent vibration through room (my glass minibar bottles rattled). Loud from 11pm to after 2am. If I knew it would be so loud I would never have booked.

Thank you Dominika ( front desk nice lady ) for accommodating our wishes for better room. All the stuff were very friendly. Hotel is in the perfect location. Beautiful room with excellent view. Only the parking fee is overpriced. But I will be back for sure.

The stay was amazing, the room was big, spacious and clean. The bathrooms are getting old now, and should be upgraded

They have a rowing machine! Everything great except poorly synched automatic lighting (corner rooms)... fumbling for key in the dark hallway while trying to keep the light on! A big annoyance in an otherwise perfect experience.

Receptionist Staffs are very helpful, friendly, gave excellent services to customers. Hotel rooom is very good, excellent look, cleaness...

Wonderful stay with nice staff and very comfortable room. Not a huge deal but unusual to find NO washcloths. I called to request one and was told they don’t stock them. Otherwise I was totally satisfied with the accommodations. The location was perfect for exploring Brno.

A great location in Brno

Internally, this hotel is spectacular. Reception is competent and friendly. Parking is on-site via valet (at extra cost). The standard room was comfortable but unremarkable except for a huge bathroom. The location is excellent - walking distance to all the best places in Brno.

This is an amazing hotel conveniently located in the heart of Brno. Very walkable, friendly and helpful staff, gourmet food selection, and plush rooms. This was a haven to us after long days of travel. I would highly recommend this hotel!

Relaxing getaway with 5 star treatment

The beds were super comfy and provided a wonderful nights sleep. The service was great and the staff were nice. The management went out of their way to make my husband's birthday extra special by delivering champagne and cake to our room. We found a few things on the menu that we enjoyed, but others not so much. The thai massage wasn't as relaxing as we'd hoped because they didn't seem to understand light pressure. We were sore for days afterwards.

Great Location parking extra.

Short holiday 2 night stay. Location is ideal next to the old city centre. During our time in Brno we visited Špilberk castle and Koupaliště Riviera a new swimming complex in Brno Stred.

We had a very pleasant stay. The hotel is stunning, great location, clean and staff was eager to make our stay as smooth and exiting as possible. I’m traveling with my 2 teenage kids and being upgraded to a double room was wonderful. In all we loved the hotel and will always stay there while visiting Brno.
